Canadian Prime Minister Responds to Trump Termination of Trade Talks – Canada Will Air False Ad During World Series

Posted originally on CTH on October 24, 2025 | Sundance

Last night President Trump terminated all trade discussions with Canada following the government of Canada running a false political ad in the USA, using manipulated Ronald Reagan remarks against U.S tariffs.

Earlier today Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney spoke about the issue to his assembled stenographers in media, and shortly thereafter he had a phone call with Ontario Premier Doug Ford.  Carney and Ford decided to run the ad during the World Series and then stop it on Monday.

It would be illegal for the USA government to run an ad in Canada.  The Canadian government does not permit foreign interests to express political opinions against their domestic policies on their controlled broadcasting operations.

.

BREAKING: “Our intention was always to initiate a conversation about the kind of economy that Americans want to build and the impact of tariffs on workers and businesses. We’ve achieved our goal, having reached U.S. audiences at the highest levels.

I’ve directed my team to keep putting our message in front of Americans over the weekend so that we can air our commercial during the first two World Series games.

In speaking with Prime Minister Carney, Ontario will pause its U.S. advertising campaign effective Monday so that trade talks can resume.

The people elected our government to protect Ontario—our workers, businesses, families and communities. That’s exactly what I’m doing. Like I said earlier today: Canada and the U.S. are neighbours, friends and allies.

We’re so much stronger when we work together. Let’s work together to build Fortress Am-Can and make our two countries stronger, more prosperous and more secure.”  ~ Ontario Premier Doug Ford

U.S-Canada trade negotiations remain terminated.  I strongly support a full U.S-Canada border shutdown, trade embargo and visa revocation. The Canadian economy must be destroyed in order to protect the USA and Mexico from toxic leftism.

There It Is – White House NEC Director Kevin Hassett Notes Something VERY Important

White House Chair of the National Economic Council (NEC), Kevin Hassett, walked out to the press pool to discuss the latest excellent inflation figures from the Bureau of Labor Statistics today {BLS REPORT HERE}.  However, the insufferable press pool wanted to talk about other things.

I’ll get to the BLS data below – with a gold nugget just for you, don’t share it.  But first, NEC Director Hassett also let something slip in his responsive comments that most will miss.

When asked about Trump’s decision to terminate all trade negotiations with Canada, Hasset noted the discussions were frustrating, and “The Canadians were very difficult to negotiate with.” Then comes the key point (03:28), “The fact that we are now negotiating with Mexico, separately, reveals that it’s not just one add, there’s frustration that has built up.”

What Hassett just confirmed again, as if we needed more evidence, is that the trilateral trade agreement -the USMCA- is not going to exist once Trump opens it up for renegotiation.  The USA team is already working on a separate bilateral trade agreement between the USA and Mexico, proactively.  The USMCA is dead – we just have not made it official yet.  WATCH (prompted):

.

On the inflation data, the September inflation rate was 0.3 percent, much lower than all economists and pundits predicted.  The tariffs are having no impact on the rise of consumer prices.  In fact, the sectors with the most imported goods are the sectors with the lowest inflation.

[SOURCE]

To pull out an example, look at the apparel sector.  Apparel is dominantly an imported product category, coming from China and Southeast Asia textile manufacturing factories.  The apparel sector is 0.7 overall, with many of the sub-sectors significantly lower – See Table-2

To drive home the point, look at detailed TABLE-2 HERE: furniture, electronics, toys, cell phones, appliances etc. the highest imported goods sectors are all running negative inflation rates; meaning, consumer prices are factually lower even with the global tariffs in place.  Imported products are NOT causing inflation; in fact, their prices are dropping.

Just like 2018 and 2019, tariffs on imported goods do not drive up consumer prices, particularly when those tariffs are connected to policy that lowers overall energy prices – transportation and shipping costs lowered.  The producing countries are offsetting the tariff rates by lowering the wholesale prices.

♦ Now, a golden nugget for consideration later.  Combine the value of what we import from Canada with the conversations that President Trump has had with Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin.  Elevate your thinking, and overlay the U.S. withdrawing operational support with the NATO alliance.

Now think about those icebreakers that President Trump has ordered from Finland, and the policy initiatives within the trade agreements that are going to build arctic fleets of USA ships to ensure navigation.  Russia is the closest country to the USA, and Russia has exponentially more of the same valuable raw materials that we import from Canada.

Trump is ending the USMCA.  Trump has discussed a post-Ukraine war relationship with Putin.  Canada is cozying up to China and the EU, and Trump has ordered icebreakers to operate in the region between the USA and Russia.  Who has the largest consumer market, and who has the largest capacity to deliver raw materials in a strategic relationship based on trade. Things look a little different now?

We keep watching.

President Trump Terminates “All Trade Negotiations” With Canada

Posted originally on CTH on October 24, 2025 | Sundance

President Trump makes a statement from his Truth Social account that all trade negotiations with Canada are immediately terminated following the Canadian government purchasing ads to lie to the American people about tariffs.

PRESIDENT TRUMP – “The Ronald Reagan Foundation has just announced that Canada has fraudulently used an advertisement, which is FAKE, featuring Ronald Reagan speaking negatively about Tariffs. The ad was for $75,000,000. They only did this to interfere with the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court, and other courts. TARIFFS ARE VERY IMPORTANT TO THE NATIONAL SECURITY, AND ECONOMY, OF THE U.S.A. Based on their egregious behavior, ALL TRADE NEGOTIATIONS WITH CANADA ARE HEREBY TERMINATED. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” President DJT

At first review this might seem like an angered response to a fabrication by the Canadian government of Prime Minister Mark Carney. However, there is much more to this background story as CTH readers are well aware.

First, rather than make any substantive policy changes, Canada is organizing a new trade relationship with China as an offset to the trade conflict with President Trump. {GO DEEP} This will make Canada a dumping ground for cheap Chinese goods, which then becomes a problem for the U.S.

Second, President Trump has stated his intention to dissolve the North American USMCA trade deal in favor of two separate bilateral trade agreements between the U.S and Mexico and the U.S. and Canada. Again, without the U.S. economy as a subsidy for their policy, a disconnect will make Canada very vulnerable to China and Europe. {GO DEEP}

Another Illegal Alien Truck Driver Kills Three More People in California – Horrific Crash

Posted originally on CTH on October 23, 2025 | Sundance

The illegal aliens driving semi tractor trailers is becoming a serious problem. Another three people were killed in a horrific crash in California.  The video is disturbing.

According to ICE they, “lodged an arrest detainer for Jashanpreet Singh, a criminal illegal alien from India, who took the lives of 3 individuals in a horrific DUI accident in San Bernadino County, California.

Singh first entered the U.S. in 2022 through the southern border and was RELEASED into the country under the Biden administration.

This tragedy follows a disturbing pattern of criminal illegal aliens driving commercial vehicles on American roads, directly threatening public safety. Under President Trump and Secretary Kristi Noem, ICE is working day-in and day-out to make America’s roads safe again. (source)

Senator Grassley Releases FBI Memo to DOJ Requesting Authorization to Begin Arctic Frost Investigation – Lisa Monaco Approves

Posted originally on CTH on October 23, 2025 | Sundance

Talk about prescient Trump.  Wow, this Truth Social post was stunningly accurate:

Senator Chuck Grassley has released a memo [SOURCE HERE – outlined below] showing FBI Director Chris Wray asking Attorney General Merrick Garland to authorize the FBI’s Arctic Frost investigation that targeted all of President Trump’s supporters inside and outside government.

Knowing how these things work, it appears Deputy AG Lisa Monaco and FBI Director Chris Wray formulated the Arctic Frost strategy as the request memo sent by Wray was authorized through the office of DAG Monaco.

In the memo as released, DAG Monaco writes, “Merrick, I recommend you approve.”

The non-pretending review would encompass something like Lisa Monaco asking Chris Wray to trigger the investigation, and Wray responding, ‘not without a cya document to protect myself’.  Director Wray then sends the authorization request through Monaco to AG Merrick Garland, who approves on April 5, 2022.

[SOURCE]

With AG Merrick Garland approving the investigation, Arctic Frost is triggered by the FBI Washington Field Office.

As readers are now aware, Arctic Frost encompassed a multitude of search and surveillance warrants against people and organizations who supported President Trump, including the Twitter Account followers of Donald Trump and members of congress who had their phone records intercepted by the FBI.

All told, there are hundreds of thousands of Americans who were caught up in this surveillance net known as Arctic Frost.  That massive amount of surveillance data was then turned over to the January 6th Committee and later to Special Counsel Jack Smith who launched the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago.

While it is the senators who are furious about having their phone records intercepted by the FBI, there are thousands more American citizens who were caught up in this massive surveillance sweep by a corrupt FBI and Main Justice operation.  There is no FBI apple, it’s all worms.

[SOURCE]

Another point on this -because I don’t think people can ever truly grasp the scope of it- is to remind everyone the Supreme Court rejected the ability of Twitter to reveal the extent of the U.S. government activity in the surveillance use of the social media platform to manipulate public opinion.  {GO DEEP}

Previously, the Obama/Biden administration, through the DOJ and Attorney General Eric Holder, used the IRS to assemble a list of people and entities against their interests.  Once that revelation came to light in April 2012 as a result of an IRS whistleblower, the Obama/Biden administration then began a process of using the NSA database to monitor political opposition through March 2016.  Ultimately, that surveillance led to the targeting of candidate Donald Trump in 2016 through Crossfire Hurricane and the later targeting of President Trump after his inauguration with the FBI controlling the Robert Mueller investigation.  The FBI Arctic Frost investigation, which became the fuel source for Special Counsel Jack Smith, is simply another extension of this entire targeting and surveillance system put into place by President Obama.

The common silo throughout all of these operations is the weaponized use of the FBI.

Their ability to use “national security” as the justification for all of the corrupt targeting and surveillance is ultimately the source of power for the Fourth Branch of Government which ODNI Tulsi Gabbard is now confronting.

Keep an Eye on This – Canada Working Diligently on New Era Trade Partnership with China, ASEAN Summit Looming

Posted originally on CTH on October 23, 2025 | Sundance

Having provided deliberate advice and counsel quietly on these matters, it is important to continue watching the developments as they unfold.  There are trillions at stake.

President Trump’s global trade and economic reset is well underway. It is not an overstatement to say the western world economic structures within trade, banking and finance are in opposition to his efforts.  Alas, as we have outlined extensively, part of the larger phase of this reset will come in the likely dissolution of the U.S. Mexico, Canada trade agreement (USMCA).

Canada is taking actions to replace their U.S. trade relationship by aligning more with the EU and China.  This is a very dangerous approach for the Canadian people, because in the short-term there may be benefits; however, in the longer term the downsides are quite severe. Remember, Xi Jinping wanted Mark Carney to win the parliamentary election.

[SOURCE] – Canadian Foreign Minister’s visit to China promotes the warming of relations and new opportunities for educational cooperation! This is the most high-level contact between the two countries since 2018.

Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand paid an official visit to Beijing and held important talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

The visit not only commemorates the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Canada and China, but also marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the strategic partnership between the two countries. During the meeting, the two sides discussed issues such as trade, energy, environment and public health, laying the foundation for the “normalization” of Canada-China relations.

It is worth noting that the talks took place after Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and Chinese Premier Li Qiang contacted during a UN meeting.

According to multiple sources, a formal meeting between Carney and Chinese leaders is being prepared, possibly as early as the APEC summit in South Korea this month.

Anand’s meeting with Wang Yi is the first official visit by the Canadian government to China since 2020. During the talks, the two sides reached a number of consensus and clarified the direction of re-establishing bilateral communication mechanisms. (read more)

What Canada is doing is the same thing as the EU.  Canada is walking a precarious tightwire and hugging the Beijing Panda in an effort to replace economic dependence on the USA.

Choosing to embrace China in lieu of modifying bilateral trade agreements with the USA is a short-sighted fool’s errand. But with political calculations each entity, Canada and/or the EU collective, are pandering to their base out of an unwillingness to change trade behavior as demanded by Trump.

Yes, Canada may end up exporting more goods to China to replace the USA losses, but at what cost long-term.

Think about the EU auto-sector as an example.

To avoid paying their own climate change fines, the EU automakers are purchasing carbon credits from Chinese EV automakers. In the short term, that trick may diminish the auto company fines to Brussels but think about the longer-term problem.

China takes the revenue from the EU companies and uses it to subsidize their EV exports making their EVs cost substantially less than EU electric vehicles in the EU.

Geely, BYD, etc. can lower the price of an EV in Europe because EU car companies are giving them money. The EU is paying China to destroy the EU auto industry. You cannot make this stuff up.

In the Canadian model, Mark Carney may end up selling more stuff to China but he’s going to end up selling less to the USA because Chinese components are subject to larger USA trade tariffs.

Canada is betting they can export more $$ to Beijing than they will lose in diminished export $$ to the USA. Fine, that’s the bet (political calculation). However, the reality of the end result is increased dependency on China. That never ends well.

Beijing keeps the panda mask on while the dependency is created, see belt and road; however, as soon as it is in Beijing’s interest to drop the panda mask, ¹Canada will see the dragon face behind it.

¹Perhaps not all of Canada.

FBI Releases New Video of J6 Pipe Bomber – Reward Increased to $500,000

Posted originally on CTH on October 23, 2025 | Sundance

The FBI are maintaining the appearances of an investigation by releasing new video of the January 5th Washington DC pipe bomb suspect.

The video below gives a visual reference to the activity of the suspect on the evening of January 5, 2021.  From the video the FBI believes the suspect is 5 foot 7 inches, wearing a very distinctive type of Nike sneaker.

Based on mannerisms, gait, behavior with the backpack and body language, I suspect this is a 5′ 7″ female.

The FBI is still offering a $500,000 reward for information that helps identify the person who placed pipe bombs at the offices of the Democratic National Committee and Republican National Committee on January 5, 2021. As part of our ongoing investigation, we’re releasing an updated video of the subject, which includes previously unreleased footage, higher quality video, and longer clips of the subject’s movements.” [INFORMATION HERE]

EU Is Going to Have Their NATO War Against Russia – With or Without President Trump – And It Gets Worse

Posted originally on CTH on October 22, 2025 | Sundance

Let’s put the events of the last 72 hours into context.

On Monday and Tuesday, Russian oil refineries in NATO countries Hungary and Romania suddenly, and simultaneously, have mysterious explosions and catastrophic fires {citation}}. On Wednesday, NATO head Mark Rutte comes to visit President Trump in the White House, and at the end of the day, the same Russian company, Lukoil, whose refinery exploded in Romania, suddenly becomes sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury {citation}. These events are not disconnected.

President Trump then disputes a Wall Street Journal report {citation}, further saying he did not give approval, nor does he know where NATO long-range missiles are coming from that were launched from Ukraine into Russia {citation}.

Alarmingly, both the Wall Street Journal and President Trump are seemingly correct.

President Trump did not give authorization; however, he did cede authority to NATO to make independent decisions about long-range missiles. The U.K. provided the British storm shadow missiles, and Ukraine launched them with NATO support for targeting deep into Russia.

President Trump saying, “wherever they may come from,” is alarming in itself.  We all know that British PM Starmer, French President Macron, German Chancellor Merz and NATO Secretary Mark Rutte are all in alignment to push NATO into a direct conflict with Russia using the non-NATO state of Ukraine to do it.

The frustrating part is not the obtuse deflection by President Trump – perhaps he really doesn’t know – but rather the alarming issue of questioning whether President Trump is getting accurate information from the U.S. intelligence apparatus to make sound decisions.  President Trump has abdicated the conflict decision-making to the NATO “coalition of the willing”, while the USA remains in NATO as a sideline observer.

The European members of NATO want war with Russia.  President Trump does not want war with Russia, yet remains tied to NATO as they push toward war with Russia.  This is not going to end well.

The U.S. Treasury sanctions against Russian energy companies is not going to cause Russian President Vladimir Putin to change his mind on his strategic objective of taking the Donbas region in Ukraine as a buffer zone against NATO encroachment.

WASHINGTON — Today, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is imposing further sanctions as a result of Russia’s lack of serious commitment to a peace process to end the war in Ukraine. Today’s actions increase pressure on Russia’s energy sector and degrade the Kremlin’s ability to raise revenue for its war machine and support its weakened economy. The United States will continue to advocate for a peaceful resolution to the war, and a permanent peace depends entirely on Russia’s willingness to negotiate in good faith. Treasury will continue to use its authorities in support of a peace process.

“Now is the time to stop the killing and for an immediate ceasefire,” said Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent. “Given President Putin’s refusal to end this senseless war, Treasury is sanctioning Russia’s two largest oil companies that fund the Kremlin’s war machine. Treasury is prepared to take further action if necessary to support President Trump’s effort to end yet another war. We encourage our allies to join us in and adhere to these sanctions.”

Today’s action targets Russia’s two largest oil companies, Open Joint Stock Company Rosneft Oil Company (Rosneft) and Lukoil OAO (Lukoil), which are now designated. Rosneft is a vertically integrated energy company specializing in the exploration, extraction, production, refining, transport, and sale of petroleum, natural gas, and petroleum products. Lukoil engages in the exploration, production, refining, marketing, and distribution of oil and gas in Russia and internationally.

Rosneft and Lukoil are being designated pursuant to E.O. 14024 for operating or having operated in the energy sector of the Russian Federation economy.

Additionally, OFAC is designating a number of Russia-based Rosneft and Lukoil subsidiaries, a list of which is available in Annex 1 below. All entities owned 50 percent or more, directly or indirectly, by Rosneft and Lukoil are blocked pursuant to E.O. 14024, even if not designated by OFAC. (read more)

It was Lukoil’s operation in Romania that exploded on Monday, and it was Rosneft oil that was being processed at the refinery in Hungary where the explosion took place on Monday night into Tuesday.  Then, suddenly on Wednesday, President Trump, NATO General Secretary Mark Rutte and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent trigger sanctions against Rosneft and Lukoil.

President Vladimir Putin is not a pretending man.

The Russian Federation President can clearly see what NATO (sans Trump) is trying to do, even if the advisors around President Trump are not being fulsome with their information about what NATO is trying to do.

Fubar.  All of it.

[…] – The unannounced U.S. move to enable Kyiv to use the missile in Russia comes after authority for supporting such attacks was recently transferred from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth at the Pentagon to the top U.S. general in Europe, Gen. Alexus Grynkewich, who also serves as NATO commander. (more)
