In 2019, backlash about “The Hunt” from President Trump and many others, got the movie aborted before distribution. In March, it will finally hit theaters, this time promoted as unbiased political satire, rather than a film about liberal elites slaughtering “deplorables”. The screenwriters just don’t understand why Trump supporters would be offended, and wish the president has seen it before he slammed it on Twitter.
