This is a book review of a great book written by Kurt Schlichter that I finished reading a few weeks ago. I found it very interesting, especially since I was a Green Beret officer in Vietnam in 1967. It was not a well-managed war AND I left the military in September 1969.

Over the next several decades I did a lot of reading on military history going back to the Roman empire as I wanted to know as much as I could about war. I ended the study with what happened in Vietnam, and why. The video below was based from a from a book I read By Robert McNamara who was an American businessman and Secretary of Defense (1916-2009). I think this video came out after the book.

In 1998 I read a book published in 1997 the   Fourth Turning an American Prophecy written by William Strauss and Neil Howe. The book was about the cycles of history. Which contained 4 sub cycles. And the title the Fourth Turning was the story of wat we are now going into. The prediction of the authors was right on, and we are mow at the end of this fourth turning and getting set for the next first Turning. Which means a totally new government. Now back to this review which goes along with what was in the Book the Fourth Turning. Which is a new structure of society.

The Book starts with some back ground and is a little confusing at first but by page 22/23 you begin to get oriented at the way the book is written. At this point we find out the US House was taken over by the Democrats in November 2026 and President Trump and his VP JD Vance were assassinated in New York on September 11 2027 while at 9-11 celebration. Both were killed by drones.

The US House Speaker at the time was Debra Holmes and was sworn in as President the same day. She lost no time getting rid of every one she didn’t like. And declared that All Republicans were insurrectionists and band them from any government positions. At that point the country split into two segments Red states and Blue states and the army split into the Red states geeing rid of all Woke require things and the blue states going full Woke. There was a lot of movement between the various states, as the citizens moved to a state compatible with their views. And the 2^nd civil war was started.

The book is a series of chapters each with a story of someone in the Red states and the Blue states. The Red states were not Woke and as we know Trump and Pete Hegseth had had got the military back in shape after Trump was elected in a landside in 22024,  

And since the Blue states were very Woke, Since the Evil Woman President Holmes, put back all the Wokness of President Biden prior to President Trump. With no component officers or solders they were no match for a real army and they just didn’t have a chance.

The story in the book is well written and it ends Realistically.

A warning, with my background as a Green Beret with the rank of Captain, I can say that the story in this book is what would likely happen to us if we don’t keep the house and the senate in Nonmember 2026.
