Appeals Court Revokes Temporary Protected Status for Migrants

After months of legal turmoil, the 1st US Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that the United States can secure its borders and has the right to end the temporary legal protections granted to migrants under the Biden Administration.

Joe Biden provided 430,000 migrants from Haiti, Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua with temporary protected status (TPS). Biden later expanded this status to those from Sudan, Ukraine, and El Salvador. People from Myanmar (Burma), Cameroon, Haiti, Ethiopia, Lebanon, Somalia, South Sudan, Syria, and Yemen were also often granted TPS status. “We are glad the Biden Administration has committed to protecting the citizens of four troubled countries, including 190,000 Salvadorans who have worked and contributed to this country for decades. […] Citizens of Honduras and Nicaragua, among other countries, deserve TPS extensions also, and they are still waiting. Like other immigrants, they will face great danger when the next president takes office. The current administration needs to protect them, too,” the TPS Alliance stated ahead of Trump’s presidency.

Basically, anyone from a less than desirable nation was suddenly permitted to live and work in America without going through the proper immigration process. Open border policies at their finest. Over one million migrants enjoyed the protections granted to them under TPS, until now.

The Trump Administration has been attempting to reverse this policy since March, arguing that the protection was only meant to be temporary and the Department of Homeland Security should have the authority to expel those who overstayed. The purchased courtrooms ruled that each case needed individual due process, which could never feasibly happen.

Now, the court has ruled that the Department of Homeland Security can revoke TPS status for over 430,000 migrants, or less than half who are in the nation. This status was originally meant to last for two years, but once someone enters the United States, the legal system makes it very difficult for them to leave involuntarily. The entire intent of open border policies was to flood the nation with as many migrants as possible to alter electionsprop up the dollar, and replace the declining working class. There was no plan or budget and the American people will be paying for open border policies for generations to come. Mass deportation is the only way to prevent the United States from becoming Europe. Import the third world and you become the third world.

Federal Charges Brought in Brutal Murder of Iryna Zarutska

The U.S Attorney for the Western District of North Carolina, Russ Ferguson, and James C. Barnacle, Jr., Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Charlotte Division hold a press conference to outline federal charges against Decarlos Dejuan Brown, Jr. in the brutal murder of Iryna Zarutska.

Both Agent James Barnacle and U.S. Attorney Russ Ferguson were emotional at times as they delivered their statements to the media and announced the federal charges. WATCH:

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A federal criminal complaint was filed in U.S. District Court in Charlotte today, charging a Charlotte man with a federal crime in connection with the fatal attack of Iryna Zarutska on the city’s light rail system, announced Russ Ferguson, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of North Carolina. Decarlos Dejuan Brown, Jr., 34, is charged with one count of committing an act causing death on a mass transportation system.

James C. Barnacle, Jr., Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Charlotte Division, joins U.S. Attorney Ferguson in making today’s announcement.

“Iryna Zarutska was a young woman living the American dream — her horrific murder is a direct result of failed soft-on-crime policies that put criminals before innocent people,” said Attorney General Pamela Bondi. “I have directed my attorneys to federally prosecute DeCarlos Brown Jr., a repeat violent offender with a history of violent crime, for murder. We will seek the maximum penalty for this unforgivable act of violence — he will never again see the light of day as a free man.”

“The brutal attack on Iryna Zarutska on the Charlotte Light Rail was a disgraceful act that should never happen in America,” said FBI Director Kash Patel. “The FBI jumped to assist in this investigation immediately to ensure justice is served and the perpetrator is never released from jail to kill again. I want to thank Attorney General Bondi for her pursuit of today’s federal charges, which are the first step toward delivering justice for Iryna and her family – as well as the millions of Americans who deserve to live in our great American cities free from being targeted by violent criminals.”

“This brutal attack on an innocent woman simply trying to get to her destination is an attack on the American way of life,” said U.S. Attorney Russ Ferguson. “Of course, crimes like this affect the victim the most—Iryna deserves justice, and we will bring justice to her and her family. But crimes like this also affect everyone who relies on mass transportation to get to and from work and go about their daily lives, and federal charges are necessary to protect the public and ensure confidence in our transportation systems.”

“Iryna Zarutska had likely taken that train ride many times before. She was probably tired after a day at work and just wanted to go home, but tragically she never made it. We hope this federal charge will help bring her family a measure of justice and the courts will hold the subject charged in this horrific act accountable. Everyone in this country deserves to go work, to school, or just across town without fear of being attacked,” said James C. Barnacle Jr., the FBI Charlotte Special Agent in Charge.

According to allegations in the affidavit filed with the criminal complaint:

On August 22, 2025, at approximately 9:55 p.m., officers with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) responded to a call for service related to an assault that occurred on the Lynx Blue Line light rail in Charlotte. Callers indicated that a woman had been stabbed by a male. Responding officers located the victim inside the rail car. The victim, subsequently identified as Iryna Zarutska, had sustained fatal stab wounds. A pocketknife and other items were collected from the scene.

Investigators reviewed surveillance footage that showed the victim entering the light rail car and sitting down in the row in front of Brown. Approximately four minutes later, Brown pulled a knife from his pocket and unfolded it before striking the victim three times from behind. Following the attack, Brown walked away from the victim. Responding officers located Brown on the light rail platform and he was arrested.

If convicted, Brown faces a maximum statutory sentence of life in prison or death. Ultimately, his sentence will be determined by the Court based on the advisory sentencing guidelines and other statutory factors. (SOURCE)

Media Blackout After Career Criminal Murders Young Woman in North Carolina

Posted originally on Sep 9, 2025 by Martin Armstrong |

Iryna Zarutska, a 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee, fled to America in search of a better life. Instead, Iryna was murdered in cold blood in an unprovoked attack while riding a train in North Carolina. Career criminal Decarlos Brown Jr. was arrested no fewer than 14 times before slaughtering the young woman, and now, the mainstream media is in meltdown mode as they rush to control the narrative.

Wikipedia editors have repeatedly attempted to remove the story. “Nothing is remarkable about this,” the editors at Wikipedia claim. Wikipedia was eager to cover the death of George Floyd and has enshrined his memory with a page that recognizes the global outrage that followed his death. The mainstream media has a very specific agenda and selectively chooses what narratives it wants the masses to believe.

“Decarlos Brown Jr. was failed categorically by the judicial system and the mental health services of North Carolina, and as such is not entirely to blame for what happened,” read Brown’s GoFundMe page that has since been removed. Donations to the 35-year-old homeless schizophrenic man were intended to “fight against the racism and bias against our people,” one fundraiser claimed.

Decarlos Dejuan Brown Jr. had a violent criminal history, including armed robbery, threats, assault, and felony larceny. He had been involuntarily institutionalized in psychiatric wards for schizophrenic outbursts. Liberal judges released Brown without bail after each arrest. The majority claimed Brown was a victim of systemic racism and undeveloped mental health resources.

North Carolina Magistrate Judge Teresa Stokes released Brown after his 14th arrest in January 2025 based on a “written promise” that the man would return to his court hearing. Brown was arrested for misusing the 911 system during a police officer wellness check where the man told authorities that “man-made” objects were controlling his body. “Brown wanted officers to investigate this ‘man-made’ material that was inside of his body,” the affidavit said. “Officers advised Brown that the issue was medical issue and that there was nothing further they could do.” Judge Stokes also happens to act as the Director of Operations at the Second Chance Services clinic, where Brown was once held. There is a clear conflict of interest and blatant disregard for public safety.

Liberal judges refuse to prosecute violent criminals, and liberal politicians refuse to acknowledge that their cities have become overrun by these criminals who are above the law. “The public safety threat that you’re actually after is one that could be remedied well before you grind your way through a court system,” North Carolina District Attorney Spencer Merriweather said before the surveillance video was released. Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles urged media outlets not to post the video of the unprovoked attack.

Over a dozen judges released Decarlos Brown back into the public to commit new crimes over 14 times since 2014. The judges had clear evidence that this man was not fit for society. Iryna Zarutska’s murder was preventable. The system failed this young woman, and yet, the left mainstream media would like the public to have sympathy for her murderer. It is clear that the bleeding-heart liberals have a cause closer to their hearts than Ukraine or women’s rights. The media attempted to silence the story, and other stories that are increasingly common as liberal judges have been appointed to side with criminals.

23-year-old Ukraine Refugee Killed in North Carolina by Violent Career Criminal

23-year-old Iryna Zarutska fled the war in Ukraine in 2022; she came to the United States and lived in North Carolina.  On August 22nd after finishing her shift at Zepeddie’s Pizza, a Charlotte North Carolina restaurant, she boarded a light rail train to head home.

While minding her own business and sitting on a seat scrolling her telephone, a career criminal named Decarlos Brown Jr (35), took a knife out of his pocket, stood up behind Ms Zarutska and then plunged the knife into her neck and throat. Iryna Zarutska bleed to death on the spot.  She was killed for being white.

Ms Zarutska survived a war zone only to end up dead on a train in North Carolina as a result of political correctness and leftist urban policies that allow criminals to roam the streets looking for their next victim. The media has been largely silent on the attack, and Charlotte’s democrat Mayor has thanked the media for not sharing the story.

After killing Ms. Zarutska, Decarlos Brown Jr. walked to the front of the train, took off his bloodied hoodie, then walked away from the train. Brown was later arrested again; this is the fourteenth time he was arrested.

NORTH CAROLINA – Liberal media and politicians have been accused of staying silent on the savage murder of a young Ukrainian refugee on a North Carolina train — after a career criminal with no fewer than 14 arrests was charged with her murder.

Iryna Zarutska, 23, was stabbed to death on a light rail train in Charlotte, with horrifying surveillance footage showing the moment the unsuspecting young woman was brutally attacked.

Decarlos Brown Jr., 35, is allegedly shown pulling out a pocket knife and getting out of his seat behind Zarutska before the video cuts just as he prepares to plunge the blade into her, footage shared by police shows. (READ MORE)
