For Truth’s Sake!
Truth…Whether the Left Likes It or Not
by Dr. Fred
Are too many black males suspended because they have no respect for authority? Just asking…
I spent 10 years teaching grades 4 through 6 in California’s public school systems. Following that, I moved up to teaching junior and technical colleges. I’m not just someone who has read about or studied the issues and problems facing educators and students alike. I lived it because for ten years, while teaching in public schools, I created daily lesson plans, dealt with problems in the classroom, and jumped through all the hoops asked of me with all of my colleagues in order to become better educators in the classroom.
The one thing that I found to be polarizing, exasperating, and way too much of a time waster was when I was forced to deal with classroom management issues. Every good teacher worth his or her salt had a classroom management plan. It would have been asinine to walk into any classroom without such a plan in place. Right up front students needed to know what was expected of them, what the rewards as well as the consequences of their actions would be. There should never be any type of guessing game at all.
My biggest and probably my most important rule was this one: I would treat each and every student with respect and I expected the same in return. It was important to establish this at the very beginning of each school year. A classroom that inculcated respect among students – to one another – and among students to teacher – among one another – had a great chance of being the type of classroom where students not only could learn, but would want to learn.
Today, what we are hearing more and more is this question (or something similar): why is it black males seem to be disproportionately suspended/expelled from classrooms? In fact, though the federal government has done numerous studies on this, they are determined to do more. Apparently, they haven’t received the answer they want to hear, so they commission more studies and will likely continue until they hear the answer they want to hear. The answer – for the federal government – will have something to do with RACISM. Until they get this answer, they will not be satisfied.
Here is an example of what a teacher in a particular school district has to face. As I watched this video, it became immediately clear that there was no teaching going on at all. Why? Because a number of the dominant black males in this classroom have opted to try out their machismo on a smaller black student. A white teacher steps in separates the students, but as can be seen, the situation is allowed to go on of its own accord. There is no attempt by the teacher to bring the class to order. Frankly, I’m not sure how it would be done either and that’s coming from someone who spent years in the classroom.
Here’s another video example that portrays a black male teacher against a black student and his buds. They back him up and it actually winds up ratcheting things up. The students have absolutely no respect for the black teacher. None.
If you can get through the video, listening the “rationale” and “logic” of the main black male student, the question to me becomes clear: why are these kids even IN this type of environment? They don’t care. They’re not interested in doing what’s expected of them. They use filthy and foul language toward the teacher. They are already GANGBANGERS in their minds (whether they are that in reality), who are simply wasting time in the educational system when they have not one shred of interest in being there.
In this third video, another black male teacher gets a bit more respect than the previous one. He isn’t going to put up with the shenanigans of two kids in his classroom and lays the rules out straight.
What is the problem here in these schools? Why do students act like this? There are several reasons, none of which have anything to do with racism. Again though, this is not what the federal government wants to hear so they will continue to commission more studies until they get what they want: racism.
Consider that many black families in inner cities are missing something extremely important: a dad that is actually part of the family. Too many black families of inner cities and suburbs have no father at all. These families consist of a black female mother who has produced several children (possibly from different fathers) and the dads cannot be found. Mom’s only source of income is Welfare because she can’t get a job since she has kids and no one to babysit while she works.
Too many of these young black women start having children when they are very young. It’s babies raising babies. Yes, this happens in the white community as well, but the federal government is not interested in finding out why white trash young men are also suspended/expelled from school. The emphasis is on black males so that’s what this article is about.
Young black males – where there is no father figure in the family household – are raised by women who cannot provide the type of emotional care that these young black males need. Instead, what they have been taught by the left to do is blame entrenched racism (white to black) for their problems. Instead of learning to take responsibility for their own actions, it has been drilled into them that the reason their kids have no black dads in the home is because of “white privilege,” or “white racism.” It’s not because these young women slept around, got pregnant and began giving birth to one kid after another at the taxpayer’s expense.
There is nothing in too many of these homes that places any real value on children. They are a commodity today, there to bring in a paycheck in the form of Welfare. Kids are left to fend for themselves and learn about life on the streets.
Judging from the videos above, it’s plain that blacks are getting the short end of the stick but it’s due SOLELY to the fact that it’s only the LEFT in America that wants to keep blacks down. It started officially with LBJ and his “great society” where he said that his plan would keep “n*ggers” voting Democrat for the next 100 years or so. Yep, a WHITE, leftwing, Democrat said that.
Today, President Obama along with his protegé Eric Holder carry that torch and here’s just one (of many) videos that prove it. I’ll leave you with it. Enjoy what the left has been doing and continues to do here in America, all the while blaming it on conservatives, patriots, right-wingers, and Tea Party people.
People need to wake up. Will they? Doubtful. We can hope, but it’s still doubtful. Black males are suspended more often than others because of how they are raised and the lies they are taught, often by many within their own community.
They are taught that it’s not their fault, but someone else’s and usually that someone else is white. They wind up having no respect for anyone, even other adult black males because they’re been “wronged” and are filled with suspicion and even hatred.
But now the federal government would like us all to believe that it’s due to entrenched and continuous racism from ALL white people toward blacks. This will only lead in one direction: reparations. I’ve said it before but it bears repeating that reparations will happen because the picture has been and continues to be painted (with more urgency today) that white privilege, white racism toward blacks, and the inequities and unfairness within society due to these things has created a caricature of black males that has become the norm.
President Obama and his administration are leading the way to start broaching the subject loudly and clearly that the only way to begin to heal “wounds” is through payouts to blacks. While they will tell us it won’t solve the problem (and it won’t), it needs to start there.
It will actually create more problems, but President Obama doesn’t care about that since that his end game anyway.
