President Trump Says He Would Consider Ron DeSantis as Running Mate If He Decides to Run for President in 2024

This is essentially a no-brainer ticket option if President Trump decides to run for the presidency in 2024.  During an interview with Stuart Varney on Fox Business, President Trump says he would definitely consider Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as a running mate should Trump decide to run again in 2024.

My suspicion of the shape of U.S. MAGA politics over the next two election cycles remains the same.  First, Governor DeSantis will win re-election easily next year.  Democrats will throw the Alinsky sink at him, but DeSantis is in a fantastic position for re-election; Democrats would be wasting their money… they know it.

Second, I still hold the outlook that President Trump is more likely to play the role of kingmaker in the MAGA GOP and endorse Ron DeSantis for President in 2024.  Always the showman and keeping people interested in GOP politics, which intentionally starves the Democrats from political oxygen, President Trump will likely tease this out for the next few years…. but ultimately I see an endorsement for DeSantis with a massive MAGA campaign led by Trump rallies as the final outcome.

If he chooses not to run himself, and a lot of that will be determined by the feedback he gets from the grassroots MAGA movement when the Trump rallies restart, President Trump can easily clear the road for DeSantis in 2024…. and keep clearing away any opposition to the “America First” policy objectives by being the ultimate weapon in the arsenal of DeSantis with direct confrontation toward any/all political opposition.

Appreciation and respect for our military service-members are at the cornerstone of the Treehouse.  Every day for over ten years we begin our daily prayers with our fallen national heroes in mind.   Through the years we have also lost veteran members who are part of the Treehouse family.  We have cried together, held time together and sometimes just quietly sat beside each-other to eliminate the loneliness…. No words needed.

However, we would also like the opportunity to share our appreciation this special weekend; and we want our veteran Treepers to know just how much they are valued and cherished.

Before we enter a day of solemn thoughtfulness and reflection, I would like to ask all military Treepers to stand and be recognized so that we may say “Thank You” this Memorial Day.  If you, or a member of your family past or present, is a member of the veteran community, or if you have lost someone close who was a veteran, please share a brief hello.

To the extent you are comfortable, please stand and be recognized in the comments section so that we may honor you and your family.

God Bless.

We love you…

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is a rising star in the republican party mostly for his MAGA alignment and steadfast approach toward common sense governance. DeSantis has been a great leader for the state of Florida and has nationwide recognition for his leadership style and fearless approach toward confronting the bias in media.

At 42-years-old with three kids DeSantis really does work tirelessly on behalf of his state. He is well known for traveling almost every day to meet people in every area of the state while conducting official state business. Grounded in pragmatic conservative principles the Florida governor has a firm commitment to individual reliance, freedom and liberty; this outlook has been clear in his approach toward the COVID crisis.

Yesterday Governor DeSantis held a townhall event at The Villages, and went into more details about both his personal perspectives and his outlook on current political issues that concern the voting electorate. The townhall event hosted by Newsmax is a great opportunity to get to know DeSantis.

Governor Ron DeSantis appeared on Fox News this morning to highlight the economic success of Florida during the COVID crisis.  As DeSantis notes because the state remained largely open the state did not need to touch its “Rainy Day Fund” to cover emergency expenses; and now the state is fully operational the revenues being generated are allowing the legislature to double the state emergency fund accounts.  All of this despite Florida having no income tax.

Additionally, DeSantis highlighted the growth in the state that allows the legislature to provide $1,000 bonuses to first responders; and introduces a new election reform bill recently passed by the state legislature, which he signed live on television.

The Wisconsin state legislature has passed a resolution authorizing an official investigation into the 2020 election in the badger state.  The resolution allows for evidence gathering and subpoena power for witness depositions.

Via Associated Press – MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Republican-controlled Wisconsin Assembly passed a resolution Tuesday to authorize an investigation into the 2020 presidential election that President Joe Biden narrowly won in the state.

The resolution, opposed by Democrats, is needed to give the committee authorization if it decides to issue subpoenas to compel testimony and gather documents, said Rep. Joe Sanfelippo. He is vice-chairman of the Assembly elections and campaign committee that would conduct the probe.

The resolution authorizing the investigation passed on a 58-35 party line vote, with all Republicans in support and all Democrats against. It passed after Republicans last month ordered an audit of the election results. (read more)

House Passes Two Bills Targeting Background Checks for Firearm Purchases

The House is determined to advance further gun control legislation as an action priority for Democrats.   Unfortunately eight republican House members are supportive of the Democrat effort to restrict gun ownership [HR8].

The republicans in the House who voted in support of the background check bills are: Vern Buchanan (R-FL-16), Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL-25), Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA-1), Will Hurd (R-TX-23), Peter T. King (R-NY-2), Brian Mast (R-FL-18), Chris Smith (R-NJ-4), and Fred Upton (R-MI-6).

WASHINGTON DC – […] “The first bill, [HR 8 HERE] which passed 227-203, is designed to close loopholes to ensure background checks are extended to private and online sales that often go undetected, including at gun shows. The legislation includes limited exceptions allowing temporary transfers to prevent imminent harm, for use at a target range and for gifts from family, among others.”

Specifically, it prohibits a firearm transfer between private parties unless a licensed gun dealer, manufacturer, or importer first takes possession of the firearm to conduct a background check.  The prohibition does not apply to certain firearm transfers, such as a gift between spouses in good faith.

The second bill, which passed 219-210, would extend the review period for background checks from three to 10 days. (more)

Texas End Mask Requirements & Opens Up Restaurants

Armstrong Economics Blog/Tyranny Re-Posted Mar 4, 2021 by Martin Armstrong

There is just no evidence whatsoever that masks do anything. When I went to the doctors last year they asked about COVID, I told them I did not know anyone with COVID. They said I could still catch it by pumping gas in my car. And when I bought a box of masks, they expressly stated that they will not prevent any disease.

Initially, Fauci spoke the truth that masks were useless. All the studies from the 1918 Spanish Flu confirmed that masks never worked and the Washington Post said they were “useless”. Everyone knows that the Post is so left they could never walk a straight line.

Fauci is just an outright liar. He has come out recently saying he can at last hug his daughter after a year because he got the vaccine last December. But that was more than two months ago. Why did he wait so long to hug his daughter? Nothing this guy says is ever trustworthy yet he knows the mainstream media will NEVER challenge him on anything. He has admitted lying to the New York Times because he kept raising the herd immunity level finally reaching 85%. They reported: “In a telephone interview the next day, Dr. Fauci acknowledged that he had slowly but deliberately been moving the goal posts.”

Now Biden has come out and said governors who relax restrictions are Neanderthals. This is not science. This is all political opinion and politicians now do not know how to get out of this trap they created to overthrow Trump and usher in the Great Reset with Biden promoting Klaus Schwab and his World Economic Forum’s “Build Back Better” Agenda 2030.

Mississippi and Texas Governors Finally End Mask Mandates and Open Businesses

..”If the public are bound to yield obedience to laws to which they cannot give their approbation, they are slaves to those who make such laws and enforce them.”..  ~Sam Adams

Hopefully this is the beginning of the end for red state nonsense as Governor Greg Abbott (Texas) and Governor Tate Reeves (Mississippi) finally take heed to what Florida and South Dakota have proven throughout the manipulative COVID panic.  Both Texas and Mississippi governors announce today they will drop the ridiculous mask mandates and open all businesses within their respective states.

♦ TEXAS – […]  Gov. Greg Abbott said Tuesday it’s time to “open Texas 100%” and end the statewide mask order, citing declining hospitalizations across the state as more people are vaccinated against the coronavirus.

Abbott issued a new executive order, which will take effect March 10 and rescind most of his earlier orders, including restrictions on business occupancy and the July 2 statewide mask order.  (read more)

The power of government comes from the people; or as we say in the U.S. “from the consent of the governed.” When people lead, the politicians are forced to follow. Without implied consent the municipal or state government has no power. None.

The power of the local, regional or state authority comes from the expressed consent of the people. As soon as the majority of people deny that consent, those officials and state authoritarians lose all of their power. Yes, it really is that simple.

♦ MISSISSIPPI –  JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – On Tuesday, Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves signed Executive Order 1549. The order will go into effect at 5:00 p.m. on March 3, 2021, and stay in effect until March 31.

“Today, I signed what I expect will be one of my last executive orders regarding COVID-19. Our hospitalizations have plummeted, and our case numbers have fallen dramatically as well. In fact, our case numbers have fallen to the point where no county meets the original criteria for a mask mandate,” said Reeves.

“I am replacing our current orders with recommendations. Everyone should continue to listen to Dr. Dobbs and other health advisors for the best possible wisdom regarding how you can personally stem any risk of catching COVID. Their insight is valuable. The only rules that will remain in this order are a capacity limit of 50% on indoor arenas, and those that govern K-12 schools.” (READ MORE)

The overwhelming majority of dictates around COVID-19 mitigation are not laws. There was no debate; no input from representative government; and no option for the public to weigh-in on the decisions.

All unilateral rules are arbitrary, and despite many proclamations to the contrary, they rely upon voluntary compliance. As soon as citizens no longer voluntarily comply, the term of the rules has expired.

Liberty is inherent.

The removal of liberty requires consent.
