The Telegraph has reported that Donald Trump was indeed the target of a suspected second assassination. The FBI has confirmed that Trump was the target. This took place when gunfire rang out at his Florida golf club. A man with an assault-style rifle pushed the firearm’s muzzle through the perimeter of his golf course in West Palm Beach. US Secret Service agents spotted the gunman and opened fire, prompting him to flee in an SUV, according to law enforcement officials. A suspect was later detained.

Look, yes, I warned that there may be another attempt to assassinate Trump. Historically, there have been as many as three attempts to assassinate presidents before. With the country so divided, I do not see how this is going to end nicely. The Neocons have so stirred up hatred against Trump that they have torn the unity of the nation apart to retain their power while they are simultaneously trying to start World War III before the election, allowing long-range missiles to be handed to Zelensky to try to destroy Moscow.

We have NOBODY in mainstream media who cares about the future. They are also so filled with bias and hatred that they have exposed the deepest, darkest, and most evil side of humanity. I fear that the computer will be correct. This 2024 election may indeed be the last.

UPDATE – President Trump is OKAY – FBI: “Attempted Assassination” Shots Fired Near President Trump at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach

The main point is that President Trump is okay and was not injured by gunfire that took place near his location at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach.  Details are freshly coming through.

UPDATE:  “ATTEMPTED ASSASSINATION”  A man with an AK-style rifle pointed the firearm’s muzzle into Donald Trump’s golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida, as the former president was playing a round, prompting the U.S. Secret Service to open fire, according to three law enforcement officials. (More AP Details Below)

The former president is safe and unharmed, and the FBI says it is investigating “what appears to be an attempted assassination” of the Republican presidential candidate.

The person dropped the weapon and fled in an SUV, and was later taken into custody in a neighboring county, the officials said. The officials were not authorized to discuss the ongoing investigation and spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.

An AK-style firearm was recovered at the scene near Trump International Golf Club West Palm Beach, two of the officials said. And no injuries were reported.

[…] The golf course was partially shut down for Trump as he played, and agents were a few holes ahead of him when they noticed the person with the firearm, the officials said. There are several areas around the perimeter of the property where golfers are visible from the fence line. Secret Service agents and officers in golf carts and on ATVs generally secure the area several holes ahead and behind Trump when he golfs. Agents also usually bring an armored vehicle onto the course to quickly shelter Trump should a threat arise.

[…] The former president has had a stepped-up security footprint since the assassination attempt in July. When he has been at Trump Tower in New York, a lineup of dump trucks have parked in a wall outside the building. And at outdoor rallies, he now speaks from behind an enclosure of bulletproof glass.

Trump was returned safely after the incident to his private Mar-a-Lago club, where he resides in neighboring Palm Beach, according to a person familiar with the matter.

The White House said President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee, had both been briefed and would be kept updated on the investigation. The White House added they were “relieved” to know Trump is safe.

[…] Martin County Sheriff William D. Snyder said the suspect was apprehended within minutes of the FBI, Secret Service and Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office putting out a “very urgent BOLO” — or “be on the lookout” alert” detailing the specific vehicle sought, license plate number and occupant description.

[…]  Snyder said his deputies “immediately flooded” northbound I-95, deploying to every exit between the Palm Beach County line to the south and St. Lucie County line to the north.

“One of my road patrol units saw the vehicle, matched the tag and we set up on the vehicle,” Snyder said, “We pinched in on the car, got it safely stopped and got the driver in custody.”

Snyder told WPTV that the suspect “was not armed when we took him out of the car.”

The man had a calm, flat demeanor and showed little emotion when he was stopped by police, Snyder said, saying the suspect did not question why he was being pulled over.

“He never asked, ‘what is this about?’ Obviously, law enforcement with long rifles, blue lights, a lot going on. He never questioned it,” Snyder said. (read more)

The full briefing video is below.  There are also preliminary pictures of the suspect.  I would note the nervousness of the FBI agent in charge.

Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw: Secret Service was able to spot a rifle sticking out of the bushes and fired on the suspect some 300-400 yards away.

In the bushes where the suspect ran from, the Secret Service or law enforcement found an AK-47-style rifle with a scope, 2 backpacks that had ceramic tile at them, and a GoPro for taking photos.

Bradshaw also says he has photos of everything that they will release. Bradshaw: “Fortunately, we were able to locate a witness that came to us and said, “Hey, I saw the guy running out of the bushes, he jumped into a black Nissan, and I took a picture of the vehicle and the tags, which was great.” Said the Secret Service agent who spotted this and opened fire did a “fantastic job.”

Police ran the license plate, and they tracked the vehicle on 1-95. The Martin County Sheriff’s Office, alerted him, and they spotted the vehicle, pulled it over and detained the guy. The witness then identified the person that he saw running out of the bushes and jumped into the car.

Secret Service representative uttered this statement: He thanked the Palm Beach sheriff’s office and the Martin County Sheriff’s Office for their involvement. Former President Donald Trump is safe and unharmed following a protective incident shortly before 2 pm on Sunday at Trump International Golf Club at West Palm Beach. The U.S. Secret Service personnel opened fire on a gunman located near the property line. And this matter is under investigation.

The suspect wanted in connection to the gunshots fired near Trump National Golf Club has been caught, according to Martin County Sheriff William D. Snyder.

Breaking news from Fox reveals that the suspect in the alleged assassination attempt on Trump has been identified as Ryan Wesley Routh.
