Hansen’s 2001 paper exposed how NOAA and NASA massively corrupt the US temperature record. The image below shows the various steps of data tampering..

Before they start tampering with data, 47% of US rural stations cooled from 1900 to 1999, and 42% warmed. But after NOAA and NASA were done hacking the data, only 22% of stations were cooling and 69% were warming. They effectively contaminated rural stations with urban data.

Similar story for urban stations. After adjusting for UHI, the US apparently gets hotter. Note that after contaminating the rural data with urban data, both rural and urban stations appear nearly identical at 67-69% warming.

As awful as this 2001 data tempering was, they have continued to tamper with it since the 2001 paper was written. This graph shows the additional hockey stick of data tampering. Particularly note the spike after 1990, and hiding the warmth of the 1930s and 1940s.

Winter snow cover in the Northern Hemisphere has been rapidly expanding since 1997, and is at record levels. The snow line is moving further south every winter, due to Arctic air intruding further south.

A new study says the previous estimates of sea level rise from Antarctic ice sheet melt/collapse may underestimate the effect.

Temperatures have been below normal in 75% the US since October 1, 2013, with the average departure being -1.29 degrees.

But it is worse than it seems. Most of the 25% percent above normal has been barely above normal, while the 75% below normal has been generally much below normal. The next graph shows percentage area weighted by the deviation.

It isn’t warming up, either. 75% of the US has also been below normal temperature this month.

He held up one die representing the climate for the period 1950-1980. Two sides were white for an average summer, and two other sides were blue for colder-than-average summers. The other two sides were red for hotter-than-average summers. Thus, on a roll of the die for that period, there were two chances in six of having a hot summer at any given location in the country.

According to NOAA, the US is experiencing a just below average temperature year – despite the fact that their own thermometer data shows 2014 as one of the coldest on record.

Here is another proxy which demonstrates that their claims are incorrect. The ratio of record daily minimums to record daily maximums in the US is the second highest since 1930. Only 1993 was higher, and that was due to volcanic dust from Mt. Pinatubo  blocking the sun.
