The odds of a brokered Democrat convention have increased significantly after a big win by Joe Biden in South Carolina; not as much because of the vote result, but more as an outcome of watching how the Club coalesced the background narrative.

As a result of his overwhelming win in the palmetto state Joe Biden now has more primary votes cast for him than Sanders. At this moment, Biden is winning the popular vote.

With Bloomberg’s fatally flawed debate performances helping to move the non-Bernie voters toward Joe Biden; and with the fingerprints of the party apparatus visible in the way South Carolina rolled out; it is clear Biden is now the DNC Club’s preferred candidate to stop Bernie ‘Fidel‘ Sanders.

Most of the thirteen Super Tuesday states will likely be significant wins for Fidel Sanders.  California and Texas will provide major delegates toward his primary effort, and he will likely receive additional delegates from strong finishes in every state he doesn’t win.  However, Biden is now going to be pushed hard, and financially fueled by the Club apparatus.

As the Club begins to put the players into position, Senator Amy Klobuchar will stay in the race until after her home state of Minnesota votes Tuesday to keep Bernie from additional lift.  Amy will likely endorse Biden on Wednesday.  Buttigieg soon thereafter.  The Club officers, or the DNC establishment per se’, will put pressure on all club members.

Mini-mike Bloomberg has structured his entire campaign around Super-Tuesday; however, it now looks like $500+ million wasted.  When and how Bloomberg concedes defeat to Biden is a matter for Club negotiation.  Club leadership will start executing the media messaging now, the rough outline was visible in the Biden victory speech.

Biden will take the passive-aggressive lane and claim the morality message, painting himself as the arbiter of decency.  Media will fall-in line.  The Club and peers will paint Bernie as a divisive candidate with violent and vitriolic tendencies.  Any act of aggression, verbally or visibly by Bernie supporters, will be used to amplify that narrative.  That baseline plays short-term against Fidel Sanders and long-term against President Trump.

A divisive Bernie narrative, built upon the image of toxicity, is needed for a DNC convention where the Socialist wing will come to the convention with a great deal of delegates.  Positioning the Sanders coalition as extreme and incapable of governing will play well for the votes of the Super-delegates who could ultimately decide the nominee.

Jane Sanders is likely scrolling real estate websites book-marking options for the opulent retreat they will select to heal their wounded sensibilities; while still controlling the direction of an oblivious progressive caucus…. Socialism at its most predictable outcome.

The Club is really good with manipulative astroturf tactics.  I wouldn’t be surprised to see some remarkable DNC schemes deployed against the Sanders campaign in March, April and May.  The DNC four-day convention is scheduled for Milwaukee Wisconsin July 13th-16th.

It should be noted that Wisconsin is the home of a large radical population, and the DNC convention; a battle for the heart of the Democrat party; will be taking place on the home turf of some of the most angry & organized Bernie Sanders supporters in the country.

Billionaire Tom Steyer has quit the Democrat race for president after spending $200+ million in South Carolina, more than $250 million overall, and coming in a distant third place without a single delegate.

(Via NBC) – Tom Steyer, the California activist billionaire who has largely been a nonfactor in the Democratic primary campaign, dropped out of the race on Saturday night.

Steyer’s departure came after a disappointing finish in the South Carolina Democratic primary. With 56 percent of the vote in, Steyer had just 11.7 percent of the vote — despite spending millions of dollars on campaigning there. (read more)

Polls close 7:00pm ET today in South Carolina for the important Democrat presidential primary contest.  The state is seen as a must win for Joe Biden; and if successful, his future viability will be measured by the size of the victory. A narrow win won’t put voter doubts to rest, but a double-digit win will signal to The Club that he’s back in it.

Candidates must win 15 percent of South Carolina votes to get any of the 54 delegates. If the polling was accurate Buttigieg, Warren, Klobuchar and Steyer could be locked out.

Former Mayor Michael Bloomberg is not on the ballot; however, mini-mike’s prospects of success going into Super Tuesday hinge on Biden failing.  Bloomberg and Biden represent The Club’s best hope to head-off Bernie Sanders.  But Fidel Sanders is well positioned.

If Fidel wins South Carolina any hope of stopping him from the nomination is lost.

Well, it might not exactly be the best endorsement for the American political aspirations of Bernie Sanders but the official communist propaganda outlet in Cuba, Granma, is heaping high praise upon Bernie “Fidel” Sanders for his support for the communist regime.

Miami Herald – Granma, the Communist Party newspaper, prominently displayed a report about Sanders and his praise of “some of the social programs implemented by the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro.”

“U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders, today one of the strongest candidates for the nomination of the Democratic Party to the November presidential elections, recognized Cuba’s role in sending doctors worldwide,” Granma said. (more)

[You can read the communist praise here] Meanwhile, in directly related news, Bernie Sanders has plummeted to third place in the latest poll of Florida Democrats.  Early voting is underway and election day is March 17th.

The Florida poll shows Biden surging ahead with 35% as support for Bloomberg and Sanders has collapsed in the past ten days.

After Bloomberg displayed his unlikable disposition he immediately dropped to 25%.  And the latest Bernie Sanders display of support for communist Fidel Castro has collapsed the Vermont senator to 13%.

Early voting is underway in Florida and about a third of voters have now cast their ballot.  That means Biden is very likely to win Florida far ahead of Bloomberg and a very distant Bernie will slide even further down in the final results.

Former Vice President Joe Biden is back on top in Florida.

That’s according to the latest survey from St. Pete Polls, which shows Biden with 34% support among likely Democratic primary voters. Former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg slipped to second place with 25% support.

That’s a change from the previous two versions of the St. Pete Polls survey, which showed Bloomberg had taken the lead. A mid-February version had Bloomberg eclipsing Biden in the Sunshine State for the first time. (link)

Mini-mike Bloomberg is viable for the Club if they can run him as a candidate that no-one has to actually see, hear, or get to know…. However, after two debates with Bloomberg included, his support is dropping like a rock.

Bloomberg is not on the ballot Saturday in South Carolina, and the latest Monmouth Pollshows people jumping back to support Joe Biden.  [Data Link]

Monmouth’s Patrick Murray is a well known Big Club pollster.  According to his construct the Club’s blitzkrieg on Fidel Sanders paid off. However, once people got to see the Clubs’ alternative, Bloomberg, the voter aversion to mini-mike ended up with a retreat to support Biden; at least in South Carolina.

Going into Super Tuesday Bernie’s coalition might be slightly smaller than before the Club started the sunlight upon his radical assembly; but the support level is enough to keep him as frontrunner.  Bernie is the candidate for the Occupy Wall Street, Antifa, Socialists and Revolutionary Communist groups within the Democrat party.  While the ‘never-bernie’ voting block is even more fractured over five candidates.

Bloomberg, Biden, Buttigieg, Warren, Klobuchar and to a lesser extent Steyer, are all splitting the ‘never-bernie’ bloc.   The Club’s hope for Bloomberg has diminished as more democrat voters see him in action and his support drops.  Conversely, as Bloomberg support drops Biden support increases, but not enough to surpass Bernie.

South Carolina may be a boost for Biden heading into Super Tuesday; a worse case scenario for those who built the Bloomberg roadmap.

It is still too soon to say a brokered convention is most likely; and it will be after Super Tuesday when that possibility can be best considered; however, it does look like the odds of a brokered convention are increasing.

Tonight at 8:00pm ET the fifth Democrat presidential debate will take place in Charleston, South Carolina. The debate is sponsored by CBS and will broadcast on CBS networks.

The debate will include: former Vice President Joe Biden; former New York Mayor Mini-Mike Bloomberg; former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg; Senator Bernie Sanders, Senator Elizabeth Warren, Senator Amy Klobuchar and billionaire Tom Steyer.

There will be no opening or closing statements, but all candidates will get a closing question. Candidates will have one minute and 15 seconds to answer direct questions and 45 seconds for rebuttals.

CBS anchor Norah O’Donnell and CBS pundit Gayle King will moderate the debate; with additional questioning by “Face the Nation” moderator Margaret Brennan, chief Washington correspondent Major Garrett and “60 Minutes” correspondent Bill Whitaker.
