Bank of England Cuts Interest Rates

The Bank of England has cut its base interest rate to 4%, even as it warns of rising inflation. “We’ve cut interest rates today, but it was a finely balanced decision. Interest rates are still on a downward path, but any future cuts will need to be made gradually and carefully,” Governor Andrew Bailey stated.

The nine-member panel of the Monetary Policy Committee voted to lower rates by 0.25 percentage points, but failed to reach a unanimous vote with four members wishing to pause and another voting for a cut. The committee initially began with a 0.5 percentage point vote before reducing it to 0.25, marking the first time the MPC has needed a second vote—no one knows what they are doing.

The bank lowered rates but admitted that headline inflation is expected to hit 4% in September, up from the initial 3.75% estimate. Households are already spending one-tenth of their income on food, yet the bank expects food inflation to spike to 5.5% this year.

The central bank attempted to blame grocery store employee wages for price increases. “Furthermore, overall labour costs of supermarkets are likely to have been disproportionately affected by the lower threshold at which employers start paying NICs… these material increases in labour costs are likely to have pushed up food prices.” Every nation is facing a sharp upturn in food prices and store employees are not the culprit. The bank also acknowledged that unemployment has risen for five consecutive months, with unemployment reaching a four-year high in May 2025 at 4.7%.

The central bank cannot fight inflation as consumer demand is not driving price increases. Russian sanctions, net zero insanity, regulation, taxes, and an overall decline in public confidence have led Britain to decline. Let us not forget the looming sovereign debt crisis that every central bank is attempting to ignore publicly. Starmer is steering the nation directly into war, which never benefits the people and will become the primary culprit of inflation in time. The central bank cannot control fiscal policy; it cannot control inflation—all it can do is pretend to have a grasp on the situation to quell panic.

William Barr Involved in Illegal Visa Scheme

Posted originally on Aug 8, 2025 by Martin Armstrong |

Former Attorney General Bill Barr shouted from his high horse that NO ONE WAS ABOVE THE LAW after the events of January 6, thereafter attempting to prosecute Trump for RICO charges. Barr himself failed to realize that he was not above the law–Project Veritas has revealed he was operating an illegal visa scheme for foreign billionaires.

Patrícia Lelis, a former journalist at Howard Stirk Holdings (HSH), admitted she was involved in the scheme orchestrated by political commentator Armstrong Williams and Barr. Intelligence agencies attempted to pin the crime on Lelis, who later revealed to Project Veritas the true nature of the scheme.

Wealthy foreigners wishing to secure visas and bypass the immigration process would reach out to Williams or Barr, offering hundreds of thousands if not millions in exchange for E-2 visas. These visas were created under the premise that the foreigners were creating businesses in the US. Not only did these people never work for the companies on record, but the companies never existed in the first place.

Lelis claims she reported directly to Democratic New York assembly member Clyde Vanel. Williams and Barr demanded that Lelis use her personal bank accounts to launder the money. While Armstrong may have been the mastermind, Barr’s reputation and connections helped them to expedite the visa process.

Barr William Attorney General

Project Veritas attempted to visit the headquarters of Reis Cosmetics, a company created through this scheme, only to find a vacant building. Lelis grew weary of the increasing amount of money she was expected to launder, and reported the crime to the FBI. Instead of investigating, the FBI attempted to pin the entire operation on Lelis.

Text messages sent on burner phones confirm Lelis’s claims. “It is far more easy to defraud the immigration system and the government more than the people think,” she stated. “And I have proof of that because that’s what Armstrong and Bill Barr does.” The US government does not check if people are truly operating or working for companies once the visa process is approved. A leak in the system has been revealed.

The government will need to independently verify the claims that were brought to the public sphere on August 7. These are substantial crimes—visa fraud, conspiracy to commit visa fraud, wire fraud, aggravated identity theft, money laundering, and false statements or obstruction of justice. Lelis may also bring civil charges against the men who began to threaten her when she refused to participate.

Barr has committed blatant RICO violations through his criminal activity. Barr accused Trump of violating RICO laws, all while he was running an underground visa scheme to help wealthy foreigners gain illegal entry into the United States.

US Treasury to Print $500 Bills?

Posted originally on Aug 7, 2025 by Martin Armstrong |

500dollarbillUSD

Rumors are circulating that the United States may begin to print $500 bills. The US Bureau of Engraving and Printing began printing $500 bills in 1861 until 1945, formally discontinuing them in 1969 when Nixon moved to close the gold window. The US Treasury has since required banks to send all $500 bills back to them to be destroyed, as the government claimed higher-denominated notes paved the way for criminal activity.

Collectors know that the US Treasury issued $1,000, $5,000, $10,000, and even $100,000 notes once upon a time. The $100,000 bill featured President Woodrow Wilson and was issued as a gold certificate from 1934 to 1935. That particular bill was not publicly circulated. No citizen needed to use such currency in day-to-day transactions. The $10,000 note was primarily used for transactions between domestic Federal Reserve Banks, as digitalization had not yet occurred, and they needed an efficient way to move capital.

The rumors about the $500 bill’s revival are not wholly unfounded. Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) introduced a bill in 2024 to reintroduce the $500 bill, replacing William McKinley’s image with Donald Trump’s. This was more than political pandering; besides, Congress would certainly never approve of a note featuring Donald Trump’s image. However, the government could be enticed to reintroduce higher-denominated notes due to INFLATION. This is precisely why the penny will be discontinued, as it represents absolutely nothing and is a reminder that our currency is becoming increasingly devalued.

10000dollarbillUSD

A new $500 bill would mirror historical currency debasement as we saw in Rome under Diocletian, for example, which comes before a collapse. Printing higher-denomination notes is not just a reflection of price increases, but a sign that the people are losing trust in the value of the USD. Now, even the highest-denominated cash note will not get one far, paving the way for digitization as cash becomes an inconvenient burden. If the US were not eager to digitize banking, we would undoubtedly see higher-denominated notes in circulation once again to mask the effects that inflation has had on the value of the dollar.

America has never canceled its currency, and all of these notes are still deemed legal tender, although they are far more valuable to collectors than their face value. The Federal Reserve does not currently have plans to print the $500 bill despite rumors. The goal is to move the nation to digital currency, and cash is becoming increasingly worthless in transactions. Still, providing a limited-edition $500 note would not be unheard of in today’s economic landscape.

Four EU Nations Announce $1 Billion Arms Deal with US

The European Union pivoted its stance on US defense as soon as the funds began to flow to Ukraine again. Although leaders like Macron and Merz previously warned against relying on the US for aerospace and defense, four EU nations have announced a $1 billion arms deal with the US through a new initiative devised by the US and NATO.

It’s either that or leave Ukraine without weapons,” one NATO official, speaking on condition of anonymity as they aren’t authorized to speak on the record, told RFE/RL in regard to purchasing from the US. “I think on the European side there is a hard realization that this has to happen in some fashion or another.” This comes after the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, an alliance of 50 nations, held a virtual meeting at the end of July to decide how they would continue funding the proxy war.

The Dutch government agreed to spend around $576 million on US Patriot missile defense systems for Ukraine. Sweden, Denmark, and Norway plan to spend another $500 million on American defense collectively. “By supporting Ukraine with determination, we are increasing the pressure on Russia to negotiate,” Dutch Defence Minister Ruben Brekelmans posted on X. “The more Russia dominates Ukraine, the greater the danger to the Netherlands and our NATO allies,” he said. Continually arming the opponent is not going to open the door to peace negotiations. It only alerts Russia that it must continue fighting for the foreseeable future, as this war is NOT against Ukraine but against the entire NATO alliance.

Swedish Defence Minister Pal Jonson said his nation plans to offer $275 million toward the deal. “Ukraine is not only fighting for its own security, but also for our security,” Jonson declared. Of course, all of this spending of public funds is being done under the premise of national security. European governments are lying to their people. They know Russia has no plans or desire to invade Europe, as there is nothing to gain by doing so.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, the former Dutch prime minister, praised the northern European nations for their willingness to invest. “Since the earliest days of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Denmark, Norway and Sweden have been steadfast in their support for Ukraine. I commend these allies for their quick efforts to get this initiative off the ground,” Rutte said in a statement. As a reminder, all NATO members must up their spending to 5% of GDP, although they previously could not even meet the 2% target.

Santa Claus Mask

These deals will now go through the Priority Ukraine Requirements List (PURL), created by NATO and the US. Basically, Ukraine writes a list for Santa, or in this case, the US, listing its most requested weapons of choice. NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) then approves of the wish list and tells US manufacturers to deliver Ukraine anything it desires. The Netherlands’ half-billion-dollar purchase was the first gift basket to go through this program.

PURL plans to send $10 billion worth of American-manufactured arms to Ukraine. But the US is not Santa, and there are no elves creating weapons. Lockheed Martin and Raytheon are increasing their production of Patriot missiles, following Rutte’s suggestion that NATO nations will supply Ukraine with at least 17. NATO nations are required to pay upfront for their gifts to Ukraine to bypass the typical US arms sales process. The taxpayers did not vote to send $10 billion to Ukraine, but NATO and EU nations are beholden to unelected bureaucrats who dictate the rules.

Japan to Build Australia’s New Warships

Posted originally on Aug 7, 2025 by Martin Armstrong |

Australia has tapped Japan to begin building its next fleet of warships as the nation retires the ANZAC-class fleet. Japanese shipbuilder Mitsubishi Heavy Industries beat German manufacturer ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems as Japan’s Mogami frigate was more desirable than the German MEKO A-200. This is a landmark win for Japan as it marks the first time Japan has exported warships to a foreign nation.

The first 11 frigates alone are worth at least 10 billion Australian dollars ($6.5 billion USD). Japan will produce the first three ships domestically before building a facility in Australia to create the rest. Australia has exclusive access to the first Mogami warships. The 4,800-tonne Mogami carriers are faster than their German rival’s at a speed of 30 knots and has a range of 10,000 nautical miles. The ANZAC-class ship required a crew of 170 compared to the frigate’s need for only 90 personnel, maximizing operational efficiency.

“The upgraded Mogami is built in a way that makes it easy to customise depending on the owner’s order — the power setting and the space design are different from the original one, so the ship is ready to cater to any requests coming from the Australian government,” ATLA official Koji Nishimura stated. “From the very first phase of the project, I thought about the benefit for Australia and for the Japanese Maritime Self-Defence Force, because of that we formed an all-Japan team — with Ministry of Defence working as a team to make this project happen,” he added.

“This is clearly the biggest defence industry agreement that will ever have been struck between Japan and Australia. In fact, it’s really one of the biggest defence exports that Japan has ever engaged in,” Defence Minister Richard Marles said

This is a huge win for Japan as they have not previously had a heavy role in defense exports. The deal will show the world if Japanese manufacturers can reliably enter the sector and begin exerting its geopolitical power. Domestic defense is a matter of survival for Japan but now it has the ability to share its elite manufacturing capacities with the world.

The US supported Japan’s bid because it plans to use American-made components and comes equipped to carry American-made missiles specifically. The European Union has been back and forth on whether it wants to continue purchasing military equipment from America. Germany’s loss is a big hit to its already contracting manufacturing sector, as the nation was once the go-to for industrial exports. Japan is not beholden to unelected officials who could sway policy and, therefore, trade.

Kremlin Embraces India Amid US Economic Warfare

Posted originally on Aug 6, 2025 by Martin Armstrong |

PutinandModi

Economic warfare is dismantling free trade and turning friends into foes. This has nothing to do with trade tariffs, as the issue is the tariffs we are placing on nations for the sole purpose of political policy. The US is threatening India with sanctions if it continues to purchase Russian oil, and the Kremlin is using that to its advantage.

“We believe that sovereign countries should have, and have the right to choose their own trade partners, partners in trade and economic cooperation. And to choose those trade and economic cooperation regimes that are in the interests of a particular country,” Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated.

Around 35% to 40% of India’s crude oil now comes from Russia as the nation began drastically increasing its purchases when the Ukraine-Russia-NATO war began, since Russian crude was cheaper than what the Middle Eastern nations were charging. India has heavily profited from this deal, but the US would have done the exact same thing if it were in India’s position. The Trump Administration believes free trade is only free and fair if it directly benefits the United States.

“The targeting of India is unjustified and unreasonable. Like any major economy, India will take all necessary measures to safeguard its national interests and economic security,” India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) commented. “It is noteworthy that those nations criticizing India are themselves engaging in trade with Russia. In contrast to our situation, their trade does not constitute a critical national necessity.” The MEA also noted that the US and its allies reached out to India to purchase oil amid shortages that they themselves created. There is a clear double standard here that is making America look a bit foolish.

“India is not only buying massive amounts of Russian Oil, they are then, for much of the Oil purchased, selling it on the Open Market for big profits. They don’t care how many people in Ukraine are being killed by the Russian War Machine. Because of this, I will be substantially raising the Tariff paid by India to the USA,” Donald Trump stated online, openly stating that these new tariffs are intended to shape India’s trade policy. Furthermore, Trump said India was “not a good trade partner” and dismissed the billions in trade between the two.

This arrogant stance is pushing India out of neutrality and into the arms of the Kremlin. There is nothing diplomatic about calling your trade partner worthless on the public stage and then bullying them with sanctions into changing their foreign policy. Trump has also been threatening economic warfare against nations that oppose Israel. I do not know who is currently surrounding Trump and permitting him to carry out these disastrous policies. Let us not forget that India is also a nuclear superpower—we do not want to turn India into an enemy nation.

The Rare Earth Elements Crisis – Why isn’t America Digging in Ukraine?

Posted originally on Aug 6, 2025 by Martin Armstrong |

MINERALS.Ukraine Mineral Resources_Site_Elements

America is desperate for rare earth minerals. China was supplying the US with around 70% of all such minerals, but they’re not going to supply them to an enemy nation to create weapons. As I mentioned yesterday, this is precisely why America is desperate to access Ukraine. I received a few comments asking why the US has not begun digging, and unfortunately, they are unable to reach those crucial minerals due to the ongoing war.

It is estimated that Ukraine holds 5% of the world’s critical raw materials. Ukrainian officials believe they have 19 million tonnes of graphite reserves and significant deposits of titanium, rare earth metals, and lithium. The current plan would require harvesting up to HALF of Ukraine’s minerals and rare earth materials.

On April 30, 2025, Ukraine and the US finalized a minerals deal and established a United States–Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund. Congress approved a $50 million defense package to Ukraine through direct commercial sales (DCS). Trump is a businessman first and foremost—the mineral deal had to be approved before he would approve of any aid package. The United States now has preferential rights to extract minerals from Ukraine.

Why hasn’t the US begun digging? An estimated 50% of Ukrainian minerals are in areas under Russian control. The Donbas region, the Donetsk and Luhansk are rich in critical minerals, rare earth minerals, coal, and gas. They host the Shevchenko lithium field. Russia currently controls 40% of Ukraine’s metal resources and 56% of its coal reserves. Other essential sites are within a 10-mile radius of occupied enemy territory. Dnipropetrovsk & Kharkiv have uranium, but they are unstable due to frontline advances. Zaporizhzhia has the rare earth elements that America is seeking but it is partially occupied by Russian troops and extremely dangerous. Central and Western Ukraine could be safe for extractions, but they are far less rich in minerals.

MineralsUkraine

Where else can the West turn? Europe faces the same crisis. Estonia has rare minerals, but not enough to meet demand, with the nation currently providing the US with 5% of its needs. Malaysia imports about 13% of US rare earth imports, with Japan providing another 6%. Japan has minerals, but still imports from China. They plan to begin extracting rare earth minerals from the Minami-Torishima Island in 2026, marking the world’s first large-scale mining operation 6,000 meters beneath the ocean. Scientists believe that the area could contain around 16 million tonnes of rare earth elements, but that is a mere estimate. Malaysia has a low mineral reserve in comparison to other nations and cannot be an alternative supplier. Malaysia hosts the Lynas Corporation, the biggest rare earths processor outside China, but the nation has modest reserves.

So while Ukraine may hold nearly $15 trillion worth of crucial minerals and 15% of the world’s reserves, they cannot be accessed due to the ongoing war. China and Russia are abundant in minerals and have no restrictions when it comes to weapon production. China has pioneered molten salt reactors to produce uranium and convert it into nuclear energy. America’s enemies have a notable advantage right now and there are no reliable alternatives.

Bureau of Labor Statistics Data has ALWAYS Been Problematic

Posted originally on Aug 6, 2025 by Martin Armstrong |

Erika McEntarfer, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) commissioner, has been fired by President Donald Trump due to the weak jobs report. Trump accused the Biden-appointee of manipulating jobs data “for political purposes” and claimed the numbers were “rigged.”

McEntarfer was appointed as the Commissioner of Labor Statistics in January 2024, but the numbers were indeed rigged long ago. There should have been a serious shake-up at the BLS when the agency admitted it fabricated one-third of the newly created jobs in 2023.

At the time, the BLS claimed that conditions had changed too rapidly for them to calculate the number of jobs accurately. “By the time you include all the monthly revisions and the annual benchmark revision, about one-quarter of all the jobs we thought were added last year have been revised away,” E.J. Antoni, a research fellow at the Heritage Foundation’s Grover M. Hermann Center for the Federal Budget, told the DCNF. “That pattern of consistent downward revisions has happened in two prior recessions. It is a result of market conditions changing too rapidly for the BLS to adjust its methodology, which in turn causes consistent errors in measuring nonfarm payrolls.”

The BLS has continually tailored its method for calculating employment. One of the key surveys used is the Current Population Survey (CPS), which is a monthly survey of households conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau for the BLS. The unemployment rate is calculated as the number of unemployed individuals divided by the labor force, multiplied by 100. BLS creates occupational employment projections in a product called the National Employment Matrix, which describes the employment of detailed occupations within detailed wage and salary categories, including those who are self-employed or employed by a private household. The BLS also develops participation rate projections using data from the CPS conducted by the Census Bureau. So there is inaccurate data coming from multiple places.

In 2023, the agency made changes to its calculations, including the implementation of a new weight smoothing procedure for state and metropolitan area employment data. They have recalculated this figure for Q1 of 2024 and checked back to see if the numbers were where they wanted them to be.

accounting numbers

The agency also claims its statistical calculations are subject to a widening difference between preliminary and final releases. They say that the 10 to 16-day range between data collection prevents businesses from accurately reporting, and many employers who pay monthly instead of biweekly miss the deadline entirely. The BLS stated that its average rate of collection begins at 68.3%, advances to 89% for the second publication, and rises to 92.8% by the third revision.

The BLS publishes the Business Employment Dynamics (BED) census as well on a quarterly basis. The sample size is 12 million or 17 times the size of the monthly nonfarm payrolls report. Now, the BLS also releases a quarterly census report on employment and wages. The BLS determines its annual benchmark by comparing these varying reports and reevaluating its monthly estimates. Every March, the BLS looks at the Current Employment Statistics, or CES, survey, and looks at administrative records of employees covered by Unemployment Insurance (UI). Around 97% of employment falls under the CES scope, and the remaining 3% is analyzed by looking at County Business Patterns or other sources like the Railroad Retirement Board. The March survey determines the “universe” count and adjusts the prior year’s monthly estimates, recalibrating the data to match the universe figure.

NonFarmPayrolls.Aug24

(August 2024 revision)

Why bother to release inaccurate data before the figure is beyond a passing grade? I explained in May that the BLS revised its data so significantly that it was forced to admit Bidenomics FAILED and the job market contracted under the Biden Administration, despite the agency claiming jobs were abundant. We live in an age where data collection is power—the United States government has the ability to track absolutely everyone and everything. Yet, they somehow drastically miss the mark when it comes to reporting on jobs. One person cannot be blamed for the gross inaccuracy of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which has become nothing more than a tool to manipulate public perception.

Mercury BANNED in US Vaccines

Posted originally on Aug 5, 2025 by Martin Armstrong |

Child Vaccine

HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s next step toward making America Healthy again is an outright ban on thimerosal, a mercury-based preservative, found in common vaccines. “I’m proud to finally deliver on a long-overdue promise: protecting our most vulnerable from unnecessary mercury exposure,” Kennedy stated on a video posted on X, noting that the chemical is a known neurotoxin that has been administered to millions of Americans.

The former director of the FDA, Willian Egan, admitted in 2001 that the safety of this preservative had never been studied. The government simply allowed the pharmaceutical agencies to incorporate it in vaccines to extend their shelf lives. PubMed and PubChem, as Kennedy stated, have published countless peer-reviewed studies citing thimerosal as a known carcinogen and neurotoxin. The FDA has a clear understanding that this chemical can cause reproductive issues. They are also aware that the chemical is linked to mild to severe retardation, autism, and/or motor skill impairment in children, but children are encouraged to take the vaccine to stop the spread. One study found that women had a 7.7x greater chance of miscarriage if they received the common flu vaccine while pregnant, but pregnant women are still encouraged to take the vaccination. “They had the science but chose to ignore it,” Kennedy announced. Every agency was aware that this was an ongoing danger to the public for decades. In fact, the current amount of mercury found in the common flu vaccination is 25,000 times over the EPA’s current safety level for drinking water.

These chemicals are so hazardous that they are required to be disposed of in special landfills for hazardous waste, and yet, we were permitting the pharmaceutical agencies to inject these toxins into our bodies and convincing the public that they must blindly take the vaccine for the greater good of society. No one has been allowed to comment on the dangers despite the various studies that warn against its use in humans.

VAXXED

Why is this controversial? As Kennedy stated, he has been attempting to ban mercury from fish, but no one has deemed him “anti-fish.” Anti-vax or any skepticism regarding vaccinations has been deemed a threat to the government, as the people should not question their guidance, or they will be labeled a crazed conspiracist.

This chemical was known to cause harm in humans, but it helped big pharma to increase its bottom line. It is simply a preservative with ZEO benefits. Kennedy’s declaration comes weeks after Bill Gates invested another $1.6 billion into the GAVI vaccine alliance program. The World Health Organization (WHO), UNICEF, the World Bank, vaccine manufacturers, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation are all responsible for the GAVI program and they have already vaccinated 760 million children worldwide. Bill Gates happens to be the foundation’s largest donor, already contributing $7.7 billion to the cause. The European Union recently partnered with Gates to contribute funding toward GAVI as well, since all the Build Back Better nations believe in the outdated science.

Now, the only reason thimerosal is controversial is that it puts government authority into question. “The science” is never wrong, allegedly. The people should not think independently or question their overlords when they deem health precautions necessary. It’s for the greater good of the public, so they say. Yet, the public already lost trust in the government long ago, and the fallout from COVID completely dismantled any remaining trust the people had in “the science.” Kennedy’s work could actually encourage vaccinations as the people now demand transparency from their government.

Yet, vaccinations are the least of our troubles now as the government is plotting a swifter demise for the masses through warfare.

America’s Golden Dome

The United States is preparing to launch the Golden Dome project, a large-scale missile defense system to actively shield the nation against all threats by space, land, and sea. Inspired by Israel’s Iron Dome system and Reagan’s historic Strategic Defense Initiative, the Golden Dome would be the largest missile defense system in American history.

Donald Trump first proposed the idea in January 2025, but plans are underway to complete the project by the end of Trump’s second term. “They want a win to point to in November [2028],” a defense official told CNN. “And DoD [Department of Defense] wants to avoid anything they perceive will slow them down.”

The official called the proposed defense system “technically risky” due to the number of satellites required to achieve success. Space Force Gen. Michael Guetlein commented, “I think the real technical challenge will be building of the space-based interceptor. That technology exists, I believe. I believe we have proven every element of the physics, that we can make it work. What we have not proven is, first, can I do it economically, and then second, can I do it at scale? Can I build enough satellites to get after the threat? Can I expand the industrial base fast enough to build those satellites?” The Missile Defense Agency, expected to be called FTI-X for Flight Test Integrated, has plans to begin testing the system in 2028.

The project will cost the United States $175 billon dollars, or at least that is the extremely low figure the White House is stating. The $25 billion down payment was allocated under the Big Beautiful Bill spending package, but the government currently estimates it will take 20 years to pay the bill in its entirety. Some predictions state the costs could spike into the trillions if the project evolves and new technology is required.

GoldenDome.Russia.China_.JointStatement

Trump was unable to secure a tiny fraction of that amount to build a border wall during his first term, but he may achieve success this time around as the threat is a bipartisan issue—Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea. These deemed enemy nations have already stated that the Golden Dome would launch a massive arms race to militarize space.

China expressed concerns back in May 2025. Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning stated: “The project will heighten the risk of turning space into a war zone and creating a space arms race, and shake the international security and arms control system… Golden Dome intends to create an unconstrained, global, multi-layer and multi-domain missile defense system, planning the expansion of the U.S. arsenal of means for combat operations in outer space… China is gravely concerned.”

Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin released a joint statement in May regarding the project, deeming it
“deeply destabilizing.” “The recently announced large-scale ‘Golden (Iron) Dome for America’ program is also deeply destabilizing… [It] provides for a significant strengthening of the arsenal for conducting combat operations in space.”

Russia believes it has the technology to penetrate any air defense system. “Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated that our strategic systems are equipped so that we can reliably break through any air defense systems, including layered ones,” Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov stated. Russia does not want the American neocons to believe they are invincible.

Russia has secured at least 22,000 civil defense bunkers for their people in the event of a nuclear war—America has none and the people are not mentally prepared for the threat of a nuclear attack. When events do begin to unfold, I would avoid the major cities and all the military targets. In a nuclear war, you first target your opponent’s military assets. Second, you target the economic assets. Third, you seek to wipe out the major population centers.

Russia could simply deploy a dozen EMPs across the US and our industry would totally shut down, our people would die-off like flies and nothing would work. So, Russia, China and North Korea will probably focus most of the nuclear weapons on military targets and let a dozen EMPs destroy our power-grid-dependent people. Golden Dome will provoke furious opposition from Russia and China because it undermines their nuclear deterrent. The risk is that it accelerates an arms race, potentially destabilizing decades of strategic treaties. Yet, the project is essential in a world where hypersonic and nuclear threats are no longer theoretical but immediate. This project reflects a shift toward space as the next battlefield.
