The EPA requirements besides not be related to any “real” need are really a part and parcel of the progressives plan and diminishing the living standard of Americans; their thought are that “we” must sacrifice so that there is more for the rest of the world. Their goal is really the reduction of resources in general and this is supported in the entertainment industry e.g. “Hunger Games.” Obama just cut emissions again in a deal with China that go beyond what is talked about here. Be prepared for brown outs and black outs that get progressively worse and generating capacity is reduced.

I have a similar chart on my blog and yes the IPCC forecast based on the GCM’s and James Hansen’s work actually show almost a .5 degree C variance!

Never change the message just push it forward a few decades — hopping it will eventually happen. Besides 86 years from now these guys will all be long gone and hopefully long forgotten!

Don’t forget the money as the politicians supply money to the writers to write the reports that they want. So is a money laundering system as well.

Just looking at something like this on face makes one wonder how it could ever be expected to actually work. water and CO2 are the main waste products they go up the stack ignoring particulate matter. To take the CO2 and inject it underground under pressure requires energy which reduces the power output of the plant. This reduces the efficiency and significantly raise the cost of producing power. Its just a big science project.

I mostly agree with this but also I must state that the pause is really a down turn that will last until 2030/35 and global temperature will drop about .25 degrees C during that period. After that the warming will continue again but at a much lesser rate than the past one from about 1975 to 2005
