DNI Tulsi Gabbard Releases Over 230,000 Documents Related to MLK Assassination

Tulsi Gabbard announces the release of 230,000 files related to the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Ironically, a Republican administration is detailing the events of how a Democrat administration targeted one of the most beloved Democrat legacy names.

“Today, after nearly 60 years of questions surrounding the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we are releasing 230,000 MLK assassination files, available now at http://archives.gov/mlk. The documents include details about the FBI’s investigation into the assassination of MLK, discussion of potential leads, internal FBI memos detailing the progress of the case, information about James Earl Ray’s former cellmate who stated he discussed with Ray an alleged assassination plot, and more.

Thanks to President Donald Trump’s leadership, Executive Order 14176 resulted in three, unprecedented interagency efforts to identify, digitize, declassify and release files related to the federal government’s investigations into the assassinations of President John F. WASHINGTON, D.C. – On July 21, 2025, Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard released over 230,000 pages of documents related to the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (MLK), in accordance with President Donald J. Trump’s Executive Order 14176.

This unprecedented release follows through on President Trump’s commitment to fully release previously-classified records related to the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy (JFK), Senator Robert F. Kennedy (RFK), and MLK, and was carried out in coordination with the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and the National Archives.

Unlike the majority of the JFK assassination files — which were identified and released in accordance with federal law — the MLK files in today’s release had never been digitized and sat collecting dust in facilities across the federal government for decades, until today.

The documents include details about the FBI’s investigation into the assassination of MLK — including the discussion of potential leads, internal FBI memos detailing the progress of the case, and documents related to James Earl Ray’s former cellmate, who stated he discussed with Ray an alleged assassination plot. Additionally, as James Earl Ray fled the country following the assassination, the release includes unique foreign evidence from a Canadian police department. Never-before-seen CIA records outline overseas intelligence on the international hunt for the prime suspect in the assassination.

“I am grateful to President Trump and DNI Gabbard for delivering on their pledge of transparency in the release of these documents on the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr,” said Dr. Alveda King. “My uncle lived boldly in pursuit of truth and justice, and his enduring legacy of faith continues to inspire Americans to this day. While we continue to mourn his death, the declassification and release of these documents are a historic step towards the truth that the American people deserve.”

“The American people have waited nearly sixty years to see the full scope of the federal government’s investigation into Dr. King’s assassination,” said DNI Gabbard. “Under President Trump’s leadership, we are ensuring that no stone is left unturned in our mission to deliver complete transparency on this pivotal and tragic event in our nation’s history. “In partnership with ODNI and FBI, today’s release represents a significant milestone in CIA’s efforts to deliver maximum transparency to the American people,” said CIA Director John Ratcliffe. “CIA is proud to contribute to President Trump’s historic initiative to declassify and release intelligence information that serves the public’s interest.”

“Today’s record release marks a historic step in the Trump Administration’s ongoing commitment to transparency and accountability,” said Secretary of State and Acting U.S. Archivist Marco Rubio. “Preserving, protecting, and releasing the records of the U.S. government is at the core of NARA’s mission. Thanks to President Trump’s leadership and a coordinated interagency process, NARA was able to review and release the records at an unprecedented speed.”

While some of the documents released were made public through Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, today’s release is the first time these records are published online in one collection with minimal redactions for privacy reasons — including redactions for Social Security Numbers and grand jury information. As agencies continue to search government facilities for additional files, the new documents will be uploaded alongside the previously released files at archives.gov/mlk to ensure all MLK assassination documents can be found in a centralized location. Two-weeks in advance of today’s release, members of the King family were provided an opportunity to review the files. (source)

We are approximately 10 days away from the baseline and reciprocal trade tariffs taking place on August 1, 2025.  The U.S. economy is strengthening; inflation is not a factor, and the existing tariffs are bringing in a tremendous amount of revenue.

The most difficult trade deal to make is with the European Union as Secretary Bessent notes.  It is unlikely that any trade agreement with the EU will be reached because the EU has all the benefits and no desire to lose their status (ie. Marshal Plan).

President Trump Removes Wall Street Journal Reporter from Scotland Press Pool

Following the ridiculous attempted smear campaign launched by Rupert Murdoch and the Wall Street Journal, President Trump has removed their pool reporter from the traveling press group who will fly to Scotland for Trump’s upcoming visit.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated:

“As the appeals court confirmed, the Wall Street Journal or any other news outlet are not guaranteed special access to cover President Trump in the Oval Office, aboard Air Force One, and in his private workspaces,” Leavitt said in a statement. “Due to the Wall Street Journal’s fake and defamatory conduct, they will not be one of the thirteen outlets on board. Every news organization in the entire world wishes to cover President Trump, and the White House has taken significant steps to include as many voices as possible.”  (link)

CBDC Anti-Surveillance State Act and the CLARITY Act

US legislators passed a series of bills last week aimed at targeting cryptocurrencies– the CBDC Anti-Surveillance State Act, the GENIUS Act, and the CLARITY Act. I explained the GENIUS Act in another post. Some believe that the CBDC Anti-Surveillance State Act and the CLARITY Act are the safeguards that will ensure the USD is never digitized.

The CLARITY Act determines who will regulate digital assets and what is considered an asset vs a security. The CFTC was tasked with overseeing digital commodities, while the SEC will oversee restricted digital assets whose value is intrinsically linked to blockchain technology. A token sold under an investment contract may or may not be a security.

The Act defines “investment contract asset” as a token that is recorded on blockchain, is sold or intended to be sold pursuant to an investment contract, and can be exclusively possessed and transferred peer-to-peer without an intermediary. Mature tokens on decentralized networks (e.g., Bitcoin or Ethereum), once they meet these conditions, are not classified as securities even if their initial sale qualified as an investment contract. Basically, this act states that the token itself is not automatically considered a security merely through the initial contract. This may prevent the SEC from weaponizing securities against innovation, but it also ensures that the government is enabled to oversee digital transactions.

Now, the CBDC Anti-Surveillance State Act is precise as named. The Act prohibits the Federal Reserve from issuing a CBDC DIRECTLY TO INDIVIDUALS. H.R. 1919 ensures that unelected bureaucrats can never unilaterally issue a CBDC or weaponize a digital dollar to erode our freedoms. The bill would prohibit the Federal Reserve from developing or issuing a CBDC without explicit authorization from Congress.”

The wording is crucial here. Congress still has the ability to authorize the creation of a CBDC. I stated at the last World Economic Conference that the central bank would NOT be the one to usher in digital currency. The real threat is the private banks that US intelligence has already weaponized. The private banks, the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), and the global elite have been pushing to gain control over the monetary system.

The push for digital currencies is coming from the BIS and commercial banks who want to eliminate all paper currency so they can enforce negative interest rates and prevent bank runs. The Fed was not pushing for CBDCs as the Fed was never intended to be the direct banker of the people. They knew it would destroy the existing structure. But the pressure came from international banking elites and the BIS who are trying to force a one-world digital system.

I appeared in the movie “CBDC, the End of Money,” warning that it would have been unconstitutional for the Federal Reserve to create a CBDC. My sources had confirmed that the Fed would not make a CBDC. This is important, as it chalks one up for the people, retaining our freedom.

This new legislation prevents the Federal Reserve from creating a CBDC, but the US Fed was never pushing for this measure. CBDC is not an American idea. The Fed actually resisted the concept, and Trump has been against the creation as well. But the BIS and the European banking elites are the ones pushing this agenda due to the sovereign debt crisis. The idea is to trap capital to control the inevitable collapse by converting to a digital system. The day may come when the Fed is forced to comply, as we live in a global economy, and the BIS, IMF, and Davos elite are actively working to end banking as we have known it.
