China to Become World Nuclear Energy Super Power

Thorium

China has discovered a massive 1-million-ton thorium deposit valued at $178 billion that could potentially power the nation for the next 60,000 years. Thorium is a radioactive metal found in the Earth’s crust that is three times as common as uranium. One ton of thorium can produce as much energy as 200 tons of uranium or 3.5 million tons of coal.

“For generations, nations have fought wars over oil and gas—yet we’ve had a clean energy solution beneath our feet all along,” one Chinese scientist commented. Thorium is praised as a less toxic alternative as the radioactive waste it produces loses its toxicity within a few hundred years, compared to uranium-235, which could take thousands of years to neutralize. Reactors powered by thorium do not produce greenhouse gases. Thorium could be converted to nuclear fuel that can power molten salt reactors, heavy water reactors, high-temperature gas-cooled reactors, and more.

India is currently at the forefront of thorium-based nuclear technology and has several multi-billion-dollar projects underway. Pressurized Heavy Water Reactors (PHWRs) fueled by uranium generate plutonium. That plutonium is then used by Deploy Fast Breeder Reactors (FBRs) to create fissile material such as uranium-233. The final stage employs the Advanced Heavy Water Reactor (AHWR) and other thorium-based fuels that are designed to operate on thorium-plutonium and thorium-uranium-233 mixed oxide fuels.

It is believed that India is currently in possession of 846,477 tons of thorium, with some agencies suggested the figure could be as high as 1 million. Before the discovery in China, India held about 30% of global thorium. The nation is on the path to achieve 100 GW of nuclear capacity by 2047. China is now on par with India in terms of thorium holdings.

China relied on Russia and Kazakhstan for uranium imports, purchasing around 16,390 tons or $2.32 billion in natural uranium in 2024. China’s strategy was to source one-third of its uranium domestically, but this discovery will change everything once mining is underway.

China has been phasing out coal and already has plans to be self-sufficient in energy by 2035. Thorium itself is not fissile and cannot be used in nuclear weapons directly, as many are wondering. Yet, uranium-233 certainly can be used in nuclear weapons. The US produced nearly 2 tons of uranium-233 during the Cold War and tested the theory.

India and China now have the ability to become the world’s leading nuclear-powered nations.

Record Low Border Crossings Under Trump

Mexico Border

US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) proudly announced that illegal crossings have reached a record low of zero. Not a single alien was permitted to enter the US illegally under the Trump administration. This stands as a stark contrast to the 62,000 people who were permitted to invade the nation under Biden-Harris-Auto Pen.

“Under the leadership of this administration, CBP has received historic support, resulting in another 93 percent decrease in illegal crossings along the southwest border this month compared with last year,” Pete Flores, Acting Commissioner of CBP, said. “Border numbers continue to trend at historic lows, reinforcing the sustained success of our enforcement efforts in securing the homeland and protecting American communities.”

BorderTzarKamalaHarris

CBP encountered 117,905 people attempting to illegally enter the United States last May; this year, only 8,725 were bold enough to attempt entry—a 93% decline. Previous border czar Kamala Harris lightly stated, “Don’t come.” Current border czar Tom Homan does not mince his words. From the start, he has vowed to deport anyone and everyone who disregards national security. The media paints him as a brute but his message has been effective as people around the world know that America is no longer providing

This historic feat is confirmation that current border policies are effective. The tap has been turned off, but the US must now empty the basin. Over 200,000 people have been reported since Trump took office, but millions of people still hiding out throughout the nation. The federal government spent $45 billion on new detention facilities and $14 billion on transportation and removal operations. Homan’s aim is to remove 1 million undocumented persons per year. This is a small price to pay in comparison to what the federal government was spending on migrant housing, health care, pre-paid cards, cell phones, and the list goes on. National security and rising crime aside, those fighting to keep trespassers in the US fail to realize how much the American taxpayer has spent on open border policies.

Article I, Section 10, Clause 3 of the Constitution recognizes states’ sovereign power to repel invasions, which some argue provides a constitutional basis for states to take action to secure their borders in the absence of sufficient federal government action. Border states were fighting a losing battle under Biden-Harris-Auto Pen and it will take years for them to recover. No one has been held responsible. Let us not forget that crime peaked to such an extreme that measures like the Laken Riley Act were necessary to prevent leftist judges from rereleasing undocumented offenders into the public. Migrants were permitted to assault law enforcement officers with no repercussion and were not expected to adhere to the law.

Article 3, Section 3 of the Constitution defines treason as “levying war” against the United States or “adhering to [the] enemies [of the United States], giving them aid and comfort”, and that is precisely what is happening to our once great nation. The past administration’s actions were clearly treason against the American public.

Contrasting Leadership – President Trump vs President Macron

Posted originally on CTH on June 17, 2025 | Sundance

I post the direct statements from President Trump on the calls with Russian President Vladimir Putin because if you read the background, both before and after the Israel strike operation, you can clearly see the strategy. [Check Dates]

President Trump is doing what modern U.S officials never did, showing respect to the aligned nuclear powers and positioning any action for the least amount of geopolitical collateral damage.  President Trump knows one of the key geopolitical influences upon Iran is the Russian Federation.

You do not have to be pro or anti-Trump to understand how executive level respect and diplomacy works. This is why the leadership of the Russian Federation respect Trump (firm but thoughtful), even if they are in opposition to his positions.

Remember the statements yesterday in Canada, at the G7, specifically about the Russian sanctions.  These statements above should be read with the context of before and after the strikes in Iran began; then overlay the statements yesterday about the sanctions.  There is a very clear message conveyed.

President Trump does not want a targeted problem to escalate into a regional geopolitical conflict.  So, he takes proactive and ongoing steps to ensure containment.  This is the part that French President Macron (doofus) cannot intellectually conceptualize; hence, President Trump’s curt remarks.

Even before the Israeli operation against Iran began, President Trump draws safe proactive perimeters that all traditional agents of governmental influence can understand.

Like you, I completely do not want expanded conflict that could potentially draw the U.S. into something far more dangerous.  However, I also don’t see that as a likely outcome.  President Trump is in the support position to eliminate the threat of nuclear weapons from Iran; let him work without our dark imaginings injecting something that does not exist.

Don’t buy clicks and hype. Just focus on the prudent approach evidenced in the honest analysis of Trump’s considerations. He’s not shooting from the hip.  If you understand this, if you can see this in Trump’s words and deeds, then contrast with Macron.

KANANASKIS, Alberta — French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday opposed bringing down the Iranian regime violently as he warned of potentially destabilizing effects across the Middle East.

“The biggest mistake today would be to try to do a regime change in Iran through military means because that would lead to chaos,” Macron told reporters on the last day of the G7 summit in Canada, warning that “no one can say what comes next.”

“We never support actions of regional de-stabilization,” he added.

Macron’s remarks come as fears snowball over the U.S. potentially joining Israel’s military campaign in Iran, which began late last week and has crippled Iranian nuclear sites and killed top regime officials.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said on Tuesday that U.S. President Donald Trump was indeed considering that option. On his way back to the U.S. yesterday evening, Trump said he wanted a “real end” to the conflict and that he was “not too much in a mood to negotiate.”

Macron mentioned forced regime changes carried out by the U.S. and NATO allies in Iraq and Libya as past mistakes that should not be repeated, given they had birthed subsequent deadly political instability. (read more)

As we watch how President Trump is navigating this, I can see a strong, thoughtful leadership position within the big picture.   A politician like Emmanuel Macron could never fathom calling an ‘adversary’ (Putin) to talk about a potential conflict with a positioned ally (Iran) of that adversary.

President Trump has taken that proactive action with Putin specifically to avoid the ‘expanded conflict’ outcome that is driving the fear wedge within MAGA.  These conversations with Putin are EVIDENCE of Trump’s intent not to create collateral conflict, and it looks like Vladimir Putin understands him.
