Guardian Says That Freezing Air Melts Ice
The Guardian forgot to say that it was the dark energy that is doing this for the dark energy causes the universe to expand and that expansion cools thing down. The Climate Change believers think that CO2 promotes the creation of dark energy that is not just hurting the earth but also the entire universe.

Severe winters are more likely over the next few decades due toclimate change melting Arctic ice and sending freezing air south, according to new research
The warm air is melting the Arctic, then heads south and is -40 in Minnesota. Makes sense if you are a progressive or a complete moron – but I repeat myself.

As in other areas, the amount of warming in the Northeast will be highly dependent on global emissions of heat-trapping gases. If emissions continue to increase (as in the A2 scenario), warming of 4.5ºF to 10ºF is projected by the 2080s; if global emissions were reduced substantially (as in the B1 scenario), projected warming ranges from about 3ºF to 6ºF by the 2080s.
Under both emissions scenarios, the frequency, intensity, and duration of heat waves is expected to increase, with larger increases under higher emissions (Ch. 2: Our Changing Climate). The warm air (global warming) pulls the heat out of the water at the poles which makes more ice.

- Global Sea Ice Extent is 157,000 sq km above the 1981-2010 mean.
- Antarctic Sea Ice Extent is 828,000 sq km above the 1981-2010 mean.
- Arctic Sea Ice Extent is -671,000 sq km below the 1981-2010 mean.

Wind power is a joke — there is no way to make it suitable for Grid level power! It can have only very limited uses and most of them only work when heavily subsidized.

Wind farms can never be relied upon to keep the lights on in Britain because there are long periods each winter in which they produce barely any power, according to a new report by the Adam Smith Institute.
The huge variation in wind farms’ power output means they cannot be counted on to produce energy when needed, and an equivalent amount of generation from traditional fossil fuel plants will be needed as back-up, the study finds.

How The French Fight Global Warming
The French haven’t down much of anything right in the last decade and now they will be joining Germany in making sure their businesses and citizens will have no power in the coming years.

The past month has seen considerable news on the global warming front—the National Academy of Sciences found that the U.N. underestimates the amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) absorbed by plants, Greenpeace’s founder described the group as an “evil organization” that has “lost concern for humanity,” and a paper in the journal Ocean Science concluded that sea-level rise has decelerated by 44 percent since 2004, for starters. The French have decided to take a stand and fight by unplugging 25 percent of their electricity supply.
Earlier this month, the lower house of the French Parliament passed a long-debated “energy transition” bill that would replace the one renewable electricity source that provides efficient, affordable energy—nuclear power—with other emissions-free power that depend on the sun shining and the wind blowing at the right times.
