Higher Court Rules Trump Can Freeze $16B Designated for Climate Change Slush Funds

Climate Change War

Trump-appointed EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin has been attempting to freeze $16 billion in federal funds that the Biden Administration granted to climate change NGOs. Project Veritas revealed that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) deliberately gave away BILLIONS in funds prior to Trump taking office. In a major win for the American public, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit overturned a lower court ruling that would have jeopardized the remaining $16 billion.

“Now it’s how to get the money out as fast as possible before they [Trump Administration] come in … it’s like we’re on the Titanic and we’re throwing gold bars off the edge.” – Brent Efron, EPA Advisor.

Despite evidence directly showing that the EPA offloaded billions in taxpayer funds ahead of Trump’s appointment, a lower court initially ruled in favor of the outgoing administration and claimed that the EPA did not have the right to block funds designated to climate groups. The latest ruling by a federal appeals court determined in a 2-1 vote that the EPA has the authority to prevent these green agencies from stealing from the American public.

People do not realize just how much money the EPA blew through on absolutely nothing. Biden admitted that the Inflation Reduction Act, the most expensive spending package in US history, was about CLIMATE CHANGE at its core and had nothing to do with inflation. Those at the EPA called the act “Biden’s climate law” and were eager to spend the $360 billion set aside for green initiatives. The Inflation Reduction Act was merely a climate change slush fund.

Efron told an undercover journalist that they were preparing to spend the money as quickly as possible right up until inauguration day. “We gave them [nonprofits] the money because… it was an insurance policy against Trump winning. Because they aren’t [a government agency], they’re safer from Republicans taking the money away,” he said. The EPA awarded nonprofits between $50 and $100 million EACH toward the end of Biden’s presidency.

The corruption is insultingly blatant. One agency was awarded a $2 BILLION grant despite only producing $100 in revenue and was tied to corrupt, failed politician Stacey Abrams. Imagine if Donald Trump awarded $2 billion to an organization that earned less than a child’s lemonade stand and had connections to a conservative ally? The absolute corruption of the past administration is unbelievable as they robbed the public blind for climate, migrants, war, and personal gain.

There is a chance that this issue could be sent to the US Supreme Court. The American people should be outraged that the government would openly spend billions to spite a political rival. The former EPA was not hurting Trump with this spending, as the people are who always bear the brunt of these political wars.

Trump Administration Files IEEPA Tariff Appeal to U.S. Supreme Court – Asks for Expedited Review

U.S. Solicitor General D. John Sauer has asked the Supreme Court to accept the case by next week, hear arguments in early November and “expedite” its ultimate ruling “to the maximum extent feasible.” [Appeal Here] with [Expedited Review Request Here]

[SOURCE]

From the request for expedited consideration, “The en banc Federal Circuit’s erroneous decision has disrupted highly impactful, sensitive, ongoing diplomatic trade negotiations, and cast a pall of legal uncertainty over the President’s efforts to protect our country by preventing an unprecedented economic and foreign-policy crisis,” Sauer notes.

Adding comments from Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, “The recent decision by the Federal Circuit is already adversely affecting ongoing negotiations. World leaders are questioning the Presi-dent’s authority to impose tariffs, walking away from or delaying negotiations, and/or imposing a different calculus on their negotiating positions.”

Moreover, “[t]he frameworks for trade agreements already in place contain additional provisions whereby the trade partners agree to significant purchases from and/or in-vestments in the United States.” … “If these agreed upon frameworks were unwound and the investments and purchases had to be repaid, the economic consequences would be catastrophic.” (more)

At issue is the president’s authority under the International Economic Emergency Powers Act (IEEPA), a 1977 law Trump used to impose baseline tariffs between 10 and 50 percent on goods from countries who do not have Free Trade Agreements with the U.S.

President Trump also declared fentanyl drug shipments a national emergency, providing the administration’s justification for imposing tariffs on Canada, China and Mexico.

Bending Knees – President Trump Hosts Tech Executives at White House for Dinner

Posted originally on CTH on September 5, 2025 | Sundance

Initially it was supposed to be closed to the press, but President Trump decided to bring in the media as interest increased. President Trump hosted a significant group of some of the most influential tech leaders into the White House for dinner.

In large measure, this group is not -by disposition- very favorable toward President Trump, however with the power of the office they understand how dependent they are to his favor.   From his perspective, Trump is leveraging the power and ingenuity of advanced technological capacity against adversaries who might align against ¹U.S. dominance (China, Russia et al), so this group represents a capability he is leveraging.

Some of the group, looking specifically at Bill Gates, are just plain globalist a-holes, promoting their self-importance as global influencers. President Trump’s decision to open the doors to the media puts the group in an uncomfortable position as they are then forced to reveal publicly their opinion of the assembly. [Insert fox smiling picture here].  WATCH:

¹Russian President Vladimir Putin made remarks earlier in the day about discussions with President Trump and corporate global energy developers about collaborating in the artic circle and Alaska.

In the big picture, President Trump wants both peace and economic abundance globally, and while regional interests like Ukraine influence the background of collaboration, nonetheless the desire remains.

One side has raw industrial power; the other has technological capabilities. President Trump is leveraging the abilities of the latter against the strength of the former.

I enjoy watching this dance.

Somewhere in my smiling dream state I imagine Tulsi Gabbard and Marco Rubio discussing the challenges when President Trump walks into the room and says, “eh, quit worrying; if we need to, we can turn off their little machines. C’mon, let’s go eat tacos, and Marco can tell us about his trip down south.

Details of Bolton Search Warrant Revealed as Warrant is Unsealed

The information about the investigation of John Bolton have been assumptions and leaks. However, within the recently unsealed search warrant carried out against the former National Security Advisor, we can see what the basis for the investigation consists of.

[SOURCE]

The reason for the investigation is: (1) “Gathering, transmitting or losing defense information”, and (2) “Unauthorized removal and retention of classified documents or material.”  [Also noted “on or after April 9, 2018” – pg 9]

There are some interesting redactions within the search warrant related to the official duties and capacities of John Bolton as employed by the United States Government. [Page 9 of pdf, page 35 as printed] A secondary job title is oddly redacted. Also, did Bolton have an official alias?

President Trump Likely to Nominate Lt Gen William Joseph “Joe” Hartman as Head of NSA and U.S. Cyber Command

Posted originally on CTH on September 5, 2025 | Sundance

Lt General William Joseph “Joe” Hartman is a University of Southern Alabama graduate (class of ’89).  Hartman had served as the deputy commander of U.S. Cyber Command, and previously served as commander of the Cyber National Mission Force. Before that, he served in various infantry, intelligence and cyber operations military roles in the U.S., Germany, South Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan and other locations.

WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump is expected to nominate Lt. Gen. William Hartman, the acting leader of both the National Security Agency and U.S. Cyber Command, to formally lead both agencies, two people with knowledge of the situation told POLITICO on Thursday.

Hartman has the support of top officials at the White House, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the Defense Department, according to one of the people. Both individuals were granted anonymity as they were not authorized to speak publicly.

[…] Hartman’s paperwork will be sent to the National Security Council before hitting the president’s desk. The dual role is a Senate-confirmed position, given that it is a promotion to four-star general.

[…] Hartman is unlikely to face much pushback to his nomination in the Senate. He testified before the Senate Armed Services Committee’s cyber subcommittee in April, days after Haugh’s dismissal, and garnered praise from both sides of the aisle. (read more)

Hartman’s nomination follows Joe Francescon being picked to serve as deputy director of the NSA.

This is a critical nomination.  It is a very interesting dynamic.  The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) can block a nomination that is against their control efforts and that ultimately this becomes how the SSCI controls the power dynamic within the intelligence apparatus.

Deputy NSA Director Joe Francescon did not require SSCI nomination, and Joe Francescon was fully supported by DNI Tulsi Gabbard.  To become Director of the NSA William Joseph Hartman appears acceptable to Gabbard, acceptable to the White House and acceptable to the SSCI.

President Trump Schedules 2:00pm ET Announcement – U.S. Space Force Likely Moving From Colorado to Alabama

President Trump has scheduled a 2:00pm ET announcement from the White House.  The president has not been seen in several days as he took a Labor Day weekend holiday.

While the topic of the announcement has not been made in advance, the greatest likelihood surrounds the removal of Space Force from Colorado (Peterson Space Force Base) and relocation to Alabama (Huntsville’s Redstone Arsenal – home of Airforce Command).  The move away from Colorado is also interesting as the secondary Cyber Command data center is in Colorado (CTH is interested in this data center).  The Livestream Links are below:

The Penguin Quits – Fast Action Needed

Posted originally on CTH on September 2, 2025 | Sundance

New York Representative Jerry “The Penguin” Nadler has announced he is not going to seek reelection in 2026.

78-year-old Nadler was going to face a significant primary threat from the far-left.

NEW YORK – “Watching the Biden thing really said something about the necessity for generational change in the party, and I think I want to respect that,” Mr. Nadler said, adding that a younger successor “can maybe do better, can maybe help us more.”

Rep. Jerry Nadler, was the former chair of the House Judiciary Committee who joined forces with Adam Schiff and spearheaded President Donald Trump’s impeachment effort.

Nadler and Schiff formed a joint House impeachment committee and then hired Mary McCord as the lead staff for the effort.

Mary McCord previously worked as DOJ-National Security Division head with Michael Atkinson as her office lawyer.

When McCord quit the DOJ and went to work for Schiff and Nadler, Atkinson was ¹moved to Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG).

As the ICIG, Michael Atkinson then changed the rules for whistleblowers within the CIA permitting a false assertion by Eric Ciaramella, who subsequently told a fictional story presented by Alexander Vindman.  The fake “Ukraine Impeachment” effort stemmed from this political scheme.

Vindman lied, Eric Ciaramella advanced the lie to ICIG Michael Atkinson who then spun the ²false allegation back to his colleague Mary McCord.  That’s the origin of the fraud behind the first impeachment effort.

¹♦ Who told President Trump to appoint Michael Atkinson as ICIG?

The appointment of Michael Atkinson was not a mistake.  The impeachment was pre-planned.

Find the person who put his name in front of President Trump, and you find one of the internal operatives within the Trump administration specifically working to hurt President Trump in his first term.  Is that person around in term #2?

²♦ Where is Michael Atkinson’s transcript?

ICIG Michael Atkinson testified to the joint House subcommittee on impeachment about why he changed the rules for CIA whistleblowers.  Atkinson testified about his activity to the Schiff/Nadler committee, IN FRONT OF MARY McCORD.

Adam Schiff promptly classified and sealed the Atkinson deposition transcript in an attempt to forever bury it.  The equity stakeholders are: (1) the House of Representatives, and (2) the CIA.

NEEDED ACTION – House Speaker Mike Johnson should be able to find that Atkinson transcript, declassify and make it public.  However, the CIA is likely also the equity stakeholder.  So, give it to Director John Ratcliffe who then declassifies it and gives it to DNI Tulsi Gabbard for release.

Mexico is Doing What Canada Is Ignoring – Preparing for 2026 USMCA Renegotiation

Posted originally on CTH on August 29, 2025 | Sundance

There are going to be two major stories in 2026 that we will have full context to understand.  Yes, the 2026 midterm politics are going to lead the headlines, but two other issues will have considerable impact.

The first, is the FISA (702) reauthorization, and there is a lot that will surface in the next several months likely to upend the best laid plans of the administrative UniParty [Tulsi Factor].  The second, is the USMCA reauthorization – the end of the trilateral trade agreement, and the structural shift into two separate free trade agreements.

As to the latter issue, while Mexico and Canada are currently in a state of economic flux, only Mexico is preparing to deal with the seismic shift that is about to unfold.  Canada is going to be caught completely off guard.

While Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney is trotting around Europe trying to establish his relevance amid the pro-Ukraine coalition,  Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum is spending time focused on her domestic economy.

Mexico is preparing to drop significant tariffs on Chinese imports, a proactive move to position Mexico in advance of the upcoming bilateral discussion.

Sheinbaum knows that right now for every deportation ICE executes, her economy is hit as remittances recede. Simultaneously, for every mile of border wall that is completed, the financial dependency model increases.  President Trump’s leverage in the upcoming bilateral trade negotiation against Mexico increases each day, week and month.

Claudia Sheinbaum is smartly focused on trying to get ahead of the issues, while Mark Carney ignores his vulnerability and is about to make Canada naked to the economic weaknesses created by Justin Trudeau.

CHINA POST – Mexico is preparing to raise tariffs on Chinese imports of automobiles, textiles and plastics, Bloomberg News reported on Thursday, under a proposal expected to be part of the 2026 budget to be submitted to the nation’s Congress next month.

If confirmed, the increase would mark one of Mexico’s sharpest trade shifts in recent years. Officials in Washington have urged the move as part of US President Donald Trump’s push to build a “Fortress North America” and reduce dependence on Chinese supply chains.

Trump has been a long-time critic of what he calls trade “loopholes” in the US-Mexico-Canada Agreement allowing Chinese goods to enter the US. During his election campaign last year, he railed against Chinese carmakers building plants in Mexico to export cars to the US.

Mexico’s imports from China exceeded US$51 billion last year, accounting for nearly one-fifth of the country’s total purchases abroad.

The rapid growth has turned Mexico into China’s top overseas market for vehicles, but has also left local manufacturers complaining of unfair competition from subsidised goods. The planned tariffs could also be extended to other Asian nations, although China remains the main focus. (read more)

Taken in context, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum is prepping to be in alignment with the goals and objectives of President Trump. Meanwhile Canada is completely ignoring the issue of Chinese trade, and the loopholes that anger President Trump within the USMCA exploitation.

We’ll keep watching, but this context will unfold. Slowly at first, then suddenly, all at once, come spring ’26.
