The forecast date has arrived, and Gaia celebrated the event with a record gain in ice -lurching back close to the 1979-2000 mean.

President Obama told comedian Stephen Colbert that he is weighing the benefits of the Keystone XL oil pipeline against its potential contribution to “disastrous” climate change.

Obama made the comments Monday night on  “The Colbert Report,” which was taped at George Washington University.

He highlighted many drawbacks of the proposed pipeline to connect Alberta’s oil sands to the Gulf Coast, and dismissed some of its supposed benefits.

“We’ve got to make sure that it’s not adding to the problem of carbon and climate change,” Obama said.

“It could create a couple of thousand potential jobs in the initial construction of the pipeline, but we’ve got to measure that against whether or not it is going to contribute to an overall warming of the planet that could be disastrous.”

Heat Waves in Europe Will Increase, Study Finds

PARIS — In June 2003, a high-pressure weather system took hold over Western Europe and hovered there for weeks, bringing warm tropical air to the region and making that summer the hottest since at least 1540, the year King Henry VIII discarded his fourth wife, Anne of Cleves.

Temperatures were about 2.3 degrees Celsius, or 4.1 degrees Fahrenheit, above average that summer, contributing to perhaps 70,000 additional deaths and hitting the elderly particularly hard. The heat was a factor in the outbreak of forest fires and in lower than usual crop yields. It caused Alpine glaciers to shrink at a rate double that seen in the previous record summer, five years earlier.

Now, three scientists from the Met Office, the British weather agency, have concluded that human-caused global warming is going to make European summer heat…

The amount of sea ice on Earth is not far from a record high, as NCDC declares it the hottest year ever.

NCDC doesn’t actually have any idea what the temperature is near the poles, but that doesn’t stop them from making fake claims about “hottest year ever.”

President Obama says you are a flat earther and need to be silenced, if you don’t believe Al Gore’s prediction of an ice-free Arctic on December 10, 2014. The science is settled, and 97% of scientists agree with Nobel Laureate Gore.

So just STFU already. Scientists are at work.

Experts say that very complex and divergent Mann-made destructive processes, have caused the ice to be almost exactly normal at both poles.

Further unprecedented human interference may well cause increased normalcy.

The IPCC and climate science in general is driven by junk science and spectacular fraud, but none are perhaps worse than their claim that sea level rise rates have doubled since 1993.  There isn’t one shred of tide gauge evidence to back this claim up. The malfeasance is off-scale.
