Multiple Russian drones were reportedly shot down in Polish airspace earlier this week, and now, the Polish government is urging NATO to respond. The violation of Polish airspace marked the first time that a NATO member directly engaged in combat with Russia. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that Poland has never been closer to enter a conflict since World War II. Polish President Karol Nawrocki believes that Russia is testing its limits. The government has called on NATO allies to invoke Article 4: “The Parties will consult together whenever, in the opinion of any of them, the territorial integrity, political independence or security of any of the Parties is threatened.”
Not to be confused with Article 5, Article 4 is merely an agreement to discuss the security of a member nation. “The Russian provocation was nothing more than an attempt to test our capabilities and response. It was an attempt to check the mechanism of operation within NATO and our ability to react,” President Nawrocki commented.
Russia believes that the drone spotting was a false flag, and a “myths repeatedly spread by Poland in order to escalate the Ukrainian crisis further.” US President Trump questioned Russia’s actions on social media. Secretary General Mark Rutte affirmed that “allies expressed solidarity with Poland and denounced Russia’s reckless behavior.”
Article 4 is often the prelude to Article 5. It is the emergency meeting that takes place ahead of action. Poland has deployed 40,000 troops to its border with Belarus, where the drones were shot down. Russia and Belarus have planned to execute a joint military exercise named Zapad 2025 that will involve tens of thousands of troops.
“Poland has been preparing for the Zapad 2025 maneuvers for many months,” Cezary Tomczyk, a deputy defense minister, told broadcaster Polsat News. “The Polish Army has conducted exercises in which over 30,000 Polish soldiers, as well as soldiers of the [NATO] alliance, took part in order to adequately respond,” he said. “Let’s remember that Zapad 2025 is an offensive exercise.”
Was it a false flag? Belarus claims it provided Poland with advance notice that drones would enter its airspace. “The Belarusians warned us that drones were heading towards us through their airspace,” General Wiesław Kukuła, Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, said. “It was surprising to me that Belarus, which is really trying to escalate the situation on our land border, decided to cooperate in this way.”
Belarus’ Chief of the General Staff, Pavel Muraveiko also claims that the drones veered off course and unintendedly entered Poland. “As the Russian Federation and Ukraine exchanged blows using unmanned aerial vehicles this night, duty forces and assets of the air defense system of the Republic of Belarus constantly monitored the unmanned aerial vehicles that veered off course due to electronic jamming from both sides,” Muraveiko said.
Drones should not have entered Polish airspace. The incident does appear accidental, as Belarus notified Poland in advance; however, sending unmanned weapons into a NATO nation is asking for trouble and a miscalculation that neither Russia nor Belarus can afford, with the neocons in NATO eagerly awaiting a reason to ignite World War III.

Consumer prices are up 2.9% in August on an annual basis after rising 2.7% in July. CPI doubled from July’s reading at 0.4%, with inflation now sitting at 2.9%. Core CPI excluding food and energy rose 3.1% YoY.
Food prices are 3.2% higher this year, rising 0.5% from July 2025. Food at home rose 3.2% YoY (0.6% MoM), while food away from home rose 3.3% YoY (0.3% MoM). Vegetable prices rose 1.6% from the month prior. Meats, fish, poultry, and eggs rose 1% in August, with beef prices continuing to rise at 2.7%. Dairy products increased slightly by 0.1% and nonalcoholic beverages rose 0.6%.
There was an uptick in the price of medical care services with a 4.2% annual increase. The medical care index overall decreased by 0.7%.
Shelter costs spiked 3.6% in the past year as well, with household goods and furnishings rising 3.9%.
The tariff price adjustment can be felt in the auto sector as prices are up across the board. Even used cars have increased 6% in price from August 2024, and motor vehicle insurance is up 4.7% over the same timeframe. Transportation services in general rose 3.5%. Airline fares are up 5.9% on a monthly basis after rising 4% in July.
The energy index rose 0.2% over the past 12 months, although there seems to be a bit of reprieve on gas (down 6.6% YoY), and general energy commodities (-6.2% YoY). The cost of electricity spiked 6.2% in the past 12 months, energy services rose 7.7%, and utilities are up an alarming 13.8%.
Inflation continues to rise faster than wages, with the average urban wage earner seeing a 2.8% annual increase in pay. The Labor Department noted in a separate report that weekly unemployment reached 263,000 on a seasonally adjusted basis, with 27,000 additional job losses from the prior period.
Prices are up, employment is down, and overall GDP is declining. The mainstream analysts are finally recognizing that we are in a period of stagflation.
Our computer is demonstrating that volatility in unemployment will rise from 2026, peaking first in 2028 with a Panic Cycle in 2029. This also confirms our War Cycles for 2026. What we MUST come to grips with is that there is far more to understanding the economy from a single statistic perspective. However, we are also undergoing two significant factors that the classic economic models fail to incorporate, aside from the fact that 99% of the rhetoric and the economic models overlook the leverage in the banking system that creates money outside of the Federal Reserve through lending.

Political activist Charlie Kirk was murdered while speaking at Utah Valley University. Kirk, 31, leaves behind a wife and two small children. Violence against conservatives must come to an end.
Democrats have been encouraging violence against their political opponents and their supporters. The world watched the gruesome death of Iryna Zarutska, whose killer was let out on cashless bail with no fewer than 14 arrests, as there are two tiers of justice in the US. There was an attempt on the president’s life during his campaign as his opponents repeatedly called for violence against Donald Trump and anyone who supported him. Trump and Vance released a list of the dangerous, ongoing rhetoric promoted by the left and legacy media during his campaign. Conservatives have become a hated class.
Charlie Kirk's wife posted this two weeks ago on Instagram.
“Trump parrots Hitler,” Joe Biden stated in December 2023, later adding that MAGA conservatives were the “largest threat to democracy.” Hillary Clinton called conservatives a “basket of deplorables” and suggested imprisoning conservative voices for spreading propaganda. “Adolf Hitler was elected chancellor of Germany. He worked to discredit institutions to the point where people believed it … This is the same type of propaganda we heard in the 1920s and during World War I against Jews,” Rep. James Clyburn stated in 2019.
“You could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic—you name it. … He has given voice to their websites that used to only have 11,000 people. Now how many millions?” Hillary Clinton stated in 2016.
Leftist rhetoric over the years determined that Donald Trump is Adolf Hitler and his supporters are hateful Nazis. America’s dictator is dismantling democracy and replacing it with fascism, only beholden to the billionaire class. Conservatives are intolerant racists who hate the gay community and want to ban same-sex unions. The right hates women as a whole, although women only exist as a concept, as they aim to turn America into Margaret Atwood’s “Handmaid’s Tale.” MAGA conservatives are deliberately removing rights from the American people.
Millions of people believe the rhetoric played on a loop across every media platform. Divisive politics has caused a near civil war in America. The left has been encouraged and permitted to act out violently in support of their causes from the George Floyd Black Lives Matter riots that burned down cities to the calls to burn down Tesla cars over ties to Elon Musk. These people believe they are on “the right side of history” and freeing imaginary prisoners from future concentration camps by attacking conservatives.
Freedom of speech is also a concept. It is dangerous to voice conservative viewpoints. Conservatives genuinely fear retribution for voicing their opinions with good reason. Charlie Kirk bravely represented conservative beliefs, co-founding Turning Point when he was 18. He visited college campuses to engage in thought-provoking dialogue and political discourse. Agree to disagree.
“When someone takes the life of a person because of ideas or ideals, that very foundation is threatened. We need to stop hating our fellow Americans… I say unite us as a country,” Utah Governor Spencer Cox stated.
Before he was declared dead, the mainstream media suggested that one of his supporters could have fired the shot into the crowd. Democrats like AOC used his death to promote repealing the Second Amendment, urging gun control. The US House of Representatives proved that they are unwilling to end the violence. During a moment of silence for Charlie Kirk, neither Republicans nor Democrats could contain their anger and erupted into a shouting match.
Washington has ordered flags to be flown at half-mast. The violence must be condemned, but unfortunately, the computer model has not been optimistic about the unity of the United States of America. Tensions will continue to rise as the division has reached a point of no return.
The final straw for the revolution in Nepal was the government’s attempt to stifle free speech by banning social media platforms. These events did not take place because a few kids had their tablets taken away. Extreme government corruption ran rampant for years while the elite lived luxurious lifestyles in spite of the people they ruled over. The Nepalese government attempted to prevent the people from freely voicing their growing discontent, and then, when the people attempted to protest, the government murdered over 20 school-aged children in cold blood.
The media has poorly portrayed the cause of events by calling it the “Gen Z” revolution, sparked by a social media ban, which is entirely misleading, as the culprit was corruption and poverty. One in four citizens lives below the poverty line, with the average Nepali earning $1,400 USD annually. The poorest 20% spend around 67% of their income on food, and, much like most nations, in 2025, the majority is struggling to maintain the cost of living.
What began as an online trend has now become the core of a national uprising. The hashtag #NepoKids exposed the lavish lifestyles of political elites' children, revealing a stark contrast to the struggles of ordinary Nepali youth facing unemployment and economic hardship.
Then you have over 20% unemployment among the youth. In contrast, there is a “Nepo Kid” online trend where the children of the wealthy elite flaunt their luxurious lifestyles. The hashtags #PoliticiansNepoBabyNepal, #NepoKids, and #NepoBaby began circulating online during the protests. “The leaders’ children return from abroad with Gucci bags, the people’s children in coffins,” read a placard held by a protestor. The “coffin” remark may allude to the return of deceased Nepali citizens who work as mercenaries in the Ukraine-Russia war.
The parents of these Nepo Kids are extremely corrupt and have sold out their fellow countrymen in favor of their own self-interest.Transparency International, a nonprofit connected to the World Economic Forum and World Bank, deemed Nepal as the one of the most corrupt nations in Asia. The scandals are numerous. At least $71 million USD was embezzled during the construction of the international airport in Pokhara city. The New York Times reported that Nepali government leaders were preying on the youth through a scheme where they’d promise to secure them refugee status in the United States for a fee.
In January 2025, FORMER Prime Minister Oli’s administration declared an ordinance amending 29 laws, which reversed prior Supreme Court verdicts mainly against illegal land swaps and hoarding. The ruling protected corrupt government officials facing corruption charges. National property was transferred to private ownership for the government elite. Over the summer, there was a massive scandal connected to state-run enterprises issuing fraudulent contracts. The corruption is endless, and the children of these corrupt politicians openly flaunted their family’s unearned wealth online.
The protests began peacefully. The government quickly acted to silence the voice of the people. Social media is one of the last free platforms of speech that permits people to connect instantaneously. The revolution will not be televised, but it will be live streamed across all social media platforms. As the protests grew, the government began to panic and authorities became increasingly aggressive toward protestors until tensions rose to a head and the police began shooting into the crowd. The people of Nepal watched as a young boy in his school uniform was shot in the head by the police.
Revolts are swift and violent. Fueled by anger, the people began to destroy the government at its source. The Parliament building was infiltrated and burned to the ground before Former PM Oli could issue his recognition. Thousands of people livestreamed the event. Angry mobs sought out the politicians whom they believed were responsible for their economic hardships. PM Oli’s residence in Bhaktapur was set on fire, as was the residence of President Ram Chandra Paudel. The wife of Nepal’s largest political party, who also serves as the minister of foreign affairs, was ambushed and beaten in her home. The wife of Nepal’s former prime minister was unable to flee when her home was set ablaze and burned alive. I reported how the minister of finance was chased through the streets, beaten, and paraded around in his underwear before the people tossed him into the river.
(Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba was attacked in her home)
History has shown that these revolutions become extremely violent. Look at what the people did to Benito Mussolini, hanging his disfigured body in the public square. Or in France where the people executed Marie Anointenne who was known for flaunting her wealth in a perceived mockery of the poverty-stricken public. Civil unrest grows, government attempts to contain it with force, and the collective anger of the people implodes like a nuclear weapon. Violence is inevitable when the people feel unheard and have nothing to lose.
Reports are stating that certain dissenting political groups are using the revolution to push their own agenda. Former Prime Minister Prachanda went into hiding when the protests erupted and has been accused of employing bad actors to incite violence and kill his political rivals. Criminal court cases are being destroyed. Prisons have been infiltrated and hundreds of people have been released.
The mainstream media is portraying this as a Gen Z protest over social media because the political elite are scared. In reality, the people collectively rose up against government tyranny and toppled the government within 48 hours. Revolutions are the product of failed governments, corruption, and the refusal of those in power to yield when the cycle has already turned against them. The youth are the first to stand up because they have no vested interest in preserving a corrupt system. They see no future in servitude to debt or a political class that only serves itself.
Nepal’s revolution is a foreshadowing of what is to come elsewhere. It is always the smaller, weaker nations that flip first, sending shockwaves through the system. This is not about left versus right, rich versus poor, or even democracy versus authoritarianism. It is about the collapse in confidence in government itself. That is the real cycle, and it is in motion now.

The Patriot Act was drafted and pushed through with lightning speed, something that could not have been written overnight. This was the beginning of warrantless surveillance, indefinite detention, and a wholesale reversal of constitutional rights. I have said many times: governments do not waste a good crisis. They wait for the right moment to impose measures that would never pass during normal times. Americans may be unaware of the freedoms that have been stripped away from them after October 26, 2001, when the Patriot Act was signed into law.
The Patriot Act, officially titled “the Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism Act of 2001,” provided the government with unlimited surveillance powers. Terrorism became the premise to bypass the checks and balances of the legal system. Need a warrant? One could be obtained in any district or area where terrorism was suspected. Of course, warrantless searches were permitted under the guise of terrorism and deemed “sneak and peek” searches, where the government could enter a business or personal residence immediately and without warning to conduct an investigation.
Neither party has repealed the Patriot Act, and politicians on both sides of the aisle will NEVER relinquish these powers. The Patriot Act destroyed the Fourth Amendment and legally permitted the NSA to spy on all Americans. October 26, 2001, marked the day that the United States of America officially became a surveillance state. We The People were branded as potential terrorists, and “the land of the free” was permanently placed under the watchful eye of government. “The War on Terror” has no clear end or defined enemy. The real target was always domestic — the American people themselves. By creating an atmosphere of fear, Washington justified trillions in spending, the invasion of foreign countries, and the slow strangulation of the very liberties the terrorists supposedly hated.
Surveillance spread to the financial sector, naturally, as the government can control the masses by controlling their spending. The government is legally permitted to seize funds from foreign and domestic bank accounts if terrorism is suspected. As we saw under the Biden Administration, banks openly share transaction data with the government, and the government can mandate that banks halt any activity under the premise of money laundering or terrorism. The government requires banks to file Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) to FinCEN to track any “suspicious” financial activity. The scope is deliberately vague. As mentioned, under the Biden Administration, purchases of Bibles or donations to conservative parties were cause for “suspicion.”
Law enforcement agencies have no barriers to sharing information. In Florida, for example, all law enforcement agencies can see every citizen’s personal data, including medical history and any pharmaceuticals they have been prescribed. They can see where a person lives, has lived, and where they commonly visit. Law enforcement agencies can monitor phone calls, text messages, emails, and internet searches. GPS and cell tower tracking can pinpoint an individual’s current location and any previous movement. As the law as progressed, law enforcement agencies have been provided access to social media activity.
AI technology has enabled the government to utilize facial recognition to identify individuals in crowds or track their day-to-day whereabouts. It is not an exaggeration to say that there are cameras everywhere. Some nations openly promote the use of public surveillance cameras, but most Americans are unaware that they are constantly under the government’s watchful eye.
The Patriot Act was far more than merely increased security at the airport. The true nature of the act was to provide the government with unrestrained power to spy on the people. The government can obtain any banking record without judicial oversight and freeze funds without notice. “Terrorism” or “money laundering” can be used to attack citizens for any reason or without reason. Suspicion is the only criterion, and under the Patriot Act, everyone is considered a terrorist and a threat to the established order.

Thailand has become a test case for the use of biometric data in every facet of life. Facial recognition data is required for any single transfer above 50,000 baht (around $1,580), daily transfers above 200,000 baht, and any international transfers from personal accounts. All major Thai banks, such as Bangkok Bank, Kasikorn (KBank), SCB, Krungthai, and Krungsri, require customers to submit biometric data, and the Bank of Thailand (BOT) provides the general guidelines that these banks must follow.
It may begin with banking and documentation, but the ultimate goal is to develop digital IDs that are stored on a centralized database. The board of Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) proposed that users must submit biometric data to register SIM cards. The rule went into effect in August and applies to everyone in Thailand, including tourists.
The Thai Ministry of Public Health (MOPH), the Thai Red Cross Society, and the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) has implemented the use of biometric data to track undocumented persons. Health agencies claim the technology can identify the spread of disease and assist in providing humanitarian aid and medical services. The MOPH claims the technology is 99.75% accurate. According to the Department of Labour’s Bureau of Alien Workers Administration, over 1 million undocumented migrants were in the nation as of July 2025.
“The application of biometric technology not only improves healthcare, disease prevention and control, medical services, and humanitarian aid with accuracy and inclusivity, but also reflects the protection of human rights and dignity of undocumented people in Thailand. It also creates opportunities for education and research by Thai public health professionals to develop further benefits for the general population,” Health Minister Somsak Thepsuthin stated.
The Thai Red Cross Society is a branch of the global Red Cross agency. Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) claims all personal data will be securely protected, but they have already begun sharing with international agencies.
Thailand adopted digital IDs back in 2023, but they were primarily mandatory for business at the time. Now, Thailand’s National Digital ID system (NDID) is now held by a private-public consortium that holds the identities of over 40 million people. The Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) became mandatory for all travelers on May 1, 2025. Citizens are technically not required to obtain a digital ID but it certainly makes life easier if one wants to access digital wallets, online banking, claim government benefits, and so forth.
The Thai government plans to expand Thailand’s digital ID policy to 1,000 public services within the next two years. All restrictive measures begin with a promise to guarantee safety. It appears optional, then convenient, before the measures are enforced through mandates. I know many people who have fled Thailand in recent years due to increased regulations and massive changes in taxation. Thailand is becoming a case study for the widespread use of biometric software, as government surveillance is becoming the new norm.

The notable revolutions in Nepal include the 1951 Nepalese revolution, the 1990 Nepalese revolution, the Nepalese Civil War from 1996 to 2006, and the 2006 Nepalese revolution. Each of these events played a significant role in shaping Nepal’s political landscape. Nepal has a fairly regular revolutionary cycle in its blood. This one in 2025 is right on schedule. The tension began to escalate as the year 2024 drew to a close.

Nepal’s Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Oli resigned immediately after massive youth protests swept the nation and led to deadly clashes with police that left over 20 dead. Anger over government corruption has been rising. Youth unemployment surpassed 20% and people aged 15 to 40 compose 43% of Nepal’s population. The final straw was a nationwide ban on social media imposed on September 4, 2025. The youth took to the streets to demand immediate change.
Nepal’s Finance Minister, Bishnu Paudel, was chased through the streets by an angry mob. Paudel was beaten, stripped naked, and paraded through the streets in his underwear. RT posted the above video shortly after the incident, although it is unverified whether or not the man in the video is Paudel. PM Oli’s residence in Bhaktapur was set on fire, as was the residence of President Ram Chandra Paudel. Spectators say that the youth were continuously throwing petrol bombs at the residences as they burned to the ground.
Politicians are becoming increasingly concerned over the growing discontent sweeping the world as the cost of living continues to soar. When we examine what has occurred in Nepal, it is not an isolated, random event. Governments are collapsing worldwide due to economic instability. My models have been showing that confidence in governments is collapsing everywhere, from Europe to South America, and Nepal is simply another example of this global trend.
Undeterred by police tear gas, rioters breached Nepal’s Parliament building and burned it to the ground. Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport came to a standstill. The destruction lasted for two days until Oli accepted defeat and allegedly fled the country. Over 90 people have been hospitalized for wounds related to clashes with the police who were far outnumbered by persons and sheer rage.
Nepal has always been a buffer state caught between India and China. Every time we see economic decline, corruption, or outside meddling, the population eventually turns against the political class. The overthrow of the Nepalese government is simply part of this larger cycle of anti-establishment movements that will continue to spread.
Governments fall when the people no longer believe in their competence to govern. It does not matter if the system is a monarchy, a democracy, or a dictatorship—the cycle remains the same. We are heading into 2032, the culmination of the Economic Confidence Model, which marks a period of rising civil unrest, political fragmentation, and the overthrow of governments globally.
Nepal may seem small on the geopolitical map, but its fall is part of the domino effect. From Pakistan to Sri Lanka, from Latin America to Europe, the same pattern is unfolding. The loss of faith in government as an institution has become a worldwide phenomenon and the people are beginning to direct their anger at government rather than against one another.

The new Home Secretary of the United Kingdom is yet another reminder that the UK is a Muslim nation. Shabana Mahmood, a Pakistani woman, is now responsible for England and Wales’s internal affairs, including immigration, national security, and counter-terrorism measures. The issue is not that she is Muslim; rather, the issue is that open border policies have overwritten the history of the UK and permanently altered society.
This is not a one-off as all Muslims are taking office in all major political positions across the UK. The mayor of London, the mayor of Leeds, the mayor of Birmingham, the mayor of Sheffield, the mayor of Oxford– Luton, Oldham, Rochdale, Blackburn, Rotherham, and others—are all Muslim.
Around 46% of young people under 29 years of age in Britain are Muslim, compared to 29% of the general population. Muhammad has been the most popular baby name in the nation for several years. The 2021 England and Wales Census marked the first time that less than half of the population (46.2%; 27.5 million people) identified as Christian. Pew Research Center believes that Muslim women will have more children than Christian women by 2035, and Islam could become the most followed religion in the world. There is nothing inherently wrong with the religion of course, but it is understandable that people want to maintain their own nation’s traditions, religion, and morals.
Around 78% of the Muslim refugees in the UK do not work among the women, and 63% of male migrants also rely on government aid. About 8 in 10 Muslim refugees in the UK now receive free government housing. Asylum seekers are entitled to FREE healthcare from the National Health Service (NHS). “You may be able to get housing and money to support you and your family while you’re waiting to find out if you’ll be given asylum,” the National Asylum Support Service (NASS) promotes on its website. The NASS will pay for housing and free education for all migrants, even those who have been DENIED asylum.
The Labor Party under Starmer has agreed to increase government spending on migrants by 30% this year. Schools across the UK are required to provide Halal-only lunches to accommodate the rapidly growing Muslim population. According to the Halal Times, “The Halal certification process involves a cut to the jugular vein, carotid artery, and windpipe, with the animal being alive and healthy at the time of slaughter. Blood must be fully drained from the carcass, and a Muslim must recite a dedication known as Tamiya or shahada during the slaughtering process.”
There were 1.6 million Muslims living in the UK in 2001. That figure rose to 4 million by 2024, and Muslims now account for 6.7% of England’s population and 2.2% of the population in Wales and Scotland. Repopulation theory is more of a tactic than a theory. Hence, leaders like Starmer are encouraging this massive demographic shift. As it stands, first-generation migrants will compose 25% of the UK’s population by 2035, according to the Centre for Migration Control, and the UK’s overall population will surge to 73 million. It may seem far off, but that is only a decade from now. All Build Back Better nations will be utterly unrecognizable thanks to repopulation tactics.

COMMENT: The comment you posted was correct. Jim Cramer always said bad news is good news. He and everyone else continue to advocate for lower interest rates, and you have shown that when rates decline, so does the economy and stock markets. It looks like Trump is not much better with his constant attack on the Fed.
Joe
ANSWER: I am a trader – not a promoter, academic, or a TV host. When you actually have skin in the game, you cannot trade based on stupid theories. The fact that these people can say that BS time and time again that lower rates are suitable for the economy, makes the word STUPID and a compliment to their mental capability, for they have not yet invented a word to describe their cognitive ability, which seems to be so myopic that they are at the level of an ameba.
I agree, Trump’s attack on the Fed is absolutely dead wrong. The Fed has lowered rates during the Great Depression and every single recession right up to the 2007-2009 recession with ZERO impact whatsoever. No matter how loud I scream, they will NEVER change this propaganda, and they will not only doom the country, but also cause a lot of economic harm to people who act on this propaganda.
The ECB went NEGATIVE on interest rates in 2014 and maintained that until 2022, with ZERO impact on reversing the economic downtrend. They will NEVER learn, and this is what 2032 is all about. Those in power neither understand how the economy functions nor do they care about trying even to figure it out.
No matter what you show a Democrat, it just makes them “feel all warm and fussy” inside to hurt people who have more than they do. They refuse to look at history and show just once where their theories have EVER worked a single time. We have the same entrenched stupidity on the right with this nonsense that lowering rates is good for the economy. We are doomed because of this foolishness on both sides and the REFUSAL even to look to see if this propaganda is right or wrong.
The stock market has NEVER peaked at the same level twice in history. The peak in Call Money was 1899, and the reason was a financial crisis in Britain that forced capital to be recalled from the emerging markets, which was, back then, the USA. The capital outflows led to shortages in cash, causing rates to rise. In 1929, the biggest rally occurred, with rates at their lowest, as capital from around the world concentrated in the USA following World War I.
The goldbugs have told everyone to sell stocks and that only gold will rise. Like the Marxists, it just makes them feel warm and fuzzy inside to hate stocks and preach only gold, but will NEVER investigate what they are saying. This is what makes it so hopeless.
Even during the Great Depression, the most famous analyst was Irving Fisher. He predicted that the market had reached a new plateau and implied it would never crash. He was dead wrong, and his reputation was severely impacted. Irving Fisher’s contemporary public reputation was utterly destroyed by the 1929 crash, primarily because of a famously ill-timed statement.
Galbraith’s socialist philosophy clouded his view of the Great Depression, blaming speculation and the private sector while ignoring the government defaults from Europe and Asia that contributed to the collapse of 9,000 banks. The primary issue in analysis is that people often start with a theory and attempt to prove it, rather than genuinely learning from the data.
Every single BS theory these people espouse is just utter nonsense. They have NEVER looked at markets and are incapable of basic research. They open their mouths and spit out words merely because everyone else does, and they are scared to death of peer review by yet other idiots. Yes, I have fought against the bankers, the Deep State, and various intelligence organizations, and all try to silence me and put out BS, desperate to try to prevent people from simply understanding reality.
Even the complete nonsense that currencies are FIAT and only gold will survive is another absolute piece of raw BS. Again, they just take the Austrian School nonsense and never look at the monetary system at that point in history, when in fact the exchange rates between currencies were purely based on the metal content. There was no real superpower or centralized dominant economy when they were trying to come up with explanations of a process they did not fully understand. The first non-metal monetary system was based on a central ledger system of entries in ancient Egypt. Money was essentially equivalent to wheat that they deposited in a bank, and they were the first to implement a GIRO banking system in the world. You could transfer money from your account to another (GIRO), which did not appear until the Italian bankers of the Middle Ages. The Egyptians did not use coins until they were conquered by Alexander the Great in 332BC. So for thousands of years, it was purely book entries in a bank.
In order for Egypt to engage in international trade, it issued imitations of Athenian Owls. This proved that the value of an Athenian Owl was worth more than the metal content. They could have issued their own coinage, but did not. They imitated the Athenian Owl because that was the recognized currency in international commerce. There was a premium to the metal content or “fiat”; it was backed by Athens itself, not the metal content. Instead, its value comes from the trust people place in the government that issues it and the fact that it is the only legally accepted form of money for paying debts and taxes. The word “fiat” comes from Latin and means “let it be done” or “by decree.” Essentially, the currency has value because the government says it does, or because the people trust that government over others.
The Celts routinely imitated the coinage of Macedonia, starting with the gold of Philip II and then the silver of his son Alexander the Great. Again, this demonstrated that there was a premium to the coinage over and above that of the metal content. This is the very definition of a fiat currency, whose value is based on the fact that the government issues it.
India was the source of the spice trade. They dealt extensively with Rome and Roman coins that circulated in India. They too imitated Roman coinage, and again, the value of the currency was NOT the metal content, but who do you trust? Proof of that statement is here, an Indian imitation gold aureus which weighs nearly 60% more than a genuine gold aureus of Rome.
