EPA Pivots on Dangers of Greenhouse Gases

Climate Change CO2 Global Warming

The Environmental Protection Agency determined in 2009 that greenhouse gases were endangering life on our planet. The agency put forth a study to promote the passing of the Clean Air Act, enabling the government to regulate energy. The EPA under Trump is now seeking to overturn this study as scientists now believe that greenhouse gases are not harmful to humans.

The Supreme Court ruled in Massachusetts v. EPA that the government is required to regulate and monitor carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions, as mandated by the Clean Air Act. The EPA under the Obama Administration declared in 2009 that greenhouse gases posed a serious risk to public health and welfare. In May 2009, Obama implemented the first national policy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from cars and trucks. Since then, every sector using any form of fossil fuel has been targeted by government. The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act under Obama, a much smaller-scale version of the Inflation Reduction Act under Biden, allocated $7 billion to the EPA to clean up the environment. The EPA experienced record-breaking funding in 2010 when it was awarded $10.5 billion to address climate change. The government has since gained control over the entire energy sector, weaponizing an allegedly potential threat to gain control.

The ”endangerment finding” from 2009 may be overturned. “This long-overdue finding cements 2009’s place in history as the year when the United States Government began seriously addressing the challenge of greenhouse gas pollution and seizing the opportunity of clean-energy reform,” then-EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson said in announcing the decision. Reversing the 2009 decision would reverse regulations that the president stated has “imposed trillions of dollars of costs on Americans.”

“The Obama administration said that carbon dioxide, when mixed with a bunch of other well-mixed gasses, greenhouse gasses, that it contributes to climate change. How much? They don’t say… they say that climate change engenders human health, so because of these different mental leaps… then there were all sorts of vehicle regulations that followed,” Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin stated. “This has been referred to as basically driving a dagger into the heart of the climate change religion.”

Zeldin said that the Democrats used climate change scare tactics to “basically regulate out of existence” fossil fuels. He projects this massive regulation effort will save American taxpayers $1 trillion.

“Even if the United States eliminated all of its greenhouse gas emissions, it would have little to no measurable effect on global temperatures,” Daren Bakst, director of the Center for Energy and Environment at the Competitive Enterprise Institute admitted.

Look how far the agency was willing to go to stifle the production of emissions. They were seeking to limit our individual freedoms from banning cars to stoves and far-left climate zealots suggesting the government monitor everyone’s carbon footprint. America lost its energy independence between Obama and Biden and it was all tied into the globalist agenda of the Great Reset. Every nation that has adhered to climate change policies is experiencing an energy crisis for which they have no solution. You simply cannot eliminate fossil fuels without a reliable alternative and you definitely cannot significantly limit carbon emissions without changing life as we know it.

Critics believe the measure is merely to support Big Oil and permit coal and gas plants to pollute the environment. Trump did declare an energy emergency at the start of his presidency, famously saying “drill baby, drill,” as a nudge to begin extracting oil once more. The truth of the matter is that fossil fuels are essential for our survival. The EPA deliberately exploited the threat of greenhouse gases to grant the government authoritative power over energy.

Zelensky Urges Women and Seniors to Enlist

Zelensky.Skulls

Where have we seen this before? President Volodymyr Zelensky is wiping through troops so rapidly that he is encouraging men and women over 60 years of age to enlist in the military. Previously prohibited, Zelensky signed the measure into law under the premise of martial law.

The new law encourages people over 60 to sign up for one-year military contracts if they are cleared to serve. There is now no maximum age of service. The Ukrainian military will place seniors under a two-month probationary period to see if they are fit to fight. I fear where they would place these individuals on the battlefield.

Last April, Zelensky also lowered the draft age from 27 to 25. Casualties outnumbered estimates, and in February 2025, Zelensky implemented one-year military contracts for teens and young adults aged 18 to 24 on a voluntary basis. The youngest and oldest among the population are encouraged to fight voluntarily, for now—again, where have we seen this before in modern history?

The Kyiv Independent recently published an article regarding the manpower shortage. Ukraine began a military campaign to specifically target women. They believe women are discouraged from fighting due to “Soviet-rooted prejudice” and are firing up the propaganda to encourage women to enlist. There are currently 70,000 women serving in Ukraine’s military, but the nation needs more women to replenish the ranks.

UkraineWomenTroops

Ukraine’s military was slated to be around 1 million strong at the beginning of the year, but Zelensky wants to increase that number by 50%. “The Ukrainian army is the largest in Europe. The second place after us (France) is four times smaller than us,” Zelensky attempted to brag. “I think the French have about 200,000. We have 980,000.” Russia allegedly has 1.5 million troops but actual data is opaque.

Zelensky needs everyone in Ukraine to prepare for battle. Children are learning about firearms and ammunition in school. There will come a time when service is no longer voluntary for women, seniors, teens, and young adults. The entire civilian population is expected to sacrifice itself for the deadliest European conflict since World War II, which could have been prevented.

The Disaster of Kallas & Russia’s View odd Events

Posted Jul 29, 2025 by Martin Armstrong

Kaja Kallas displayed her incompetence as she is conflicted by personal hatred of Russians. Despite her catastrophic meeting with China’s High Commissioner for Foreign Relations, she tried to lecture him about EU values and democracy when neither she nor Ursula had been elected. She then demanded that China submit to the rules-based order of the EU and unimaginably demanded that China condemn Russia’s military operation in Ukraine, cease providing support, and use its influence to tell Putin to surrender and stop Russia’s advance westward.

Wang Yi respectfully stated that China was not helping Russia in the conflict with Ukraine. He added that he had no intention of interfering in that conflict. Moreover, he bluntly informed Kallas that China had no intention of standing idly by and watching Russia lose. He stated that China believes that if Russia were defeated, the EU and NATO would turn on China next. It was reported that observers never saw Wang Yi so angry at the arrogance of Kallas.

As Sun Tzu said, you must know your enemy and yourself to be able to succeed. If you do not know either, you will be defeated. Here, Lavrov and he view from a speech just the other day, the Russian interpretation of what is truly going on.

More insanity over Trump’s Ultimatums to Russia

Merkel_Minsk_Buy_Time_to Prepare for wart

As expected, Russia essentially told Trump to shove it. I believe that Trump gave his 10-12 day ultimatum as part of pressure from the EY, which is desperate for war. All I can say is that Trump is playing a perilous game, and he is on the wrong side. If Trump were serious about PEACE, then he should demand that Europe simply honor the Minsk Agreement, and the killing would stop within the hour.

The Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov was gracious. He respectfully said that Moscow has “taken into account President Trump’s statement yesterday.”Effectively, Peskov made it clear that Russia will continue to engage in fighting in Ukraine. Peskov added that Moscow remains “committed to the peace process to resolve the conflict around Ukraine and to ensure our interests in the course of this settlement,” according to TASS.

Zelenskyy Johnson

Let’s be honest here. Is Trump blind? Putin agreed to two peace deals. The first time, Merkel admitted the West lied and had no intention of honoring it. Then another was about to be signed, and Boris Johnson rushed to Kiev to instruct Zelensky that he was not allowed to sign any peace deal. Excuse me, but if I were Putin, there is no way you are going to fool me a third time.

Medvedev Dmitry

While Peskov said that Russia was still interested in rebuilding ties with the United States, the issue is not currently on the table. In a post on X, former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, the deputy chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, said Trump was playing “a game of ultimatums” that could lead to a war involving the United States. This is what I have been warning about. Everyone knows this is NOT a war between Russia and Ukraine. This is a war between Russia and NATO.

US Russia

Medvedev pointed out that “Each new ultimatum is a threat and a step towards war. Not between Russia and Ukraine, but with [Trump’s] own country.”  It was Trump who indicated that he was not interested in more talks with Putin. He said sanctions and tariffs would be used as penalties for Moscow if it did not meet Trump’s demands. Sanctions and tariffs will only further ensure an economic depression for the EU into 2028. Trump has gone off the rails, threatening sanctions on both Russia and buyers of its exports unless progress is made.

Indian_Rupee Y Tech 7 29 25

This will not be simply a trade war. This is the same tactic that FDR used on Japan that led to WWII. So Trump is going to put sanctions on India and China for buying Russian oil? I do not know who is advising Trump, but even threatening this type of action has already resulted in the formation of BRICS. Putting sanctions on India will be a huge mistake. As of mid-2024, India holds about $240 billion in U.S. debt, making it one of the top 15 foreign holders of U.S. Treasury securities. For comparison, China holds around $770 billion. At the same time, India has been adjusting its holdings of U.S. debt, though the available data does not explicitly state large-scale sales. India is promoting rupee-denominated borrowing (e.g., Masala Bonds) and deepening its sustainable debt market (now worth $55.9 billion) to reduce reliance on foreign currency debt. It appears that India is in a position to start dumping US debt if Trump dares to impose sanctions, and this will result in a declining dollar against the rupee from 2025.

I remain concerned that this can backfire and we see Putin replaced by Medvedev, who understands this is a NATO threat to conquer and break up Russia, destroying their country and Kallas of the EU has openly declared.

Must Watch – Tucker Carlson Interviews Richard Werner

Posted originally on CTH on July 29, 2025 | Sundance

This is one of those interviews that simply must be watched in its entirety. It’s long, almost 3 hours, but take the quiet time to watch and absorb the information provided by economist Professor Richard Werner.

Werner discusses something absolutely vital to understand about the nature of economics and the banking system that underpins it. You have often heard me say “there are trillions at stake” when describing the elements aligned against President Trump. Well, Werner gives context to what lies behind those trillions.

Nine years ago, as President Elect Trump won his first election, I wrote about the future of economics and the potential if a Main Street monetary and banking system was created. {GO DEEP} Richard Werner discusses the specific issue of how credit creation by regular banks actually creates money. He’s the first person I have seen speak who really gets it.

There are distinct differences between banks creating money for asset purchases (inflation), consumer purchases (inflation) and GDP growth (Main Street expansion). He simply nails it, and that is why he was put on the CIA radar.

When Werner speaks of the need for two distinct banking systems as a solution to the “inflationary” impact of money created for asset purchases vs GDP growth, he is specifically highlighting the difference between Wall Street money and Main Street money. This, in the largest measure, is exactly why President Trump and Secretary Mnuchin created the dual banking system.  This is what led to the global pandemic as a tool to stop President Trump.

I cannot recommend this interview enough. However, don’t sell yourself short. Find a quiet place, quiet time, and take notes as you listen to Richard Werner outline the true and unspoken nature of how money is created.

When you understand what Werner is saying, everything the FED and Central Banks do starts to make sense. WATCH:

Behind what Werner is explaining you will find the motives to oppose President Trump.  Werner doesn’t draw the connection to Trump’s policies, but when you hear him outline the history and the problem you will get it.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and USTR Jamieson Greer Discuss Trade Negotiations With China

U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer hold a joint press conference in Stockholm after concluding the third-round of trade talks with Chinese officials.

The discussion and press availability covered U.S-China trade negotiations, economic cooperation and whether President Trump will meet Xi Jinping. Key moments include questions on tariffs, supply chains, and Beijing diplomacy. WATCH:

Treasury Secretary Bessent notes as the U.S. economy continues strengthening, and as each trade deal with the U.K, Japan, ASEAN nations and Europe have cemented, the talks between the U.S. and China become more substantive.

With each global trade partner agreeing to terms of access to the USA market more pressure is naturally created on China to complete negotiations and affirm their position as supplier to the world’s largest market.

Zelenskyy on Ropes – Ukranian Regime Grabs More Authoritarian Power Then Backtracks When Protests Erupt

Posted originally on CTH on July 29, 2025 | Sundance

The terms Ukraine and government corruption are synonymous regardless of who is funding the schemes.  After Volodymyr Zelenskyy grabbed more power by stripping two key anti-corruption agencies, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP), of their independence, protests erupted.

European leaders immediately noticed the intent of the power move and threatened Zelenskyy with a withdrawal of support. The current dictatorship of Zelensky and his small team then quickly reversed course.  However, the damage is done, and once again Ukranian corruption is center stage.

It doesn’t matter how much western intelligence agencies and pro-Ukraine western govt officials try to hide the nature of the duck represented by Zelenskyy by calling him a swan, eventually the quacking returns – the mask drops.

UKRAINE – […] Some also cautioned that the agitation could spark a popular uprising like the one that toppled then-President Viktor Yanukovych in 2014. “We are now in the face of the most dangerous development in all the years since Maidan,” wrote Sevgil Musayeva, editor-in-chief of the Ukrainska Pravda newspaper. And like others, she hazarded that Zelenskyy’s powerful Chief of Staff Andriy Yermak was behind the move, amid signs that NABU is preparing cases against presidential insiders.

Eventually, with public uproar mounting, Ukraine’s president bowed to the pressure and agreed to restore the independence of the agencies — a new law turning back the clock is meant to be voted on Thursday.

Among the insiders currently under investigation are former Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov and former Deputy Head of the Office of the President Rostyslav Shurma. Shurma was dismissed last year, after it emerged his brother was receiving green subsidies from the Ukrainian government for solar plants operating in Russian-occupied Donbas. Coincidentally, Shurma’s Munich home was raided by NABU investigators and German police in mid-July.

“It is critical not to lose the unity. To listen to people, to have dialogue, and so on,” Zelenskyy told reporters at a press briefing on Friday, explaining his about-face and consequent decision to restore the independence of the agencies in question.

QUACK!

[…] some civil society leaders think targeting the agencies is a sign that Zelenskyy and his clan-like group of aides are starting to panic about his poor polling numbers. As it stands, his chances of winning the next election, when it is eventually held, appear remote, with former armed forces commander General Valery Zaluzhny, who Zelenskyy fired after clashing over war strategy, seen as most likely to get elected.

[…] The street protests in Ukraine have put Zelenskyy on notice, and they’re an indication that patience is wearing thin. (read more)

Everywhere you travel in Europe the one constant amid the ordinary working-class is their knowledge that Ukraine is a bastion of political corruption. The summer coastline of Europe is full of Ukrainian govt officials and very wealthy Ukranian businessmen spending money, a lot of money, that everyone knows is coming from USA and European subsidy.

Visible Ukraine corruption is a joke amid those who cannot afford pretending and those in the service industries in the vacation resorts all along the European coast.

Making it all worse, is the in-your-face aspect of it very visible from the Ukrainians staying in luxury hotels, villas and opulent residences while sneering through their designer sunglasses. “Meh, or she, is Ukrainian,” is the simple response to the rudeness when noted.

There may be no love for Vladimir Putin within the muscle memory of some older populations within some former Soviet states.  However, amid the working-class and the portion of the younger generation self-inoculated from western propaganda, opinion of Zelenskyy is even lower.

Eastern European support for the Zelenskyy regime is akin to U.S. support during the Biden regime. The pretending exists in media and government officials’ proclamations only.

Don’t kid yourself, the politicians know it.

Canadian Officials Continue Wondering Why Trump Administration Projects Ambivalence Toward U.S-Canada Trade Deal

Posted originally on CTH on July 29, 2025 | Sundance

The reality of the U.S-Canada economic relationship and the position of President Donald Trump is not that difficult to understand if you take all the disparate datapoints and quotes from Trump and put them into context.

During a White House meeting with Mark Carney, President Trump essentially told the Canadian Prime Minister why he was in no hurry to get to a deal with Canada.

The 35% tariffs on non-USMCA goods are going to trigger on August 1st, because the main priority of Trump -looking toward Canada- is to dissolve the USMCA.

During the May 6th oval office meeting with Carney, President Trump was discussing the USMCA and said:  “As you know it terminates fairly shortly. It gets renegotiated fairly shortly.” … “This was a transitional deal, and we’ll see what happens, we’re going to start renegotiating that” … “I don’t know if it serves a purpose anymore.”  …. “And the biggest purpose it served was, we got rid of NAFTA.”

To understand why President Trump wants to dissolve the USMCA {SEE HERE}.  To understand the technical value of dissolving the USMCA {SEE HERE}.  It’s not a complicated economic analysis; it’s common sense.

Currently, approximately 60% of the traded goods and services between the U.S. and Canada are covered by the USMCA; the remaining 40% will be hit by tariffs on August 1st at a 35% rate.

When the USMCA is renegotiated, predictably dissolved in favor of two bilateral trade agreements – one for Mexico and one for Canada, all of the U.S-Canada trade sectors will be part of the enlarged free trade negotiation.  As a result, there is absolutely no motive to engage in trade discussions now.

♦ President Trump’s position is essentially to talk about the details when the USMCA is dissolved; hence, the ambivalence.

Politico is noting the Canadian trade team simply doesn’t understand this. “[D]espite months of back and forth, the terms for a deal have not yet been set, a senior government source said, with the White House informing the Canadian side that Trump is more focused on securing deals with other partners like India.”

(Politico cont..) […] Earlier this month, Canada conceded that any deal with Trump is likely to include tariffs.

Carney’s government wants stability around the tariffs Trump invoked using Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act.

They are crushing Canada’s auto, steel, aluminum and forestry industries. Trump also plans to hit imported copper with 50 percent tariffs starting Aug. 1 — with semiconductor and pharmaceutical imports likely to follow.

Canada ultimately wants the tariffs eliminated or lowered to a fixed level that doesn’t fluctuate, the senior government official said. “If we know what world we’re going into, then we can have better plans and policies to attract investment.”

Canada’s premiers say the unpredictability is punishing the economy.

“Private investment is not growing because everybody’s on pause,” Quebec Premier François Legault told reporters last week. “They are waiting to see what will happen. I’ve been in business — it’s about the worst thing you can have is uncertainty.” (read more)

The certainty the Canadians are looking for can be found easily if they stop pretending.

(1) U.S. tariffs against non-USMCA products from Canada will go into effect on August 1st.  (2) As soon as the USMCA is reopened, it will be dissolved.  (3) After the USMCA dissolution, a bilateral free trade agreement between the USA and Canada will be negotiated.

Every current effort by Canada to change the nature of the trade system, between now and the reopening of the USMCA (to dissolve it), is futile.

Again, I’m not exactly sure why this reality is so challenging for the Canadian govt to understand.

“So, you’re saying there’s a chance.”
