If the GOPe is successful in blocking Trump (through all the trickery identified by Sundance) and picks Jeb Bush as the candidate then that guarantees that the Democrat will win be it Hillary or Sanders. Trump is very very good at deal making or negotiations — so what to you think politics is — getting people to believe you; which means that you have to give results! Politicians just complain and ask for more power or money but they never deliver anything. Few people today think that the government is doing anything useful. Trump not being a politician and being a successful business man gives them hope and there is no one else in either party that can do that — because they are politicians!
