Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has won a $1.375 billion settlement from Google as a result of the state suing the tech company for continued privacy violations. [Press Release Here]
TEXAS – […] In 2022, Attorney General Paxton sued Google for unlawfully tracking and collecting users’ private data regarding geolocation, incognito searches, and biometric data. After years of aggressive litigation, Attorney General Paxton agreed to settle Texas’s data-privacy claims against Google for an amount that far surpasses any other state’s claims for similar violations.
To date, no state has attained a settlement against Google for similar data-privacy violations greater than $93 million. Even a multistate coalition that included forty states secured just $391 million—almost a billion dollars less than Texas’s recovery.
“In Texas, Big Tech is not above the law. For years, Google secretly tracked people’s movements, private searches, and even their voiceprints and facial geometry through their products and services. I fought back and won,” said Attorney General Paxton. “This $1.375 billion settlement is a major win for Texans’ privacy and tells companies that they will pay for abusing our trust. I will always protect Texans by stopping Big Tech’s attempts to make a profit by selling away our rights and freedoms.” (more)

QUESTION: There seems to be a heated debate about hidden chambers below the pyramids. You are an ancient scholar. Could this be the legendary Halls of Amenti?
Jed
ANSWER: I think they call the alleged discovery fake news because there might be a network beneath the pyramids, but some associate it with the legendary Halls of Amenti. That is the problem.
I do not believe that the legendary Halls of Amenti are physical. I believe that they were symbolic of our journey through life. The Halls of Amenti are what we enter and pass through, beginning with ignorance until we reach the “Omega Point” (later referred to as “Noosphere”), which was first coined by Pierre Teilhard de Chardin. This is the journey through life between ignorance and our attainment of this Knowledge/Omega Point, as we possess the knowledge required to complete the journey from our physical being to the Soul.
Reincarnation happens from within the Halls of Amenti when we are sent back into a new physical body until we learn and get it right. This is similar to Asian Buddhism. The only passage through the Halls of Amenti necessitates combining knowledge, wisdom, and a complete lack of Karma – then we need not return. I believe that was what Buddha prayed for – not to have to return. That would mean this is HELL, and if we are good, we get to leave and enter HAVEN—interesting view of life and religious take on this experience. It seems to be more akin to Asian, and my theory is that Egyptian writing is images/pictorial, which is how Asian languages developed. Western languages came from the alphabet introduced by the Phoenicians. I believe this stems from the divide between Eastern and Western views.
Thoth was the Egyptian deity of the Moon, wisdom, knowledge, writing, hieroglyphs, science, magic, art, and judgment. Unfortunately, early Christian writers exaggerated most religions because anyone who was not a Christian had to be a pagan. One of the primary reasons that Christianity spread was that it had a familiar storyline. Zeus sent his son, Hercules, to help mankind, so it was not a completely strange idea. In Egypt, the legend of Osiris, as told by the Greek author Plutarch, was that Osiris was slain or drowned by Seth, who tore the corpse into 14 pieces and flung them over Egypt. Eventually, Isis and her sister Nephthys found the pieces, wrapped them to get them together, and buried all the pieces, except the phallus/penis, thereby giving new life to Osiris, who thenceforth remained in the underworld as ruler and judge. His son Horus successfully fought against Seth, avenging Osiris and becoming the new king of Egypt. The idea of resurrection was why the Egyptians mummified their bodies. So, many of the ideas of Christianity were not foreign to many cultures.
All the various beings that the Christians called “gods” were more like superheroes. They were not believed to have been gods of creation. Each was assigned some duty, like Neptune/Poseidon ruled the sea, but did not create it. Someone would go to the temple of Neptune/Poseidon and bring an offering before they set sail, begging for a safe journey, and please don’t mess with me. This stood in contrast to Christianity, but over time, Christians also created saints to pray to for specific things, not unlike the ancients. Saints are not considered to be gods, either – intermediaries.

This story in The Atlantic that secret war plans were disclosed to known anti-Trump writer Jeffrey Goldberg, who was accidentally added to the group, is falling apart. The Atlantic is not a respected publication, and Goldberg is by no means a true journalist when he promotes only one side of politics – that is, abusing the First Amendment to indoctrinate others into your political philosophy. Journalists should be like judges – UNBIASED. We have corrupt judges, and they should be disbarred.
John Ratcliffe is generally respected on both sides of the aisle, except the questionable Sen. Michael Bennet (D-CO), who should be removed from office because he does not represent the country, only his party’s interests, and certainly not all of the people of his state. He loves grandstanding and distorting facts for a party that is collapsing. Ratcliffe made it clear there were no war plans and that this was not classified communication, but Signal is approved for governmental communications. Even Edward Snowden uses Signal because it is encrypted.
The US District Judge John Bates, who ruled that federal health agencies USAID must restore information regarding transgender issues that was removed by Trump’s executive order regarding gender ideology, had an undisclosed conflict of interest that should be criminal. Judge Bates’ wife, Carol Rhees, who founded a nonprofit, has allegedly received funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). If this is true, it is criminal!
Between Journalists and Judges who are too compromised to do their jobs, they should be imprisoned to enjoy the tax-free living where you get to eat food that comes into federal prisons marked “NOT FIT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.” The United States is doomed because people like these two examples do not care about the country. This is about self-interest,s and in the old days, that would be called at least “un-American” activity.
Abraham Lincoln shut down such media and arrested journalists for fakes news with an Executive Order. Can you imagine is Trump did that today? They would call him a Nazi Fascist and probably a dicator/communist.

Tariffs are on, tariffs are off, tariffs are delayed—the confusion surrounding world trade has Americans on edge. The University of Michigan’s sentiment survey for March shows a massive plunge in consumer confidence “across all groups by age, education, income, wealth, political affiliations, and geographic regions.”
Consumer sentiment dipped 11% for the month to 57,9, marking the third consecutive monthly decline and the lowest level since historically high inflation in 2022. Americans believe inflation will soon rise to 4.9%, an increase from the 4.3% predicted last month.
“Many consumers cited the high level of uncertainty around policy and other economic factors; frequent gyrations in economic policies make it very difficult for consumers to plan for the future, regardless of one’s policy preferences,” Joanne Hsu, the survey’s director, said in a release.
Spending patterns mimic this drop in confidence as consumer spending declined in January 2025 for the first time in two years. There is far too much uncertainty in terms of policy, but worse, there is extreme uncertainty surrounding the current cost of living that does not seem to be easing for the average person.
We are in a period of stagflation. During periods of stagflation, the prices of goods and services increase while buying power decreases. Consumers end up spending more on less. Some people have a tough time understanding that we are in a massive deflationary spiral; they think that rising prices mean inflation and not deflation. Then, they mistake stagflation for deflation and wonder why people are spending more on less. They only see prices, not disposable income, and indeed not economic growth and unemployment.
Most expect to see higher prices with tariffs. Then the lack of confidence becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy where we do not see growth as businesses and consumers refrain from investing. It is all about CONFIDENCE.
