A federal judge in the Western District of Pennsylvania had ruled that Governor Tom Wolfe’s dictates, decrees and rules were/are unconstitutional restrictions on liberty.
U.S. District Judge William Stickman IV concluded the governor’s stay at home orders, limits on gatherings and closure of “non life-sustaining” businesses violated citizens’ Constitutional rights. The judge was responding to a lawsuit brought by a group of Pennsylvania businesses.
“The Constitution cannot accept the concept of a ‘new normal’ where the basic liberties of the people can be subordinated to open-ended emergency mitigation measures. Rather, the Constitution sets certain lines that may not be crossed, even in an emergency.” ~ Judge Stickman [full pdf below]
The well-thought ruling, while accepting and appreciating the challenges presented to government, finds the arbitrary and capricious definitions/applications of rules amount to ever-changing dictates that infringed on basic constitutional rights without any due process in place. Full ruling below.
(Reuters) […] Ruling on a lawsuit brought by business owners and Republican politicians, U.S. District Judge William Stickman IV, a Trump appointee, said the restrictions were executed with good intentions but were arbitrary and violated individual rights.
While some of the limits have been lifted since the lawsuit was filed in May, the Democratic governor has maintained some restrictions on gatherings and on bars and restaurants.
The Wolf administration was reviewing the ruling, a spokesperson told Reuters. (read more)

[Transcript] – THE PRESIDENT: Well, thank you very much. This is a great honor. And this is a beautiful aircraft we’re looking at. Look at that beautiful, very expensive plane — for good reason.
Today it’s my profound honor to award seven extraordinary soldiers with the Distinguished Flying Cross for their remarkable courage to rescue their fellow citizens. I want to very much thank Major General Matthew Beevers for being with us today. Thank you, General. Thank you very much. Thank you, General, very much. It’s a great honor to see you.
I want to welcome — and please, sit down. Families, please, sit down. You’re all very proud of these gentlemen, I think. Right? I think. Is anybody not proud of their husband? Is anybody not proud? No? Good. Then we’ll proceed. (Laughter.)
Welcome to Chief Warrant Officers Joseph Rosamond, Kipp Goding, Irvin Hernandez, Brady Hlebain, Ge Xiong; and Sergeants George Esquivel and Cameron Powell. Thank you very much. And I will say that it’s such an honor to be in your presence. You’ll hear a story shortly that was very inspiring to me and to everybody else, and that’s why these are very important medals. And it’s great to be with you.
Joining us are also warriors, but warriors of a different type. They’re called “great congressmen,” and they’re from your area. Doug LaMalfa. Thank you, Doug, very much. Appreciate it. Tom McClintock. Thanks, Tom. Doing a great job. And Greg Walden. And we’ll miss you, Greg. I can’t believe you’re not going to be there. He’s retiring undefeated. Nobody would defeat him. And — but it’s a great honor. And you — it’s really been fantastic working with Greg. We worked on something in particular: Right to Try. Right, Greg? And we got it done. After 44 years, we got it done. So, thank you very much.
Just over one week ago, these brave pilots and crew members of the California Army National Guard embarked on a harrowing mission. As the sun set on September 5th, they boarded two helicopters that are behind me. Then, they flew into blazing flames, raging wind — and it was raging — and blinding smoke to rescue families who were trapped by the massive Creek Fire at the Mammoth Pool Campground.
While they were on the way to the campground, the crew received word from state and local officials and headquarters that it was far too dangerous to continue the mission. “Turn back.” But they decided to continue anyway, knowing they might not return. They knew that people were in danger — great danger.
As night set in, they could see almost nothing through the miles of dense smoke. Using their night goggles and their expert navigation skill, they reached the camp. They found the stranded families — many of whom were badly burned and injured — and they loaded them, as many as they could, onto the two helicopters. Then they made the perilous flight back to the base.
As soon as they unloaded the passengers, they again risked their lives and flew back into the blazing fire to rescue more victims. Their superior said, “You cannot do this. You cannot do it again.” They did it.
The smoke had become even more overpowering, yet they returned a third time. After 10 grueling hours, they completed their mission, having saved the lives of an astounding 242 people. We are proud of them. (Applause.) Wow. That’s inc- — that’s an incredible story. And I spoke to some people that really didn’t want you to do it. They didn’t want you to go back on those flights.
To each of you: Your unyielding determination lifts our nation. You’re what makes our nation great. And we thank you very much. Thank you very much. Incredible job.
Over the last week, these devoted soldiers have continued to rescue more stranded individuals from danger. In fact, less than 48 hours after their rescue at Mammoth Pool, they flew to another treacherous mission. On the first two attempts, they were forced to turn around and they were advised to abort their mission. “You must abort the mission.” But they chose to try a third time, at great risk to their own lives. Through tremendous skill and incredible valor, they saved 50 people from absolute imminent danger.
Our nation is strong because of remarkable individuals like these service members. In the midst of our greatest trials and biggest challenges, America prevails because of the brave and selfless patriots who risk everything so that they may save lives of people, in many cases, that they don’t know. They have no idea who they are. It’s like law enforcement: They save the lives of people that, for the most part, they have no idea who they are, but they’re so determined to do it.
Today, our country honors their courage, and we are inspired by their example, and we thank God for the blessing and all of our blessings that you’re safe. Our nation has really benefited by your bravery.
And on behalf of our great nation, I thank you very much. As your President, I thank you very much. Great job. (Applause.)
And now I’d like to ask the military aide come forward and read the citations. Please.
Okay, thank you.
MILITARY AIDE: Attention — attention to orders: The President of the United States hereby awards the Distinguished Flying Cross to Chief Warrant Officer 5 Joseph Rosamond, Chief Warrant Officer 5 Kipp Goding, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Brady Hlebain, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Irvin Hernandez, Warrant Officer 1 Ge Xiong, Sergeant George Esquivel Jr., and Sergeant Cameron Powell of the California Army National Guard for distinguished acts of heroism and extraordinary achievement in aerial flight on September 5th, 2020.
The brave actions and superior airmanship of these soldiers resulted in the successful rescue of 242 adults and children from the rapidly developing Creek Fire in Central California. Their actions are in keeping with the highest military traditions of selfless service, honor, and personal — personal courage, and reflects a great credit upon themselves, the 40th Combat Aviation Brigade, the California Army National Guard, and the United States Army.
An interesting report from One America News Network highlights a shift in Minnesota similar to the recent shift in Wisconsin. Due to increased violence from Joe Biden’s Marxist supporters, the Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Union has withdrawn their support for Democrat candidates and are now shifting to support Republicans.
.
Additionally, as noted in the report, Civiqs polling shows overall support for the Black Lives Matter movement is shifting rapidly, especially in the areas where Biden Marxists are engaged in violence and riots. [Polling Result Here]
Thus, it is time for a new award to be created that recognizes true achievements and not virtue signaling. This award should be called the Reagan Peace Prize
For over one hundred years, the Nobel Peace Prize has been awarded. In that time, this honor has been viewed as the ultimate prize for any political leader. Recipients are supposed to be great diplomats who have brokered historic peace agreements. In contrast, the recipients are often left-wing politicians who have a suitable political agenda for the five-person Nobel Peace Prize committee.
Despite their efforts to end the plague of communism in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, neither Pope John Paul II nor Ronald Reagan received the Nobel Peace Prize. Instead, it was awarded to Mikhail Gorbachev, a communist dictator who was pushed into reform by the military buildup of the United States and the moral courage of President Reagan, Pope John Paul II, and others.
Neither Pope John Paul II nor Ronald Reagan received the Nobel Peace Prize
The Nobel Peace Prize has also been awarded to a Palestinian terrorist leader, Yasser Arafat, and a corrupt U.N. Secretary General, Kofi Annan. Former liberal Democrat President Jimmy Carter received the award, as did former Democratic presidential candidate, Al Gore. Even though he has gained tremendous financial benefits for promoting the issue of “global warming” and made a slew of inaccurate predictions, the committee bestowed the honor on Gore for “efforts to build up and disseminate greater knowledge about man-made climate change.”
The worst decision ever made by the Nobel Peace Prize committee was to give the award to President Barack Obama in 2009. The honor was presented to Obama just a few months into his administration before he had accomplished anything of significance. As his tenure continued, Obama proved to be a total failure in foreign policy, brokered no peace deals and created tremendous division and racial conflict in his own country.
Obama took advantage of the “Arab Spring” movement to help install a Muslim Brotherhood leader in Egypt, Mohammed Morsi, who was later convicted for inciting violence and arresting and torturing protesters. Obama also created tremendous instability in Libya by advocating the toppling of Muammar Gaddafi, who was cooperating with Western nations and had forsaken nuclear weapons. Since his overthrow, Libya has been a cesspool of terrorism and attacks like the one on our consulate in Benghazi have occurred with frequency.
Fortunately, Barack Obama is no longer the President of the United States and the country has a leader, Donald Trump, who has achieved tremendous foreign policy accomplishments. President Trump has lessened hostilities with an outlaw regime, North Korea, and conducted several summits with their unhinged dictator. While no peace agreement has been achieved, North Korea is no longer sending missiles over Japan or other neighboring countries.
President has achieved historic peace agreements
The President is working feverishly to end the war in Afghanistan and is bringing home troops from Iraq and Syria. He does not believe in “endless wars” and wants to focus on the needs of the United States of America and not nation building.
In recent weeks, the President has achieved historic peace agreements. First, a pact was signed normalizing relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This is the first peace deal involving Israel in 25 years. This agreement was followed by another peace agreement between Israel and Bahrain. It is hoped that other Arab nations will soon follow and recognize the state of Israel.
The President also brokered an economic agreement between Serbia and Kosovo, ending 21 years of conflict between those nations. In addition, Serbia agreed to move their embassy to Jerusalem and Kosovo officially recognized Israel.
In the span of a few weeks, the Trump administration has convinced three Muslim majority nations to officially recognize Israel. It seems peace is breaking out over all the region, which is exactly the opposite of what occurred during the Obama years.
For these significant achievements, President Trump has been nominated twice for the Nobel Peace Prize. One nomination was submitted by Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a four-term member of the Norwegian Parliament. He cited the Trump administration’s role in brokering peace between the UAE and Israel. In his nomination letter, Tybring-Gjedde noted “this agreement could be a game-changer that will turn the Middle East into a region of cooperation and prosperity.”
For his work in securing an agreement between Serbia and Kosovo, the President was also nominated by Magnus Jacobsson, a member of the Swedish Parliament. Both leaders recognize the historic nature of what President Trump and his administration has achieved.
Not surprisingly, the far-left wing media in our country is either ignoring the nominations or calling for the elimination of the Nobel Peace Prize. A staff writer for The Atlantic, the liberal magazine that just finished trashing the President in a piece filled with anonymous sources, claimed the Trump nominations were “wacky” and it was time for the Nobel Peace Prize committee to “shut it down.” This writer wants to end the prize before, heaven forbid, the President receives international recognition for his accomplishments.
Of course, no one on the left needs to worry because there is no way the Nobel Peace Prize will be awarded to President Trump. He is not a globalist, believes in national sovereignty, wants strong borders and is not a proponent of international climate change agreements. Trump is a conservative who is pursuing the Reagan doctrine of “peace through strength” by rebuilding our military while bringing home our troops from wars that have been raging for 19 years.
Despite his real foreign policy triumphs, President Trump will not win the Nobel Peace Prize. He does not share the liberal ideology of the five-person prize committee.
Thus, it is time for a new award to be created that recognizes true achievements and not virtue signaling. This award should be called the Reagan Peace Prize, named after another conservative Republican President, who was ignored by the Nobel Peace Prize Committee. Reagan brought peace to millions of people after the collapse of the “evil empire.” He truly helped the cause of freedom and promoted peace throughout the world. Trump is doing the same thing; it is time he is credited.
President Trump’s announcement on September 11 that Israel would shortly be signing a peace treaty with a fourth Arab State—Bahrain—and possibly several others very soon—has triggered a spiteful response from Saeb Erekat, Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).
Trump offered the Palestinians a lifeline
“Bahrain has agreed to join Israel and the United Arab Emirates … at the White House on Tuesday [September 15 –ed]. So they’ll be here on Tuesday for the signing of the Abraham Accords. The significance of the signing will be elevated from an already historic breakthrough to one representing a previously unthinkable regional transformation. And that’s exactly what it is. It’s unthinkable that this could happen, and so fast.”
Trump emphasised his considerable achievements:
When I took office, the Middle East was in a state of absolute chaos. I’ve restored trust with our regional partners, and together we’ve eliminated the ISIS caliphate 100 percent; isolated the radicals who pervert Islam and sow instability. Today, nations across the region and throughout the world are joining together, united in their determination to build a better future, free from the evils which perpetuate terror. And I think you see that. I think you see that happening very, very strongly.
Trump offered the Palestinians this lifeline:
“I think the Palestinians are going to end up doing something that’s going to be very smart for them. And all their friends are coming into this, and they want to come into it—they want to come into it very badly.
And I can see a lot of good things happening with respect to the Palestinians, which would be really wonderful. Whether you are on their side or not on their side, people want to see it all brought to an end, and brought to an end quickly. So that’s going to be very important.”
Erekat’s vitriolic personal attack on Trump’s son-in-law Kushner
Erekat’s reply—reported by the Palestine News and Information Agency—was reprehensible:
”[Erekat] said that this free normalization is bizarre as it comes through Jared Kushner, senior advisor to US President Donald Trump, who is a mixture of ignorance and an extremist Zionist who believes that the historic land of Israel is from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea and that the Arab regimes are bound by a peace treaty even though they are not at war with Israel, rather only the Palestinian people are at war with Israel.”
Erekat’s vitriolic personal attack on Trump’s son-in-law Kushner has got Jew-hatred written all over it and will backfire badly.
”[Erekat] stressed that what is required is to drain the occupation quagmire as stipulated in the Arab Peace Initiative. As for normalization before this is done, then it is accepting that Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre remain under Israeli sovereignty, which was what came in the so-called “deal of the century.” This is a major treachery.
Trump is rapidly advancing peace between the Arabs and the Jews
Regarding what happened in the meeting of Arab foreign ministers held virtually on Wednesday, Erekat said that the Arab League approved all the decisions except the one that condemns those who deviate from the Arab Peace Initiative, which some countries have objected to, and therefore it was dropped by Palestine so that no one will go to Washington to participate in the normalization steps or support them and say they went with an Arab or Palestinian cover.”
Trump is rapidly advancing peace between the Arabs and the Jews at a pace never before seen in the last 100 years.
Whilst Trump triumphs—the recalcitrant and rejectionist PLO continues to dig its own grave.

House Intelligence Committee ranking member Devin Nunes discusses the conduct of the Weissmann/Mueller investigation and their blatant destruction of iPhone content to cover their tracks. Within the interview Nunes hits on a very key aspect that doesn’t get enough attention when he says of congress “we don’t have handcuffs or guns.”
This was/is a frequent point made repeatedly in my own contact with House and Senate investigators. All of the information and evidence gathered doesn’t amount to anything if the DOJ and FBI leadership just simply refuse to do anything about it; which leads to the issue with AG Barr saying he will not accept any information from within a political silo.
If, due to his concerns over political optics, the United States Attorney General will not accept, or act upon, any information or evidence from congress;… well, then what exactly is the purpose of a congressional investigation? Information without action is antithetical to its purpose. Democrats use information/evidence from anyone (see Vindman and Adam Schiff), but Republicans do not (see Senator Graham). It is infuriating.
White House Senior Trade and Manufacturing Policy Advisor, Peter Navarro, appears with Maria Bartiromo to discuss the ongoing white house economic policy to continue recovering American jobs and manufacturing. Additionally, Navarro discusses the China conflict of interest carried by the Biden campaign.
Texas Senator Ted Cruz appears for an interview with Maria Bartiromo to discuss his latest book and the supreme court stakes in the 2020 election. Additionally, Senator Cruz discusses his take on the current political dynamic.
