Looking at this data it could be inferred that there is a long cycle of cold to warm and back to cold of around 1,000 years — and the extension of that is we are in a long term tern up to the next peak of somewhere around 2150. Then it will turn down again.

UPDATE: In a recent paper, the climate scientist authors refer not to the onset of the Dark Ages Cold Period (c. A.D. 450-950), but to a period of “increased climate variability”. (This variability refers to variations in the hydroclimatic cycle.) The BBC uses the term “climate instability”, which is an amusing term because, of course, the climate is inherently unstable and largely unpredictable. There have been warm periods and cold periods, as well as prolonged droughts and flooding rains, throughout history, and they have been outside of our control or influence.
The paper’s abstract insists that the recent global warming (assuming they mean since the industrial era c. A.D. 1760) is unprecedented, despite acknowledging that past extremes of drought and flood have exceeded anything in the present. From my perspective, mankind has lived in FEAR OF REALITY for 500 years.
The current AGW scare is a continuation of an irrational response almost 500 years ago to the report by Copernicus in 1543 that Earth and the other planets all orbit a giant fountain of energy at the gravitational center of the solar system.
Precise measurements and observations on the Sun and other parts of the solar system show that this fountain of energy is the Creator, Destroyer & Sustainer of every atom, life and planet in the entire Solar System [1].
The fountain of energy in the Sun’s core is powered by neutron repulsion, the source of energy in cores of
1. All atoms heavier than 150 amu, like Uranium
2. Some planets, like Jupiter
3. Ordinary stars, like the Sun
4. Galaxies, like the Milky Way
5. The now expanding Universe
Mankind cannot control, but must not ignore or live in fear of the benevolent and powerful solar pulsar that created and sustains every atom, life and world in the solar system today.

From my p.o.v., AGW is the antithesis of the Enlightenment values that drove Europe and America from the 1700s to the 1950s. We are now reverting to a pre-industrial society, intellectually speaking.
