The pundits and politicians and the advisers have not figured out why Trump does what he does; and much of it is setting up someone or some group for a later attack. As any financial person knows the balance sheet or net worth statements tell way more than an income statement so Trump is right he has told them all they need to know and he will play the IRS audit angle to his advantage since we know the IRS is a way those in power get to a person and make them do what they want them to do. I would be willing to bet that Trump had every angle figured before he declared he was a candidate. Trump is light years ahead of the corrupt pack of politicians.
