Have Journalists become Traitors to the United States?

Those in management at most of the mainstream media should be dragged from their offices and charged with conspiracy to overthrow the United States government and to eradicate the US. Constitution. The Washington Post displays its motto “Democracy Dies in Darkness” and indeed they are at war against the United States just as Klaus Schwab and his World Economic Forum which is out to remove the United States as a superpower and transfer that status to the United Nations. Their report, along with CNN, New York Times, ABC, NBC, and CBS along with most others, are indeed conspiring to overthrow the United States and if they were put on trial using their own words, any unbiased jury would find them guilty.

The Supreme Court’s key decision in 1964 in New York Times Co. v. Sullivan, 376 U.S. 254 (1964), which has since protected many media outlets from lawsuits. It is time that it should be scrapped along with total immunity for vaccine companies. If you buy a car and you turn on the ignition and it blows up, is not the auto-manufacturer liable? In every other field, companies are responsible for the products they produce. Why is the media and vaccine companies have any immunity whatsoever? In that case, Supreme Court reversed a libel damages judgment against the New York Times. The decision established the important principle that the First Amendment guarantees freedom of speech and press may protect libelous words about a public official in order to foster vigorous debate about government and public affairs. To sustain a claim of defamation or libel, the First Amendment requires that the plaintiff show that the defendant knew that a statement was false or was reckless in deciding to publish the information without investigating whether it was accurate.
Facts

I believe that the deliberate bias in the media is historically the first step taken by any potential authoritarian or dictatorial regime is to gain control of communications, especially the delivery of news. The one-party control of the press and media in the United States and worldwide is a serious threat to a viable democracy and human rights. This is giving support for the unelected movement of Klaus Schwab and his World Economic Forum working with the United Nations to usurp control of the global environment without ever allowing the people to vote. The media is simply taken up the role of propaganda agent no different than Pravda during the communist days of Russia.

The First Amendment guarantees a free press to foster a vibrant trade in ideas. However, when the press is so biased, they are deliberately distorting the marketplace and the rights of the people. The media is advocating positions from unelected entities and denying any right to allow the people to vote. Hence the motto of the Washington Post “Democr4acy Dies in Darkness” is precisely their new objective. Since mainstream media has proven its eagerness to distort the news, it is profoundly unjustified in any legal foundation to provide any immunity whatsoever and they are deliberately engaging in treasonous conduct and should be hauled into court where ONLY a jury is allowed to decide the facts.

Keep in mind the institutions of our intensely political bureaucracy have preferred media outlets to construct their narratives.  The State Department use CNN.  The FBI use The New York Times; and the CIA use The Washington Post.

The media misattributed quotes?   Think about that.  They tried to impeach President Trump based on misattributed quotes.

The only reason the correction was made is because the recording was released.

Glenn Greenwald Testifies to House Subcommittee About Big Tech and Media Aligned Censorship

Journalist Glenn Greenwald appeared today before the House Subcommittee on Antitrust, Commercial, and Administrative Law holds a hearing entitled, “Reviving Competition, Part 2: Saving the Free and Diverse Press.”  Mr. Greenwald testified about the inherent dangers of Big Tech arbitrarily controlling speech, and the ideologically aligned media looking the other way.

One of the examples Greenwald uses to highlight the alignment is how Big Tech suppressed the New York Post and their factually evidenced and well documented Hunter Biden story; and how the aligned media apparatus then supported that silencing.   In essence, the institutions of the U.S. government are collapsing; the institutions of communication technology are advancing censorship without oversight; and the institutions of the Fourth Estate are completely compromised.

Houston Police Chief going Rogue

In Houston, Texas, despite the governor removing the mask ban, the rogue Police Chief Art Acevedo says he will still arrest people for not wearing a mask. This guy is taking the law into his own hands, and clearly should be stripped of all power. He claims that “Our officers are well-versed on the laws, there’s something called ‘criminal trespass’ here in the state of Texas, and if a business asks an individual to wear the mask and they refuse to leave, they can be arrested for criminal trespass.” He is obviously a Democrat, for he then elevated Fauci above the Governor saying that Fauci said that he believed people would need to continue wearing face masks into 2022. Hello, even the Washington Post said masks were “useless” and that was all the studies. Perhaps he should go to Washington and sign up as a National Guard to protect Fauci.

Disney Gone Crazy with Cancel Culture

Disney is simply out of control. Things that have been around for generations are suddenly harmful. No, under the Cancel Culture that has taken Disney by storm, children under 7 will be forbidden from watching “Dumbo,” “Peter Pan” “Swiss Family Robinson” and the “The Aristocats.” As a kid, I grew up on Peter Pan and Mary Martin. What was so evil? A woman playing a boy? What about the rides at Disney with Dumbo or the Tree House of Swiss Family Robinson. Should they all now be demolished? I suppose the name Dumbo implies being dumb.

Gina Carano was fired by Disney because she tweeted that being a Republican/Conservative was like being a Jew in Nazi Germany – hunted down and seen as evil. She was fired for making such a comparison. Yet it is true. We have anyone who is “conservative” is now being demonized and canceled from social media. People like Pelosi and AOC are even calling Republicans the “enemy” within. The firing of Carno in itself prompted protests. But those who disagree with the cancel culture are themselves considered rejects from society unworthy of any opinion whatsoever.

Now everyone is offended by something that requires it to be canceled. I am offended by Marxism. Can we cancel the left now? I am also offended by a corrupt government. Can we ban Congress?

Others are calling for a total boycott of Disney. I suppose canceling all these things in and of itself offends others. So where does this end? This is following the very same strategies of how the Communists took over Russia – intimidation of free thought.

against those who they disagree with.  However, if you dare to defend yourself or confront their ideological nonsense, you are “attacking” them and inciting “harassment” against them.  Essentially modern journalists are tender snowflakes who demand to be respected as they use their position as a weapon against those they disagree with.

After Tucker Carlson called out one of the New York Times reporters, the Times -yet again- claimed their journalist was being harassed.  It is a ridiculous circle of meaningless self-indulgent nonsense, as Tucker Carlson rightly noted earlier tonight.  WATCH:

Piers Morgan Responds to Critics and Defenders of Meghan Markle

This ongoing saga is ridiculous, but it is one of the rare times when Piers Morgan is in alignment with common sense and the majority sentiment within his country.  Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are insufferable elites attempting to make their entitled selves into victims.  It is ridiculous.

People who have watched the way the Obama team use pop culture to advance Marxist political objectives have already seen through the ruse of the Meghan Markle comments with Oprah Winfrey.  It was not accidental the interview comments about racism were organized, timed and released to coincide with the George Floyd trial in Minnesota.  It’s how the cultural Marxists work.

If any group of people can see through to the orchestration of this, it is you, the CTH community.  We have researched the Obama use of racism as a political tool for years; that technique includes using media figures like Oprah.  The Chicago fingerprints of the familiar architects are clear as day on this ridiculous story.

Piers Morgan Departs ITV Good Morning Britain, Following Criticism of Meghan Markle

British pundit Piers Morgan has always been skeptical of Meghan Markle based on his identified history of divisive relationships that seemed to circle her orbit.  The latest hit against the British crown by Ms. Markle and her simp Prince Harry has created division amid the British that is exactly the history Piers Morgan has previously described.

This morning the issues surrounding Ms. Markle’s purposeful attack against the crown were hotly debated amid the show Good Morning Britain; and now it appears ITV News and Piers Morgan have parted ways.  “Following the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s landmark interview with Oprah Winfrey, today’s Good Morning Britain shared the reaction to the revelations, including those about Meghan’s suicidal thoughts and allegations of racism within the Royal family.”

Considering the Oprah angle; and considering Oprah is one of the primary conduits, advance agents and protectors of all things related to President Obama; it would not be surprising to discover that Obama’s team of Chicago provocateurs are in the close-background of the Markle network.  Useful division based on advancement of racist accusations is a classic Maoist approach to achieve modern Marxist outcomes.

The 2009 Christmas Tree ornament of Mao in the Obama White House is a small reference point with larger implications.

The international media are leftists by indoctrinated disposition, it is in their DNA to advance the ideology of far-left causes.  Division is a downstream consequence from the allied media supporting any cause cèlébre in alignment with the progressive left.  Piers Morgan has been on the cusp of the cancel culture for several years as he eventually supported the Brexit outcome and pushed-back against the extreme elements of his own tribe of leftists.

Twitter Sues Texas AG Ken Paxton for Investigating Their Censorship Practices – Watch This One Closely It Appears Twitter is Leveraging Their Alliance With FBI

CTH spidey senses are on maximum alert on the background to this story.

On its face Twitter is suing Texas AG Ken Paxton for targeting them with inquiries into their practice of censorship and deplatforming.  The lawsuit baseline is essentially (and ironically) because Paxton is a government official, Twitter is claiming their ‘first amendment’ right to control speech on their private platform is under attack.

However, you might ask yourself why Twitter chose Paxton and not Florida Governor DeSantis or any other government official who is doing essentially the same thing as AG Paxton with their efforts against Big Tech.  This is where suspicious cat comes into play because there’s always another angle with these tech leftists…. you just need to know how to spot it.

Ken Paxton is under investigation by the FBI for an unrelated securities fraud case, and there has been a long-standing court battle underway.  If you have watched the ideological merge, the alliance of common interests between Big Tech leftists and DOJ/FBI leftists, you might consider the appearance of a convenient leverage situation here that would explain why Twitter selected Paxton.  [Insert Suspicious Cat Here]

ASSOCIATED PRESS – Twitter has filed a lawsuit against Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, claiming the Republican used his office to retaliate against it for banning the account of former President Donald Trump following the riot at the U.S. Capitol.

Days after the deadly January insurrection, Paxton announced an investigation into Twitter and four other major technology companies for what he called “the seemingly coordinated de-platforming of the President.” The attorney general’s office demanded that the companies produce a variety of records related to their content moderation policies and troves of internal communications.

Twitter responded Monday with a federal lawsuit alleging Paxton is seeking to punish it for taking Trump’s account offline — a decision the social media company says is protected free speech. It asks a judge to declare the decision to be under the ambit of the First Amendment and to, in essence, halt Paxton’s investigation.

“Paxton made clear that he will use the full weight of his office, including his expansive investigatory powers, to retaliate against Twitter for having made editorial decisions with which he disagrees,” lawyers for the company wrote in the suit filed in a Northern California court.

Spokespersons for Paxton’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment Monday evening.

Twitter’s counterpunch comes as states, in addition to federal lawmakers and governments outside the U.S., are cracking down on tech companies they see as having amassed too much power in the past decade. This includes antitrust and anti-monopoly regulation, internet privacy laws as well as attempts to regulate how platforms like Twitter, Facebook and others moderate their sites. (read more)
