DNI Gabbard, FBI Director Patel and CIA Director Ratcliffe Testify on Global Threats – 10:00am Livestream

The SSCI sits at the center of the U.S. Intelligence Community operations, providing support and alignment with all ongoing IC activity, with control mechanisms that work around the leadership of all IC institutions.  The SSCI, acting as an oversight body, facilitates all activity.

Keep in mind, as DNI Tulsi Gabbard appears for testimony today the worst elements of the Intelligence Community, and the orcs within the SSCI that underpins the IC, despise Tulsi Gabbard.

Remember, Gabbard intercepted an impeachment construct (TdA, Venezuela deportation – Boasberg et al) and Gabbard refused to promote the fabricated IC construct that Jared Kushner was in control of Trump and manipulating the White House on behalf of Israel. Japan Signs Major $56 Billion Energy Deal with U.S, Strategically Boosting Energy Relationship

CTH has said to watch the U.S.-Japan trade relationship closely because the outlines of multiple geopolitical shifts can be referenced from a new strategic relationship surrounding multiple sectors, including energy.

The U.S, relationship with Japan is both leverage and a hedge against old alliances that may seek to disrupt the global reset currently underway through President Trump policy.  The issues with the European Union, U.K, USMCA and other tenuous allies, look entirely different when President Trump has alternative partnerships for massive energy exports.

ENERGY NEWS – In a major move to secure stable energy supplies amid escalating geopolitical tensions, Japan has inked deals worth up to $56 billion with the United States for oil, natural gas, and liquefied natural gas (LNG) purchases and investments.

This agreement, finalized at the Asia-Pacific Energy Security Forum in Tokyo on March 14, 2026, underscores Japan’s push to diversify its energy imports and deepen economic ties with the US under Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi’s administration.

The deals come as part of a broader framework stemming from the 2025 US-Japan trade agreement, where Japan pledged $550 billion in US investments over several years, with energy as a key pillar.

The $56 billion package represents a significant escalation in Japan’s commitment to American energy, building on an initial $36 billion tranche announced earlier in 2026.

This latest round emphasizes immediate purchases and long-term infrastructure projects, responding to global market volatility driven by conflicts in the Middle East and disruptions in key shipping routes like the Strait of Hormuz.

As a nation that needs energy partnerships, Japan seeks stability and predictability.  Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi has gone all-in on a strategic energy partnership with the United States.

As the tectonic plates are shaken:

♦ If Canada wants to try and leverage the energy trade infrastructure against a USMCA reset, President Trump has Venezuela production as an offset.

Japanese automakers have already told Canadian trade ministers that if Canada loses the USMCA, there’s no value in maintaining auto manufacturing north of the border – because the target customers are all in the USA.  Japan would move all production out of Canada.  I doubt China could replace at scale.

♦ If Europe, who is now dependent on LNG from Norway and the USA, wants to create geopolitical friction, President Trump now has Japan as a replacement customer.  More behavioral leverage.

U.S. firms are making a lot of money selling LNG to Europe, but Trump has just created a customer base that is more reliable and politically consistent.

♦ Then, as the short-term lifting of LNG and oil sanctions on Russia is proving (petrodollars used), think about the potential for India and Southeast Asia to be supported by Russian exports.  Who holds that distribution key, again Trump.

It is not accidental that India is sending support vessels to the Strait of Hormuz as requested by President Trump.  Here’s the kicker… With oil and gas from Russia, India doesn’t need the Iranian oil and gas; yet, they are sending support. Why? Because Prime Minister Modi wants Trump to keep their Russian purchase exemptions in place.

We can see how a strong collaborative relationship with Japan can negate any negative economic impact the mask wearing Europeans and Canadians might want to try and leverage.  In actuality, Canada, the U.K and Europe don’t have any leverage at all in the new world of trade.

One way to look at this is to say the primary “Build Back Better” nations, those most entrenched in the selling of climate change as a tool for manipulation and control, are being positioned to have the least amount of input into a new, tiered set of established nations for global energy development.

Take a look at that Russian Sanctions map again.  The nations in yellow created the sanctions:

Now, overlay the new energy trade relationships that are forming.

The USA fuels the Western Hemisphere.

Russia fuels the Eastern Hemisphere.

Europe is reliant on the Middle East.

China loses geopolitical power, Russia gains power.

Europe loses geopolitical power, India gains power.

Deal with Iran and most conflict is resolved in the Middle East.

The USA controls the Western Hemisphere.  And with India and Japan as allies, the Indo-Pacific outline is realized.

President Trump Asked Directly if He Will Reconsider Staying in NATO

President Donald Trump is not happy with NATO allies over the issue of the Iran war and their refusal to escort oil out of the gulf region.   President Trump criticized the EU member nations for refusing to support U.S. military efforts in the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump is then asked questions about if he would reconsider the U.S. relationship with NATO, warning it’s “not good for a partnership,” and signaling possible reconsideration of U.S. ties with NATO. WATCH:

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz Rejects Request to Send Escorts to Middle East to Support EU Oil Shipments

The EU has balked at the request of President Trump to support military escorts for EU oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz destined for European Ports.  However, it is the position of German Chancellor Fredrich Merz which really highlights the arrogance of the issue.

Germany has deactivated its nuclear reactors and decided not to purchase Russian oil/gas. As a consequence, the German industrial economy is contracting; the German auto industry is collapsing; German manufacturing plants are closing – and mass layoffs have been announced.

Into this self-created dynamic, Germany has become dependent on (1) Oil and Gas from the middle east, and (2) LNG from the USA. Germany is a completely dependent nation on the issue of energy production. Yet, this is Germanys position:

Setting aside for a moment that “the middle east is not a matter for NATO,” while reminding ourselves Ukraine is also not a NATO member state – yet Germany is supporting the pro-war ‘coalition of the willing,’  President Trump previously pointed out that NATO would never come to the aid of the USA when the Greenland Arctic Security debate was going on.

The EU in general, and Germany specifically, is essentially proving President Trump’s point.  However, as a result of intentional migration, Germany has over five million Muslim residents now residing inside the country.  We should consider that this overlay is also part of their internal political consideration.

What Chancellor Merz said next is almost too European to be real, but it is:

The German government destroyed affordable energy for Germans.  The German government refuses to escort their own equity stakes to mitigate energy costs for Germans.  Now the German government will limit the price increases to once per day to provide relief to Germans.

Seriously folks, you cannot make this stuff up.

The tectonic plates are shifting, and we are bearing witness to old geopolitical structures collapsing as the ground beneath them moves.

When history is written it will reflect that President Trump didn’t destroy NATO – he simply removed the mask.

I am not surprised by their action, however, because I always considered NATO, where we spend Hundreds of Billions of Dollars per year protecting these same Countries, to be a one-way street — We will protect them, but they will do nothing for us, in particular, in a time of need.

Fortunately, we have decimated Iran’s Military — Their Navy is gone, their Air Force is gone, their Anti-Aircraft and Radar is gone and perhaps, most importantly, their Leaders, at virtually every level, are gone, never to threaten us, our Middle Eastern Allies, or the World, again! Because of the fact that we have had such Military Success, we no longer “need,” or desire, the NATO Countries’ assistance — WE NEVER DID! Likewise, Japan, Australia, or South Korea.

In fact, speaking as President of the United States of America, by far the Most Powerful Country Anywhere in the World, WE DO NOT NEED THE HELP OF ANYONE! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

NCTC Director Joe Kent Resigns from Trump Administration in Protest to Iran War

Joe Kent, the director of the National Counterterrorism Center, has announced his resignation.  Director Kent outlines his decision as driven by opposition to the war against Iran.

Kent, a senior deputy to Director of National intelligence Tulsi Gabbard posted his resignation letter on the X platform, writing: “I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran.” … “Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.”

This is quite a remarkable development.  Director Joe Kent’s full resignation letter is below, and out of an abundance of caution I prefer to await to see how President Trump and/or Tulsi Gabbard responds.

Unfortunately, one of the consequences of this very public resignation is going to be fuel upon the fire of division surrounding the issue of Israeli influence inside the Trump administration.

President Trump Establishes the Task Force to Eliminate Fraud

Earlier today, President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order creating the Task Force to Eliminate Fraud, which will advise the President and coordinate government-wide efforts to combat widespread fraud, waste, and abuse in Federal benefit programs. [Executive Order Here]

According to the White House – The Vice President will serve as Chair of the Task Force, the Chairman of the Federal Trade Commission will serve as Vice Chairman, the Assistant to the President for Homeland Security will serve as Senior Advisor, and an Executive Director will manage daily operations. Relevant cabinet secretaries and heads of government agencies will serve as Task Force members.

The Order directs the Task Force, on behalf of the President, to coordinate a comprehensive national strategy to stop fraud, waste, and abuse across Federal benefit programs, including housing, food, medical care, and cash assistance administered with State and local partners, in order to protect these benefits for eligible Americans.

The Task Force will coordinate measures to improve eligibility verification, implement pre-payment controls, detect high-risk fraud trends, and disrupt and dismantle fraud networks and the mechanisms through which fraud is committed.

The Task Force will also coordinate development of minimum anti-fraud requirements to prevent exploitation of taxpayer-funded benefits, including proof of identity and documentation requirements, risk controls, and audit and remedial actions, while each member agency’ works to develop a measurable implementation plan.

Megyn Kelly Said Mark Levin Has a “Micropenis”, President Trump Stands in Support of Levin

I dislike Mark Levin immensely.  Long-time CTH readers know I have a very valid reason to dislike Mark Levin immensely. My approach was to essentially ignore “old yeller” as he shouts and rants about all the things he always shouts and rants about.  I dislike Mark Levin very much; beyond what most here would define as immense.

That said, I also accept that -for whatever reason he has- President Donald J Trump does not hold the same opinion of Mark Levin.  In fact, Donald Trump seems to like Mark Levin.  As a consequence, I retain my peace and ignore everything that circles around their time together.  However, this is also an ¹opportunity.

Mr Levin’s audience has been shrinking quite fast.  The downward spiral has been happening with greater speed and increasing slope for around 15 years.  The diminutive Mr Levin is now a visual representation of the Black Knight Monty Pyton skit. If the name was raised, I quietly just stared in southern.

♦ Within the great podcaster war of 2026, apparently Mrs. Megyn Kelly and Mr Mark Levin have been having a very public feud.  I don’t know the details but given the reality of the past 12 months it probably surrounds Mr Levin’s Israel-First approach toward everything political.  In the latest drama du jour, Mrs Kelly is said to have mentioned that Mr Levin has a small penis, a “micropenis.”

Mr Levin apparently picked up the phone and called his loyal friend, President Donald Trump. Likely looking for an ally of considerable consequence to boost his member-ship status.  After all, Levin’s circle of influence is rather, well, small and shrinking.

PRESIDENT TRUMP – “Mark Levin, a truly Great American Patriot, is somewhat under siege by other people with far less Intellect, Capability, and Love for our Country. Mark is Tough, Strong, and Brilliant, hence the nickname, “THE GREAT ONE,” conceived by our MAGA friend, the wonderful Sean Hannity, after years of dealing with Mark in Legal, Media, and other capacities. Mark would often do Sean’s show, speaking as a lawyer, and Sean realized then, as did others, that he was special.

Mark Levin was not looking to do Television, Radio, or anything else, but he was drafted by very smart people who understood that there are few like him. He is a true Conservative, and Intellect, far smarter than those who criticize him but, above all, he is a man of Great Wisdom and Common Sense who truly loves our Country.

When you hear others unfairly attack Mark, remember that they are jealous and angry Human Beings, whose “sway” is much less than the Public understands, and will, now that they know where I stand, rapidly diminish. Other than for his wonderful wife and family, Mark Levin only cares and wants one thing, GREATNESS AND SUCCESS FOR AMERICA!

Those that speak ill of Mark will quickly fall by the wayside, as do the people whose ideas, policies, and footings are not sound. THEY ARE NOT MAGA, I AM, and MAGA includes not allowing Iran, a Sick, Demented, and Violent Terrorist Regime, to have a Nuclear Weapon to blow up the United States of America, the Middle East and, ultimately, the rest of the World.

President Trump is well known to be loyal.  I will just leave it at that, because I choose to leave it at that.

¹Pulling back to the Bigger Picture:

From decades well outside the wire, researching – boots on the ground, alone, deep in the weeds, carrying a rusty machete, looking at the unpopular truth while being snarked at from all sides… I can share a fundamental thing experience has taught me:

When “it” seems chaotic and mad, really confusing, conflicting and topsy-turvy chaotic, you can reasonably be sure there’s a focused intelligence operation swirling around “it”.

“It’s” not random, or organic…. EVER!

There is an absolutely true algorithmic boosting, an intentional shaping, underway in the background of all social media platforms.

The algorithms are manipulated to give increased influence, views and impressions to particular viewpoints.

The financial rewards within social media are specifically tailored to viewpoints that increase impressions and content creators end up following the narrative that rewards them.  Simultaneously content creators stay away from viewpoints that are algorithmically disliked.  This manipulation is obvious at this point.

Rewarding specific content is how the control levers are being manipulated.

It’s not organic or natural at all. The reality of what you see online, particularly in social media, is being controlled and influenced.

The “why” is a debatable aspect. Who and for what purpose is for each person to decide. I have my own opinions on who and why this is being done. However, whether it is happening is inarguable and the data affirms it.

From my perspective the division is all connected. Remember, Nick Fuentes is banned from the same platforms that now algorithmically boost accounts that mention him. Ideological hypocrisy within the algorithm outcome is one of the ways you can spot the manipulation.

Nick Fuentes is banned from TikTok, Instagram, Face Book, Google, YouTube, Meta etc., and as a consequence any prior account mentioning his content would not organically get a lift…. yet now it does.

This all started in June 2025, shortly after the Qatar vs Israel friction became visible as a wedge. Social media accounts who promoted Nick Fuentes on the same platforms that banned him, started getting increased impressions; something was turned off. This highlights the inorganic nature of the boost.

For others, like Candace Owens, Megyn Kelly or Tucker Carlson, it is entirely possible they only see the lift in impressions (and financial reward therein) and could ultimately believe their content is creating natural increases in support without realizing they are being boosted algorithmically as part of an intentional operation.

That is what I see as the most likely scenario.

Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, et al, are simply doing more of what creates revenue, possibly without realizing those who are delivering the revenue might have ulterior motives for boosting them.  Ego, pride and/or willful blindness can also play a role.

A strategic political manipulation campaign could spend $5 billion trying to push up a candidate (traditional route), or they could spend $5 billion fracturing the opposition (modern splitter approach using social media).

Last point. The people around President Trump know absolutely nothing about how this operation is being conducted.  Instead, as represented in the Truth Social post above, they are inadvertently providing fuel for it.

President Trump Answers Media Questions During Roundtable Luncheon

Moments ago, President Donald Trump took questions from the assembled press pool during a lunch with the Trump-Kennedy Center board members.

The full video is below the fold. However, the shorter segment of media questions and answers is highlighted in this video. President Trump was asked about countries willing to support the military escort request through the Strait of Hormuz. President Trump noted an announcement of supporting countries will be forthcoming.

President Trump also noted the biggest beneficiary of the oil from Iran is China, and he would expect those nations who are dependent on the stability of that oil flow to rise in support of the escorts. WATCH:

All Things Considered – A Good Geopolitical Recap

Some additional contexts not included in the British-centric financial review below.

(1) Japanese Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae will be at the White House next week.  This meeting was scheduled several weeks before Operation Epic Fury began.  The timeline continues to indicate that President Trump’s primary geopolitical focus is on China, not necessarily the U.K-EU angle, although that is a materially significant overlay.

(2) “A major U.S. weapons package for Taiwan worth about 14 billion dollars is awaiting approval from Donald Trump and could be announced after his planned visit to China later this month, according to sources familiar with the discussions. The proposed deal would be the largest U.S. arms sale ever to Taiwan and comes as military tensions between China and the self-ruled island continue to rise.” {SOURCE}
