Post By Tabitha Korol
The summer season of Chautauqua is long over, and the “scholarly” vacationers have returned to their winter existence. For staff and speakers, it is a respite, a tactical Hudna – the time to assess their position and decide on their new plan of action, the speakers, and the indoctrination for next summer, because Islam’s stealth war against the infidel must continue. Its raison d’etre is to mindbend the captive audience, and ultimately to gain acceptance for Sharia – the Qur’anic legal system that dictates every facet of the adherent’s life – as the law of the land.
Surely, we might expect more Islamic representatives and topics next year. Their language will obscure the true nature of the themes and Islam’s history, and present a glossed version of the “Religion of Peace,” as veiled as their women and as masked as the armed jihadists. It may subtly, if not overtly, disparage the State of Israel.
Such was the case of Israeli-born Anat Hoffman, who was invited to speak at the Hall of Philosophy (perhaps more aptly named Hall of Propaganda), as reported in The Chautauquan Daily of August 29, 2015. Her calls for a more peaceful, inclusive Holy City used three key words: “Holy City” is the non-Jewish name for Yerushalayim (Jerusalem), and “inclusive” is the code word for de-Judaizing the city. It was clear that Hoffman had an agenda to defame not only Jerusalem, the capital, but also Judaism and Israel, the only country in all the world that was dedicated to the Jewish people.
She repeatedly claimed that Israel had no Constitution, when in fact it is embodied in written texts that reflect Israel’s political system, social content, and expanding constitutional tradition – the operative constitution to determine basic operations and governance. Israel relies on Torah and Jewish law (halakha), which is also the basis for America’s Judeo-Christian laws and Constitution. Perhaps Hoffman seeks (but does not clarify) a codified Constitution, but like the Parliament of the United Kingdom and the Parliament of New Zealand, Israel’s Knesset is a Sovereign Parliament that fulfills that function.
With every tribute that Hoffman could muster, including the beauty and nuances of Israel’s language, Hebrew, and the state’s technical innovations, she provided a grievance, her primary one being a gripe against the religious prohibition against women’s praying with men at the Western Wall, a separation that is also maintained in an orthodox synagogue. The rule is grounded in the orthodox view of the divinely-authored Hebrew Scripture, but Hoffman sells her disdain of the orthodox community and, by extension, Israel and Judaism, thereby earning herself the strongest applause.
Hoffman spoke of the violence of zealots, without identifying them or their motivation, thereby again ridiculing Israel to an audience that has been fed pro-Islamic and -Palestinian views throughout the many summers. She never explained that the zealots are Jews who fought against eviction from their homes in Gush Katif in order to appease the Palestinians for a peace pact that the Arabs would never honor. They are the 8,600 Jews who were completely uprooted – lost their homes, schools, neighborhood, community, and livelihoods – among them, the successful, flourishing greenhouses that shipped superior-quality produce worldwide – the same greenhouses that were maliciously destroyed by Palestinians immediately upon transfer of ownership. Zealots are also those who must defend their families and homes against armed Palestinians who use deadly stones, firebombs, and knives to kill innocents indiscriminately – from the very young to the aged. Hoffman never addressed the infamous Itamar attack, the butchering of five members of the Fogel family, and others killed mercilessly by their deadly neighbors.
Clearly, Anat Hoffman tried to summarily dismiss the Iran deal, deceptively telling her listeners that Israelis “are not very concerned,” except that they are quite concerned because the deal will enable Iran to fulfill its threat of annihilating Israel. Following that blatant invention, she suggested that her audience never allude to the deal should Prime Minister Netanyahu ever visit Chautauqua. Might that be because he would truthfully clarify the peril to both Israel and America?
Rather, she urged Chautauquans to invite Ayman Odeh, a communist who “swept her off her feet,” who vociferously complains of inequality while holding a position as leader of the Knesset’s United Arab Party. She did not expose this man as the violent agitator who threatened the elected government with armed insurrection and who threatened the Aramean population (Arab Moslems) with death for wanting to join the Israel Defense Force (IDF) because of their love for Israel. Odeh’s vitriol and aggression have resulted in violence, which is destroying tourism, commerce and jobs in Nazareth. In a recent interview, Nazareth’s Mayor Ali Salam accused Odeh of “ruining” the city and the peaceful coexistence had between Jews and Muslims. Hoffman withheld Odeh’s true activities, the incitement, the violence, the bloodshed. Taqiyyah (Holy Deception for the advancement of Islam) is the essential component of Chautauqua’s programs.
Other guest speakers were Seyed Hossein Mousavian and Imad Kiyaei who came to advise Chautauquans of the benefits of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, aka the Iran Deal, between the US, China, Russia, the European Union and Iran, assuring the gullible that it will stabilize the region and create a pathway to peace.
Chautauquan guest speaker The Reverend James Walters is the chaplain of The London School of Economy and overseer of its faith center. A “hotbed of Muslims and Lefty Jew haters,” the school hosted a joint Palestine Society and Feminist Society event that portrayed Israelis as rapists, the Islamic tactic of projecting its own evils on its enemy; and the women applauded those who killed Israelis. Walters concealed the radicalization activities in the UK and in Europe by his friend, Qari Asim, the Makkah Mosque imam in Leeds, home to the mastermind and bombers of the London Underground train in 7/7/05. He denied any knowledge or connection to the violence that killed 52 and injured more than 700. And, while British authorities refuse to study, understand, or connect ISIS with Islam, British jihadis have declared that their black flag will fly over Buckingham Palace. I might also wonder how long before “incomparable” Institution’s speakers proclaim the same over the Hall at ”Chaut-akbar.”

In the Muslim community, jihad is a religious duty because of the universalism of the Muslim mission and the obligation to convert everybody to Islam either by persuasion or by force. The other religious groups did not have a universal mission, and the jihad was not a religious duty for them, save only for purposes of defense. But Islam is under obligation to gain power over other nations.
Muslim invasion of Europe: Unlimited
Looks like our southern boarder with Mexico or what Obama has planned for us next year.
Incredible night vision photos taken from the air have shown the thousands of migrants streaming across the Solvenian border from Croatia.
The new pictures, taken by a Slovenian police helicopter, show the constant stream of people through the country under a cover of darkness , a day ahead of a European summit on the migrant crisis.
The Muslims invading Europe is guided by the police and army on the Balkans.
The thermal imaging pictures show how some of the migrants even decide to continue their journey west under the cover of darkness.
Some 58,000 migrants and refugees heading to Germany and Austria have arrived in Slovenia over the last week, shifting their route to the west after Hungary sealed its borders.
Pressure has been building as asylum-seekers travelling through the Balkans have pressed on instead through Croatia and Slovenia toward Austria, Germany and other Western European nations.

A Female Physician in Munich, Germany sends a message to the world . . . . . .
Yesterday, at the hospital we had a meeting about how the situation here and at the other Munich hospitals is unsustainable. Clinics cannot handle emergencies, so they are starting to send everything to the hospitals.
Many Muslims are refusing treatment by female staff and, we, women, are refusing to go among those animals, especially from Africa. Relations between the staff and migrants are going from bad to worse. Since last weekend, migrants going to the hospitals must be accompanied by police with K-9 units.
Many migrants have AIDS, syphilis, open TB and many exotic diseases that we, in Europe, do not know how to treat them. If they receive a prescription in the pharmacy, they learn they have to pay cash. This leads to unbelievable outbursts, especially when it is about drugs for the children. They abandon the children with pharmacy staff with the words: “So, cure them here yourselves!” So the police are not just guarding the clinics and hospitals, but also large pharmacies.
Truly we said openly: Where are all those who had welcomed in front of TV cameras, with signs at train stations?! Yes, for now, the border has been closed, but a million of them are already here and we will definitely not be able to get rid of them.
Until now, the number of unemployed in Germany was 2.2 million. Now it will be at least 3.5 million. Most of these people are completely unemployable. A bare minimum of them have any education. What is more, their women usually do not work at all. I estimate that one in ten is pregnant. Hundreds of thousands of them have brought along infants and little kids under six, many emaciated and neglected. If this continues and German re-opens its borders, I’m going home to the Czech Republic. Nobody can keep me here in this situation, not even double the salary than at home. I went to Germany, not to Africa or the Middle East.
Even the professor who heads our department told us how sad it makes him to see the cleaning woman, who for 800 Euros cleans every day for years, and then meets young men in the hallways who just wait with their hand outstretched, want everything for free, and when they don’t get it they throw a fit.
I really don’t need this! But I’m afraid that if I return, that at some point it will be the same in the Czech Republic. If the Germans, with their nature cannot handle this, there in Czechia it would be total chaos. Nobody who has not come in contact with them has no idea what kind of animals they are, especially the ones from Africa, and how Muslims act superior to our staff, regarding their religious accommodation.
For now, the local hospital staff has not come down with the diseases they brought here, but, with so many hundreds of patients every day – this is just a question of time.
In a hospital near the Rhine, migrants attacked the staff with knives after they had handed over an 8-month-old on the brink of death, which they had dragged across half of Europe for three months. The child died in two days, despite having received top care at one of the best pediatric clinics in Germany. The physician had to undergo surgery and two nurses are laid up in the ICU. Nobody has been punished.
The local press is forbidden to write about it, so we know about it through email. What would have happened to a German if he had stabbed a doctor and nurses with a knife? Or if he had flung his own syphilis-infected urine into a nurse’s face and so threatened her with infection? At a minimum he’d go straight to jail and later to court. With these people – so far, nothing has happened.
And so I ask, where are all those greeters and receivers from the train stations? Sitting pretty at home, enjoying their non-profits and looking forward to more trains and their next batch of cash from acting like greeters at the stations. If it were up to me I would round up all these greeters and bring them here first to our hospital’s emergency ward, as attendants. Then, into one building with the migrants so they can look after them there themselves, without armed police, without police dogs who today are in every hospital here in Bavaria, and without medical help.

Moral Equivalence is Cultural Insanity!
Moral Equivalence in the Middle East
The West has developed a dangerous concern for ‘proportionality.’

In the current epidemic of Palestinian violence, scores of Arab youths are attacking, supposedly spontaneously, Israeli citizens with knives. Apparently, edged weapons have moreKoranic authority, and, in the sense of media spectacle, they provide greater splashes of blood. Thus the attacker is regularly described as “unarmed” and a victim when he is “disproportionately” stopped by bullets.
The Obama State Department has condemned the use of “excessive” Israeli force in response to Palestinian terrorism. John Kirby, the hapless State Department spokesman, blamed “both” sides for terrorism, and the president himself called on attackers and their victims to “tamp down the violence.”
In short, the present U.S. government — which is subsidizing the Palestinians to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars a year — is incapable of distinguishing those who employ terrorist violence from the victims against whom the terrorism is directed. But why is the Obama administration — which can apparently distinguish those who send out drones from those who are blown up by them on the suspicion of employing terrorist violence — morally incapable of calling out Palestinian violence? After all, in the American case, we blow away suspects whom we think are likely terrorists; in the Israeli instance, they shoot or arrest those who have clearly just committed a terrorist act.
Two reasons stand out.
One, Obama’s Middle East policies are in shambles. Phony red lines, faux deadlines, reset with Putin, surrendering all the original bargaining chips in the Iranian deal, snubbing Israel, cozying up to the Muslim Brotherhood, dismissing the threat of ISIS, allowing Iraq to collapse by abruptly pulling out all American troops, giving way to serial indecision in Afghanistan, ostracizing the moderate Sunni regimes, wrecking Libya, and setting the stage for Benghazi — all of these were the result of administration choices, not fated events. One of the results of this collapse of American power and presence in the Middle East is an emboldened Palestinian movement that has recently renounced the Oslo Accords and encouraged the offensive of edged weapons.
Mahmoud Abbas, the subsidized president of the self-proclaimed Palestinian State, and his subordinates have sanctioned the violence. Any time Palestinians sense distance between the U.S. and Israel, they seek to widen the breach. When the Obama team deliberately and often gratuitously signals its displeasure with Israel, then the Palestinians seek to harden that abstract pique into concrete estrangement.
Amid such a collapse of American power, Abbas has scanned the Middle East, surveyed the Obama pronouncements — from his initial Al Arabiya interview and Cairo speech to his current contextualizations and not-so private slapdowns of Netanyahu — and has wagered that Obama likes Israel even less than his public statements might suggest. Accordingly, Abbas assumes that there might be few consequences from America if he incites another “cycle of violence.”
The more chaos there is, the more CNN videos of Palestinian terrorists being killed by Israeli civilians or security forces, the more NBC clips of knife-wielding terrorists who are described as unarmed, and the more MSNBC faux maps of Israeli absorption of Palestine, so all the more the Abbas regime and Hamas expect the “international community” to force further Israeli concessions. The Palestinians hope that they are entering yet another stage in their endless war against Israel. But this time, given the American recessional, they have new hopes that the emerging Iran–Russia–Syria–Iraq–Hezbollah axis could offer ample power in support of the violence and could help to turn the current asymmetrical war more advantageously conventional. The Palestinians believe, whether accurately or not, that their renewed violence might be a more brutal method of aiding the administration’s own efforts to pressure the Israelis to become more socially just, without which there supposedly cannot be peace in the Middle East.
But there is a second, more general explanation for the moral equivalence and anemic response from the White House. The Obama “we are the ones we’ve been waiting for” administration is the first postmodern government in American history, and it has adopted almost all the general culture’s flawed relativist assumptions about human nature.
Affluent and leisured Western culture in the 21st century assumes that it has reached a stage of psychological nirvana, in which the Westernized world is no longer threatened in any existential fashion as it often was in the past. That allows Westerners to believe that they no longer have limbic brains, and so are no longer bound by Neanderthal ideas like deterrence, balance of power, military alliances, and the use of force to settle disagreements. Their wealth and technology assure them that they are free, then, to enter a brave new world of zero culpability, zero competition, and zero hostility that will ensure perpetual tranquility and thus perpetual enjoyment of our present material bounty.
Our children today play tee-ball, where there are no winners and losers — and thus they are schooled that competition is not just detrimental but also can, by such training, be eliminated entirely. Our adolescents are treated according to the philosophy of “zero tolerance,” in which the hero who stops the punk from bullying a weaker victim is likewise suspended from school. Under the pretense of such smug moral superiority, our schools have abdicated the hard and ancient task of distinguishing bad behavior from good and then proceeding with the necessary rewards and punishments. Our universities have junked military history, which schooled generations on how wars start, proceed, and end. Instead, “conflict resolution and peace studies” programs proliferate, in which empathy and dialogue are supposed to contextualize the aggressor and thus persuade him to desist and seek help — as if aggression, greed, and the desire for intimidation were treatable syndromes rather than ancient evils that have remained dangerous throughout history.
Human nature is not so easily transcended, just because a new therapeutic generation has confused its iPhone apps and Priuses with commensurate moral and ethical advancement. Under the canons of the last 2,500 years of Western warfare, disproportionality was the method by which aggressors were either deterred or stopped. Deterrence — which alone prevented wars — was predicated on the shared assumption that starting a conflict would bring more violence down upon the aggressor than he could ever inflict on his victim. Once lost, deterrence was restored usually by disproportionate responses that led to victory over and humiliation of the aggressive party.
The wreckage of Berlin trumped anything inflicted by the Luftwaffe on London. The Japanese killed fewer than 3,000 Americans at Pearl Harbor; the Americans killed 30 times that number of Japanese in a single March 10, 1945, incendiary raid on Tokyo. “They have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind” was the standard philosophy by which aggressive powers were taught never again to start hostilities. Defeat and humiliation led to peace and reconciliation.
The tragic but necessary resort to disproportionate force by the attacked not only taught an aggressor that he could not win the fight he had started, but also reminded him that his targeted enemy might not be completely sane, and thus could be capable of any and all retaliation.
Unpredictability and the fear sown by the unknown also help to restore deterrence, and with it calm and peace. In contrast, predictable, proportionate responses can reassure the aggressor that he is in control of the tempo of the war that he in fact started. And worse still, the doctrine of proportionality suggests that the victim does not seek victory and resolution, but will do almost anything to return to the status quo antebellum — which, of course, was disadvantageous and shaped by the constant threat of unexpected attack by its enemies.
Applying this to the Middle East, the Palestinians believe that the new American indifference to the region and Washington’s slapdowns of Netanyahu have reshuffled relative power. They now hope that there is no deterrent to violence and that, if it should break out, there will be only a proportionate and modest response from predictable Westerners.
Under the related doctrine of moral equivalence, Westerners are either unwilling or unable to distinguish the more culpable from the more innocent. Instead, because the world more often divides by 55 to 45 percent rather than 99 to 1 percent certainty, Westerners lack the confidence to make moral judgments — afraid that too many critics might question their liberal sensitivities, a charge that in the absence of dearth, hunger, and disease is considered the worst catastrophe facing an affluent Western elite.
The question is not only whether the Obama administration, in private, favors the cause of the radical Palestinians over a Western ally like Israel, but also whether it is even intellectually and morally capable of distinguishing a democratic state that protects human rights from a non-democratic, authoritarian, and terrorist regime that historically has hated the West, and the United States in particular — and is currently engaged in clear-cut
The Broadest Interpretation of Islam
The liberal media is beginning to admit that Islam has a formal doctrine of jihad. They have been forced into this admission due to the constant propaganda of jihad doctrine by ISIS. Now the media says that Islamic State, ISIS, has a narrow interpretation of Islam. But, it is just opposite, ISIS has the broadest interpretation of Islam.
Islamic doctrine is slowly revealed, just like the Koran. It has an early form in Mecca and a fully developed later form in Medina. Now these may contradict each other, but both are true. The law of abrogation says that the later doctrine is better or stronger than the earlier doctrine.
ISIS uses all of the doctrine, including Medina. The so-called peaceful Muslims do not use all of the doctrine, just the early Meccan form. So the peaceful Muslims have the narrow, exclusive interpretation. ISIS and all of the jihadis have the broadest interpretation, which is inclusive.
Eidelberg writes eloquently on why the Muslim’s do what they do and by extension, if we do not adapt, we will also all be Muslims by the end of this century, maybe sooner..
The Poodles Among Us
By Prof. Paul Eidelberg
In his 2002 foreword to Raphael Patai’s 1973 classic, The Arab Mind, Norvelle B. de Atkine writes: “This book … forms the basis of my cultural instruction, complemented by my own experiences of some 25 years living in, studying or teaching about the Middle East.”
De Atkine notes that “officers returning from the Arab world describe the cultural barriers they encounter as by far the most difficult to navigate, far beyond those of political perceptions. Thinking back on it, I recall many occasions on which I was perplexed by actions or behavior on the part of my Arab hosts—actions and behavior that would have been perfectly understandable had I read The Arab Mind.”
To speak of Arabs is to speak of Muslims, for Arab culture is permeated by Islam. Islamic hatred of America and of Israel is more intense and more widespread today than it was in 1973. American pop culture and commercial imperialism constitute a threat to the Arab’s tradition-based society, and Muslims see Israel as America’s vanguard in the Middle East.
Patai, says de Atkine, does not deny the virtues of Arab culture. “The hospitality, generosity, and depth of personal friendships common within the Arab world are rarely encountered in our more frenetic society. The Arab sense of honor and of obligation to the family—especially to the family’s old and young members—can be contrasted to the frequently dysfunctional family life found in our own society…”
But such is the burning hatred Arabs bear toward Jews that many willingly used their own children as human bombs, while the Arab street cheers such barbarism. Hatred trumps love. Arab hatred was not born with the Balfour Declaration or the establishment of the State of Israel. It precedes Muhammad and remains deeply ingrained in Arab culture.
Patai quotes Ibn Khaldun (1332-1406), the greatest historian ever produced by the Arabs. Khaldun’s portrait of Arab national character is that of a historian who could look back on seven centuries of Arab history.
The Arabs, he says, “are people who plunder and cause damage.” The civilizations they conquer are “wiped out.” “Places that succumb to the Arabs are quickly ruined.”
“The reason for this is that [the Arabs] are a savage nation, fully accustomed to savagery …” “Savagery has become their character and nature. They enjoy it because it means freedom from authority and no subservience to leadership. Such a natural disposition is the negation and antithesis of civilization.”
“Because of their savagery,” saysatai, “the Arabs are the least willing of nations to subordinate themselves to each other, as they are proud, ambitious, and eager to be the leader.” (Recall Genesis 16:12 on the character of Ishmael: “He will be a rebel. His hand will be against everyone, and everyone’s hand will be against him.”)
The Arab’s sense of honor is notorious. Any insult or injury, let alone defeat in war, must be avenged. The Yom Kippur War was nothing less than an act of revenge for Israel’s victory in the Six-Day War—and that is why the war was launched on the holiest day of the Jewish calendar.
Any bellicose people are well-practiced in deception; as for the Arabs, however, one must add they are unequalled in the art of ingratiation. Khaldun’s disciple, Taqi al-Din Ahmad al-Maqrizi (1364-1442), an Egyptian, writes that Egyptians “are extremely inclined to cunning and deceit, from their birth they excel in it and are very skillful in using it, because there is in their character a basis of flattery and adulation which makes them masters in it more than all the peoples who have lived before them or will live after them.”
Egyptian President Anwar Sadat’s campaign of deception before the Yom Kippur War is documented in my book Sadat’s Strategy. But he was also a master of ingratiation. He constantly referred to Secretary of State William Rogers, whom he had met for the first time, as “Bill.” When Secretary Kissinger replaced Rogers, he became “dear Henry” just as quickly.
Countless pundits were deceived by Sadat. A few quotes may dispel their naiveté. In an interview with al-Anwar on June 22, 1975, Sadat said: “The effort of our generation is to return to the 1967 borders. Afterward the next generation will carry the responsibility.”
In a New York Times interview dated October 19, 1980, he boasted: “Poor Menachem [Begin], he has his problems … After all, I got back … the Sinai and the Alma oil fields, and what has Menachem got? A piece of paper.”
A year after signing the March 1979 peace treaty with Israel, Sadat ominously declared: “Despite the present differences with the Arab ‘rejectionist’ rulers over the Egyptian peace initiative, the fact remains that these differences are only tactical not strategic, temporary not permanent.”
By the way, in his Knesset speech of November 20, 1977, Sadat used the name of God 10 times in his first ten sentences. Surely a man of God would not lie about his desire for “peace”—a word he used 95 times in his 50-minute performance!
With astonishing insight, Ibn Khaldun points out that “The Arab can obtain authority only by making use of some religious coloring, such as prophecy or sainthood, or some great religious event in general.”
Patai’s 1973 classic, says de Atkine, “has not aged at all. The analysis is just as (prescient and on-the-mark now [in post-9/11, i.e., September 11, 2001]) as on the day it was written. One could even make the argument that, in fact, many of the [Muslim Arab] traits described have become more pronounced.”
Israeli politicians and diplomats are children compared to the likes of Muslim leaders like Palestinian chief Mahmoud Abbas. Benjamin Netanyahu’ ardent desire to negotiate with Abbas would be laughable if it did not have tragic consequences.
Despite Israel’s overwhelming military power, Israel has been retreating toward her indefensible 1949 borders. Like other Israeli leaders, even a savvy politician like Netanyahu has been one of the Arab’s Jewish poodles. Isn’t there an alternative?☼
