Apple Added to Terrorist Financier List?

Apple’s Company in Doha, Qatar, has been added to a list of 59 people/institutions that are considered to be funding terrorism (directly/indirectly) by Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Egypt and Bahrain, according to Al Arabiya . It has stunned many to see the Doha Apple Company listed among the financiers of terrorists. It is not clear why the Gulf states have included Apple among the financiers. Apple’s CEO Tim Cook had said in a recent interview with Bloomberg that Apple helped the UK government investigate the terrorist attacks in the UK.

Obviously, many want the details

Qatar & the Rising Tensions in the Middle East – On Schedule

Qatar is known for its ultra-modern architecture. In this respect, Doha is something to be viewed at least once in life. However, Qatar is a strict religious country that follows sharia law, in which homosexuals and adulterers face a possible death penalty, life imprisonment, or flogging. Qatar is a Salafi version of Sunni Islam, which is an ultra-conservative reform branch that developed in Arabia during the first half of the 18th century. It advocated a return to the traditions of the “devout ancestors” in reaction to the spread of European ideas. Qatar is one of the two Salafi states in the Muslim world, the other being Saudi Arabia.

Sheikh Saud bin Mohammed Al-Thani of Qatar,That said, Qatar is said to be the most duplicitous country in the world. On the one hand they embrace the West, yet on the other hand many have called it “Club Med” for terrorists. Qatar is the richest nation on Earth on a Per capita basis. Abu Nakhlah Airport (Arabic:مطار أبو نخلة) in Qatar houses both the Qatari Air Force and U.S. Air Force as well as other Coalition personnel. It is also the headquarters of United States Central Command.

I was a friend of Sheikh Saud bin Mohammed al-Thani who was a member of the Royal family of Qatar. We were probably the two biggest collectors of ancient coins in the world. He was always trying to buy me out, with a smile of course. Yes, he came to our office to see me with the royal bodyguards and the whole bit a few weeks before he died in 2014 and yes, I visited him at his home in London. Because of our friendship, he offered Qatar as the headquarters for our operation, but could not grant me a citizenship because I was Christian. We set up our office instead in Abu Dhabi where my relationship with the government dates back 30 years+.

Behind the Curtain, the Obama Administration tried releasing people quietly from the Guantanamo Bay, Cuba facility but they were being killed as people assumed they were conditioned into spies. Then Qatar was used as a front to release five people from Cuba in exchange for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl.

Qatar is also a huge investor in property. Most people do not know, but Qatar is part owner of the tallest building in London known as the Shard. They have a wealth fund of $335 billion and a portfolio that is amazing including stakes in Volkswagen to Tiffany & Co. Their stock portfolio is about $30 billion.

There has been a very longstanding war of words between Saudi Arabia and its neighbor Qatar. It was Obama who championed invading Syria and that was all for Qatar to get a pipeline through to compete with Russia in delivering gas to Europe. This has just exploded into open diplomatic warfare, threatening the US-led fight against ISIS and setting off a new wave of instability in the Gulf region.

Nevertheless, what has happened boils down to the fact that Saudi Arabia and three of its biggest allies — Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain — all announced that they were severing diplomatic ties with Qatar, as well as suspending air, land, and sea travel to and from the country. Qatari citizens were given 14 days to leave their countries. The move came after Riyadh accused Qatar of backing radical Islamist groups like the Muslim Brotherhood and ISIS. Since then, Libya, Yemen, and the Maldives have also joined the diplomatic boycott.

Qatar is one of the wealthiest countries on earth. Nonetheless, you cannot eat money. The peninsular nation imports most of its food through its land border with Saudi, which is now closed. Al Jazeera, a Qatar government-owned news network, has been reporting that trucks carrying food appear to be stranded on the Saudi side of the border. And in Doha, the people are in a state of panic “stockpiling perishable goods,” according to Al Jazeera. Many ships carrying food to Doha first stop in the UAE’s biggest cities, Dubai and Abu Dhabi; it’s unclear what effect the new bans will have on their movements. Ships from Europe seem to be unaffected just yet.

Tensions between Qatar and its neighbors exploded last month after Qatar’s state-run news agency published an article in which the Qatar’s ruling emir, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, was quoted praising Israel and Iran. These two are Saudi Arabia’s biggest adversaries in the region. Qatar swiftly disavowed the article as fake news manufactured by hackers. The Saudis remained unconvinced. Then on top of that, Sheikh Tamim made things even worse when a few days later he called Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to congratulate him on his reelection.

This new diplomatic crisis in the region is the biggest since the Gulf War in 1991. In our Cycle of War Part II, we focused on the Middle East and warned that there was a rift in the region that could lead to a serious war.

71% of People in Poland Want to Ban Muslim Immigration

The only way to protect Poland from Islamic terror attacks is to not allow Muslims to migrate en masse, which is now the view of 71% of the people. This is becoming the major issue in Poland and is at its core dispute with Brussels. When it comes to reducing the chances of Poland being hit by Islamic terror attacks, the overwhelming consensus is to simply ban Muslim migrants for the so called Syrian refugee crisis.

The most amazing thing is Brussels takes the position of accept refugees or get out of the EU. Poland still has its own currency. For its own survival, it should link with the USA and exit the EU. Many American banks and companies have moved their back-offices to Poland. They have far more to gain with a trade relationship with the USA than with the EU

London’s Muslim Mayor Sadiq Khan Calls For Official U.K. Ban Against President Donald Trump…

Well, there’s a gobsmacking amount of irony in this story.

After several Islamic Terrorist Attacks in the U.K. brought about by official policies of the U.K government, the most recent attack in London (again); the Mayor of the city of London Sadiq Khan (a Muslim) is now calling for an open border policy for all Muslim immigrants and a ban against any visit from U.S. President Donald Trump.

Let that sink in for a minute.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan is calling on the British government to cancel a state visit from President Trump after Trump criticized his response to this weekend’s terror attacks in London.

“I don’t think we should roll out the red carpet to the president of the USA in the circumstances where his policies go against everything we stand for,” Khan said in an interview with Britain’s Channel 4 News. (link)

UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Bahrain Cut Diplomatic Ties With Qatar…

There’s a history needed for context here.  But first, here’s the latest developments in order of their occurrence.

♦ 6:00am Bahrain’s Foreign Affairs Ministry issued a statement early Monday saying it would withdraw its diplomatic mission from the Qatari capital of Doha within 48 hours and that all Qatari diplomats should leave Bahrain within the same period.

The ministry’s statement said Qatari citizens needed to leave Bahrain within two weeks and that air and sea traffic between the two countries would be halted. It wasn’t immediately clear how that would affect Qatar Airways, one of the region’s major long-haul carriers.

Bahrain blamed Qatar’s “media incitement, support for armed terrorist activities and funding linked to Iranian groups to carry out sabotage and spreading chaos in Bahrain” for its decision.

♦ 7:00am Saudi Arabia says it is cutting diplomatic ties to Qatar and it has pulled all Qatari troops from the ongoing war in Yemen.

Saudi Arabia made the announcement via its state-run Saudi Press Agency early Monday. It appeared to be timed in concert with an earlier announcement by Bahrain similarly cutting ties.

♦ 8:00am The United Arab Emirates and Egypt have cut diplomatic ties to Qatar.  The two countries have joined Saudi Arabia and Bahrain in cutting ties to Qatar amid a growing Arab diplomatic dispute with the small, gas-rich nation.

Both the UAE and Egypt made the announcement on their state-run news agencies within minutes of each other.

Qatar has been a source of historic extremist and terrorist related problems for the Gulf Security Council and aforementioned Gulf States.

Here’s some historic background for possible context on the latest developments:

  • Qatar was the intermediary used by President Obama for covert arms and monetary transfers by the Obama CIA and Obama/Clinton State Department respectively.
  • Qatar was also the chosen home for detainees when President Obama released the GITMO terrorists.
  • Most importantly however, is the relationship between Qatar and the Muslim Brotherhood.  When Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi named the Muslim Brotherhood a terror organization, their leadership fled to safe harbor in Qatar.

el-sisi in Saudi

Egyptian President Fattah al-Sisi then began a months and years long assembly of Gulf Arab states (Gulf Security Council) to boycott Qatar, cut all diplomatic ties and isolate them until they renounced terrorism and stopped providing safe harbor for extremists.

Eventually Qatar acquiesced and sent the Muslim Brotherhood to Turkey.

President al-Sisi then asked Interpol to watch carefully and notify him if the Muslim Brotherhood were ever allowed to leave Turkey.  [Yeah, al-Sisi is a badass like that]  Recep Erdogan gave the Brotherhood safe harbor in Turkey.

◾2013 President al-Sisi charged and prosecuted the leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood. They fled to Qatar.  (link)
◾2014 President al-Sisi followed the MB to Qatar and initiated sanctions against Qatar until they stopped financing and harboring terror.  (link)
◾2015 Unrelenting President al-Sisi then formed a coalition against Qatar including the UAE and Saudi Arabia who withdrew their ambassadors and isolated Qatar in the region.  (link)  (link)

The extremist attack in Egypt last week was notably carried out by sympathizers of the Muslim Brotherhood.  The attack was launched from Libya.  Libyan Dawn, ISIS, al-Qaeda in Arabian Peninsular (AQAP) and al-Qaeda North Africa (AQIM) are all affiliates of the Muslim Brotherhood political extremist construct.  All of these entities have found financial resources structured, and/or organized, from inside Qatar.

Against the backdrop of President Trump calling for a joint coalition against extremist and violent Islamic terrorism it doesn’t come as a surprise to see the Gulf Arab States once again confronting Qatar in 2017.

The difference is this time (2017) they have a U.S. President willing to support the global effort to hunt down and eliminate the extremists.

“Drive Them Out” !

Is Trump Becoming More Popular in Europe than America?

While the leftists are out in force against Trump calling him racist and whatever else they can dream up for his travel ban from countries with Islamic terrorism, we are starting to see European protest against the anti-Trump movement. The London policy institute Chatham House calls a “reservoir of public support” on the continent for exactly such polices. The survey of 10,000 people found that support for ending Muslim immigration averaged 55% across 10 European countries, ranging from 71% in Poland to 41% in Spain. With the latest attacks in Britain, one must wonder how high this poll is going to go.

Perhaps there should be a 30 day sentence for those who are against travel bans. However, prison might be too good for them and they certainly will not learn anything but wear it as a badge of honor and they get room service. Perhaps they should be made to travel to the countries they support and have to stay their for 30 days in an average room, not a 5 star hotel with room service. Perhaps they might then begin to understand how much culture matters. In some place, a woman will be arrested for walking down the street un-escorted. Prostitution is just assumed. It is not a question of religion. Every religion has its extreme left and right if we are talking about Christians or Judaism. Islam is no different.

Turkey may be Islamic, but it is a totally different branch. Tuvana Türkay is a famous Turkish actress born in Istanbul who many consider one of the most naturally beautiful women. You would not suspect that she is Islamic from looking at this picture. Islam has its different flavors as does Christianity and Judaism. Trump’s six Islamic countries that were put on his ban list were actually selected by Obama. They were Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen. These are the countries where terrorists are being trained. Neither Turkey nor Iraq or UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Indonesia or other Islamic nations made the list. It was not a religious discrimination as CNN and others portrayed, but a cultural risk.

Git a few more terrorist attacks and Trump may be more popular in Europe than in America.

Britain Under Attack – Exiting EU is Only Choice

As we approach June 8th and the elections in Britain, one must wonder how is Britain going to remain inside the EU. The British never voted on allowing the refugees into Europe. That was a unilateral decision by Merkel to save her failing polls due to he harsh stand against Greece. Now Europe is engulfed in a clash that is tearing the continent apart between the liberals who think everybody is just wonderful and those who simply want security.

Now three attackers drove a van into pedestrians on London Bridge before stabbing revelers nearby on Saturday night, killing at least seven people and least 48 people were injured. This was the third terrorist attack to hit Britain in less than three months. With the snap parliamentary election on Thursday. May’s gamble on the June 8 snap election was cast into some doubt after a Survation poll showed her Conservative Party’s lead had dropped to a new low of just one percentage point.

Three attackers drove a van into pedestrians on London Bridge before stabbing revelers nearby on Saturday night, killing at least seven people in what Britain said was the work of Islamist militants engaged in a “new trend” of terrorism.

At least 48 people were injured in the attack, the third to hit Britain in less than three months. Police killed the three male assailants within eight minutes of receiving the first emergency call shortly after 10 p.m. local time. Prime Minister Theresa May announced: “We believe we are experiencing a new trend in the threat we face as terrorism breeds terrorism.”

“Perpetrators are inspired to attack not only on the basis of carefully constructed plots … and not even as lone attackers radicalized online, but by copying one another and often using the crudest of means of attack.”

The Prime Minister then said: “It is time to say enough is enough.”

Most of the main political parties suspended national campaigning on Sunday, but May said campaigning would resume on Monday and that the snap parliamentary election on Thursday would go ahead as planned.

The British Pound exceeded the Breakout Line, fell back, and then retest it as it then provided support in the 127 level. We see resistance at the 13026 area with the important technical resistance at the 134 area where the Weekly Bullish Reversals begin. This patter tends to warn about a pop to the upside, but the timing models also show this could be the end of the rally.

When we look at our computer model, what is fascinating is how it has targeted this week as a turning point even before May called the snap election. Of course it has merely intensified for this target, which appears in both the dollar as well as the euro.

We can see that the week of June 5th is also the main target for the Euro against the pound and we have a Directional Change at this time as well.

A Peace Summit Sullied

By Tabitha Korol
Arab leaders met in Egypt for the Arab League Summit ostensibly to start a peace process with Israel, the same peace process that the Arabs have, without exception, always declined in the past.  This time, they hope that our new President Trump will support a two-state solution, one that would give Israel a contiguous border with her avowed, homicidal enemy. They also expect to negate Trump’s campaign promise to move America’s embassy to Israel’s capital, Jerusalem, in keeping with the construct of violence that the Mohammedans have scorched into the history of every vanquished territory.

Arab recognition of Israel’s right to exist was part of the 1948 peace plan, yet this is what the Arabs sidestep.  They want a Palestinian state not alongside, but in place of, Israel. Since the Arabs lost their aggressive war of June 1967 against Israel, they have sought to obtain the territory by other means – if not through warfare then through demographic jihad – the overwhelming of the small Jewish State by those who fled in 1948 together with their progeny, a total of 4.3 million.  What do they promise in return?  Nothing.  Not to stop the riots, violence, intifadas.  Not to stop teaching hate in their schools.  Not to strive for real peace with their neighbor state, Israel. Ever.

Meanwhile, an Islamic State (IS) jihadist, Abu Baker Almaqdesi, revealed their “big operation” to encircle Israel’s borders, and attack and expel the Jews from “occupied Palestine.” Concurrently, the Jerusalem Post reported that UNESCO is considering a resolution that will contest Israel’s sovereignty over western Jerusalem, home to all of Israel’s governing bodies.

Washington Post reporter and Cairo bureau chief Sudarsan Raghavan wrote about the Arab League Summit on March 29, in his article, “In a message to Trump, Arab leaders renew calls for a Palestinian state,” but strategically omitted crucial information!  He said that the Arab League called for fresh peace talks with reconciliation if Israel returns the “Arab lands it has occupied,” but the premise is completely fallacious.  The territories to which he refers, the West Bank (Judea and Samaria) and eastern Jerusalem are not “Arab lands” or Palestinian lands, but lands in dispute by both parties because the Palestinians are challenging the internationally accepted rule that the aggressor has no lawful claim to land.  Raghavan has not the authority to exchange the designations of ‘disputed territories’ for ‘occupied Arab lands.”  Repeating the assertion does not bestow validity.

The United Nations defines an act of aggression as being in contravention of the UN Charter, ruling that a war of aggression is always wrong.  Further, the UN states that territorial acquisition or special advantage resulting from aggression is always unlawful.

The Jews have maintained ties to their historic homeland for more than 3,700 years; if not for foreign conquerors, an independent Jewish state would, today, be 3,000 years old.  Even after Jewish exile, small Jewish communities remained for 2,000 years, and in the early 20th century, returning Jews developed the land from a largely uninhabited wasteland with malarial swamps into a thriving, dynamic, productive society, recognized by legal documents.  Only then did the Arabs begin to show an interest in the land.  There has never been an independent Palestinian state; the allegations are yet another warfare strategy.

By design, Raghayan does not clarify that Israel’s control of these disputed areas came from fighting and winning a defensive war; the Arabs were the aggressors. For example, after Germany’s defeat in World War I, the Treaty of Versailles placed punitive conditions on Germany, with significant financial reparations, loss of territory, humiliation and war guilt, yet the Arabs, despite their aggression and loss, are permitted to demand territory!  Further, had Jordan not joined the war, it would not have lost the West Bank or eastern Jerusalem – over which it reigned for a mere 19 years. As the victorious defenders, Israel has no obligation to withdraw to the 1967 borders, to negotiate and offer compromises, particularly as the Palestinians continue their terrorist attacks against innocent Israeli citizens.
Jordan’s King Abdullah has repeatedly blamed the region’s instability on the Palestinian cause, yet history confirms that the Middle East has, to this day, suffered from 7th century backwardness, ignorance, countless civil wars, sharia law’s brutality, and the rise of ISIS, none of which are related to Israel.  The King’s focus on the Palestinian issue in the midst of so much internal strife in Syria, Iraq, Libya and Yemen, is undoubtedly calculated to give the White House a false impression of Arab unity and agreement.

Raghavan’s article suggests that Israel is inflexible, but Israel offered the Palestinians a contiguous state, withdrawal from 95% of the West Bank and 100% of Gaza, and to dismantle more than 100 of her own communities.  Israel had also offered religious sovereignty over the Temple Mount and a right of refugee return with reparations, yet the Arabs rejected negotiations in 2000, 2001, and 2008.  Neither does the bureau chief address Israel’s very legitimate security concerns.

If Israel were to cede the Golan Heights, it would give ISIS the elevation advantage to shell Israeli citizens below and attack Tel Aviv and Israel’s major airport with impunity.  In the past, Israeli children had been forced to sleep in bomb shelters.  The Palestinian Authority was supposed to renounce terror and prohibit lethal weapons and violence on Israel, yet they give access to shiploads of explosives to arm the P.L.O. and Hamas, and continue their classes and summer camps, where they indoctrinate the Palestinian public and children to seek martyrdom by killing Israelis.  Their teachings violate the letter and spirit of the peace agreements.  They continue to be deadly partners for peace.

Meanwhile, President Trump’s campaign promise of relocating the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem is on hold.  As with all ideas repugnant to Islam, the proposal is countered with threats of anger and violence.  The Koran contains at least 109 versus that call Muslims to war for the sake of Islamic rule.  Mohammed’s own martial legacy against all of “Infideldom” and the Koran’s stress of violence continue their trail of misery and death across 14 centuries of world history.

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said a two-state solution was the “only path to ensure [that] Palestinians and Israelis can realize their national aspirations and live in peace, security and dignity.”   Regrettably, he has no concept of their true national aspiration.  If we learned anything from Islamic history, it is that a partial conquest today means another claim for tomorrow, until Israel is dedicated to Allah.  Because despite the Arab infighting, all factions of Islam agree on one thing – that Israel – and the West – have no right to exist.

US to Review Visa Waivers for the EU

EU Italy Passport

The United States is now reviewing the Visa Waiver Program for the European Union. The entire problem has been the porous borders of Europe created by Merkel’s unilateral decision to accept refugees which was NEVER put to a vote for all of Europe. Brussels has simply been dictated to by Merkel and then imposed her unilateral decision as mandatory upon the whole of Europe. This has resulted in more than 20 terror attacks in France alone.

European visitors to the USA have had easier access to the country for years. Now, Home Secretary John Kelly has explained that a review is absolutely necessary as foreign fighters from the Islamic state return to Europe and try to travel to the US. Donald Trump had already announced this measure several weeks ago. Nevertheless, with the EU entrenched in its refugee crisis and evidence has surfaced that Merkel’s opening of the flood gates allowed terrorists to freely enter.

If the USA wiped out the Islamic state in Iraq and Syria, this will only raise retaliation attempts against the USA. The threat of the terrorist groups worldwide using Europe to get into the USA as the mercenaries with European citizenship will cause a major diplomatic crisis. It is a concern that is equally shared behind the curtain by the European allies. A significant number of fighters have already been scheming ways to get into Europe and to make the trip to the USA under EU passports.

This entire program is now coming under review. What Markel has done is seriously disrupting all of Europe and the protecting of one’s borders has been a major issue in Britain as well as France.

Belgium, Spain, France, the UK, Austria, Italy and Germany, as well as foreign countries such as Australia, South Korea, Singapore, Chile and Japan are part of the visa exemption program. People from these countries are not exempted if they also have dual citizenship from Iraq, Iran, Syria and Sudan. Trump has already signed a decree making the issue of temporary visas more difficult for foreign professionals. There is no easy solution because the security of one nation can be undermined by one guard in another country that is bribed to allow someone to enter Europe. Unless every country undergoes its own review, security can be undermined rather easily.

The terrorists are using a compound called triacetone triperoxide, or TATP, a crystalline powder that is a nightmare to terrorists as well as authorities. It is an unstable white powder or acetone peroxide triacetone triperoxide. It is actually easy to make and very hard to detect. The nightmare is this compound is highly unstable. In fact, all it takes is a firm tap to explode this compound with the force of about 80% as strong as that of TNT. The terrorists call it “the Mother of Satan.”

The “shoe bomber” used TATP back in 2001, as did terrorists in London both in 2005 and 2006. This was also the compound used in bombs detonated at the University of Oklahoma back in 2005 and Texas City in 2006. It was also used in the terrorist attacks in Paris and the Brussels airport.

The 2015 Russian plane that blew up with just two pounds of explosives was also probably TATP. This incident raised serious new threats. The Metrojet attack introduced a key vulnerability of all airports: the risk not from passengers but from airport staff. If investigators are right and militants did use sympathetic ground staff to smuggle the bomb on board Metrojet Flight 9268, then that might not be just a Egyptian or Sharm el-Sheikh problem; it could be a global problem. The Somali bomb was  an explosive device built into a laptop computer that detonated on a Somali passenger jet which was very “sophisticated” and got past X-ray machines at the Mogadishu airport. There were concerns that that too was an inside job.

The major crisis that is brewing in travel remains that starting in 2018, the need for security may find a lot more restrictions upon travel.

Terrorism Strikes The Heart of Paris, Again…

Media are reporting that at least one police officer had been killed and at least two others seriously wounded by two Kalashnikov-wielding gunmen on the Champs Elysees in central Paris tonight.

French authorities have stated the incident was probably a ‘terrorist act’ and the famous venue was on lockdown by 9pm as heavily armed officers flooded the area. Another individual – believed to be the killer – was killed, according to police sources.

Reports suggest ‘at least’ two shooters were involved in the attack which took place as presidential candidates took part in a TV debate nearby before Sunday’s election.
