Senator John Thune Requests President Trump “Stay Out of” the Senate Majority Leader Decision

Posted originally on the CTH on November 7, 2024 | Sundance

Senator John Thune has been groomed by Mitch McConnell to be his replacement for decades.  Thune’s ascension to the role of Senate Majority Leader is essentially a foregone conclusion.

Senator Thune will carry the full support of roughly 15-to-20 senate DeceptiCons (deceptive conservatives), and perhaps a dozen more squishy ones in the middle who want great committee positions. The important dynamic that comes into play now is Senate Committee Chairman “leverage” for Donald Trump’s nominees.

Earlier today on CNBC Senator John Thune discussed the upcoming secret ballot election for Senate Majority Leader.  WATCH (prompted):

.

Essentially, this is Thune’s gentle first shot requesting President Trump “stay out of” the senate caucus decision.  Likely, what matters most to President Trump is getting his nominees past the Republican majority confirmation process.  Thune was in previous talks with President Trump several months ago, and again several weeks ago in Mar-a-Lago.

Senator Thune doesn’t want President Trump to put his finger on the scale. If matters of the Senate are left alone, Thune ascends – period. However, Thune isn’t stupid and would like Trump to support him. Essentially, Thune would welcome intervention so long as the intervention came with an endorsement.

Thune wants to be Senate Majority Leader.  President Trump wants all of his ‘advise and consent’ nominees to glide through confirmation.

We should look for President Trump to endorse Thune; generally, that would indicate terms have been agreed and we can be optimistic.  However, if we do not see an endorsement from President Trump, or if Trump endorses someone else, then we should watch out for full DeceptiCon opposition in the Senate from here on out.

A lot of the dynamic exists without any outside influence.  The two positioned candidates are John Thune (SD) and John Cornyn (TX).  Thune is heavily favored and likely has an easy inside track.  The number of MAGA senators is around ten, not really enough to block any organized leadership challenge.

Our MAGA movement benefits from appointments gaining confirmation.  President Trump well understands the negotiations and maneuvering that will be needed to get the right committee chairs and members in place.

The Gatekeeper – President Trump Selects Senior Campaign Advisor Susie Wiles for White House Chief of Staff Role

The first selection by President Trump, highlighting his team to enter the White House, has been made.  President Trump selects Susie Wiles to be his Chief of Staff in the White House.  Mrs Wiles will be the first female White House Chief of Staff in history.

“Susie is tough, smart, innovative, and is universally admired and respected. Susie will continue to work tirelessly to Make America Great Again,” Trump said in a statement. “It is a well-deserved honor to have Susie as the first-ever female Chief of Staff in United States history. I have no doubt that she will make our country proud.”

(Via AP) – Successful chiefs of staff serve as the president’s confidant, help execute a president’s agenda and balance competing political and policy priorities. They also tend to serve as a gatekeeper, helping determine whom the president spends his time with and whom he speaks to — an effort Trump chafed under inside the White House.

Wiles is a longtime Florida-based Republican strategist who ran Trump’s campaigns in the state in 2016 and 2020. Before that, she ran Rick Scott’s 2010 campaign for Florida governor and briefly served as the manager of former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman’s 2012 presidential campaign. (link)

(Via Politico) – “A veteran of Florida politics, Wiles directed Trump’s campaign to victory in the state in 2016. She also helped lead Ron DeSantis’ 2018 campaign for Florida governor, before a falling out that prompted the Florida governor to successfully lobby the Trump team to fire her. Wiles was brought back shortly thereafter for the 2020 campaign in Florida.

Despite having little experience in the nation’s capital, Wiles will become the White House’s envoy to the sprawling executive branch agencies and to Congress. She has not worked in Washington in decades, since her time in Ronald Reagan’s Labor Department, in Reagan’s White House as a scheduler and on Capitol Hill for the late Rep. Jack Kemp (R-N.Y). (link)

Mrs Wiles was basically responsible for controlling the access to candidate Donald Trump in the 2024 campaign.  Her time away from DC politics is potentially both a negative and a net positive.  Heck, Ron DeSantis didn’t like her, but rumors are they made amends.

While I doubt Mrs Wiles understands the nature of the fourth branch of government, she will likely be a critical advisor to President Trump despite the fringe right elements of the MAGA movement predictably about to go bananas.  Anyone wanting to work for President Trump will now go through the filter of Wiles.

Meh, I am waiting to hear who White House Counsel will be.

FED Chair Jerome Powell Asserts He Will Not Resign if Asked by President Trump

Posted originally on the CTH on November 7, 2024 | Sundance

There is no reason to believe President Trump will ask Jerome Powell to resign; however, with trillions at stake and the power system (bankers) generally in charge of the government, the media has been manufacturing and pushing a hostile narrative about it for quite some time.

Powell’s term on the Fed Board of Governors ends in mid-2026. The president nominates, and the Senate confirms, the FED Board’s chair and two vice chairs for four-year terms. President Trump picked Jerome Powell, then a governor, to be chair, succeeding Janet Yellen when her term was up in 2018. Powell’s term as chair extends to February 2022.

.

At the news conference announcing the Fed’s decision to lower interest rates by a quarter point Powell was questioned if he would leave his post if asked by Trump, he answered simply, “No.”

Asked if the president could fire or demote him or other Fed governors, Powell simply replied: “Not permitted under the law.”

The Bloom is Off the Ruse – Harris Camp Faces Massive Scrutiny Over Spending $1.3 Billion in Three Months, and Facing Debt, David Plouffe Runs From Twitter

Posted originally on the CTH on November 7, 2024 | Sundance

A few articles for the historic record are in order.  First, this one about the Kamala Harris campaign team taking all of the Biden campaign money, then fundraising for another $1 billion, with a “B”, and now facing $20 million in unpaid debts.

We all know the Harris campaign consisted of over-the-top manipulation to give the illusion of support.  However, the scale of how much money it took to generate that false impression is only just now starting to surface.

As the details surface, Senior Harris advisor and former Campaign Manager for Barack Obama, David Plouffe, now deletes his Twitter account and attempts to hide.

It appears that many of the “Hollywood” actors and music industry “Talent,” as well as their concerts therein, were paid big money for those promotions.  Matthew Boyle is starting to reveal the scale:

Boyle: “Ok so this just got very explosive. A Kamala campaign staffer who saw these posts called me just now and said there is a massive scandal here worthy of an audit.

The $20 million debt thing is real. Rob Flaherty, this staffer said, is currently shopping around the Kamala fundraising email list to anyone who wants it to try to raise the money back. This includes other campaigns and outside groups.

Flaherty is the deputy campaign manager and reports to Jen O’Malley Dillon.

“Jen blew through a billion dollars in a few months, and it was all Jen’s idea to do all the concerts.” — Kamala campaign adviser told me

This source added that O’Malley Dillon did these “concerts,” like Katy Perry, Lizzo, Eminem, Bruce Springsteen et cetera at the expense of “prioritizing and spending money on social media and other campaign priorities.”

Apparently, a group in Georgia had to lay off 100 people because they couldn’t pay them.

It’s unclear at this time if the campaign PAID the talent to perform but the cost of production for the events was “immense.”

What’s more, this Kamala campaign staffer said several people who were working for the Kamala Harris for President campaign are still awaiting several overdue payments they were promised for their work. IE, they didn’t pay the staff.

This Kamala campaign staffer said to me: “People didn’t like working with her. Many people on the campaign felt like we lost because Kamala wasn’t allowed to run her campaign. They were running Joe Biden’s campaign instead of a Kamala campaign. Obnoxious and very much a gate keeper and interfering with the vice president’s people who were trying to do their job.” (link)

Joe Biden Gives His First Remarks Following Resounding Trump Victory

Check out (video at :50) who was at the White House today for Joe Biden’s post-election speech, John Podesta. Interesting.

While Biden was effusive in his praise for Kamala Harris’ campaign. It seemed like his comments were more passive aggressive snark than genuine compliments. Maybe there is something to the rumors of Biden Inc disliking immensely the Obama/Harris camp.  Video Below:

November 7th – 2024 Presidential Politics – Resistance Day 1389

Posted originally on the CTH on November 7, 2024 | Sundance

“This was no small thing, to restore a republic after it had fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may have been that our task was impossible. Yet, if we did not try then how would we know it could not be done? And if we did not try, it most certainly would not be done. The Founders’ Republic, and the larger war for western civilization, would have been lost.”

“But I tell you this: We did not go gently into that bloody collectivist good night. Indeed, we made with our defiance such a sound as ALL history from this day forward will be forced to note, even if they despise us in the writing of it.”

DOJ Drops Jack Smith Lawfare Cases, Using 2024 Election Outcome as Justification

Posted originally on the CTH on November 6, 2024 | Sundance

In Florida, Judge Ailleen Cannon threw out the “classified documents case” against President Trump, citing in her opinion that Special Counsel Jack Smith had no constitutional authority to target and charge President Trump. Did you notice the missing DOJ appeal effort?

In the J6 case President Trump was accused of conspiring to illegally overturn the 2020 election. Charged with conspiracy to defraud the United States, obstruction of an official proceeding and conspiracy against rights. However, the Supreme Court decision on presidential immunity, again threw a wrench into the Lawfare strategy.

President Trump wins a massive electoral and popular vote landslide election. Within 12-hours the DOJ announce that technical legal processes block them from targeting a president-elect and sitting president.

The non-pretending reality of the issue is that Jack Smith and the Lawfare attacks were always going to end up in appeal to the Supreme Court, and the high court had already put its opinion on record. The election result provides the DOJ an excuse, a plausible justification to save face.

(Via NBC) – Justice Department officials have been evaluating how to wind down the two federal criminal cases against President-elect Donald Trump before he takes office to comply with long-standing department policy that a sitting president can’t be prosecuted, two people familiar with the matter tell NBC News.

The latest discussions stand in contrast with the pre-election legal posture of special counsel Jack Smith, who in recent weeks took significant steps in the election interference case against Trump without regard to the electoral calendar.

But the sources say DOJ officials have come to grips with the fact that no trial is possible anytime soon in either the Jan. 6 case or the classified documents matter — both of which are mired in legal issues that would likely prompt an appeal all the way to the Supreme Court, even if Trump had lost the election.

Now that Trump will become president again, DOJ officials see no room to pursue either criminal case against him — and no point in continuing to litigate them in the weeks before he takes office, the people said. (read more)

In the New York City case, watch Judge Merchan defer any sentencing outcome pending the appeals to the higher state court.  Those appeals will likely be successful, and the entire issue sitting in front of Merchan becomes a moot point.

Remember what we always said about Lawfare as defined:

With the election over the value of Lawfare is gone.

They failed!

Don’t forget to eat your winnamins.

Jeff Bezos Congratulates President Trump….

Posted originally on the CTH on November 6, 2024 | Sundance

I said previously that if you understand the prism behind high-finance and the 2024 election alignment, then all the moves would make sense.  Here’s a great example:

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is going to end up riding his bicycle in slow circles at the end of the White House driveway while waving toward the windows, unless he finds a way to work himself into a more strategic position.  It’s a little funny.

BACKDROP REMINDER – It’s a Game of Thrones thing, and multiple interests have contacted me for questions following the Washington Post non-endorsement of Kamala Harris.  I’ll explain in detail, but first the latest development in the moves.  Always remember, there are trillions at stake.

NEW YORK – Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos has reportedly given the newspaper a mandate to add more conservative voices to its opinion section — even as he remains silent over the broadsheet’s decision not to endorse a candidate in the 2024 presidential election.

Bezos — the world’s second richest person with a fortune that Bloomberg Billionaires Index valued at $211 billion as of Monday — is keen on gaining a more ideologically diverse readership by expanding his newspaper’s reach among right-leaning audiences, according to a report in The New York Times.

The Amazon founder, meanwhile, has remained silent over the non-endorsement controversy. He has not spoken publicly amid protests from high-level staffers and prominent figures such as Watergate reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein. (read more)

The framework, the inside baseball political stuff, is never truly explained by media.  The financial media play this pretending game that we are not bound to follow.

You will remember last year when I dug deep into the financial system around Twitter, Elon Musk’s purchase, and the viability of the business model.  In short, by the time he reached October/November ’23 there was going to be no way for Musk to continue operating Twitter without some serious change in financial construct.

So, what happened?

Larry Ellison happened.

In a little-known background conversation that President Trump is well aware of, Oracle founder Larry Ellison said, “I will not allow Musk to fall.”  Thus, an immediate and opportune alignment began that shows the strategic thinking of billionaire Larry Ellison.

Ellison gains around $50 billion per year from his operations.  Oracle is huge. The X-platform subsequently began big contracts with Oracle.   Twitter’s fate is now intrinsically linked to Ellison. Nuf said.

With that scale of GFY money now steadfast backing him, Elon Musk not only had breathing room, but he also had the ability to take big risks.

After testing the water with DeSantis, likely stirred by Ellison taking a peek, it became obvious the best play was to fully support Trump.  Week after week, as President Trump solidly gained position for next week’s election, Elon Musk leaned in further and deeper.  Elon Musk is now the biggest influence operation in the 2024 MAGA movement.

As a direct consequence of Musk’s position, Larry Ellison -by extension Oracle- is now easily positioned to be the biggest beneficiary of a Trump win.  Ellison is the biggest influence operation; but as all influence and leverage operations go, he’s also the quietest influence.

Larry Ellison (Oracle) is the hand on the Elon Musk Marionette.  All Musk moves are with this background alignment as the underpinning.

With a Trump victory next week becoming more and more predictable, the biggest loser was set to be Larry Ellison’s billionaire competitor, Jeff Bezos (Amazon).

Jeff Bezos needs to position himself to avoid being totally shut out from White House influence ability.  The non-endorsement was the first move.  The shift in ideological alignment within the Washington Post (article above) is the second move.  Bezos is mitigating and strategizing risk.  That’s what is going on.

These are not media outlets in your traditional frame of reference. These are influence operations aligned with the interests of the billionaires behind them. It’s a game of thrones thing. Each interest has their own advocacy group. That’s what you would call “modern media”. Bezos has the Washington Post, Ellison positioned himself with Twitter; the intent is the same.

The biggest winners from the Trump victory will be Larry Ellison (Oracle), his super influence operator Elon Musk, and their smaller -albeit ideologically similar- friend, Peter Thiel (Palantir).

This is the inside baseball stuff that circles the President Trump campaign orbit in very close proximity. This is the command-and-control influence operation that determines outcomes. When Trump wins, these interests are positioned for strongest influence.

If you want to really understand what is happening, follow this background context as the intellectual filter and you will be watching President Trump Term-2 politics with clear eyes.  However, always remember, these are their personal interests.  As long as they align with MAGA, all is cool.  If their personal interests diverge from MAGA, we will have a problem.

There are trillions at stake.

Humorous Intermission

We are a brilliant country.

No other nation in the world comes close to the innovation that originates from inside the USA, true story.

That American spirit, often just snark-filled humor, is simply part of our national DNA; yet we rarely -until Trump- actually paused to think about it. Remember, keep living your very best life. ENJOY:
