Civil unrest continues as tens of thousands of Bulgarians took to the streets last month to protest government spending, or at least that is what the headlines would lead one to believe. The government released its 2026 budget proposal, which included higher taxes and increased social security contributions, sparking nationwide outrage led by youth. Now, Parliament is withdrawing the budget unanimously, as citizens demanded the right to be heard. Yet, the true nature of the protests surrounds the forced adoption of the euro.
Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov has been urged to resign; President Rumen Radev backed protesters while accusing violence as “mafia provocation.” Protestors set the entrance to the office of the European Commission on fire. Bulgaria is set to join the eurozone on January 1, 2026. The budget maxes out the 3% deficit as demanded by the European Commission. The people know that appeasing the European Commission is the main reason they want to increase taxes, and Bulgarians do not want to surrender their national identity to Brussels.
But Bulgaria is set to join the eurozone as the 21st member despite political unrest. The euro was never created as a currency to enhance trade or economic efficiency. It was designed as a stepping stone toward federalizing Europe. Europe has always sought the benefits of a single currency without surrendering fiscal sovereignty. Brussels will accept Bulgaria even without a clear budget because it needs to feed a dying system.
Bulgaria will forego its sovereignty. Goodbye independent rate decisions. Bulgaria will not have a national currency to adjust during downturns. They will be forced into the one-size-fits-all monetary system centered around the top European economies that are on the decline. The EU is attempting to recruit Romania into its scheme as well. Then there is the matter of absorbing Ukraine into the mix. The centralized authority in Brussels has no plan for the sovereign debt crisis that awaits it next year going into 2028.
Vinay Prasad, director of the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER), sent out an internal email to the Food and Drug Administration featuring “a profound revelation”—the COVID-19 vaccine is responsible for the deaths of a minimum of 10 American children.
“In many cases, such mandates were harmful,” Prasad wrote. “It is difficult to read cases where kids aged 7 to 16 may be dead as a result of covid vaccines.” Prasad also referenced two journal articles by FDA Commissioner Marty Makary that state the vaccines by Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna increased the risks of myocarditis or heart inflammation in children and young men.
The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) has attempted to trace the damage caused by mandated vaccines. Prasad said in his memo that he only analyzed 96 deaths that occurred from 2021 to 2024 from the FDA’s Office of Biostatistics and Pharmacovigilance. The director admitted the real number of deaths is much higher.
Prasad is now under attack by his peers who refuse to admit that there was a flaw in the vaccine. “It’s irresponsible science at best and it’s dangerous to the public at the very least,” said Michael Osterholm, director of the University of Minnesota’s Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy. Kathyrn Edwards, vaccine researcher and professor emerita at Vanderbilt University, demanded autopsies showing “actual cardiac involvement.” Goodman, who led CBER during the George W. Bush administration, claimed the memo was “destined to go externally” and perhaps Goodman is correct.
The COVID vaccine first became available on December 14, 2020. It has been nearly five years, and the public still does not know exactly what was in the concoction, nor has any government or private agency accurately studied the deaths attributed to the mRNA shots. Over 7.1 million people died from COVID-19 and the world has simply shrugged off the evidence that this virus was manufactured, unleashed on the public, and treated with a dangerous concoction mandated by global governments.

The Bank of Korea (BOK) has renewed its bilateral swap agreement with the People’s Bank of China (PBOC) amid strengthened ties between Seoul and Beijing. Chinese President Xi Jinping met South Korean President Lee Jae-myung, marking the state visit to China in over a decade.
The swap line will remain at 400 billion yuan, providing direct yuan-won liquidity. The arrangement was made years ago and this was simply a renewal of faith. The agreement will last for five years until October 21, 2030, with the option to extend. Interestingly, this times out with the Sovereign Debt Crisis peak in 2028-2032. Seoul needs a non-dollar liquidity backstop if the West fractures. It also provides a hedge against the risk of US sanctions, or, far worse, a removal from SWIFT.
Years of tension between the two nations did not suddenly vanish, but trade is the great peacemaker. Both countries need this option because the global monetary system is beginning to fail. The yuan-won swap is an alternative buffer for South Korea if dollar dominance weakens, but this is not de-dollarization at hand.
The US still has the strongest market for public and private debt. Nations are seeking parallel channels to the US system, but are not turning their backs on the dollar. Governments, central banks, and private institutions remain confident in the dollar; it’s the government they’re worried about. This is the exact reason why there are whispers that the BOK will increase gold purchases, as it is necessary to hedge against governments. Again, the BOK has always maintained gold reserves but has not increased its purchases since 2013. None of this is a sign of de-dollarization.

On March 20, 2017, New York Rep Elise Stefanik questioned then FBI Director James Comey about why he opened a counterintelligence operation against the leading GOP candidate in July 2016 and did not inform congress until early March – just before the hearing.
In an effort to avoid scrutiny James Comey replied, “because of the sensitivity of the matter.” Comey obfuscated the informal requirement in a blatant attempt to dodge specific inquires the FBI’s motives and intentions with the targeting of Donald Trump.
Elise Stefanik is attempting to formalize a legal requirement for congressional notification so that any candidate for federal office cannot be investigated by the FBI without informing the ‘Gang of Eight’ about what is going on. Stefanik wants to include the requirement in the National Defense Reauthorization Act and Intelligence Authorization Act.
While the effort itself is simple, require the FBI to inform congress, as we saw in 2016 the FBI throw the bag of National Security over the issue, and the congressional notification is moot – particularly when congress is in agreement with the targeting of the FBI.
After James Comey made that admission in 2017, not a single member of congress or the House Intelligence Committee pressed him on the issue. Instead of immediately notifying James Comey that his admission was potentially a violation of law and launching an immediate investigation into the conduct of the FBI, congress simply ignored it.
After a productive discussion I had last night with President Trump and Speaker Johnson, the provision requiring Congressional disclosure when the FBI opens counterintelligence investigations into presidential and federal candidates seeking office will be included in the IAA/NDAA bill on the floor.
This is a significant legislative win delivered against the illegal weaponization of the deep state.

Others involved credited President Donald Trump for playing mediator after the New York Republican threatened to “tank” the must-pass National Defense Authorization Act as part of her public targeting of Johnson. The three spoke by phone Tuesday night about her threats, according to two people granted anonymity to describe the private call. [link]
{GO DEEP} – Former FBI Director James Comey openly admitted to Congress on March 20, 2017, how the FBI, FBI Counterintelligence Division, DOJ and DOJ-National Security Division, together with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and the CIA, had been conducting independent investigations of Donald Trump for over a year without informing Congress [the Gang of Eight]. When asked the question, Comey winced, then justified the lack of informing Go8 oversight by saying, “um, because of the sensitivity of the matter?”
Stupidly, Congress never pressed James Comey on that issue. The arrogance of Comey was astounding, and the acceptance by Congress was infuriating. However, that specific example highlighted just how politically corrupt the system had become. In essence, Team Obama usurped the entire design of congressional oversight…. and Congress just brushed it off.
This event, and everything in the background as outlined within the James Comey admission, factually happened. It is on the record, admitted and nothing about the reality of what took place is subject to conjecture or refute.
Yet somehow, we, specifically our Congress, just moved on as if what FBI Director James Comey outlined and admitted wasn’t a total usurpation of the U.S. Constitution and a collapse in the structure of our coequal branches of government.
We cannot fight our way through the issues until we first realize what lies at the root of the problem.
(1) The Patriot Act turned the intel surveillance radar from foreign searches for terrorists to domestic searches for terrorists.
(2) Obama/Biden then redefined what is a “terrorist” to include their political opposition.

In an effort to return common sense, practicality and affordability to the American consumer base for automobiles, President Trump announced the elimination of Joe Biden’s Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standards for manufactured cars and trucks.
Under the auspices of the “Green New Deal”, the Biden administration mandated ridiculous quotas for EVs and demanded lower power combustible engines, or pay a climate change tax. These CAFE standards resulted in a surcharge for large vehicles, large engine autos and SUVs, and essentially bifurcated the auto consumer into those who could afford to pay for efficiency and stability, and those who could not.
“We’re officially terminating Joe Biden’s ridiculously burdensome, horrible actually, CAFE standards that impose expensive restrictions and all sorts of problems, gave all sorts of problems to automakers,” President Trump announced from the Oval Office. “It put tremendous upward pressure on car prices, combined with the insane electric vehicle mandate. Biden’s burdensome regulations helped cause the price of cars to soar more than 25%,” President Trump said. WATCH:

President Trump is returning CAFE standards to levels that can actually be met with conventional gasoline and diesel vehicles. The Biden Administration standards imposed unrealistic fuel economy targets that effectively resulted in an electric vehicle (EV) mandate.
The Trump Administration’s reset of the CAFE standards ensures the program’s fidelity to the legal restrictions set forth by Congress.
The Biden standards broke the law by going far beyond the requirements that were mandated by Congress when it created the CAFE program.
SAVING AMERICAN FAMILIES MONEY: Today’s action represents an enormous win in response to the cost-of-living increases imposed on the economy by the Biden Administration.
The Biden Administration created extraordinarily stringent fuel economy standards for passenger cars and trucks, set at such aggressive levels that they were impossible to meet with available technologies for gas cars.
The Biden standards would have compelled widespread shifts to EVs that American consumers did not ask for, accompanied by significant cost-of-living increases. Since EVs are so expensive to build, automakers must sell them at a loss and make up the difference by significantly raising the sticker price of gas cars.
If President Trump had done nothing, the Biden standards would have raised the average cost of a new car by nearly $1,000, relative to the cost under the standards announced today.
President Trump’s actions will save American families $109 billion in total over the next five years. By helping more Americans buy newer, safer vehicles, this reset is projected to save more than 1,500 lives and prevent nearly a quarter-million serious injuries through 2050.
MARKING A CRITICAL BATTLE IN THE FIGHT AGAINST BIDEN’S HIDDEN COST-OF-LIVING INCREASES: The CAFE reset represents the latest action by President Trump to prevent the Biden EV-related policies from raising costs for Americans.
In June, President Trump signed a joint resolution to end the California EV mandates, which would have effectively been a 100% ban on new gas cars sold in the state by 2035 (with similar effects in 17 states that adopted California’s standards).
In July, President Trump signed into law the Working Families Tax Cuts Act, which set the civil penalty for violating CAFE standards to $0, protecting the U.S. auto manufacturing industry from significant fines.
Under President Trump, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has also released its proposal to rescind the 2009 Endangerment Finding, which ignores Congress’ clear intent under the Clean Air Act and has been used to justify over $1 trillion in costs for the American consumers and economy.
Today’s action helps ensure that even if far-left Democrats return to power, the CAFE standards are sensible, so U.S. automakers are not held to infeasible standards.
Combined with auto loan interest deductibility for new made-in-the-USA vehicles, President Trump continues to deliver real relief that makes owning a safe, reliable car more affordable for every American family. (source)
