Anyone for Mushrooms?

The ascendancy of Islam – please, no adjectives – is the punitive correction for the West’s rejection of the Creation narrative of the Book of Genesis, whose theology is also rejected by Islam.

Indeed, it’s providential that Judeo-Christian, Capitalist America, once the leader of the Free World, is retreating from the Islamic Middle East under the aegis of Barack Obama, self-professed Muslim further impoverished by Socialism.

Obama’s rise is symptomatic of America’s decline. America has forsaken its raison d’être, its world-historical purpose. Until Obama, it was America’s grand purpose to safeguard political freedom, hence to prevent any imperialistic world power from obliterating the existence of the independent nation state. The destruction of the nation state was precisely the goal of Marxist Russia and of Nazi Germany – two totalitarian regimes which have been succeeded by totalitarian and imperialistic Islam.

Enter Obama. Animated by egalitarian envy and racial animosity, Obama has combined a cockamamie version of Marxism and of Islamic supremacism for a double-barreled assault on the diversity and creativity of nation state system mandated by the Bible of Israel.

Isn’t it significant that both Marxism and Islam reject international borders? Isn’t it also significant that Marxism and Islam reject the primacy of reason and moral suasion, as opposed to primacy of force and coercion? Can it be that Islam is animated by paganism, and that Marxism, which has been called an inverted religion, is also animated by paganism – say by homotheism?

Accordingly, it should not be too surprising that some college-educated American youth are joining ISIS, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. ISIS is a manifestation of politico-religious nihilism. It attracts bored and disillusioned American youth who, like youth in general, want adventure. They are disgusted with academia and its sterile mushroom diet of multicultural moral relativism.☼

When Muslims Assassinate


When Muslims assassinate Kafirs who offend Islam, they are following Mohammed’s perfect example. Any Muslim is permitted to carry out the death sentence, vigilante justice. This is why there was an attempted assassination at Pam Geller’s Garland, TX event.

But what is the perfect Sunna on assassinations? There are five examples of Mohammed ordering people to be murdered because of what they said about him. There was a Jewish poet, an Arab poetess, dancing girls who sang satirical songs, a tribal chief who was planning to fight Mohammed and another Jew who offended Mohammed.

So the next time a Kafir who offends Islam is killed, it is because of Mohammed’s standing orders.

A Birthright Abandoned

The mission statement of the Central Reform Congregation avows community, diversity, and commitment for a vibrant, Jewish presence in their city, St. Louis, Missouri, but specific Jewish issues and Israel are not addressed.  There is concern for a broad swath of social issues, none to address Jewish survival and the ongoing, increasing threat of anti-Semitism by Islam and the socialist/communist Left.  Rather, the congregants reach out to Muslims whose dedication to jihad (religious holy war) threatens Jewish and Christian existence; the Koran dictates jihad for every Muslim and death for every infidel.

Jihad seeks to enforce Sharia worldwide, which includes curtailing our speech (for starters), revising our educational system (strongly underway with history textbooks that whitewash Islam and relegate America, Judaism and Christianity to a few insignificant pages); killing the infidels and harshly treating their own, and much more.  Why does the rabbi deem these  crucial issues so unimportant to the people she purports to represent, and why is there no platform to protect minorities and women from this xenophobic ideology?  The Jews, with their 100% literacy rate and 78% idiocy rate at the ballot box, advocate for their own destruction when they ignore Islamic totalitarianism and its ambition to establish a global caliphate.  Jews are kept so severely uninformed, that they facilitate our transition to a totalitarian regime.

So many Americans are completely heads-in-the-sand unacquainted with the Muslim Brotherhood (MB):

  • its influence in our government – supporting Islamic groups worldwide, including foreign mosque construction;
  • its connection with our overwhelming illegal-immigrant resettlement programs;
  • its support of the Muslim Student Association (MSA) campus rallies (some violent) that harass Jewish students and preach boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) against Israel, the only democracy in the Middle East;
  • the “humanitarian aid” sent to UNRWA, which is diverted to constructing terror tunnels, supplying weaponry to Gaza terrorists, building homes for suicide bombers’ families;
  • the propaganda machine that teaches hate and beheading in Islamic schools, and creates propagandist films of massacres that never happened (as in Gaza and Jenin);
  • financing CAIR (Council of American-Islamic Relations) outreach, deceptive public relations, and providing revised book donations to libraries and schools;
  • the MB cruelty against even their own coreligionists that Egypt has come to recognize and oust, that Norway is expelling, and that Angola has banned;
  • and its seduction of those who have turned from and against their Jewish backgrounds – the Stockholm Syndrome, when victimized Jews turn to caring about others’ rights more than their own, some deliberately supporting their enemy.

Instead of hearing a broad range of respectable speakers, the congregation attendees hear from the highly disreputable J Street, Jewish Voice for Peace, Rabbis for Human Rights, and others supported by George Soros, who, greatly influenced by Nazism, Marxism and globalism, has been perverted to despise his heritage.

The congregation recently hosted Jacob Ari Labendz, who claimed he was robbed of his birthright when Israel “occupied” Arab land, but this is not Arab land!  After a brief comment about loving Jewish traditions, he switched to the deceptive Palestinian narrative – unchallenged!  Jews were the only Palestinians for centuries (the land named by first-century Romans to offend Jews).  When the Jewish state was named Israel, and “Palestine” fell into disuse, Egypt restored the name for the new PLO, which organized the Egyptians, Syrians, Jordan and Iraqis and gave them a hook to the land.

Why was there no mention of unceasing aggressive wars by Muslims? the perpetual pogroms against the Jews since Mohammed’s first onslaught? the centuries of jihad that destroyed about 60 million Christians in the once-Christian Middle East and North Africa? the more than 120 million Christians and animists slaughtered in Africa? Tamarlane’s ferocious army that killed 19 million through Asia, Africa, and Europe, leaving mountains and towers of skulls? the slaughter of 80 million Hindus and 10 million Buddhists?  the 400 million slaughtered over 1400 years, with no end in sight?

To this day, slavery is lawful in Islam for slaves’ descendants and those captured under jihad.  Yet, Labendz maintains that if not for Israel, there would be security and peace.  Through this history of horrors and the Holocaust, there was no sovereign nation of Israel, and he cannot explain the absence of peace.

Rabbi Talve should clarify that League of Nations set a precedent at the San Remo Conference, in 1922, that cannot be overturned.  After World War I and the division of the Ottoman Empire, the League legally gave Israel and surrounding Palestinian territory to the then-14 million Jews throughout the world; Palestine was declared the Jewish “reconstituted homeland,” and the international law today is still binding.  Arabs refused their (larger) portion, expecting to conquer Israel.  Why did she invite a speaker who is evidently unaware of this highly significant arbitration, who seeks to extinguish the only home for the Jewish people, a state that is a mere one-thousandth the size of Islamic land mass?

Perhaps, for Lebendz, it was a youth’s misinterpretation of events of security and defense that blinded him to 14 centuries of Islamo-fascist villainy, or simple treason by a damaged, delusional, intellectually dishonest person.  I deduced that he was traumatized by something he saw but failed to understand, perhaps an IDF soldier confronting an armed terrorist.  Yet, the Holocaust survivors who had been severely traumatized did not devote their lives to revenge and destruction, but built the only parcel of land – barren desert and malarial swamp  – in a mere 67 years into a country that has become a major contributor in the worlds of art and science – enormous accomplishments in medicine and technology, not to mention First Responders’ humanitarian, medical assistance who rush to global natural disasters, setting up mobile hospitals, treating the injured.

Unfortunately, Lebendz also fell prey to Rabbi Michael Lerner, a notorious anti-Israel activist, who works to gather up the purposeless and marginalized – the personality types that might just as readily have been seduced and indoctrinated into a Kool-Aid cult or such as ISIS, had either of these been options. If he were Muslim, he would have become a suicide bomber.

As an aside, British Army Office, Col. Richard Kemp (ret’d), who served in Afghanistan, Iraq, and many other theaters of war, has testified that the IDF is like no other army in the world, confirming the particular care and compassion shown by its forces.  We are justified in adding that Israeli society is like no other society in the Middle East, where the democratic laws apply to all people, regardless of race, religion, national origin, and gender.

The speaker said, “Do not ask Palestinians to be Zionists.”  The Arabs were invited to stay after Israel won its justified, defensive war, but surely no one is held captive in Israel.  Everyone is free to give up his/her citizenship to live elsewhere, to forsake Israeli democracy and enjoy the full extent of Sharia, where a parent is free to kill his daughter for honor, men may stone a woman for an accusation of infidelity, and a young man may learn to decapitate others or detonate himself with explosives.  Yet they do not flee the imposition of democracy and the dearth of oppression, apartheid, persecution, racism.  A recent poll shows that most Arabs living in Israel, including Judea and Samaria, are Zionists by choice, preferring to live under Israeli administration than under the Palestinian Authority.  It is one thing to be an activist and support one’s position with facts and quite another to defend with fabrication!

 

Jacob Ari Labendz believes that he lost his birthright.  Rather, he has surrendered his birthright.  What he has truly lost is his Neshama, his Jewish soul. ☼

Forward to Extinction

Jay Michaelson, contributing editor to the Forward, holds a position of unearned, unwarranted, and undeserved influence.  Although he writes for a Jewish newspaper, he fails to inform his readers that Islam is the enemy of Israel, the Jewish people and, in fact, all of America, and makes judgments that work against their survival.  He would benefit by first reviewing facts:  By unanimous vote in 1922, the League of Nations set a precedent at the San Remo Conference that cannot be overturned or ignored.  After World War I and the division of the Ottoman Empire, the League legally gave Israel and surrounding Palestinian territory to the then-14 million Jews living there and in the Diaspora.  Palestine was declared the Jewish “reconstituted homeland” on April 24, 1920.  The Jews were always referred to as Palestinians during the British Mandate, before which there were never Palestinians or a Palestinian country.

International law was confirmed by the British Mandate, the San Remo Peace Conference and the League of Nations.  Two years later, in 1922, the League of Nations of 51 countries unanimously ratified the British Mandate.  This official documentation stands recognized as legitimate international law today and has never been superseded or replaced and is still binding.

Michaelson is advocating for Israel’s destruction, based on the Islamic Genocide Plan. With only a few key strokes on the keyboard, one can easily bring up a plethora of facts to verify the Islamic plans to annihilate Israel and the West.  A brief selection of quotes from the HAMAS Charter (1988) and infamous Islamists follow:

  • The Charter’s Preamble: “Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it just as it obliterated others before it.”  (Translation: Islam will continue its 1400 years of destruction and death.)
  • Article 11: “The Islamic Resistance Movement believes that the land of Palestine is an Islamic Waqf consecrated for future Muslim generations until Judgment Day.  It, or any part of it, should not be squandered: it, or any part of it, should not be given up.”
  • Article 13: “There is no solution to the Palestinian problem except by jihad.  The initiatives, proposals and International Conferences are but a waste of time, an exercise in futility.”

Radical Islam has become a forum for calls of genocide against the Jews.  Of the many references provided by DiscovertheNetworks, a few samples of the ignoble spewing of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad are:

  • “As the Imam [Ayatollah Khomeini] said, Israel must be wiped off the map.”
  • “… the annihilation of the Zionist regime will come.”
  • “The Islamic umma (community) will not allow its historic enemy [Israel] to live in its heartland.”
  • “There is no doubt that the new wave [of attacks] in Palestine will soon wipe off this disgraceful blot [Israel] from the face of the Islamic world.”
  • “liberating Palestine” would be “a key for solving the world’s problems”; and “anyone who loves freedom and justice must strive for the annihilation of the Zionist regime in order to pave the way for world justice and freedom.”

 Hassan Nasrallah, Leader of Hezbollah, is quoted:

  • “[I]f they [the Jews] all gather in Israel, it will save us the trouble of going after them worldwide.”
  • “Put a knife in your shirt, then get close to an Israeli occupier and stab him.”
  • “Our hostility to the Great Satan [America] is absolute. . . . Regardless of how the world has changed after 11 September, ‘Death to America’ will remain our reverberating and powerful slogan.”
  • “Martyrdom operations — suicide bombings — should be exported outside Palestine. I encourage Palestinians to take suicide bombings worldwide. Don’t be shy about it.”

 Sheikh Yousef Al-Qaradhawi, spiritual guide for the Muslim Brotherhood declared:

  • “There is no dialogue between us [Muslims and Jews] except by the sword and the rifle …”

Hezbollah’s Founding Statement:

  • contains a section that reads: “We see in Israel the vanguard of the United States in our Islamic world. It is the hated enemy that must be fought until the hated ones get what they deserve. . . . Therefore our struggle will end only when this entity is obliterated. We recognize no treaty with it, no cease fire, and no peace agreements, whether separate or consolidated. We vigorously condemn all plans for negotiation with Israel, and regard all negotiators as enemies . . .”

 

And most recently the Times of Israel reported that the commander of the Basij militia of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard said in an interview:

 

Despite the overwhelming evidence, Michelson advocates that the Jews recognize Palestine for Palestinians, but Palestinians need not recognize Israel for the Jews.  He seeks no defined borders because he strives for all Israel to become Palestinian, such as seen on the Palestinian map; (not seen here is one with Hamas flag, terrorist’s kafiyyah, and rifle).  Further, while he states that status quo would lead to permanent “occupation” and “apartheid,” and cautions that the world would not stand by forever, he dares not admit that his recommendation would be Israel’s total annihilation.

Michaelson has vindicated the Palestinians’ rights to turning to the UN, thereby negating their obligations to comply with previous agreements.  How odd that he accepts non-existent Palestinian origin, history, past governments, artifacts, monetary system, and cultural heritage above the Jewish rights to land that has been theirs through Biblical times and International law.  Jews have de jure sovereignty over the entire Land of Israel and Palestine, including Gaza, the Golan, Judea and Samaria (West Bank), all of Jerusalem, and all of Jordan.

He is eager to have Palestinians occupy Israeli land, irrespective of the Balfour Declaration, the Treaty of Sevres, the Mandates, the Council of the League of Nations, U.N. Resolution 181, and Israel’s legal Statehood in 1948, and despite Israel’s winning the Arabs’ aggressive wars against the Jewish state.  Michaelson’s resolve is to reduce Israel until she is no longer able to protect herself against the Islamic scourge that has openly sworn Israel’s obliteration.  He is a turncoat who prefers “two states” because it will further enable Iran’s jihad against Israel and Western civilization.  The Forward, once a newspaper that sustained the assimilation and adjustment of the new Jewish immigrants of the 20th century, has become a vehicle of betrayal of their future generations.

On Dealing with Obama?

Let us assume, to begin with, that Islam influences Obama’s behavior.  For some observers of Islam, this assumption does not flatter Mr. Obama.

For example, Syrian-born psychiatrist Wafa Sultan has said, in a derogatory sense, that Islam is not a civilization.

Dutch parliamentarian Geert Wilders agrees. He denied the existence of a clash of civilizations between Islam and the West because Islam, he says, is not a civilization but a form of barbarism.

Now ponder this. That Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said there is no clash of civilization in the Middle East suggests the possibility that he may harbor a fallacious hence precarious understanding of Islam, one that has induced him to engage in peace negotiations with the Islamic Palestinian Authority for more than two decades, despite the absence of any positive results, to say nothing of the terrible loss of Jewish life.

That Wafa Sultan and Geert Wilders have a more candid – I do not say clearer – understanding of Islam, is confirmed by this report of Dr. Arieh Eldad, an M.D. at Hadassah Hospital in Israel.

I was instrumental in establishing the “Israeli National Skin Bank,” which is the largest in the world. The National Skin Bank stores skin for every day needs as well as for war time or mass casualty situations. This skin bank is hosted at the Hadassah Ein Kerem University hospital in Jerusalem where I was the Chairman of plastic surgery.

This is how I was asked to supply skin for an Arab woman from Gaza, who was hospitalized in Soroka Hospital in Beersheva, after her family burned her. Usually, such atrocities happen among Arab families when the women are suspected of having an affair. We supplied all the needed Homografts for her treatment. She was successfully treated by my friend and colleague, Prof. Lior Rosenberg and discharged to return to Gaza. She was invited for regular follow-up visits to the outpatient clinic in Beersheva.

One day she was caught at a border crossing wearing a suicide belt. She meant to explode herself in the outpatient clinic of the hospital where they saved her life. It seems that her family promised her that if she did that, they would forgive her.

This is only one example of the war between Jews and Muslims in the Land of Israel. It is not a territorial conflict.

Dr. Eldad concluded his report by asking everyone to forward it onwards so that as many as possible will understand radical Islam, that this not merely a territorial conflict. [As Geert Wilders put it, “this is a  war between civilization & barbarism.”]

Now, returning to Obama, the question arises: how does one deal with an individual who has been described as an “empty suit”? Such an individual can hardly be called a real person, since he has no solid identity. He may speak like a human being, but he is just as likely to speak honestly as dishonestly, sensibly as well as foolishly – as when Obama said he was a Muslim and that America was founded by Muslims!

What such an individual says should therefore be taken with a grain of salt. One can’t safely rely on what he says as a basis for policy.  Any conversation with Obama should be as brief and as casual as possible. Also, anything he says should not only be recorded, but also witnessed, if possible, by a third party.  One must never assume that Obama means what he says and says what he means, or that even understands what he says or means – from one day to the next. This is the dilemma in dealing with an “empty suit.”

It follows that Israel must reduce to a minimum her dealings with American officials insofar as such dealings may be intersected by whatever Obama, by chance or by design, may say or do. This means that Israel should regard Obama as a punctuated or virtual enemy.

Ankit Panda: What Really Happened in the Persian Gulf on April 28, 2015?

“Iran’s reasons for seizing the ship were at first unclear. Speculation abounded that the incident was a show of force intended to strike back at the United States after it sent the USS Theodore Roosevelt to intercept an Iranian arms shipment to Yemen’s Houthis last week.” 

That wasn’t an anecdote from Tom Friedman’s next book on globalization–it’s a rough description of what took place on Tuesday, April 28, in the strategically important sea lanes of the Strait of Hormuz.

Warning Signs: Israel Will Attack Iran Soon


I also agree the Israel will have to so what Obama never will he supports Iran every time he gets a chance.

While checking out some of the headlines from my former blog’s links, I found an important article written by Alan Caruba at his blog Warning Signs. Found the article via Noisy Room.

I have thought for some time now that Israel will eventually be the nation that will need to take out the nuclear reactors in Iran. Our current resident at the White House (and his boss – Valerie Jarrett) will need to “save face” and claim that a deal (no matter how awful it will probably be!) has been made with the taqiyya Mullahs of that Islamic terrorist regime; leaving the entire world vulnerable to the Islamist fanatics!

When I read Alan’s name, it sounded familiar to me. Years ago, I think that he may have been a friend on Facebook. Since I don’t venture into that social media realm anymore, I’m glad that I found his blog!

Large-scale Egyptian army massed for operation to capture eastern Libya from ISIS

The Middle East is on the brink of its fourth war (after Syria, Iraq and Yemen). debkafile’s military and intelligence sources report that Egypt is massing large-scale ground and air forces in the Western Desert along the Libyan border, in preparation for a military campaign to capture eastern Libya – Cyrenaica – from the Islamist State of Syria and Iraq – ISIS – occupation.

The substantial naval and marine forces assembling at Egypt’s Mediterranean ports indicate the possible launching of the offensive by dropping Egyptian marines on the Libyan coast around Derna (pop: 100,000), which ISIS has made its provincial capital. They may be accompanied by simultaneous landings of paratroops from the air. For President Abdel-Fatteh El-Sisi, ISIS’s presence in eastern Libya (as well as Sinai) poses an unacceptable peril to his country. He has been warned in a number of intelligence reports that the Islamic State’s terrorists have already penetrated some Egyptian towns and even infiltrated certain army units. To counter the Egyptian plan of campaign, ISIS is rushing reinforcements to eastern Libya from Syria and Iraq. From Syria, they are traveling by air or sea through the Mediterranean; from Iraq, through the Sinai Peninsula, whence oil and drug rings smuggle them across the Suez Canal and Egypt.
debkafile’s sources reveal that Egypt’s projected invasion of Libya was high on the agenda of American CIA Director John Brennan’s unannounced visit to Cairo on April 19 for a meeting with the president. In reply to his visitor’s demand for precise information on Egypt’s Libyan campaign. President El-Sisi offered an assurance that he had no intention of keeping the Egyptian army in Libya. He would pull the troops out after defeating and disarming the jihadis and hand power to the Libyan government, which has established its seat in the eastern town of Tobruk near the Egyptian border and home to Libyan military bases and oil terminals. The Tobruk government was set up by Libyan members of parliament who fled the capital Tripoli when it was overrun by a group of extremist Islamist militias, known as the Libyan Dawn, which included elements associated with Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb – AQIM. The head of the this government is Abdullah al-Thinni, who is recognized by the United States and most Western governments as the legitimate prime minister of Libya.
President El-Sisi was not surprised to hear from the CIA director that the Obama administration objects to a direct Egyptian invasion of Libya, but would not oppose Cairo acting through local Libyan militias. Brennan put forward the name of Gen. Khalifa Hifter, a Libyan-American, who set up a militia in the eastern Libyan town of Benghazi to fight the Islamists, aided by Libyan army units based in the region. On March 2, Prime Minister al-Thinni and the Tobruk parliament appointed Gen. Hifter commander-in-chief of the Libyan army, promoting him to the rank of lieutenant general. He was entrusted with two missions: To liberate Libya from the clutches of the Islamic militias and to rebuild the national army. debkafile’s military sources disclose that, for the past six months, the Egyptian president has given Hifter his support and even supplied him with weapons. But he does not see him as a sufficiently powerful and emblematic figure to unify the Libyan nation. Brennan leaned hard on the Egyptian president to follow Washington’s line, but El-Sisi refused. Their differences on the Libyan campaign were reflected by omission in the joint communiqué they issued after their conversation: After discussing “regional issues, terrorism and ways of enhancing bilateral relations, the two sides agreed to continue consultation and coordination on issues of mutual interest.”
Interestingly, Egypt is ready to throw ground, sea and air forces into its offensive in Libya, while at the same time abstaining from deploying air or ground power in the Yemeni conflict, although it is a member of the Saudi-led coalition fighting Iran-backed rebels. Egypt is already fighting the Islamic State’s branch in Sinai. It is now gearing up to tackle the Islamist peril on its western border.

The Media and Jihad


Every time that there is a major jihad attack, the media responds in the same way. There is now a routine that the authorities tell us:

  • Islam is the religion of peace
  • Muslims that do jihad are extremists and not real Muslims
  • Authorities must watch out for retaliation against Muslims
  • All religions are the same. The Christians are as bad or worse
  • We have not done enough to welcome Islam
  • Concessions will reduce jihad; we need to give Islam more concessions.
