Once New Jersey had a real Governor

Limitations on federal and state governments are apparently, by his own admission, beyond the pay grade of New Jersey’s current governor

Phil Murphy, William LivingstonCurrent New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy probably wishes he’d not made a statement during an interview with FOX’s Tucker Carlson, after it went big-league viral.

It happened at about the 9:54 mark in the YouTube video of the Carlson-Murphy interview.

Carlson was pressing Murphy for an explanation of why a man sitting alone in a park, on a bench, was arrested.

Carlson asked—upon what basis in “science” does that limit the spread of the Coronavirus?

The Governor didn’t have an answer. Murphy diverted to the need to limit big gatherings of people at parks. A clumsy dodge.

Carlson moved on to the arrest of several congregants in a Synagogue, and asked why that arrest wasn’t a violation of their rights under the Bill of Rights.  The Governor ducked and weaved.

Then came the Tucker question that made New Jersey’s Governor a media celebrity, second only to the late Tony Soprano. Carlson asked,

By what authority did you nullify the Bill of Rights? How do you have the power to do that?”

The Governor of New Jersey answered, while smiling for the first time in the interview:

“That’s above my pay grade, Tucker. So, I, I wasn’t thinking of the Bill of Rights when we did this.” The rest of his response doesn’t matter.  Just more blah, blah, blah.

Tyrants, and potential tyrants, often surface in the midst of a real, or perceived crisis.  Their goal is always about control.

That hasn’t always been true of New Jersey Governors. Take the state’s first governor, for example.

William Livingston (November 30, 1723 – July 25, 1790) was New Jersey’s first governor. He’s pictured above right.

He married Susanne French in 1745 and they had 13 children. Two died very young.

One of his surviving daughters married John Jay (December 23, 1745 – May 17, 1829). Jay became one of the three authors of the Federalist Papers; one of the founders of the United States as a negotiator and signatory of the Treaty of Paris; the second governor of New York; and the first Chief Justice of the United States.

When New Jersey began to organize its defense in late 1775, Livingston, at age 52, became the state militia’s ranking officer as a brigadier general.  Because of his age and lack of field experience, he volunteered to train much younger soldiers, rather than lead them in battle.

Later, he left his seat in the Continental Congress and did enter field service with the New Jersey militia in their effort to guard the state’s northern shore.

In August 1776, he resigned his commission and became the first governor elected under the new state constitution.

In his inaugural speech, Livingston called on New Jersey citizens to show “a spirit of economy, industry and patriotism, and that public integrity and righteousness that cannot fail to exalt a nation, setting our faces like flint against that dissoluteness of manner and political corruptness that will ever be a reproach to any people.”

In 1787, he led the New Jersey delegation to the Constitutional Convention at Philadelphia.

Among the Signatories of the Constitution that emerged from that convention were four New Jersey delegates. The list included William Livingston.

December 18, 1787, New Jersey ratified the Constitution with 38 votes for, 0 against. Only Delaware and Georgia had 0 no votes.

On May 29, 1790, the U.S. Constitution was ratified.

Livingston died two months later.

On December 15, 1791, the Bill of Rights, as the first 10 amendments to the U.S. Constitution, were adopted as a collection of mutually reinforcing guarantees of individual rights and of limitations on federal and state governments.

Limitations on federal and state governments are apparently, by his own admission, beyond the pay grade of New Jersey’s current governor (above left).

The “CHI-COM GOV” Virus

Telling the Chinese Communist government that “Enough is Enough” and backing it up financially!

Stan McHugh image

Re-Posted from the Canada Free Press By  —— Bio and ArchivesApril 18, 2020

The CHI-COM GOV VirusCorona virus,COVID—19, etc. are the names that we have been using for the very dangerous virus that is currently affecting, and infecting, a very large portion of the world. If what the news has been reporting is correct, this virus was initially detected in Wuhan, China where it was attributed to a meat market that sold a wide variety of animals as food for people. There, or so we are told, the virus “crossed over” from animal to human infection. We have since also learned of the existence of a virology laboratory located in Wuhan that could have been conducting experiments with this virus and that it was possible that the virus somehow may have accidentally escaped from that lab.

Wherever it originated, the first person that China claims to have contracted the virus was in Wuhan, China in the month of November of 2019. In the five  plus months since then it has spread, literally, worldwide. Whatever the original source of this virus, what happened after the virus started infecting humans in China, provides a clear example of how China’s Communist government became a great danger to the entire world and needs to be exposed for what they did, and did not do.

Just like in all Communist dictatorships, in China the local officials have the same initial reaction to any potential crisis which is to attempt to hide the problem; not to fix it, but to hide it. It is the learned response for such officials to protect themselves from those around and above them in their own government. Like all Communist systems, China’s is totally about those in power maintaining and increasing their power which means not “getting blamed” for something that went wrong. For those at almost all levels of authority it becomes far more important to “dodge the blame” than it is to make an effort to correct or minimize problems.

Given the outcome, it is clear that the virus spread rapidly in Wuhan and it appears that for the first several weeks, little, if anything was done to attempt to control it. Instead it appears that while the virus was still a local problem, that official efforts instead, were focused on attempting to hide the virus’s existence. One likely result of that delay has been that what might have been stopped as a local problem has quickly become a serious and potentially deadly threat to the entire world.

It is the author’s hope that the world will unite in placing the blame for this epidemic and the incredible personal and economic damage that it is causing directly on the Chinese Communist Government where it, indeed, belongs. That organization needs to be made aware that the world finds them fully responsible for what their initial hesitation to act has caused and is causing.

One method of doing this would be to start referring to the virus, not asCOVID-19 or the “Chinese Virus” and refer to it as the “Chinese Communist Government Virus” or the “Chi Com Gov Virus”. If enough people throughout the world would use one of those names or something similar it would tell the Chinese Communist Government that their continued lying is not working and that there are going to be consequences.

What consequences, short of war, can the world place on China that could exert sufficient pressure to force that government to change? There is one thing that the people of the world can and should do and that is simply to turn off the money. Stop buying Chinese! China’s economy is extremely dependent on their exports, particularly the export of manufactured goods or components thereof. The very low wages the Chinese government pays their workers makes it more economical for many companies in the US and around the world to have the products that they market manufactured in whole or in part in China.

Importing from China needs to be drastically reduced in order to put the Chinese government on notice that the world will no longer tolerate their behavior. One very good way to send this message would be if all of us throughout the world would simply stop buying things made in China. Any time a “Made in China” label appears on anything, if at all possible, DO NOT BUY IT and tell the retailer why. This would make a clear statement that the world’s peoplerather than the world’s governments were telling the Chinese Communist government that “Enough is Enough” and backing it up financially!

Pity the Democrat voters

Pity the Democrat votersHave pity on all those Democrat voters who played by the rules.  They watched Sanders get kicked to the curb in 2016, but thought it would never happen again.  They will soon see, after the Iowa fiasco and all the crooked caucuses and primaries, that all their work and votes for Biden will get thrown down the toilet or into the burn bag and get destroyed—real soon.

The cognoscenti who rule the party will shortly find a new standard bearer to replace poor old Joe Biden

The cognoscenti who rule the party will shortly find a new standard bearer to replace poor old Joe Biden, if Joe’s fits of rambling nonsense on TV are any indicator of his readiness to meet a fired up President Donald Trump in a no holds barred debate setting.  Sadly, throwing away all the votes of those they courted for years at the last minute and going full totalitarian is the way that 46% of our nation, the Democrats, in the greatest republic in the history of the world, selects their front runner.  They make damn sure that the voters on the left are never given a chance to pick their White House slate.  It’s always done in the back room.

Sure, the Democrat political crowd has tent shows, caucuses, picnics, luaus, fund raisers offering signed photos of Smiling Chuck and Frowning Nancy, Punch and Judy programs, magic shows, liar’s poker with 10,000 dollar bills, speechifying with promises that the rich will be made poor and the poor will be made rich by the hidden hands of a beneficent government while palm readers under a red lit tent predict a rosy future for those voting Democrat. This hokum is just what they do in other places around the globe.  You know, like Russia, where every vote is always for Putin, and in Ethiopia, where the current WHO Director-General, the good Dr. Ted Adhanom-Ghebreyesus, earned his spurs by doing and saying whatever China wanted and gained his position thanks to votes “purchased’ by China through their “investments” in Africa.

Biden was as frozen as his mask of Botox®

Some processes, like the Iowa caucus and its associated madcap computer glitches, rendered an already arcane system nearly indecipherable.  Of course, Iowa had at least one Democrat candidate who purchased the same operating system as the DNC which, according to unaffiliated programming geniuses, enabled that great anti-Trump elucidator and erstwhile South Bend mayor, “Big Tiny Little” Pete Buttigieg, to announce that he had run the table in the Iowa folderol before the caucuses had finally sputtered to a stop.  As of today, April 18th, a wag from Coon Rapids has reported that some 34% of the Iowa precincts have yet to report.  The same ‘Shadow’ smartphone app used by the DNC cost Mayor Pete $10K less than what the DNC paid, according to the operatives.

Off to an exceedingly shaky start, when that great prevaricator, Sen. Kamala Harris, caught “Tio Pepe” Biden, as Sleepy Joe is known among the immigrant pals of Robert F. “Beto” O’Rourke, Pepe’s already named assault rifle tsar,  and tone deaf to busing and with no chance to make amends by sniffing her coiffure, Biden was as frozen as his mask of Botox®.

Joe then swiftly back pedaled to his patented “deer in the headlights” look, which is an artifact of his propensity for those Botox® injections before he switched over to major facial reconstructive surgery, including brow lifts, behind the ear tucks and eyelid surgery, replete with scarring, which came with mixed results, according Dr. Anil Shah, MD FACP.  All of the foregoing requires Old Sleepy Joe to pull both his ears back to be able to both see long distance and to hear mid- and high frequencies.  What a caper.

But there’s something else wrong with Joe Biden

But there’s something else wrong with Joe Biden.  He disappeared for awhile, he can’t read a teleprompter, he’s got some criminal “women’s issues” which he and his shrinking staff vehemently deny and will do so in court, and he has some sort of creeping dementia or senility, which cannot be overlooked.  Statements like these are floating out there in the aether which give pause – “We have to take care of the cure. That will make the problem worse no matter what — no matter what.”  “I’m looking forward to appointing the first African American woman to the United States Senate.”  Or, “My name is Joe Biden. I’m a Democratic candidate for the United States Senate.  Look me over, if you like what you see, help out.  If not, vote for the other Biden.”

“Oooh, no, the dirty little people who actually showed up and voted, picked a goofball… Joe Biden.  We didn’t think that it was so bad,” limn the Soros/Clinton/Pelosi/Sharpton/Warren/Obama cabal deep within their isolated and hermetically sealed bunker complex where their teletypes to the NY Times and WaPo are plugged in and where Hillary can dictate the perfectly dismal economic news the cognoscenti demand over the phone directly to the Times’ chief cheap scrivener, Paul Krugman.

“We’ll have to lasso a total boob from outside the voting booth,” they cry in unison, an honest and forthright man, a real mensch, another Abe Beame.  “Why, yes, the uniquely Honorable Andy Cuomo of New York will fit the bill, the mourning suit and Trump’s Oval Office chair if we can find a short ladder for him climb up there and a sturdy pillow for Andy to sit on,” they all said.

Cuomo’s demonstrated his anti-capitalism, anti-Christian, anti-Trump, anti-gun, anti-cop, anti-periodic table

Yep, Cuomo’s demonstrated his anti-capitalism, anti-Christian, anti-Trump, anti-gun, anti-cop, anti-periodic table of the elements, anti-American views for all to see on TV.  Plus that nincompoop of a nutter brother of Andy’s over at CNN, er, Chris, would make a perfect front-man to lie in front of the sycophants, petty satraps and cheerleaders in the media from the White House as Press Secretary and lap dog.

All in all, we must pity the Democrats who actually voted for Joe Biden.  We knew it was a mug’s game from the get go. Some of them probably did, too.  But, like The Six Hundred, with less effect, they rode into Democrat valley of the shadow of doubts and still voted.

All that work for nothing
Iowa precincts have yet to report
The dirty little people who voted picked a goofball
Time to lasso a boob

Pelosi’s Ice Cream Treats to Unemployed Workers and Small Business Owners

“….Until They Run Out,” She Says

Pelosi's Ice Cream Treats to Unemployed Workers and Small Business Owners—Satire

“It came to me during the Late Late Show with James Corden,” Pelosi told Ace Reporter Hugh Betcha, “that I must do something for the poor people of the country and the struggling small business owners—we are all in this together.”

Managing to struggle through this period of self-imposed isolation and dutifully following the President’s directive to hunker down and practice social distancing, Pelosi continued speaking to Hugh through the two-way intercom attached to the ten foot wall of her mansion in San Francisco.

“I am so blessed to have a freezer full of ice cream bars, chocolates, and other treats that I rely on to see me through this difficult time holed up in our home that I just felt compelled to share my good fortune with the little people of America. You know, the street people who live outside my gates and the small business owners who are losing their businesses and wonder where their next Dove Bar is coming from.”

“What moved you to perform such a magnanimous gesture?’ Hugh inquired.

“Well, I got to thinking that since I gave a little treat to the Kennedy Center for the performing arts it is only fair that we give a little to the homeless and those who are losing their businesses. This is my contribution to the country I guess you would say,” she smiled.

“So, you are giving another $25 million to the little people or what? Hugh asked.

“Oh no,” she replied, “we must have our priorities.”

“So what then do you intend?” Hugh asked.

Grinning proudly, Pelosi replied: “I have decided to distribute my entire stash of Dove Bars, ice cream cones, chocolate bars and other frozen confections to the needy street people and out of work small business owners, outside my wall, at a time to be announced later. If you knew just how much I love ice cream you would appreciate what a magnificent gesture this is.”

“Wow,” Hugh replied, “that is certainly something. How long do you intend to give out these treats?”

“Oh this is just first come, first served. When the freezer is emptied it is over,” she replied.  “Like the SBA paycheck protection funds which I am not renewing, when they’re gone, they’re gone.

Apple Comes out with Cheap Phone to Help Government Track You

Creating apps to track everyone is where Gates’ microchip insertions into our body come into play. Apple has announced the second generation of its cheaper iPhone SE as it tries to accommodate the new total surveillance post-coronavirus age of authoritarianism. Its new iPhone SE starts at $399, making it $50 cheaper than the previously most affordable model, the iPhone 8.

This new device may be only a 4.7-inch screen, but it will be a retina screen as in Minority Report. It will also have a touch ID, one 12-megapixel camera, and an A13 bionic chip as used in the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro. The device is the cheapest mobile phone ever developed from Apple to accommodate the need to track people for governments.

Canada Proposing to Imprison anyone who Argues Against the Government & Bill Gates?

Canada is showing just how ruthless the left can be. They are proposing to create criminal/civil prosecutions against anyone who disagrees with the government and Bill Gates. If you dare question the lockdown, they will throw you in prison? The left always turns Stalinistic. No matter what country, the left will always attack dissent and suppress all liberty and freedom along with human rights. They intend to classify “misinformation” as anything that disagrees with their political position.

Once upon a time, people risked their lives to flee Europe and seek freedom in the New World. That was a freedom of religion, political, and the right to own your own land wherein Britain it was long-lease. The tyranny which the Europeans fled has reemerged in what was to be the New World. The problem we now have is very clear – there is no other place to flee. Mars is not quite ready and even there the left will rear its head and seek to suppress those for its own personal gain. The left will never be satisfied for they are always seeking to take from others to make their own lives better. The only difference between a thief and the left is the control of the government to oppress others.

Creating the New War That will Justify the Confiscation of American Assets in China

In Europe, the EU has used this coronavirus to justify nationalizing companies if the Chinese try to invest in any. In the United States, Congress wants to enact legislation to let Americans sue China over coronavirus damages. What is astonishing about this is that it has been established law that no American can sue the government with the government’s permission. Just last year, the Supreme Court which previously held that where one state could be sued in another back in 1979 in Nevada v. Hall, they have now overruled that decision holding that states have sovereign immunity in Franchise Tax Board of California v. Hyatt. The court wrote that the Hall court misinterpreted the framers’ intention that states should retain their immunity from lawsuits at the founding of the Constitution. If an American cannot sue a state or the federal government unless it expressly waives its sovereign immunity. I FAIL to understand how Congress can possibly waive the sovereign immunity of China. This is inviting war because someone will sue China, the decision will be political without proof, and then a judgment would be entered against the assets in the United States. This will ONLY invite China to start confiscating American assets in China. If you wanted to know how hard the West is going to fall, you now have the answer.

This is a political BRAIN DEAD decision. How about a real special prosecutor to investigate the connections right here in the West that created the lockdown which China did not inflict upon the West. That might reveal some facts nobody wants to deal with. Americans should be able to sue their local states for damages because they violated the Constitution and the Commerce Clause. How about a class-action lawsuit to open that door? I am sure they will raise sovereign immunity

World Health Organization Demanded Sweden Lock Down To Cover Its Own Fraud

The New York Times and others are out in full force to defend Bill Gates, their savior of the world. They distort everything and try to pretend he is this wonderful man who only has our best interests at heart. They also refuse to address how the World Health Organization has carried out the greatest fraud perhaps in modern history and the links of the United Nations to the drive for Climate Change also go back to Bill Gates.

The press refuses to expose the World Health Organization (WHO) which called for Sweden to take more action, telling CNN that it is “imperative” that Sweden “increase measures to control spread of the virus, prepare and increase capacity of the health system to cope, ensure physical distancing and communicate the why and how of all measures to the population.”

Note that the entire theory for the lockdown was that they agreed with Neil Ferguson of Imperial College, also a target for donations from the Gates Foundation, that 2 million Americans would die and we would not have enough bed space to accommodate the people. The argument of Gates and the WHO was there would not be enough bed space to accommodate everyone ill so that meant we had to shut the economy down (bringing CO2 to zero) and destroy jobs to reduce the need for bed space. There are soup kitchens appearing in places like Thailand for people have been pushed to the brink of starvation by Gates & the WHO losing jobs in third world economies.

Trump sent in the Army Core of Engineers and they constructed the proposed bed space which was never filled up. He even sent Navy hospital ships to New York which were not used. He sent so many respirators that now they are offering them to other states. None of the forecasts of Gates, his slew of funded organizations have every proven correct. The New York Times and the rest of the socialist media will never raise that point – EVER!

Why is the New York Times, Washington Post, and the rest of the left media so intent upon destroying our liberty? This is a real mystery. Do these journalists even understand the world they are supporting that we should live in will destroy the freedom of their own children? Perhaps they are just climate change fanatics and hate children to save the planet. It makes no sense. How about just reporting the facts for once? I supposed what’s next – Bill Gates for President?

The WHO has tried to ignore Sweden where they did not lockdown everyone and the death rate was no worse than any other country and in fact. Sweden stands as a testament that this has been the greatest scam of all time which has used a virus to achieve the very same goals as Climate Change. The Gates Foundation has donated at least $1.5 billion to WHO. Why do American taxpayers need to hand them more money when Gates says jump and they ask how high? Gate’s number one favorite donation is Gavi, The Vaccine Alliance.

UNDER NO CONDITIONS should President Trump resume any support for WHO. All health organizations that want to pretend to be unbiased governmental agencies MUST stop taking private donations. That includes the CDC, NIH, and the WHO. Any university that accepts donations from the Gates Foundation should be PROHIBITED from providing any such studies whatsoever given (i.e. Ferguson) that they have ALL been wrong concerning this staged viral Plandemic (a more realistic term for what they have done). (see also Business Insider regarding WHO’s demands against Sweden)

Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue Announces $19 Billion U.S. Farm Aid Relief Package…

In the background of lessons being learned from the COVID-19 pandemic, stay tuned for a new MAGA-minded small farm program in the agricultural industry similar in construct to how President Trump and Secretary Mnuchin created the parallel banking system using community banks and credit unions.  Domestic food security is national security.

Today President Trump and Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue revealed a $19 billion U.S. farm relief program which includes the Dept. of Agriculture purchasing $3 billion in farm products from the fresh supply chain to support those impacted by the collapse of the restaurant, hotel, school and cafeteria demand (food away from home).   WATCH:

.

If you’ve been following our outlines on the food supply-chain issues, you’ll be well aware of what is causing the current farm crisis. {Go Deep} Secretary Perdue is stepping in to mitigate that impact and provide relief to farmers severely impacted by the supply chain disruption.

(Washington, D.C., April 17, 2020) – U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue today announced the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP). This new U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) program will take several actions to assist farmers, ranchers, and consumers in response to the COVID-19 national emergency. President Trump directed USDA to craft this $19 billion immediate relief program to provide critical support to our farmers and ranchers, maintain the integrity of our food supply chain, and ensure every American continues to receive and have access to the food they need.

“During this time of national crisis, President Trump and USDA are standing with our farmers, ranchers, and all citizens to make sure they are taken care of,” Secretary Perdue said. “The American food supply chain had to adapt, and it remains safe, secure, and strong, and we all know that starts with America’s farmers and ranchers. This program will not only provide immediate relief for our farmers and ranchers, but it will also allow for the purchase and distribution of our agricultural abundance to help our fellow Americans in need.”

CFAP will use the funding and authorities provided in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES), the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA), and other USDA existing authorities. The program includes two major elements to achieve these goals.

  1. Direct Support to Farmers and Ranchers: The program will provide $16 billion in direct support based on actual losses for agricultural producers where prices and market supply chains have been impacted and will assist producers with additional adjustment and marketing costs resulting from lost demand and short-term oversupply for the 2020 marketing year caused by COVID-19.
  2. USDA Purchase and Distribution: USDA will partner with regional and local distributors, whose workforce has been significantly impacted by the closure of many restaurants, hotels, and other food service entities, to purchase $3 billion in fresh produce, dairy, and meat. We will begin with the procurement of an estimated $100 million per month in fresh fruits and vegetables, $100 million per month in a variety of dairy products, and $100 million per month in meat products. The distributors and wholesalers will then provide a pre-approved box of fresh produce, dairy, and meat products to food banks, community and faith based organizations, and other non-profits serving Americans in need.

On top of these targeted programs USDA will utilize other available funding sources to purchase and distribute food to those in need.

  • USDA has up to an additional $873.3 million available in Section 32 funding to purchase a variety of agricultural products for distribution to food banks. The use of these funds will be determined by industry requests, USDA agricultural market analysis, and food bank needs.
  • The FFCRA and CARES Act provided an at least $850 million for food bank administrative costs and USDA food purchases, of which a minimum of $600 million will be designated for food purchases. The use of these funds will be determined by food bank need and product availability.

Further details regarding eligibility, rates, and other implementation will be released at a later date. (Link)

Washington State Directorate Jay Inslee: “The president is fomenting domestic rebellion”…

Some language, some very specific wording, has a very specific meaning in the United States of America.  One of those words is “rebellion”; and it carries a deeper meaning to a nation of American citizens born into the idea of individual rights, liberty and freedom.

All of the various restrictions coming from state governors in response to the COVID-19 do not come from State House and/or State Senate decisions.  These are not laws.

The rules restricting liberty, in response to the crisis, have been pronounced without any representative voice supporting them.  All of the rules are arbitrary, and many of these rules will be challenged in court.

However, until those court challenges take place, the only option for a redress of  grievance comes in the form of public protest.  Currently, there is no way for an citizen to appeal to a representative voice against the decrees from a state governor; other than a public protest…. This is a critical point; because non-representative government was the origination of the first great American rebellion against dictates from King George III.

Rebellion against unilateral and authoritarian power is America.  Rebellion or push-back against non-representative government is the thread that connects the varying patchwork of our constitutional republic.   Protest is so critical to our nation that it is protected within the very first amendment to our constitution.

This is the background where the comments today from Washington State Governor Jay Inslee should be considered when he says: “”The president is fomenting domestic rebellion.”

Governor Inslee is saying that any form of protest against his unilateral authority; against his self-defined power and unrepresented decree; is an act of “domestic rebellion.”

When people show you who they are, believe them.

What type of ideology exists in the heart of a man who would declare that any form of protest against him is a form of “domestic rebellion?”

Pay attention.

Freedom is a tenuous proposition.  Cherish it, and fight anyone who would arbitrarily remove it.  There are more of us than them.

Yours as a faithful American rebel,

~ Sundance
