NEC Director Larry Kudlow on Point…

National Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow appears on Fox News with Maria Bartiromo to discuss the critical decisions to balance health risks for Americans with the need to keep the U.S. economy primed to reignite.

The Treasury Department has stood up a system inside the Small Business Administration that cuts through much of the bureaucracy. By using FDIC lenders (local banks) as the point of contact for small businesses and S-corps Treasury can backstop the process.

The local business (or S-corp) takes their payroll and yearly expense documents to their local bank where they already have a relationship. As long as the bank is in the FDIC network; and because the emergency funds are distributed based on a good faith relationship; the bank gives the business or individual immediate access to funds; the bank deposits in the business account. The FDIC guarantees the lender against any risk.

If the business does not continue payroll for the employees, the funds are considered a loan that must be repaid. However, if the business retains their employees (continues to keep current payroll); or -if needed- rehires any recent lay-offs using the funds provided; then the emergency loan becomes a grant the business will not have to repay. The system should be in place by this Friday.

The process is smart and can benefit the majority of Americans.  What Trump/Mnuchin has put into place is an incentive, a no cost way, for employers to continue paying their employees instead of the employees using unemployment compensation.

Companies with 0 to 500 employees can access the Treasury funds through their local bank or credit union (FDIC Lender).  As long as the company retains their employees, meaning continues to pay them, the loans do not have to be repaid.

This means small business employees get: (1) paid by their employer through July; and additionally, (2) those same employees are getting the coronavirus relief checks from the direct government assistance package [$1,200 per individual ($75k income) /$2,400 per couple ($150k income) plus $500 per child].  This should mitigate a great deal of financial hardship on U.S. workers.

Using the existing FDIC network to backstop and eliminate lender risk was a smart move and will speed up the process.

New York Mayor Bill deBlasio Announces Immediate Government Suspension of First Amendment…

New York Mayor Bill deBlasio is officially attempting to establish himself as the United States first totalitarian dictator by announcing a revocation of all New York City citizen rights under the first amendment.   A stunning move.

“[Government] shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

In a stunning announcement Mayor deBlasio threatens that all religious services will be forcibly closed by city authorities “permanently” if they do not comply with the established dictates of city government. WATCH:

.

Let us be clear, the government can request, suggest and recommend that faith-based assemblies suspend their services; and in many cases those churches and religious groups may indeed choose to suspend their services. However, under no circumstance, including: war, famine or virus pandemics that could leave only a hand-full of people alive, can the government force the suspension; or punish those who refuse to comply.

Religious worship, including the assembly therein, is enshrined within the first amendment as it carries the first and ultimate essential service. There is absolutely no situation where that right can be removed.

Obviously de Blasio is surrounded by far-left sycophants and members of the totalitarian state. However, there is no legal adviser who would ever inform an official, any official, that they carry the power to supersede the preeminent constitutional right of their citizens.

Worse still is the use of the word “permanently” when de Blasio announces his unconstitutional suspension of rights. The mayor threatens to permanently close buildings?  What kind of mindset would even fathom forcing the permanent closure of houses of worship because they defy unconstitutional dictates from the state?

This decree by the New York mayor should alarm everyone.

Accept the removal of the primary right of U.S. citizens and there is no longer a country for coronavirus to infect.  This is not a slippery slope; this is akin to voluntarily jumping directly into the abyss….

Treasury Secretary Mnuchin -vs- The Always Insufferable Chris Wallace – The Coronavirus Relief Package…

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin appears on Fox News to discuss the latest developments in the battle against COVID-19 and how the coronavirus economic relief package will roll out. Unfortunately the always insufferable Wallace wants to waste time discussing the politics of the administration effort and not communicate important details to American businesses/individuals about what financial relief efforts are available.

Smartly Secretary Mnuchin outlines the process. The Treasury Department has stood up a system inside the Small Business Administration that cuts through much of the bureaucracy. By using FDIC lenders (local banks) as the point of contact for small businesses and S-corps Treasury can backstop the process. [SEE BELOW]

Sunday Talks: Dr. Anthony Fauci -vs- Jake Tapper…

Dr. Anthony Fauci and CNN’s Jake Tapper (appearing from a bunker) discuss why President Trump opted to not impose a quarantine on parts of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut after “very intensive discussions” at the White House.

In the past ten days Dr. Fauci has significantly scaled back his media appearances, as most networks reduced their staff of hair and makeup artists.

Sunday Talks: Dr. Deborah Birx -vs- Chuck Todd

White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator, Dr. Deborah Birx, appears on Meet the Press to discuss next steps with Chuck Todd. Recently the media has become very angry at Dr. Birx because she has not been anti-Trump enough, and the resistance members are unhappy with her. If Dr. Birx does not tread carefully she could be identified soon as a Russian asset.

Condescending Chuck Todd explains to Dr. Birx that his knowledge and political experience gives him keen insight into the world of virus mitigation; and that makes his status superior to the doctor.

Big Government claims to care about its subjects (We The People). This is obviously false.

If government cared about is, it wouldn’t have allowed the creation of the Federal Reserve and the IRS to steal the fruits of our labor. They wouldn’t allow poisonous GMOs into our food supply. It wouldn’t send young people to fight and die in pointless, endless wars based on lies. It wouldn’t allow babies and toddlers to be brutalized with an ever-growing and already long list of poisonous vaccinations that cause autism. It wouldn’t eagerly strip away our freedoms with each and every crisis.

The coronavirus is the latest crisis and big government and the Fake News media are having a grand old time fanning the flames of fear.

Our freedom of assembly is gone. POOF! Our freedom of speech when it comes to the virus is limited. Only the corrupt CDC and even more corrupt WHO are supposed to have the say and have control of the data. We are repeatedly told not to listen to anyone else!

We The People had better darn well shut up and do as we’re told! Lives are at stake! You don’t want anyone to die, do you? Of course you don’t! Therefore, you WILL stay in your home and watch the fear porn channels each day. Start begging for still yet another government safety net. Demand that government receives more power and authority! Demand martial law and the mobilization of the troops! Demand Bill Gates release his vaccine antidote—you know, the one that comes with a handy-dandy microchip that can be scanned at government checkpoints to make sure you got your shot.

We need to be safe!

Shut down the economy and cause countless millions to lose their jobs! No worries, we will all get a pittance from our generous government. Becoming dependent on handouts from our virtuous and incorruptible government masters is a wonderful solution! To hell with self-reliance. We had all better do what we’re told, too…because the government can take it away if we don’t fall in line and march lockstep according to their dictates.

I’m being facetious of course.

In reality it all makes me sick how easy it was for government to remove not only our freedom, but our livelihoods as well. We are no longer the home of the brave. We’re the land of the fearful.

COVID-19 There Is Much We Do Not Know

You must also be aware that the potential for many of these uprisings will have been well planned, funded and orchestrated, with very few initially spontaneous

There Is Much We Do Not KnowBut, the timely question that must be asked is, how will all the liberal-governments, with their propaganda-driven-media, now gingerly back away from their self-generated hysteria, along with their de facto Martial Law—before it is too late?

In an earlier piece, I used the term ‘exploitation’ for when the liberal state and local governments thought they found a silver-lining in the COVID-19 crisis as another opportunity to take down their abhorred Orange Man. These same politicians are being courted by doctors who, for a by-line-of-importance, will say, “…this is now worse than 9/11…” or “…we have so many bodies that we have been forced to store them in refrigeration trailers.” They will swim along in unison with the mainstream just to be a part of it.

And, all we need to confirm our suspicions can be found in a simple follow up probe of their long-line-of-medical and media experts, would be something like, “Do you agree that Trump is doing a pretty-good-job under the circumstance or do you feel he is creating hysteria and should be removed from office?

And therein lies the major roadblock into opening the schools and getting us back to work. Our local liberal governments are so blinded in their decision-making-process to admit that their TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) has them locked into their self-generated-hysteria.

Beware of the many unfounded rumors for, if there is little to no truth to what I post here, then why would a group of twelve politically-unaffiliated-world-renowned-specialists, jeopardize their good names in their field of expertise, as they are literally screaming out for more rational voices to be heard. For brevity, only three (3) are listed herein, one of whom is stating that much of our local governments response is a “fiasco in the making”,  where there is a greater need for scientifically-proven-facts which must be integrated into their political decisions:   [Others quoted here: 12 Experts Question The COVID-19 Panic/]

“All these [political] measures are leading to self-destruction and collective suicide based on nothing but a spook…” says Dr Sucharit Bhakdi a specialist in microbiology and professor at the Johannes Gutenberg University.

Dr Pietro Vernazza, a Swiss physician specializing in Infectious Diseases at the Cantonal Hospital, St. Gallen and Professor of Health Policy is screaming out,“If we [continue to] close the schoolswe will prevent the children from quickly becoming immune.”

But, the most important statement, by far, was offered by, Dr John Ioannidis, Professor of Medicine, of Health Research and Policy, Biomedical Data Science at Stanford University School of Medicine, when he was quoted, “If we had not known about a new (COVID-19) virus out there, and had not checked individuals with PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) tests, the number of total deaths due to “influenza-like illness” would not seem unusual this year. At most, we might have casually noted that flu this season seems to be a bit worse than average.”

I cannot impress upon you enough to do your own research where you might begin with his Wikipedia hotlink from above where it states that
Dr. Ioannidis is one of the most-cited medical researchers. His 2005 paper, “Why Most Published Research Findings Are False”, is the most downloaded paper in the Public Library of Science, and has the highest number of Mendeleyreaders.”

YOU MUST STOP AND ASK YOURSELF WHY? Why would one of the most-cited medical researchers risk saying this? Please, before you comment, do your own research. Try to look at the big picture and ask yourself why the WHO (World Health Organization), an agency of the United Nations, with a primary goal of establishing a One World Government, might have alternative motives in declaring the Coronavirus Pandemic. And, as other writers on these pages have previously suggested, look into the CDC (Center for Disease Control) and question the validity of their words.

Literally as we were sending this article to Canada Free Press my good friend and fellow Canadian Free Press writer Jim O’Neill sent the following:

UK Officials saying COVID-19 NO LONGER HIGH CONSEQUENCE INFECTIOUS DISEASE (HCID)

Stating: Now that more is known about COVID-19, the public health bodies in the UK have reviewed the most up to date information about COVID-19 against the UK HCID criteria. They have determined that several features have now changed; in particular, more information is available about mortality rates (low overall), and there is now greater clinical awareness and a specific and sensitive laboratory test, the availability of which continues to increase. The Advisory Committee on Dangerous Pathogens (ACDP) is also of the opinion that COVID-19 should no longer be classified as an HCID.

But, there are two phases to be addressed herein, with the second to clarify the words, “before it is too late”, which were used to stress the unintended consequences of quarantine which will soon rue the day, noting that there is something in the air so thick that you can cut it with the proverbial  knife. The ‘timely’ image above, with this young man saying, “If I get corona, I get corona. At the end of the day, I’m not gonna’ let it stop me from partying…” will, hopefully, get our leaders in the USA to take heed of the upcoming date next Saturday, April 4th, just six short quarantined days away.

For those of you who do not recall this infamous date, next Saturday will bring the 42nd anniversary of the death of Martin Luther King from April 4, 1968. And, on that day, if not sooner, the young, frustrated, inner city gang members, in every ghetto area across America, will have a whole different viewpoint of what it means to ‘party’.

There appears to be too much quarantined restlessness and boredom, combined with the opportunity for many street kids to own-the-night by committing whatever chaotic crimes they care to, with the diminished fear of apprehension. And, good luck with the ‘insurance salesman turned soldier’ standing guard between hundreds, if not thousands of street kids, every one with a phone-camera and Facebook account at the ready, when they believe that it is now their turn to vent their pent-up frustrations into one big-fireside-party. You must also be aware that the potential for many of these uprisings will have been well planned, funded and orchestrated, with very few initially spontaneous.

Please try to get out of the cities while you still can.

Plan to survive and you will.

Message to the New Orleans Mayor, Fight The Virus Not the President

Scoring cheap political points is always distasteful, but it is especially offensive when lives are in danger

Jeff Crouere image

Re-posted from the Canada Free Press By  —— Bio and ArchivesMarch 28, 2020

New Orleans Mayor, Fight The Virus Not the PresidentThe United States has now become the world leader in a rather unfortunate category with the largest number of coronavirus victims. This is due to the vast expansion of tests that have been made available in the United States. In contrast, the reports out of China cannot be trusted.

As of Saturday March 28, there were 121,117 confirmed cases and 2,010 deaths associated with the coronavirus in the United States. The area with the fifth highest total of deaths in the country is New Orleans, which leads the nation in fatalities per capita.

While Mardi Gras is probably one of many reasons why New Orleans has been hit so hard by the coronavirus

Questions are being raised about why New Orleans is ranked so high on the list. Of course, some analysts are pointing to Mardi Gras as the culprit. There were over 1.2 million local citizens and visitors crammed onto the streets of New Orleans for the multi-day celebration in late February, so the coronavirus connection seems clear.

While Mardi Gras is probably one of many reasons why New Orleans has been hit so hard by the coronavirus, New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell, a progressive Democrat, is not accepting any of the blame. In media interviews, Cantrell has focused her ire at the federal government, practically blaming President Donald Trump personally for the problem.

In an interview on Thursday with Wolf Blitzer for CNN’s show “The Situation Room,” Cantrell said, “When it’s not taken seriously at the federal level, it’s very difficult to transcend down to the local level in making these decisions.” She said she was not given “clear direction” and there were “no red flags” about holding Mardi Gras. According to Cantrell, “if we were given proper direction, we would not have had Mardi Gras and I would have been the leader to cancel it.”

This is an expedient and selective analysis by Cantrell. She did not mention that the President stopped all air travel from China four weeks before Mardi Gras. Two weeks before the event, Dr. Nancy Messonnier of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said Americans “should be prepared for this new virus to gain a foothold in the United States.”

Mayor Cantrell is looking for a convenient scapegoat

In February, no one knew exactly how prevalent the coronavirus would become, certainly not the President of the United States nor any other politician. As the outbreak has worsened in New Orleans, Mayor Cantrell is looking for a convenient scapegoat. This is the same approach being used by Washington Governor Jay Inslee, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and other liberal leaders across the country. For Democrat Mayors and Governors, President Trump is an easy target.

A better approach would be to acknowledge what the President has done to deal with the crisis. In the case of New Orleans, the President was not unresponsive to the needs of the region or the state. He approved a federal disaster declaration for Louisiana, making the state the fifth in the nation to qualify for additional federal funding. This also will allow for the full reimbursement of state and local expenses, which currently total at least $71 million to fight the spread of the disease. The federal government is also providing financial support for three coronavirus testing sites in the New Orleans area and has provided almost $40 million in financial resources through the Stafford Act and the CDC.

Along with the Mardi Gras celebration, other factors certainly have played a role in New Orleans being at the top of the coronavirus list. The city has thousands of homeless people and a large percentage of its citizens with inadequate healthcare and housing. In New Orleans, there is a high poverty rate and a huge number of people have preexisting conditions which make the coronavirus even more severe.

Launching political attacks on President Trump on a liberal cable television network

It would be easy to criticize Mayor Cantrell for not effectively addressing the underlying economic, healthcare, housing and other problems which contributed to the spread of the disease in New Orleans. However, instead of blaming any political leader at this point, a better course of action is for the politicians to start working together and supporting President Trump as his coronavirus task force deals with this emergency.

Launching political attacks on President Trump on a liberal cable television network may help Mayor Cantrell with her base of loyal Democrat voters in New Orleans, but it will not help stop the spread of the coronavirus. The only way to lessen the spread and mitigate the damage from the virus is for there to be cooperation among citizens, businesses, government agencies and vigorous support from the federal government.

Mayor Cantrell should realize that insulting President Trump on national television is not the best way to foster close cooperation from the federal government. It is time for her to end the nasty political blame game and start working with President Trump to deal with this disease. Scoring cheap political points is always distasteful, but it is especially offensive when lives are in danger.
