Most people don’t realize that the Jobs and unemployment report is not a hard number but based on surveys as this post talks about. By controlling the size of the “workforce’ and the various surveys themselves most any desired result could be shown. The only limit to the deceit is how far from the truth can they go before it is to obvious that the reports are fabrications.

I live near Cleveland Ohio and in my work i have cause to drive in Cleveland and its suburbs and we i see are hundreds of empty stores and for lease signs. In some cases an entire strip mall maybe empty except for one or two stores. Small business which what these empty spaces represented have been decimated in the last 6 years. Small business many of which are not incorporated are not counted in the employment unemployment reports nor or small farms or the military. All of these containing hard working people trying to better themselves and there are a lot less of them then there were 6 years ago. and if we add the decimation to goods producing we have 3.4 million fewer good paying jobs that we did 6 years ago. Virtually all the current growth in jobs has been in lowing paying service jobs and that is why the average middle class income has dropped by some $4,000 dollars per year in the past 6 years. There has been no recovery!
