EU President Laments – If President Trump Wins USA Election, Europe Will Have to Be Self-Sufficient

Yes, indeed the sixty-year-long era of the extended Marshal Plan might actually come to an end if President Trump wins the 2024 election, and Europe can no longer benefit from one-way tariffs and generous USA subsidies. This stark reality is once again the concern for Belgium Prime Minister Alexander De Croo.

Warning that President Trump’s outlook toward a self-sustaining Europe would mean a challenge to the norms of modern democracy, the rotating president of the Union is worried that tailored skinny pants and slim cut suits might soon be selling next to tractor boots and big fur hats.

BRUSSELS (AP) — The European Union presidency on Tuesday warned that the foundations of democracy will be put to the test during the November U.S. election, envisaging a scenario where the longstanding trans-Atlantic alliance could unravel ever more.

Prime Minister Alexander De Croo of Belgium, whose country currently holds the rotating EU presidency, said that “if 2024 brings us ‘America first’ again, it is really more than ever ‘Europe on its own.’”

De Croo spoke in an address to the EU legislature only hours after former President Donald Trump’s landslide win in the Republican Party’s Iowa caucuses.

His words harked back to the 2017-2021 Trump administration, when U.S. relations with Europe took a nosedive because of near-incessant trans-Atlantic quarrels about trade, security and military cooperation that eroded trust and cooperation.

De Croo said the 27-nation EU should quickly learn to stand more on its own and that in case of a Trump victory in November, “we should, as Europeans, not fear this perspective. We should embrace it.” (more)

Hey, Iowa

Posted originally on the CTH on January 15, 024 | Sundance

Hey guys, just a little note to give context to something that might help elevate your spirits.

You are starting something today.

Yes, you.

Yup, you guys.

You probably don’t know about it; maybe you haven’t even thought about it, but I have.  And I’ve talked to a whole lot of people about it in places you cannot even imagine. So, as you consider this day – let me give you a little perspective.

You guys in Iowa are connected to something bigger than you can imagine. All around the world there are people watching, listening, reading and waiting to see what you can do today. You see, in places where you don’t even realize people are talking about you, there’s coffee shops and food joints in every continent talking about this U.S election and the domino they hope to see you drop today.

Y’all are fixing to start something that is much bigger than Iowa. It’s connected to a world of ordinary people who are doing their best, in whatever form they can muster, to push the Great Reset folks out of their lives. From Eastern Europe to the Middle east, from Asia through Australia and back to South/Central and North America, there are people watching and hoping.

You see, what Donald Trump represents is much bigger than just an American election. All around the world people just like you are trying to do the best they can against the systems of western government that are allied against our interests.  Farmers in Germany and Holland, truck drivers in Poland and Canada, taxicab drivers in France, Spain, Hungary and Japan, union workers in Australia and the U.K, it’s the same story everywhere and the same questions about how to defeat it in every conversation.

It’s might seem like a local issue to you, and indeed in the detail of the thing it is. However, in the bigger picture there are millions of people outside the U.S. who are cheering for you, elevating you in their various thoughts and denominational prayers and crossing their fingers.

You have the ability to begin Making America Great Again, but the ramifications of your effort extend far beyond the central U.S. farmland.

In case you really had not thought about it, y’all are important peeps right now. Pretty cool, eh?

I saw this prayer today:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come to you this morning with humble hearts, seeking your guidance and protection. We ask that you watch over our family in Iowa and keep them safe from harm. Help us to love and support one another, and to always remember that we are blessed. We have you to thank for all of this.

In Jesus’ name, AMEN and AMEN.

Today is ours.
Pray for Trump.

Allow me to add a personal note.

Yes, to all of that sentiment….

… Now, let’s get out there, turn over the fucking tables and kick their ass!

President Trump Holds 8 Point Lead Over Joe Biden in Michigan

Michigan is going to be a tough contest, because Wayne County is one of the primary places where Democrat operatives manufacture ballots.  However, that said, President Trump is now leading Joe Biden by 8 points, slightly more than the estimated 5% fraudulent ballots the Democrats can create.

Additionally, according to the latest polling [SEE HERE], Joe Biden only holds a 17% approval rating in Michigan.

MICHIGAN – President Joe Biden’s support is on shaky ground in Michigan, and he trails Republican Donald Trump by 8 percentage points in a head-to-head matchup 10 months before the Nov. 5 election, according to a new statewide poll commissioned by The Detroit News and WDIV-TV (Channel 4).

[…] The survey of 600 likely general election voters in the battleground state found only 17% said Biden, the Democratic incumbent, deserved another term leading the country. That number marked a low for a major public officeholder in modern Michigan political history, said Richard Czuba, founder of Lansing-based Glengariff Group, which conducted the poll.

Likewise, in a potential contest between Biden and Trump, who is facing a historic onslaught of criminal charges, 47% of likely voters said they preferred the Republican, while 39% selected Biden, an 8-point advantage for Trump, according to the survey with a margin of error of plus or minus 4 points. In addition, 3% said they would vote for another candidate, and 11% said they were undecided.

Trump’s lead over Biden widened to 11 points when voters surveyed were given a list of third party candidates. (read more)

With a 17% approval rating in Michigan, it would appear Joe Biden’s war on cars is backfiring.

A Strong Advocate – SD Governor Kristi Noem Discusses DeSantis and Haley and Why She Supports Donald Trump

Posted originally on the CTH on January 4, 2024 | Sundance

There is zero doubt, none, that South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem is positioning herself on the short list for President Trump’s Vice-President or a very senior level role in the next Trump administration. Noem is currently campaigning in Iowa as a surrogate for Donald Trump.

In this CBS interview with Major Garrett, Governor Noem explains why she supports Donald Trump and gives specific reasons why Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley will not win in Iowa, New Hampshire or South Carolina. WATCH (prompted):

Noem is strong in many aspects; however, her previous positions on immigration in combination with the influence of the Koch crew send big warning flares. A very strong argument can be made that Koch is in the background with subtle assists for Noem in order to position an insurance policy against President Trump’s success. It’s a challenging perspective to keep at the forefront because the articulate South Dakota governor is easy to like, but prudent caution with Noem is warranted.

Noem’s remarks about Nikki Haley are spot-on, and Noem’s political value in confronting Haley cannot be overstated.  It is very wise to leverage Kristi Noem as the lead person against the efforts by those in the professional UniParty who are trying to position Nikki Haley.
