President Trump Widens Lead Over Joe Biden – GOP Field Not Even Close

There are a few interesting aspects about this Harris/Messenger poll [DATA HERE] that merit some discussion. First, the poll itself is a large sample size with solid cross tabs and demographics. This is not a media poll.

Second, the sample of independent voters is slightly less than norm. That means the actual reality of the Trump -vs- Biden portion of the poll is better than the result that is reflected. Independants increasingly favor Donald Trump. That said, this poll affirms previous recent polling showing that Trump is widening his lead amid all of the key demographics that matter. All good news for team Trump.

The poll, taken September 13-19 among 3,015 registered voters, found that Trump led Biden, 46%-41%. The margin of error was plus or minus 1.8 percentage points. (link)

On the Republican primary it’s not even close, and even more people are starting to wonder now why any challenger remains in the race.  With a clear party frontrunner this far ahead, all of the gnat challengers are simply hurting themselves. The longer this continues the more diminished their influence.

The donors and billionaires have come to the same conclusion, as shared in a rather lengthy NBC report yesterday. It’s not the campaigns. It’s not the consultants. It’s not the candidates….  It’s the voters.  The formidable scale of the MAGA base voter has just worn down the Republican Party apparatus.

[Via NBC] – […] There is no major anti-Trump super PAC or significant donor financing a push to topple him as the party’s leader, and there is concern that, at this point, spending financial or political capital to undercut Trump is a fool’s errand.

In fact, the two major outside political organizations running ads urging voters to move away from Trump have so far not lived up to the mass anti-Trump spending campaign that some in the party had hoped for.

Five months out from the primary here, the anti-Trump effort is fragmented and weakened as no other Republican presidential candidate is able to even come close to the former president in the polls, despite his legal troubles.

And it’s not just South Carolina. Nationally, the hypothetical anti-Trump cavalry within the Republican Party has yet to materialize, and GOP strategists tell NBC News that it may be too late.

Even when a conservative group does try to hit Trump, it’s often nothing more than a glancing blow and focused on concerns about his ability to beat President Joe Biden. In fact, one spot this summer from one of those groups started with a voter saying, “I love Donald Trump.” (more)

Washington Post/ABC Poll Shows President Trump With 10 Point Lead Over Joe Biden

Posted originally on the CTH on September 24, 2023 | Sundance

At a lengthy dinner last night, this was part of the conversation.  In my remarks I shared that Donald Trump had gained approximately 20% more support amid the average voting base for 2024 than he retained in 2020.  This puts the margin of voter fraud needed to defeat Trump in 2024 at a level that cannot be achieved.

This visible scale of support is also one of the baseline datapoints explaining why Barack Obama is slowly exiting from the Biden influence operation.  Obama knows when to exit and avoid the collateral damage.

I drive home, check alerts and news…. and THERE IT IS.  A new Washington Post/ABC poll [DATA HERE] showing President Trump with a 10-point lead over Joe Biden 52 to 42.

[Source]

The Washington Post spends the majority of their article trying to reconcile their polling result as an “outlier.”  However, all of the underlying results on favorability, top issues to voters, and even the preferred republican primary are identical to all other polling.  The topline result of Trump -v- Biden, is not an outlier.  It is the reality.

President Trump has broadened his base appeal and expanded the aligned MAGA support group.  Trump dominates in younger voters and every demographic, with massive gains in Latino and Black voter support.  In essence, the Trump voting block is statistically too large for voter fraud to bury.   All of these are excellent results.

Conversely, Biden is responsible for the chaos represented in the collapse of support.  The Biden economy is hurting the average working-class voter.  The border is in a state of crisis and the throw everything into the radical policy mix, has created widespread trouble for Americans.  Biden cannot win in 2024, period.

WASHINGTON POST – […] The Post-ABC poll shows Biden trailing Trump by 10 percentage points at this early stage in the election cycle, although the sizable margin of Trump’s lead in this survey is significantly at odds with other public polls that show the general election contest a virtual dead heat. The difference between this poll and others, as well as the unusual makeup of Trump’s and Biden’s coalitions in this survey, suggest it is probably an outlier. (read more)

The pressure is mounting to get rid of Biden.  The Washington Post is assisting in that effort.

Leadership – Staying in the Eye of the Storm

Posted originally on the CTH on September 23, 2023 | Sundance

From real life requested conversations in the last few days, some of the discussion is worth sharing.

Knowing who you are, I mean really knowing what your core center of values and purpose is about, is very important as the storms of constructed chaos swirl around us.

Like a national hurricane, everything swirling around us seems chaotic and mad right now. The chaos is purposeful and comes from a multitude of directions almost simultaneously. However, also like a national hurricane it is possible to stay calm in the eye of the storm; but only if you are truly centered to the guiding elements of life that create the core purpose.

Faith in a loving and purposeful God grounds the soul to the truest of true things. Do not diminish this importance.

Those who use the skills of division to achieve their chaotic purpose, well understand that isolation -the dark imagining- first begins with a rejection of God. Therefore, put God into everything; spend time with Him, and not just at the prescheduled times of worship. Put God into your life, keep Him there, and take purposeful action in every moment to ensure the armor plate He provides is with you. No weapon formed against you shall prosper.

Once you have that anchor solidly in place, then resolve to maintain your core values. “Resolve” is a misunderstood word; it is not a static sensibility. Resolve is an action-oriented word that takes thought, practice and internal reminding mechanisms. The core values are not only what you believe, but also who you are, who you present yourself to be to those around you.

Standing steadfast with your guiding principles and values in place, then establishes your ability to withstand chaos and remain on mission. Your family, friends, allies and supporters will navigate the crisis as long as you are resolute. This doesn’t mean you are not flexible, flexibility to the dynamics of the moment is necessary. However, holding that true compass heading will keep your purpose well defined.

You will be tested, sometimes brutally, and you will be tempted to get pulled away from the core purpose of your effort and into the surrounding foray, but this is where the active decision to remain resolute comes into play.

You must actively be the lighthouse in order for those who need you to navigate toward it. The lighthouse doesn’t reach out or change location to make itself more directionally visible for those in need. You cannot control their view; the lighthouse remains consistent and steadfast, and those who need the waypoint will find a way to get it back into sight.

We are living in an era of purposeful crisis. The situations we discuss are chaotic and mad, because they have been purposefully created to be that way. The counter-effort to combat this seemingly perpetual crisis is to refuse to be destabilized by what they manufacturer.  Stay on mission.

This advice flows purposefully toward many.  In this context it is about leadership, and the massive efforts underway by those with bad intent to target the leadership of groups and organizations whose purpose is to combat the chaos.  However, the same advice is personal and can be attributed to those who are in a position to protect their family, their community or their civic assembly.

Our nation needs strong leaders, and I’m not talking about politicians.  We need strong mules who will plow into fields that have never been attempted before.  Train yourself mentally to withstand the turmoil and lead your family, friends, group, tribe or community with a fierce and unrelenting resolve.

Despite the chaos they create, our national adversaries are weak people devoid of pure character.  Their arguments are shallow, filled with hypocrisy and they rely upon you to pretend their creation is real or holds merit; it is not, and it doesn’t.

Do not give value to the shallow constructs of evil intent and use brutal honesty in a very public way to expose them.

No flinching!

That is all.

Trump Promises Largest Deportation in US History

Armstrong Economics Blog/Politics Re-Posted Sep 22, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

Illegal aliens are pouring into America from the southern and northern borders. Cities have been destroyed, public places overrun, and local governments are wiping out their budgets to support these intruders. US citizens are beginning to clash with refugees, as was witnessed in Staten Island, NY, when people tried to prevent migrants from exiting a bus. The NYPD was there in full force but was nowhere to be seem when Black Lives Matter was burning down neighborhoods. The migrants are here because the Biden Administration allowed them in. If elected, Donald Trump promises to kick them out.

“One of the most important issues in this campaign is ending the nation-wrecking catastrophe on our southern border,” Trump stated. He says that the invasion as created such a crisis that he would work to secure the borders on day one. “A vote for President Trump means Joe Biden’s horror show at the southern border ends at high noon on Inauguration Day, 2025,” he stated. Trump said he will end every open border policy and follow the Eisenhower Model.

President Dwight Eisenhower implemented Operation Wetback in 1954 to deport Mexican citizens. The term “wetback” has been considered derogatory ever since, but both the Mexican and US government participated. America needed cheap labor during World War II and introduced the Bracero program from 1942 to 1964. Mexicans could work in the US temporarily on short-term contracts. Mexico agreed as they wanted their citizens to return with USD to boost the economy. The US government was unable to handle the influx and this led to the El Paso incident where Border Patrol simply opened the borders with Texas. Two million Mexicans applied for the Bracero program but 70% were denied.

Mexico was facing a time of political instability and extreme poverty. No one wanted to return to Mexico with their dollars, angering the Mexican government, and a portion were there illegally without a contract. The US and Mexican governments collaborated on Operation Wetback in June 1954. The goal was to deport as many people as possible with little to no processing time. Numerous planes, buses, and boats descended on the US and brought everyone they could find back to the Mexican border. The Mexican government then moved these people to a portion of the country in need of labor, primarily agricultural. Over 1,074,277 people were deported back to Mexico.

Human rights groups back then shrieked at the inhumane handling of migrants. In today’s world, the Social Justice Warriors would use their own children to barricade the border to prevent this from taking place. But there is no alternative. South Korea recently implemented a less extreme mass deportation strategy that was successful. There are estimates that over 3 million illegals have entered the nation under Biden, and they’re not here to work in the fields. Trump has long touted the importance of securing the border and perhaps now others will listen.

47,000 Member Oil and Gas Workers Association Endorses President Trump

The Oil and Gas Association based 30 minutes away from Midland in Odessa, Texas, has 47,000 members nationwide, including in Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Colorado, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Alaska.

On the same day that Ron DeSantis launched his national energy policy with a speech in Midland, Texas, the Oil and Gas Assoc endorses President Trump.

(Via Daily Mail) – The Oil and Gas Workers Association is endorsing Donald Trump, snubbing Ron DeSantis on the day of his energy policy announcement to support the former president.

‘Governor DeSantis says a lot of the right things, right, but his track record isn’t there,’ Oil and Gas Workers Association President Matt Coday told DailyMail.com in an exclusive interview.

He cited Trump’s withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement, his decision to exit the Iran nuclear deal, and the former president’s work to save American oil and gas jobs as the reason for the endorsement.

The announcement comes the same day DeSantis announced his energy policy, which includes plans to increase US oil and gas production with the goal of achieving $2 gas in 2025.

‘I will ensure that this country does not have to rely on hostile nations for its energy needs ever again,’ DeSantis said in a speech in Midland, Texas.

DeSantis’s announcement comes as he tries to position himself as the policy-focused GOP candidate. His campaign has been trailing in the polls.

Trump remains the frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination with a 46 point lead over DeSantis, according to the RealClearPolitics polling average.

The former president was campaigning in Iowa on Wednesday with two events in the eastern part of the state.  (read more)

President Trump Will Give Speech in Detroit on Night of Second GOPe Debate for First Losers

Posted originally on the CTH on September 18, 2023 | Sundance

A smart and strategic move by President Trump, the MAGA warrior of the middle and working-class.

On the night of the second GOPe ‘first loser’ debate, President Donald Trump will be in Detroit giving remarks to striking union workers, pipefitters and various trade workers.

The core of the MAGA coalition is the working and forgotten men and women who keep this nation functioning; a constituency that extends far beyond all races, colors, creeds and affiliations.

(New York Times) – Former President Donald J. Trump is planning to travel to Detroit on the day of the next Republican primary debate, according to two Trump advisers with knowledge of the plans, injecting himself into the labor dispute between striking autoworkers and the nation’s leading auto manufacturers.

The trip, which will include a prime-time speech before current and former union members, is the second consecutive primary debate that Mr. Trump is skipping to instead hold his own counterprogramming. He sat for an interview with the former Fox News host Tucker Carlson that posted online during the first G.O.P. presidential debate in August.

The decision to go to Michigan just days after the United Auto Workers went on strike shows the extent to which Mr. Trump wants to be seen as looking past his primary rivals — and the reality that both he and his political apparatus are already focused on the possibility of a rematch with President Biden.

So instead of attending the next G.O.P. debate — on Sept. 27 in California at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum — Mr. Trump intends to speak to over 500 workers, with his campaign planning to fill the room with plumbers, pipefitters, electricians, as well as autoworkers, according to one of the Trump advisers familiar with the planning. Mr. Trump has not directly addressed the wage demands of striking workers and has attacked the union leadership, but he has tried to more broadly cast himself on the side of autoworkers. (read more)

As a businessman and Main Street builder, President Trump knows the value of labor and is well known for treating his employees and staff exceptionally well.  As a builder in many metropolitan areas, for decades Donald Trump has maintained a good working relationship with labor unions and trade workers.

One of the distinctions that separated Donald Trump from the professional Republican field in 2016, was his support for organized labor and his belief that all deals and business enterprises should start with a common respect for the people who do the work.  Many stories have been told about President Trump just listening to the people closest to the work to find optimal solutions for the organization; it has been a very effective style of leadership.

While the politics of labor leadership often align with the Democrat Party, sometimes against the wishes of the members, Donald Trump has a unique way of winning the hearts of the workers, while drawing a respectful distinction with union leadership.  Quite simply, Trump knows the game and uses his own personal style to authentically connect to the workforce.
