Trump Cashes in on New Commodity

Posted originally Feb 21, 2024 By Martin Armstrong

Donald Trump has the mind of a true businessman. Say what you will, but he knows how to turn any situation into a business opportunity. A day after the completely corrupt New York legal system ordered him to pay the government $355 million, Donald Trump appeared at “Sneaker Con” in Philadelphia to launch a limited-edition personalized sneaker. The footwear, retailed at $399, sold out within minutes. Yet, this move had more to do with campaigning than profit.

“The Never Surrender High-Tops” are now retailing for tens of thousands of dollars on the underground market. The press is condemning the move, saying that the shoes lack taste and Trump should have slunk away in defeat after his ruling. Instead, he appeared at an event with a new commodity aimed toward the youth. There is a large market among American youth for limited-edition sneakers, with many touting their vast collections online. There is an entire community centered around footwear, and those people have valued the sneaker more than the price of gold.

“Money” is whatever someone is willing to accept in trade, be it gold, silver, or sneakers. The people have positioned this sneaker to retail for tens of thousands of dollars. That generation does not see the face value of say a rare coin or silver, but they do see the value in high-end or limited-edition fashion merchandise. There are now bids on eBay for over $45,000, and these collectibles will only rise in value.

Hundreds of people, mainly the youth, took to social media to praise the former president for acknowledging the footwear market. Many were surprised the former president even knew of “Sneaker Con” as most politicians simply cannot find a way to connect with the youth. Not only was this move a free press opportunity, but Trump was able to promote his image at a time when the media was positioning him to appear defeated.

The profit to Trump was minimal at face value, but it boosted his image among a core demographic that does not lean conservative. While I personally would not be caught wearing gold sneakers, there are countless people now placing pre-orders for Trump footwear, although the first batch will naturally retain the most value.

During Concord Rally President Trump Says No to Nikki Haley as VP Possibility

Posted originally on the CTH on January 19, 2024 | Sundance

Let’s all have a big smile as we finally put this continued “media narrative” away.

Speaking at a rally in Concord, New Hampshire, President Donald Trump said Nikki Haley “is not presidential timbre” and “puts America last.” Effectively ending the speculation that “people familiar with Trump thinking” report Nikki Haley as a potential VP selection.  WATCH:

It was never going to happen specifically because of what we pointed out before. [GO DEEP] Nikki Haley went scorched earth on President Trump in a lengthy Politico interview after January 6, 2021:

“I don’t think [Trump’s] going to be in the picture,” she said, matter-of-factly. “I don’t think he can. He’s fallen so far.” […] “We need to acknowledge he let us down,” she said. “He went down a path he shouldn’t have, and we shouldn’t have followed him, and we shouldn’t have listened to him. And we can’t let that ever happen again.”  (link)

Haley’s calculation at the time was that President Trump was politically finished.  Both Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley were wrong.

I doubt anyone is happier than me to hear President Trump confirm, never Nikki!

Frank Luntz Has Big Sad – Predicts Donald Trump Will Win 2024 Election

When asked what he would do if he had to place $150,000 on a bet for the outcome of the 2024 election, the former Fox News analyst, and Kevin McCarthy roommate, takes a big breath, heavy sigh and says “Trump.”

[Insert dramatic background music here because it’s, well, Frank Luntz. What a doofus.]

2024 – The Backfire

Posted originally on the CTH on January 13, 2024 | Sundance

There are hundreds of emails that flow into the mail center of CTH daily.  Amid many of them we see this sentiment in various forms, generally as an outcome of a deep dive article that cannot be “pretended away.”

This is a very, very common refrain:

“I did not vote for Donald Trump in either of the other two US Presidential elections in which he ran. I will for him this year.

The choice, in this year’s US Presidential election, has been an easy one for me to make.

I’m not a supporter of Donald Trump.

I’m a defender of Donald Trump.

I have absolutely no doubt that I will vote next November 5th. I’ve no doubt that I will vote for Donald Trump. His opponents have been over the top (as Trump said accurately) in “weaponizing the justice system.” Undermining the electoral system, too, I might add.

And, while we’re added, let’s give some thought to the very most basic tenet of American justice: the presumption of innocence. It’s a little bit early in the nation’s decline to abandon that, isn’t it? Give it another 20 years, then sink that low.

I believe every American who knows anything at all about the nation’s foundational principles, and believes in those principles, should be a defender of Donald Trump.

Let him run. Let him win if he can. Denying him that opportunity is not a violation of his right to seek election; it’s a violation of the right of every voting American citizen whose choice for the Presidency is Donald Trump.  I just became one of them.”

REUTERS: World Economic Forum Meets with Trump Discussion at Forefront – Global Corporations and Politicians Fearful of Trump Impact on World

Posted originally on the CTH on January 12, 2024 | Sundance

The world’s largest multinational corporations, bankers and finance agents are meeting in Davos at the World Economic Forum next week – gathering together with their political beneficiaries. However, as noted by Reuters, the biggest concern of the assembly of global influencers is the risk that Donald J. Trump represents.

….There are trillions at stake.

Ending the Ukraine war would be detrimental to the group; this is one of the immediate concerns they carry. President Trump negotiating a peaceful resolution to the Ukraine (or Israel/Hamas) conflict is against the interests of the multinationals.

Downstream issues around the elimination of the climate change agenda, the Trump impediment to the creation of central bank digital currencies, the rise of nationalism as a protective measure against the growing impact of global corporations, and the Trump opposition to globalist institutions like the World Health Organization, World Trade Organization or Western World Bank are also discussion topics.

In essence, the World Economic Forum fears Donald J. Trump. Ironically, and yet not coincidentally, the theme of the WEF gathering this year is “rebuilding trust.” However, fear of the non-pretending is what this Reuters article is describing.

REUTERS – The most talked-about person in Davos next week will be nowhere near the Swiss mountain resort. As politicians, financiers and chief executives converge for this year’s World Economic Forum, Donald Trump will be 7,500 kilometres away in Iowa, starting his quest to win the U.S. Republican Party’s presidential nomination for the third time. Even so, his possible return to the White House will pervade Davos discussions on topics ranging from Ukraine, China, trade, and climate change.

Trump is not the only prominent political figure absent from the gathering, whose official theme is “Rebuilding Trust”. Previous attendees such as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi are also giving the event a pass, perhaps with an eye on upcoming elections at home. British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, who is due to face the voters in the coming 12 months, is another no-show.

The 2,800 business and political leaders who have made the trip will instead hear from Chinese Premier Li Qiang, French President Emmanuel Macron, and newly elected Argentinian President Javier Milei. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Jake Sullivan, the White House national security adviser, will represent President Joe Biden’s government. Yet the spectre of a second Trump administration will loom over many of the panels, bilateral discussions and drinks parties during the week.

Take Ukraine, whose President Volodymyr Zelenskiy is due to address attendees on Tuesday. European diplomats fear a re-elected Trump would cut off American aid supporting the country’s war with Russia and that he may follow through on previous threats to withdraw from the NATO alliance. Any longer-term decisions about providing financial support for rebuilding Ukraine or what to do with frozen Russian financial assets will also hinge on who ends up in the White House. (read more)

President Trump Says He Knows Who His Vice-Presidential Running Mate Is

Posted originally on the CTH on January 11, 2024 | Sundance

Somewhat surprising the inquisition duo, President Trump announced last night he knows who his Vice-Presidential candidate is going to be.  WATCH:

.

President Trump also explains how he would staff his new administration.  Video Below:

.

President Trump discusses how he will keep America out of foreign conflicts:

.

President Donald Trump shares how he would address the number of migrants who have entered the U.S. illegally.  “The largest deportation effort in American history”…

.

President Trump discusses protecting life in America:

.

President Donald Trump reacts to President Biden saying political violence is ‘never acceptable’.

.

President Trump discusses cutting government spending on Fox News.  His response on the original COVID pandemic spending issue is 100% accurate.  Additionally, President Trump is the only candidate who can talk successfully and accurately about expanding the economy to generate more income.

All other candidates talk about budget cuts and a limited economic pie [scarcity mentality].  President Trump talks about growing the economy to increase the revenue side of the ledger [abundance mentality].  Trump is correct.

.

I come at this discussion as a person who continually tries to navigate the mechanics of the silo system in Washington DC.  Additionally, many of the positions at the top of the silos, what we would consider cabinet members, have various levels of influence from ‘moderate‘ to ‘none at all‘ depending on the construct of the individual agency (silo).

As an outcome, the nuts and bolts of what we want to see happen, let’s call that generally ‘elimination of political corruption’, are slightly disconnected from how it is possible to happen given the nature of how each institutional silo is constructed.

Some silos are more impervious than others. Some cabinet members are more functionary than others, and in some instances, the deputy is more important than the primary.

To get deep in the weeds, we need to understand each silo as a completely autonomous operation; holding various levels of attachment to the overall DC system depending on how the silo is structured and, in some cases, weaponized.

Then we need to evaluate an overall skillset from a very practical, non-pretending level.  There is one shot at this, and the construct of the Trump 2.0 administration must begin with the end in mind.  That end includes accepting that one four-year term will not be enough to remove the embeds that were seeded over the course of 12 prior years.  Some systems need to be taken down to nothing, others can be steered with extreme effort by those who can operate effectively inside the machine.

The reason for a Vice-Presidential selection like Dr Ben Carson has been previously outlined {SEE HERE].  Carson appears to have the faith, stability and integrity to be a stabilizing force amid the sea of chaos that is created when a war against evil enterprise begins.

The value of having a faith servant in the role of close counsellor to President Trump cannot be overstated.  If Carson is not the correct person to take the role, Carson would be the first to announce it…. which, ultimately, makes him more qualified.

Good is going to have to battle Evil, and at the same time the entire nation will need stability, optimism and a resurgence of faith.  In short, no one is winning this political war without putting God, righteousness and prayer at the forefront as the DC temple tables are turned.  When it gets ugly, and it will get extremely ugly, something just inherently tells me, Carson will rise.

Perhaps if I expand the list, a bigger understanding will be possible.

This time I shall endeavor to put context behind the names and add some specifics to the silo challenge.

♦ Secretary of State:  Ric Grenell.

♦ UN Ambassador: Tulsi Gabbard

The Dept of State is the front agency for the Central Intelligence Agency.  When the CIA wants to seed an operative, they are given State Dept credentials.  Whoever is running the State Dept will have a working relationship with the CIA Director.  Grenell already knows how this works; he will be able to support the Trump Doctrine on day one with a full understanding of institutional context as the downsizing through attrition begins.

♦ CIA Director: Robert Kennedy Jr.

♦ Deputy CIA Director: Kash Patel

See how that works?  RFK Jr. can put up or shut up, but Kash Patel is the insurance policy in the event RFK Jr. is bearing false witness.  The core agenda is carried out by the Deputy, while the Director is the functionary receiving silo information to satiate the executive (Trump).  What happens in the layers below the functionary are what really matters.  Kash has eyes-on, without the distractions of the functionary role.

♦ Defense Secretary:  Vivek Ramaswamy.

♦ Asst. Defense Secretary:  Eric Prince.

Many people understandably freak out with a Def Sec with no experience in military.  However, the Def Sec is designed to be civilian led military; the President is the Commander in Chief.  The Def Sec executes military efforts to support the President.  This is the problem with having career military as Def Sec; they regard the institution as more important than the instructions they receive. [See Mark Milley and/or James Mattis and/or Alexander Vindman, they go rogue.]  The U.S. military needs to be managed now, brought to heel and Wokeism removed.  Ramaswamy, a functionary, can put up or shut up.

Again, see how that works?  Prince becomes the insurance policy.  The nuts-and-bolts guy to make sure the military silo is carefully reconstructed, and the flag officers that need to be removed and replaced are removed and replaced.

♦ National Security Advisor: John Ratcliffe

♦ National Security Council (NSC), Chair: Michael Flynn [Tasked with taking NSC from current size to 30-50]

♦ Dept of Homeland Security (DHS), Secretary: Tom Homan

♦ Treasury Secretary: (Executive Privilege)

♦ Fed Chairman: (Executive Privilege)

♦ United State Trade Representative: Ambassador Robert Lighthizer [restart where he left off]

♦ Commerce Secretary:  Peter Navarro

♦ Chairman of the National Economic Council (NEC), Chair: Lou Dobbs

♦ Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Administrator: Sarah Palin

♦ Federal Communication Commission (FCC), Commissioner:  Mike Benz

♦ Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CPFB), Administrator: Pam Bondi

♦ Dept of Agriculture, Secretary: Kristi Noem

♦ FBI Director: Matt Gaetz / Josh Hawley

♦ Deputy FBI Director: Andrew Bailey

 FBI Legal Counsel: Rudy Giuliani

♦ DOJ Attorney General:  Ken Paxton

♦ DOJ Deputy AG: John Eastman

♦ Asst. Deputy AG in charge of DOJ National Security Division (DOJ-NSD): Sidney Powell

♦ DOJ Civil Rights Division: Mark Robinson

♦ Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI):  Rand Paul

♦ National Security Agency, Director: Thomas Massie

♦ FEMA Director: Jeb Bush  [Yes, THAT Jeb Bush.  He’s insufferable at everything else, but he knows how to handle emergency management very effectively, and he’s bilingual.]

♦ Office of Management and Budgets (OMB), Director: Kevin Hassett

♦ Interior Secretary: Marjorie Taylor Greene

♦ WH Press Secretary: Kerri Kupec

♦ WH Communications Director: Amanda Milius

♦ White House Chief of Staff: Dan Scavino (no question), or Kari Lake

♦ White House Presidential Personnel Office (PPO), Director: Steve Bannon

♦ WH PPO Deputy Director: Catherine Englebrecht

Something like that….

PS. First SCOTUS nominee:  U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen
