EU President Laments – If President Trump Wins USA Election, Europe Will Have to Be Self-Sufficient

Posted originally on the CTH on January 17, 2024 | Sundance

Yes, indeed the sixty-year-long era of the extended Marshal Plan might actually come to an end if President Trump wins the 2024 election, and Europe can no longer benefit from one-way tariffs and generous USA subsidies. This stark reality is once again the concern for Belgium Prime Minister Alexander De Croo.

Warning that President Trump’s outlook toward a self-sustaining Europe would mean a challenge to the norms of modern democracy, the rotating president of the Union is worried that tailored skinny pants and slim cut suits might soon be selling next to tractor boots and big fur hats.

BRUSSELS (AP) — The European Union presidency on Tuesday warned that the foundations of democracy will be put to the test during the November U.S. election, envisaging a scenario where the longstanding trans-Atlantic alliance could unravel ever more.

Prime Minister Alexander De Croo of Belgium, whose country currently holds the rotating EU presidency, said that “if 2024 brings us ‘America first’ again, it is really more than ever ‘Europe on its own.’”

De Croo spoke in an address to the EU legislature only hours after former President Donald Trump’s landslide win in the Republican Party’s Iowa caucuses.

His words harked back to the 2017-2021 Trump administration, when U.S. relations with Europe took a nosedive because of near-incessant trans-Atlantic quarrels about trade, security and military cooperation that eroded trust and cooperation.

De Croo said the 27-nation EU should quickly learn to stand more on its own and that in case of a Trump victory in November, “we should, as Europeans, not fear this perspective. We should embrace it.” (more)

After a resounding victory in Iowa, President Trump flew to New York City at 3:00am to prepare for another court appearance triggered by the Lawfare operations using E Jean Carroll.  Billionaire LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman is funding the lawsuit brought by Carroll, and billionaire Reid Hoffman is also funding Nikki Haley.  It’s easy to see the play happening there.

Following the court appearance created by Reid Hoffman, Donald Trump, the defiant voice of the people, then travels to give a campaign speech at the Atkinson Country Club in Atkinson, New Hampshire where he will confront Nikki Haley, another creation of Reid Hoffman.  President Trump is anticipated to speak around 6:30pm ET. Hey, Iowa

Posted originally on the CTH on January 15, 024 | Sundance

Hey guys, just a little note to give context to something that might help elevate your spirits.

You are starting something today.

Yes, you.

Yup, you guys.

You probably don’t know about it; maybe you haven’t even thought about it, but I have.  And I’ve talked to a whole lot of people about it in places you cannot even imagine. So, as you consider this day – let me give you a little perspective.

You guys in Iowa are connected to something bigger than you can imagine. All around the world there are people watching, listening, reading and waiting to see what you can do today. You see, in places where you don’t even realize people are talking about you, there’s coffee shops and food joints in every continent talking about this U.S election and the domino they hope to see you drop today.

Y’all are fixing to start something that is much bigger than Iowa. It’s connected to a world of ordinary people who are doing their best, in whatever form they can muster, to push the Great Reset folks out of their lives. From Eastern Europe to the Middle east, from Asia through Australia and back to South/Central and North America, there are people watching and hoping.

You see, what Donald Trump represents is much bigger than just an American election. All around the world people just like you are trying to do the best they can against the systems of western government that are allied against our interests.  Farmers in Germany and Holland, truck drivers in Poland and Canada, taxicab drivers in France, Spain, Hungary and Japan, union workers in Australia and the U.K, it’s the same story everywhere and the same questions about how to defeat it in every conversation.

It’s might seem like a local issue to you, and indeed in the detail of the thing it is. However, in the bigger picture there are millions of people outside the U.S. who are cheering for you, elevating you in their various thoughts and denominational prayers and crossing their fingers.

You have the ability to begin Making America Great Again, but the ramifications of your effort extend far beyond the central U.S. farmland.

In case you really had not thought about it, y’all are important peeps right now. Pretty cool, eh?

I saw this prayer today:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come to you this morning with humble hearts, seeking your guidance and protection. We ask that you watch over our family in Iowa and keep them safe from harm. Help us to love and support one another, and to always remember that we are blessed. We have you to thank for all of this.

In Jesus’ name, AMEN and AMEN.

Today is ours.
Pray for Trump.

Allow me to add a personal note.

Yes, to all of that sentiment….

… Now, let’s get out there, turn over the fucking tables and kick their ass!

CBS Poll – President Trump Extends Lead

Posted originally on the CTH on January 14, 2024 | Sundance

The latest CBS polling [SEE HERE] reflects what most people already know, President Trump is the choice of the American middle class.

However, what’s funny about the poll is the narrative that CBS blends into the outline of the result where they ponder why the media effort to promote and support Nikki Haley has not been more effective.  That’s funny stuff, I don’t care who y’are.

CBS – Donald Trump’s support among national Republican primary voters has now risen to its highest level yet.

His legal issues obviously haven’t hurt his standing with primary voters and some of his recent controversial statements resonate with many GOP and “MAGA” voters.

Republican voters continue to believe Trump is their best bet to beat Joe Biden in November, even as Nikki Haley leads Joe Biden by a wider margin in a general election match-up than either Trump or Ron DeSantis. We show why in this analysis.  (read more)

Frank Luntz Has Big Sad – Predicts Donald Trump Will Win 2024 Election

When asked what he would do if he had to place $150,000 on a bet for the outcome of the 2024 election, the former Fox News analyst, and Kevin McCarthy roommate, takes a big breath, heavy sigh and says “Trump.”

[Insert dramatic background music here because it’s, well, Frank Luntz. What a doofus.]

2024 – The Backfire

Posted originally on the CTH on January 13, 2024 | Sundance

There are hundreds of emails that flow into the mail center of CTH daily.  Amid many of them we see this sentiment in various forms, generally as an outcome of a deep dive article that cannot be “pretended away.”

This is a very, very common refrain:

“I did not vote for Donald Trump in either of the other two US Presidential elections in which he ran. I will for him this year.

The choice, in this year’s US Presidential election, has been an easy one for me to make.

I’m not a supporter of Donald Trump.

I’m a defender of Donald Trump.

I have absolutely no doubt that I will vote next November 5th. I’ve no doubt that I will vote for Donald Trump. His opponents have been over the top (as Trump said accurately) in “weaponizing the justice system.” Undermining the electoral system, too, I might add.

And, while we’re added, let’s give some thought to the very most basic tenet of American justice: the presumption of innocence. It’s a little bit early in the nation’s decline to abandon that, isn’t it? Give it another 20 years, then sink that low.

I believe every American who knows anything at all about the nation’s foundational principles, and believes in those principles, should be a defender of Donald Trump.

Let him run. Let him win if he can. Denying him that opportunity is not a violation of his right to seek election; it’s a violation of the right of every voting American citizen whose choice for the Presidency is Donald Trump.  I just became one of them.”

President Donald J Trump – Iowa Caucus Guide

Full Iowa Caucus Guide Here

Current Polling:  Trump 52.4%, Haley 17.2%, DeSantis 12.6% and Ramaswamy 11.9%

BIG DATA – The Hawkeye State Poll finds Donald Trump holds a dominant lead just ahead of the Iowa Republican Caucuses, with support from caucus-goers above 50%. BIG DATA POLL was the first statewide survey to find the former president hitting the critical 50-percent threshold and first national survey to find support for former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley surpassing Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

Now, that “reshuffling of the bottom of the deck” nationally has translated into a statistical dead heat for second, third and fourth place in Iowa. With leaners, President Trump leads Ambassador Haley, Governor DeSantis and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, 52.4% to 17.2%, 12.6% and 11.9%, respectively. Since November, the frontrunner gained roughly a point, the ambassador rose 4.4 points from 12.8%, and Ramaswamy gained 6.5 points from 5.4%. Governor DeSantis slipped 4.2 points from 16.8%.

“President Trump has a seemingly insurmountable lead and three of his distant rivals are all close enough to each other that this has become a classic case of momentum versus organization,” BIG DATA POLL Director Rich Baris, said. “Ambassador Haley has momentum, albeit potentially fizzling, while Governor DeSantis has touted a superior organization.” (more)
