Mission Accomplished? U.S. Marine Corps Might Lower Combat Standards For Women

When you are only looking for a few as in elite troops few if any women can make the grade, that is a fact. By few I mean the top 5% of men which rules out almost all women. The reason being that they all smaller and do not have the upper body strength that men do sorry ladies but facts are facts and if it weren’t so there would not be so many abused women. I do not condone what some men do but it does seem to show that the ladies have a physical disadvantage in fight and being able to care large amounts of equipment. When I was in it was common to make a jump with over 100 pounds of equipment — being close to 200 pound that was 50% of my body weight. That would be 70% of body weight for a 140 pound woman and they can’t do it.

The first three women to successfully complete the Marine’s Combat Endurance Test (CET) have been asked to leave the rigorous, infantry officers training course for failing to meet the physical standards required.

The Christian Science Monitor has details on the three, trailblazing women:

They were physically disqualified from the training last week for falling behind in hikes while carrying loads of upwards of 100 pounds, says Maj. George Flynn, director of the Infantry Officers Course (IOC) at Quantico, Va.

Earlier this month, the women had successfully completed the Combat Endurance Test, the first hurdle Marines must pass to become infantry officers – the quintessential front-line combat job. That accomplishment qualified them for the remainder of infantry officer training, the IOC.

The Monitor points out that it wasn’t just these three women who failed, but three men also dropped out at the same stage.

But, according to an analysis done by the

Fair Warning: I am pissed off and, therefore, do not give a rat’s left testicle about hiding it. That being said, I am not going to waste my time cleverly disguising the “bad words” that pop up in my writing. If you don’t wish to read “bad words”, I suggest you do not read this post. God Bless America and my right to have a potty mouth if I so choose. 🙂

This is not another “excuse post” for why I haven’t written in so long. Hopefully, there are one or two readers left on my page. No explanation for the absence, really, except to say that I am overwhelmed with the level of stupidity going on in our country. (Yes, my MS black holes have been particularly annoying lately, but I bought enough asphalt to fill them in for a while.) It is so hard to concentrate on…

Constitution Check: Will the Supreme Court reinforce majority rule in Congress?

An interesting challenge could ensue!

deacon303's avatarWhiskey Tango Foxtrot

THE STATEMENT AT ISSUE:

“Whether the Constitution does or does not require majority rule [in Congress], and, if so, whether the cloture rule as practiced by the Senate does or does not violate this requirement, are questions that require, and furthermore deserve, substantive answers from the judiciary. The D.C. Circuit Court’s opinion, which threatens to deny the country such judicial answers for all time, cannot stand.”

– Excerpt from a legal brief filed this month in the Supreme Court by a group of constitutional law professors in a new case seeking to test the constitutionality of the current filibuster rule (Rule XXII) in the U.S. Senate, which basically requires the votes of 60 senators to pass any legislation that stirs any significant controversy. The professors joining in the brief said they disagreed about whether that rule was invalid, but did agree that the Supreme Court should settle the issue. The…

OBAMA’S AMNESTY PLAN WILL SCREW BLACKS AND HISPANICS: CIVIL RIGHTS COMMISSIONER

Obama does give a hoot about anything but “Fundamentally Changing the Country,” and which he said he would do hundreds of times. Left unsaid which no one bothering to ask is what he was changing us into; which is now very clear that he didn’t like a Constitutional republic and he wanted to change us into a governmental form much like what China has. A one party controlled central government with no “Constitutional” limits. In other words what used to be be called a Monarchy.

More than 1,400 Non-Citizens on NC Voting Rolls

Hey this is what the Progressives and George Soros want “Open Borders’ so as long as you are here during election time (longer is better you get to vote more times) you should be able to vote with no ID or restrictions.

A new audit has discovered over 1,400 registered voters on North Carolina’s voting rolls are likely not citizens of the United States.

The North Carolina State Board of Elections revealed Friday that it looked at data from the N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles and Department of Homeland Security and found that 1,425 are likely non-citizens and therefore ineligible to vote.

“We are working to ensure that no ballot cast by a non-citizen will count in this or any future election,” State Board of Elections Executive Director Kim Westbrook Strach said in a statement. “Our ongoing partnership with DMV strengthens the integrity of our elections process and security of the voter rolls.”

Of those non-citizens on the voting rolls, the State Board of Elections confirmed that 109 illegal immigrants who have been shielded from deportation and allowed to obtain work permits and drivers licenses through President Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood…

Details Of Government Spying/Hacking and Bugging Of Sharyl Attkisson Begin To Surface….

As a former US Army Captain and Greet Beret (WIA Nam ’67) I understand National Security better than most. My “expert” opinion (I have multiple degrees and studied political Philosophy) is that that the biggest threat to our constitution and our way of life is the uncontrolled spying on American citizens which were authorized by the Patriot Act and wording added in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). Edward Snowden was right in what he did to warn us and I consider him a Patriot for that act. What the NAS is doing is the biggest threat to our liberty that there is today not the ISIS or Ebola or a president that only play golf.

Benjamin Franklin is quoted as saying …

Those who would give up Essential Liberty
to purchase a little Temporary Safety,
deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.
