Sunday Talks – Steve Bannon Discusses His Thoughts to “Crush” Coronavirus…

Former White House advisor Steve Bannon appears on Fox News to discuss his thoughts on how to mitigate and eliminate Coronavirus from the United States.

Among Comrade Bannon’s proposals:  Shut down all inbound international air travel. Shut down all domestic air travel. Forced federal shut down all ports of entry, allowing only commerce. Initiate forced quarantine zones around major metropolitian areas keeping people from leaving.  A forced shut-down all vehicle travel on interstates, except supply chain transports. A federally enforced closing of states to cross border traffic. WATCH:

Yikes.  Civil liberties? Meh, details… details.

I’m just sharing information….

Steve Bannon was, perhaps still is, well regarded by many people; and formerly held a position of influence in the White House.

I cannot even fathom the totalitarian nature of what Bannon is suggesting.

What America would even re-emerge from that type of action?

Sunday Talks: FDA Commissioner Stephen Hahn Discusses Latest COVID-19 Mitigation Efforts…

Coronavirus task force member and FDA Commissioner, Stephen Hahn, appears on Fox News to discuss the latest U.S. effort to mitigate the threat of COVID-19.

Maria Bartiromo asks a great question about what the U.S. can do to reduce our national dependency on China for the manufacturing of critical healthcare products and medicines.  Dr Hahn explains the FDA role in that process and what intervention is possible by the U.S. government to mitigate that dependency.

.

One of the positive outcomes from this larger conversation is increased public pressure on government officials to support what President Donald Trump has been saying for years about bringing back critical manufacturing to the U.S.  Long before he was a politician President Trump was very public in saying this should be our number-one priority.

Donald Trump is exactly the right president for this moment in time.

PPE Shortage Forecast in Food Manufacturing – Additionally, Worlds Largest Retailer Limits Shoppers…

Two topics of interest to average people appear in headlines.  The first is a report the food manufacturing industry might run out of PPE; the second is a remarkable shift by WalMart for shoppers in a new response to COVID-19.

First, there’s a hyped-up report about the food manufacturing industry possibly facing a shortage of gloves and masks as the nationwide PPE shortage continues. [SEE HERE]

However, there is nothing to be alarmed about in that report.

“I want to assure you that our food supply chain is sound,” Sonny Perdue, the secretary of agriculture, said on March 20.

That, however, could change if the people who make, package and deliver food lack personal protective equipment, or PPE, including face masks and gloves, according to the internal document shared with Yahoo News. (Link)

The three common PPE needs in food processing are: (1) hair restraints; (2) masks, and (3) gloves.  All food manufacturing and processing is regulated and inspected by the FDA and USDA.  The issues of mask and glove shortages are not critical within the industry.  Under the current National Emergency guidelines the USDA can modify regulations to keep the food supply-chain flowing without any health risk at all.

Most industrial food production is automated now.  The human element is not as influential as it once was.  Additionally, due to their purpose, masks can be modified to any facial covering; it is more convenient, but not critical that particular masks be worn.

Gloves are not as important as hand washing, and any industrial food sanitation expert will tell you that gloves are mostly a public relations issue.  Frequent hand washing in food processing is far more valuable, even preferred, to the wearing of gloves.  Hair covering is not in short supply, and if that ever became critical there are alternate options possible with modified interim USDA guidelines.

The U.S. has the greatest food production safety standards in the world.  Food-borne illnesses are rarely an issue of manufacturing or processing.  90 percent of food-borne issues (ecoli) are related to fresh products (lettuce, potatoes, melons, row crops).  The processing issues of botulism, salmonella and listeria are very rare with modern strict protocols. It would be exceptionally rare, almost impossible, for a food-borne pathogen to come from a PPE issue.  Stunningly so.

Nothing related to PPE will interfere with the food safety of Americans; and no shortage of PPE would ever impede the food supply chain.  There are shortages of raw material and supplies that might be a problem; but PPE is not a critical component within industrial food supplies; and all PPE regulations can be modified easily to avoid disruption.

On the second report, it is actually quite remarkable to see WalMart, the world’s largest retailer, modify shopping rules with very deliberate limits on customer density:

WalMart – Starting Saturday, we will limit the number of customers who can be in a store at once. Stores will now allow no more than five customers for each 1,000 square feet at a given time, roughly 20 percent of a store’s capacity.

To manage this restriction, the associates at a store will mark a queue at a single-entry door (in most cases the Grocery entrance) and direct arriving customers there, where they will be admitted one-by-one and counted. Associates and signage will remind customers of the importance of social distancing while they’re waiting to enter a store – especially before it opens in the morning.

Once a store reaches its capacity, customers will be admitted inside on a “1-out-1-in” basis.  (read more)

The average WalMart Supercenter is 200,000 sq ft.  5 per 1,000/sq ft would mean a limit of 1,000 people at any one time total store.  The average WalMart Neighborhood store is 40,000 sq ft.  That would mean a limit of 200 people at any one time total store.

Big Picture– Most consumers are not aware total food consumption in the U.S. was a 60/40 proposition. Approximately 60% of all food was consumed “outside the home” (or food away from home), and 40% of all food consumed was food “inside the home” (traditional grocery shoppers).

Food ‘outside the home’ included: restaurants, fast-food locales, schools, corporate cafeterias, university lunchrooms, manufacturing cafeterias, hotels, food trucks, park and amusement food sellers and many more.  Many of those venues are not thought about when people evaluate the overall U.S. food delivery system; however, this network was approximately 60 percent of all food consumption on a daily basis.

The ‘food away from home‘ channel has its own supply chain.  Very few restaurants and venues (cited above) purchase food products from retail grocery outlets.   As a result of the coronavirus mitigation effort the ‘food away from home’ channel has been reduced by more than half of daily food delivery operations.  However, people still need to eat.

That means retail food outlets, grocers, are seeing sales increases of 25 to 50 percent, depending on the area.  This, along with some panic shopping, is the reason why supermarkets are overwhelmed and their supply chain is out of stock on many items.

There is enough food capacity in the overall food supply chain, and no-one should worry about the U.S. ever running out of the ability to feed itself.  However, the total food supply chain is based on two channels: food at home and food away from home.

The seismic shift toward ‘food at home‘ is what has caused the shortages, and that supply chain is not likely to recover full service of products again until the ‘food away from home’ sector gets back to normal.   No need to panic, but there will be long-term shortages.

There are going to be category driven empty shelves, and many varieties of items will remain out of stock.  Manufacturers are focusing on the top most-demanded items within their portfolios; they will not restart all varieties of products until production capacity on their top branded items drop to a manageable level.

Toilet paper is two sides of a slightly different product, commercial and consumer channels. Commercial TP demand is down 40% while consumer TP demand is up 40%. The TP you use at home is not the same as the stuff you used at the office, school, restaurant, public restroom etc. Both products manufactured differently; both packaged differently; both manufactured to fit different dispensing equipment.

Consumer (home use) TP sales now up 40% in demand. The industrial, big roll, individually wrapped, less appealing commercial TP not-so-much. That is likely why the lack of toilet tissue has remained for so long…  Similar for paper towels.  Who knew.

Big manufacturing soap and chemical users have also been challenged with the extreme demand for sanitary products. Hand soap, hand sanitizing, personal hygiene and also surface sanitizing products are beyond extreme demand. Here I would place a note of caution… Again, prioritization has to happen.

When given a choice between laundry/dish detergent and personal hygiene products we can expect the manufacturers will prioritize production of the latter first.

This *could* lead to a shortage in laundry and dish soaps. Just keep that in mind if you are seeing some of your favorite brands in those sectors missing.

Think of a massive segment within our economy that was already working near capacity…. now demand has increased 40% overall within that industry…. It’s incredible we have not seen more widespread shortages considering the scale of this increase.

Save the Western World By Booting Ambassador Birx off the Corona Virus Task Force, Mr. President

Save the Western World By Booting Ambassador Birx off the Corona Virus Task Force, Mr. PresidentFor nearly four years, nothing the globalists have been up to has ever gone over the head of their mortal enemy, President Donald Trump—not even once.

For the sake of the survival of the entire Western World, hope and pray that the staged living corona virus nightmare currently going on doesn’t go over the president’s head: It appears that the medical scientists leading the White House Task Force may be working toward a total reset of the world economy.

Mr. President: Doctor Deborah Birx is not just the scarf-adorned lady scientist politely duking it out with reporters at your daily Task Force pressers, she sits on the board of the Bill and Melinda Gates Global Fund and has since 2014.

The Global Fund has partnered with The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation since 2002 with a total financial contribution of $2.24 billion U.S.  Its current 2020-2022 financial pledge is $760-million.

“Ambassador-at-Large, Deborah L. Birx, M.D., is the Coordinator of the United States Government Activities to Combat HIV/AIDS and U.S. Special Representative for Global Health Diplomacy. Ambassador Birx is a world-renowned medical expert and leader in the field of HIV/AIDS. Her three-decade-long career has focused on HIV/AIDS immunology, vaccine research, and global health. As the U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator, Ambassador Birx oversees the implementation of the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), the largest commitment by any nation to combat a single disease in history, as well as all U.S. Government engagement with the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. Serving as the U.S. Special Representative for Global Health Diplomacy, she aligns the U.S. Government’s diplomacy with foreign assistance programs that address global health challenges and accelerate progress toward: achieving an AIDS-free generation; ending preventable child and maternal deaths; and preventing, detecting, and responding to infectious disease threats. DR. BIRX, GLOBAL FUNDScreenshot of Global Fund Website
Birx was appointed by President Barack Obama as America’s Ambassador at Large and U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator in April of 2014, and according to the WayBack Machine by May 20, 2014 was appointed to the board of The Global Fund.

Both mainstream and social media have patently ignored an April 2nd Gateway Pundit story written by Cristina Laila revealing that The IHME (Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation) model for the Coronavirus the White House is relying on is “complete garbage.”

‘It Predicted 121,000 Americans Hospitalized by yesterday; Actual Number…31,142’.  (Gateway Pundit, April 2, 2020).

“The US economy has been virtually shut down, unemployment spiked and small businesses are on the verge of shuttering based on faulty projections.

“The IHME model is using New York and New Jersey data and applying it to the rest of the US.

“It predicted that over 121,000 Americans would be hospitalized yesterday (Wednesday) over the Coronavirus, Sean Davis of The Federalist said.

“The actual number? 31,142.

“For example, the IHME model predicted 1,716 people in Texas would be hospitalized yesterday from the Coronavirus, but the actual number of Texans hospitalized is 196.

“In Georgia, the IHME model predicted that as of yesterday, 2,777 people would have been hospitalized due to the Coronavirus.

“The actual number of people hospitalized in Georgia? 952.

“In Virginia, the IHME model predicted that 607 Virginians would have been hospitalized as of yesterday due to the Coronavirus.

“The actual number? 305.

“In Tennessee, the IHME model predicted that 2,214 people in Tennessee would have been hospitalized by yesterday due to the Coronavirus.

“The actual number? 200.

“In New York, the IHME model predicted that as of yesterday, 50,962 people would have been hospitalized due to the Coronavirus.

“The actual number? 18,368.

“As of Wednesday there were over 200,000 confirmed Coronavirus cases in the US and approximately 4,400 deaths.

“Top White House officials scaled back their predictions and said between 100,000 and 200,000 Americans are projected to die from the Coronavirus.

“This is down from the 1.7 million American deaths predicted by a key UK scientist which sent the entire country into panic mode.

“Millions and millions of Americans are going to lose their jobs, their homes and their savings.

“These so-called “experts” owe the American public an explanation and not just ever-changing models to terrify the masses.”

“Numbers about COVID-19 victims are starting to add up to suspicion.” (Canada Free Press, April 3, 2020)

Looks like we’re all being had, Mr. President

Creepy how both Dr. Anthony Fauci and Bill Gates had some kind of crystal ball to see the arrival of COVID-19 on the watch of President Trump.

“WHOA! Dr. Fauci in 2017: President Trump Will Be Challenged By a “Surprise Global Disease Outbreak” (Gateway Pundit, April 3, 2019)

“Come again? Back in 2017 at forum on pandemic preparedness at Georgetown University, Dr. Fauci made an interesting statement. Fauci told the audience that the Trump administration would be “challenged by a “surprise global disease outbreak.”

Is this wishful thinking becomes reality?

Ditto for Bill Gates, who made the same prediction back in 2019. (Event 201)

Bill Gates also focuses on population control. (Bill Gates has a warning about population growth, Sept. 19, 2018)

“Asked about the best ways of tackling the growing population and poverty challenge, Gates said improving access to birth control was key”

Looks like we’re all being had, Mr. President.

Free the population from government house arrest as soon as possible and put a stop to the globalists’ attempted reset of the economy.

Send Americans back to work, and world governments will soon follow suit.

Do it for the people.

The Red Chinese Lied, Americans Died, and Americans Prayed

Many Americans are praying now more than ever. They are praying for their president

The Red Chinese Lied, Americans Died, and Americans Prayed

When FDR waged World War II, he could mobilize the entire country. President Trump faces an assortment of enemies, here and abroad. These include China, source of the virus; Russia, which is driving American oil producers out of business through overproduction of cheap oil; a toxic anti-American media culture; and a Democratic Party that wants to undermine Trump through investigations and make him (and the country) fail.

Another factor is that FDR could mobilize American industrial power. We are now learning that much of that power was outsourced to China. It is sad and tragic that the once-great United States made decisions over the course of the last 40 years that facilitated the build-up of China into an industrial and economic superpower. Henry Kissinger began the policy of appeasing China and it was implemented through its ascension to the World Trade Organization. China became a Frankenstein monster devouring the world.

China virus was revenge for Trump’s tariffs on Chinese goods

Coming into office, Trump recognized this problem and sought through various policies to rectify the situation. As I see it, the China virus was revenge for Trump’s tariffs on Chinese goods. Otherwise, China and its handmaidens in the World Health Organization would have quickly alerted the world to the nature of this beast. They lied and Americans died.

Although opinions differ, the consensus of the various medical experts is that this is a highly contagious disease, with symptoms in severe cases much worse than the flu, lung damage worse than the flu, and a death rate overall that may be much worse than seasonal flu.

President Trump had no alternative but to defer to these authorities. But he has to suspect, based on its contagious and deadly nature, that the virus may have been engineered. China has a bioweapons program that has been documented by such authorities as former Soviet scientist Ken Alibek and analyst Eric Croddy. Nobody with a serious mind assumes it was just a coincidence that the virus came out of a region with a Chinese lab conducting secret research.

Our enemies seem to have us where they want us – our people are dying and the economy is collapsing. China is betting that it will come out on top of the world. Then, the old Sino/Soviet split will be exposed as another great deception. Russia will dominate the oil markets and have Europe under its control.

In the middle of all of this, President Trump is attempting to rally the nation. He is stuck with a medical bureaucracy that relied on China for misinformation about the virus and a media that plays gotcha at daily press briefings. He understands the gravity of the situation but is obviously limited by what he can say publicly about the threat. As I argued in a recent column, the invisible enemy has a name.

Difficult path of safeguarding America’s survival

To his credit, Trump has broken with the “experts” to facilitate public access to various alternative drugs and treatments. This could be the development that helps America turn the corner in the weeks ahead.

While FDR could rally the nation into war production for the United States military, which was deployed abroad, today’s threat is so great that the military is being diverted into domestic uses and purposes. America’s military and National Guard are building hospitals and taking care of patients. Meanwhile, Navy ships are being infected with the virus and the Pentagon is warning that the spread of the virus could affect U.S. military readiness and our ability to deter our enemies from further strikes.

This is yet another problem that Trump has to take into account as he navigates the difficult path of safeguarding America’s survival.

At the same time, the globalists opposed to his election and candidacy are continuing the drumbeat of opposing the only way—through America-first policies – that we have of escaping the morass we found ourselves in.

Consider that the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) journal Foreign Affairs has published another anti-Trump article, “‘America First’ Is a Dangerous Fantasy in a Pandemic: Foreign Aid and Global Leadership Will Be Integral to Any Solution,” which endorses the same mistakes that got us into this mess in the first place. The article is by former Obama official Philip H. Gordon.

China is directly implicated in the genocide

The use of a CFR publication to attack Trump is not unexpected. This is the organization that boasted Soviet spy Alger Hiss, a founder of the United Nations, as a prominent member.

This article ignores China’s lies, as well as the fact that the World Health Organization told the world on January 14 that the virus could not be transmitted between people. On January 21, relying on Chinese and WHO’s data, Dr. Anthony Fauci told TV host Greg Kelly that “this is not a major threat for the people of the United States. And this is not something that the citizens of the United States right now should be worried about.” Dr. Deborah Birx admits China gave the U.S. “incomplete data” about the virus. That’s a polite way of saying the Red Chinese lied so Americans died.

In the face of this mass murder, socialist U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres demands a “global cease fire,” adding, “The virus does not care about nationality or ethnicity, faction or faith. It attacks all, relentlessly.” But China is directly implicated in the genocide.

Former Obama officials are ignoring the role of China in this worldwide meltdown for an obvious reason: Barack Hussein Obama was an acolyte of global Marxism and actually met with Chinese dictator Xi in November 2017 during a meeting described by the British Guardian as a chat between two “veteran cadres.” They were “all smiles.”

A Russian media organ took note as well, saying the term “veteran cadres” is “generally used to refer to retired Chinese Communist Party officials.” It was a tip-off that Obama was serving the communist cause all the time he was serving as president of the United States.

It’s the case we were making in our three books on Obama, including Red Star Rising: The Making of Barack Hussein Obama and the Transformation of America.

Trump is facing a difficult fight that is made worse by the actions of publicity-seeking governors who complain about delivery of supplies while closing churches and keeping abortion clinics, liquor stores, and pot shops open.

The only thing worse is the conduct of certain reporters at the daily press briefings, as they attempt to bring down a president trying hard to save lives.

Whatever executive orders may remain in place, the people of the various states are not going to wait long to return in numbers to the closed churches, even risking their lives in a desperate attempt to appeal to God to save their nation. Many Americans are praying now more than ever. They are praying for their president.

COVID-19: A Portrait of Power

Politicians, COVID-19, Media: Who controls the real power in society?

Mark Gray image

COVID-19: A Portrait of PowerThere is no doubt that the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the world and we likely won’t be going back to the way things were once we’re through the crisis.

Non-essential businesses have closed, or been forced to close, imperilling the economic health of the businesses and their employees. Usually busy streets are empty. Travellers and people showing any cold or flu like symptoms are expected to self-isolate and stay indoors for weeks, thereby reaping all the health benefits of stir-crazy. Masks have become the latest fashion trend and it’s surprising there aren’t more with pretty patterns. It’s now a sign of virtue to practice social distancing by respecting the magic six-foot rule.

COVID-19 pandemic has changed the world

There is no doubt that the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the world and we likely won’t be going back to the way things were once we’re through the crisis.

Some big stores are managing customer traffic with lineups, both outside to get in and inside for access to the coolers. To ensure our safety, we’re aided by lines taped onto the floor, helpfully marking the appropriate social distance guidelines. Of course, people headed elsewhere can walk closely past the stacked shopper’s margin of safety, which logic says needs to be a circle with a six-foot radius and a time delay so any deadly airborne virus perishes before you’re commanded to move into it.  But hey, stay behind that line and stay safe!

Yes, yes, COVID-19 is highly contagious and it’s prudent to take preventative measures, just as it always has been with the flu and colds, but we don’t shut down the planet for those maladies. So, is this strain of coronavirus so deadly, its mortality rate so high, that we need to destroy the world economy to save it?

Who Controls The Power Of Fear?

Fear is obviously a great motivator, but who wields the power of fear, and is it being used as a weapon rather than a warning? What or who is responsible for the extraordinary level of fear that’s panicked society to the point where we’ve completely upended our way of life, and at costs yet not known?

The top three “Power of Fear” contenders in the COVID-19 panic-demic are politiciansCOVID-19, and the media. Let’s review their qualifications.

Politicians

Did fear spread because politicians stood and sounded the alarm? Well, no. Fear came first, essentially “forcing” politicians to do something, and act they did. Our world has been shut down while government spending has skyrocketed. The caring need to protect us from the ravages of COVID-19 demand the exorbitant spending, expected social distancing, enforced self-isolation and the shuttering of non-essential businesses. Societal safety is paramount, after all, and we’ll just have to happily, or sheepishly, accept the resulting chaos, costs, and consequences regardless of their effect on our lives. Any price will be paid—but our political leaders are following the fear, not leading it.

COVID-19

How about the coronavirus, is COVID-19 to blame for the unbelievable fear sweeping the planet that is driving immense social change? The short answer is no, not really. Would we truly be in such a terrified panic without being constantly reminded of its murderous potential? Only if it truly did kill in excessive numbers.

As the world deals with this crisis, the more robust our understanding of COVID-19’s transmission and mortality rates. Our body of knowledge regarding treatments such as Hydroxychloroquine continues to expand and faster, more accurate tests are being administered to help gauge its spread. In addition, private industry has stepped up to either transport equipment or retool facilities to manufacture some.

Rush Limbaugh recently provided some much-needed perspective for his listeners by sharing information compiled by worldometers. (check their credibility claims at the link)

These numbers reflect worldwide causes of death between January 1st through March 25th,2020.

Cause of Death Number of Deaths
Coronavirus 21,000
Seasonal Flu 113,000
Malaria 228,000
Suicide 249,000
Traffic fatalities 313,000
HIV/AIDS 391,000
Alcohol related 581,000
Smoking related 1,162,000
Cancer 1,909,000
Starvation 2,382,000
Abortion 9,900,000

This isn’t to say we should ignore the threat of coronavirus, but it does suggest that our collective fear is way out of proportion to the immediate threat.

Dr. Stephen Smith, founder of The Smith Center for Infectious Diseases and Urban Health, told Laura Ingraham in a Fox news interview that none of the 72 patients he treated with a regimen of hydroxychloroquine and azxithromycin for five days or more need intubation.  These numbers are so exceedingly positive that Dr. Smith believes “this is the beginning of the end of the pandemic”.

Moreover, it’s understood that those who have survived the disease are no longer at risk of catching or spreading it. Plus, society will automatically become less fearful as news of treatment success grows, additional medications are tested, and vaccines are developed.

As fear subsides, calls to end the shutdown are certain to follow, and quickly, because society doesn’t perform well while mired in fear and isolation.

As neither politicians nor COVID-19 itself hold the “Power Of Fear”, the championship title goes to the media, and as they hold the power, they are entirely responsible for the frightening level of panic that has pushed people to beg for political salvation. The media wields incredible power to move society and isn’t afraid to use it, which is why we need them to be honest and accurate.

What Can Be Determined Right Now?

The media is the root cause of our panic and subsequent economic shutdown. Several conclusions can be immediately drawn without regard to media motivation.

  1. The media is instrumental in setting the direction of the country.
  2. The media hyped, and continue to hype, the most terrifying model numbers.
  3. Societal fear was generated by the reporting of modelled, or predicted, death counts. Now, actual death counts are continuously reported to keep the fear pump primed.
  4. The similarity to the Global Warming crisis is unmistakable, as the media pushed the worst predictions of “what if” modelling claims, many which have already been proven false, such as the loss of ice in Canada’s Northwest Passage.
  5. The media have continually downplayed the possible effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine treatments which indicates a desire to keep fear levels elevated.
  6. The consequences from the economic shutdown are real and are causing severe distress to businesses and individuals. Economic devastation from the shutdown was inevitable, and predictable. Again, the similarity between the impact to Alberta of the government’s war on “global warming” to the impact to all of Canada (and the US) in the war on coronavirus is evident and extremely relevant.
  7. The detrimental effect on society and the devastating economic stress caused by the over-hyped panic is a direct indicator of the media’s true level of concern for the people.

This last point cannot be overstated. The media insist on pushing the most severe numbers in both the Climate and COVID-19 stories knowing full well that the economic consequences to citizens will be dire. They don’t do it just because they can, hopefully. Regardless of the reason, it must be more important to them than any harm that comes from it. This makes it imperative to ask yourself why their scripted narrative takes precedence over your actual well being.

Furthermore, do you know who doesn’t lose their job due to these government imposed economic shutdowns? That’s right, the media.

What Comes Next?

There is no longer any doubt about the media’s strength and ability to drive society in whatever direction they desire. The country’s shutdown is a testament to the immensity of their power. We’re looking at real, unadulterated, and considering their actions, abusive power.

When the crisis ends, as it must, we will have a much better idea as to transmission rates, mortality rates, cure rates and economic cost. If the media is proven to have overhyped the threat, then the consequences are on them and no one else. It also proves that we trust the untrustworthy at great peril.

Friends don’t cause friends ruinous economic harm as the media has done to us with respect to both global warming and COVID-19 unless the data is overwhelmingly certain and the consequences obviously grim. Fake news has real, and often devastating, consequences so when an agenda other than accuracy and truth is at play, it is the equivalent of false advertising. Just like any other business lying to the public, the media should face accountability for their disrespectful betrayal of consumer trust.

When the media “guide” beliefs without regard to truth then the most important thing we can do for ourselves and our fellow citizens is to reject those deceitful sources. Totally, completely, and immediately because they are wholly unworthy of your mind and a danger to us all.

One great thing about the internet is the ability to bypass filtered news and go directly to the source, such as President Trump’s twitter feed which allows him to speak directly to the people

Getting his message out in his own words has been instrumental in his political success because his comments aren’t being interpreted, manipulated, or mischaracterized by those who hate him before being deceitfully presented to the public.

If they lie, say goodbye. For the children.
