Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy Says CDC Quarantine Change to Negative Test for Exit Likely to Happen Soon

I’ll get into a little detail about why this CDC change, if implemented, will only speed up the economic crisis we are about to enter.  [However, don’t share that aspect with anyone other than those closest to you.]  First, the change being discussed…

Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, the husband of a very sketchy Chinese communist party shadow official that no one ever discusses, told CNN today the CDC is likely to revise the quarantine guidance to include a negative test for COVID before exit.

(Via Daily Mail) – The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is expected to further change its recommendations for Americans diagnosed with COVID-19, potentially requiring a negative test to leave isolation before ten days.

Last week, the agency shortened its recommended isolation period from 10 days to five days for people who have minimal Covid symptoms. The move drew criticism from experts who said a negative test should’ve been included.

Surgeon General Dr Vivek Murthy said that the CDC is working to further revise the isolation guidance, telling CNN on Tuesday that he expects a clarification ‘any day now.’

‘What they’re trying to do – and it’s important to say more broadly – is recognize and incorporate both the evolving science on Omicron and on prior variants in terms of how long somebody remains contagious, with the critical need to maintain essential services,’ Murthy told CNN.

‘I believe that there will be a role for antigen testing here to help reduce risk as well,’ he said. The further-updated guidance could impact millions of Americans, as the country reports record case numbers during the Omicron surge. (read more)

Here’s why this is going to be exponentially more problematic ,and be cautious who you tell about this.

First, imagine the impact to the U.S. industrial and service economy when workers who have ordinary colds and sniffles are now taking five days off work, and cannot come back until they test negative for the cold/flu virus.   That’s what the CDC was trying to avoid when the original guidance was modified.

If essential workers with ordinary sniffles, sneezes, coughs, stuffy-heads and general aches and pains do not come to work because these are Omicron symptoms, the U.S. economy is going to be in staggeringly big trouble at a macro and micro level.

Add to that an inflated and ‘blown out of proportion‘ reaction to the seasonal cold with a demand for a negative test, and there are limited to zero tests readily available, and it is not hard to see what happens to business operations throughout the country.  Already existing shortages of workers, products and services only gets worse…. exponentially worse.

Production stops.  Manufacturing slows…  end products get less.  Transporation, warehousing and distribution (the logistics aspect) gets hit with the boxcar effect again.  Quickly, store shelves get bare, and products become scarce.   The supply chain issues that already exist only get worse, much worse.

Some businesses then have to close.  Those employees that could work, then can’t.  The downstream consequence from a disrupted workforce will make the supply chain issues of 2020 look like a mere hiccup compared to what’s coming.

Food distribution is a complex system of logistics, warehousing, transportation, delivery and preparation.   There are two macro sectors: “food at home” (grocery stores etc), and “food away from home” (restaurants etc.)  In 2020, the country learned how interconnected the supply chain is when 50% of the possible food distribution (restaurants, cafeterias etc) was turned off.

Within days of turning off restaurants, the other side of the food supply chain was overwhelmed, and that shock to the system lasted for several months.   Most people don’t know that the supply chain is still dealing with the downstream consequences.  Grain silos were wiped out as manufacturers demanded more raw material to process.  Ingredients like citric acid, flavorings, and preservatives have still not recovered (go look for flavored sports drinks).

Pet food manufacturers were lowered in priority for distribution of raw material, and that raw material comes at a much higher price.  The pet food sector is still less than 50% recovered from where it was before the restaurants were shut down in early 2020.  That’s how long this impact has lasted.

People just do not know how the U.S. food supply system operates on massive storage systems for bulk products to smooth out the seasonal fluctuations for food commodities.   It is a very complex system to deliver fresh products (produce, fish, meats) and simultaneously organize, store and distribute, the raw materials for things like flour, bread, cereals, soups, and frozen foods.

Trust me, if everyone decided to eat only fresh foods starting tomorrow, there would be fist fights in the supermarket, because there’s not enough of that fresh stuff to feed all of America.  We need, heck we rely upon, processed foods, manufactured foods, shelf stable and refrigerated/frozen stable foods, in order to fulfill the total caloric needs of 350,000,000 people.

This grocery store supply chain has never recovered from the mistake of closing 50% of food distribution in 2020.  CTH warned at the time what would happen, and it did.  We then watched the predictable five phases of impact show up.

If you remember the shortages of products and services in 2020, you have a baseline for what is about to happen in two weeks.  This next round is going to be worse.  Last year’s grain harvest is already almost gone.  Most of the next round of harvests cannot start for months.  The food storage our supply chain depends upon to smooth out seasonality is nearly exhausted, and the inbound prices show the scarcity.

It’s not one thing; it’s a multitude of things.  However, add on top of that a major employment disruption with quarantines and tests, and, well, you can see where this is heading.   The service sectors like hospitality, hotels, restaurants and home services will be stretched very thin.

Prepare for your family accordingly.

Secure yourselves for coming shortages.  Don’t forget your pets.  The window to be ahead of the zombie swarm is now down to around 15 days.

The CDC updated their COVID tracker data today [SEE HERE].  According to the CDC yesterday there were 828,417 new cases.

Apparently, the Biden administration cannot get their arms around it… COVID is turning from a political opportunity into a political liability.

Trudeau Dehumanizes the Unvaccinated Population

Armstrong Economics Blog/Tyranny Re-Posted Jan 4, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has chosen to completely dehumanize those who are failing to comply with the agenda. After explaining his disgust for those who have not taken the mRNA vaccine, Trudeau declared that these people are “often racist and misogynistic extremists.”

Is this you, Mr. Trudeau?

His hatred for the unvaccinated reached a horrifying height when he questioned whether Canada should “tolerate these people” any longer. He no longer views them as his fellow man but as a hated enemy. The man responsible for leading the nation continued by saying that “a small group of the population” was essentially “taking up space.” Trudeau blurted out what many world leaders wish they could say – the war against the unvaccinated is on.

Comparisons to Nazi Germany are frequent and often exaggerated examples, but what Trudeau is saying aligns with the Nazi propaganda to dehumanize Jews to transform them into something sub-human in the public eye. The pandemic would be over if not for the unvaccinated, or as they lied in Nazi Germany, the economy would be better if not for the Jews.

“The goal of Nazi propaganda was to demonize Jews and to create a climate of hostility and indifference toward their plight,” the United States Holocaust Museum cited. Although they are not exterminating the unvaccinated, governments around the world have ruled that people who are unvaccinated can no longer be a part of society. The “small group of the population” that is “taking up space” can no longer travel, visit public places, or start or maintain a successful small business.

The United States Holocaust Museum created the following video that discusses the horrors of how Jews went “From Citizens to Outcasts”:

Did You Have Omicron Over Christmas?

Armstrong Economics Blog/Disease Re-Posted Jan 4, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

Comment: The wife and I came down with om-moron-icron over Christmas, kids were fine. The family acted like it was a death sentence as we are a no vaccine home. Brother who lives three states south thought we were irresponsible for not having the shot and lectured me all year. Low and behold he and his family also came down with omicron. Everyone was sick but it was like having a flu and EVERYONE WAS FINE. My brother had to catch covid to believe me after all.

ReplyI have heard countless stories similar to yours. We are in the midst of flu season as well, despite that being shrouded in secrecy as if this isn’t the time of year that people cyclically fall ill. I personally know numerous people and households who contracted the new variant over the holiday season. Yes, many were vaccinated like your brother. But, as you noted, they were completely fine after a week or so. I understand people have died of COVID, but people also die from the flu and other viral infections too.

Omicron seems to be more contagious but less severe than other strains, and that was not a factor that the powers that be considered. More and more people are directly contracting COVID, surviving, and realizing, “Hey, that wasn’t so bad!” Additionally, now they have antibodies that are far superior to the vaccine. If they didn’t before, people will now realize that shutting down the world was utterly unnecessary. “Why did I willingly stay home for months, pull my kids out of school, shut down my small business, ruin my finances, subject myself to an unknown vaccine?” The list of questions is bound to appear in anyone’s mind who is still capable of critical thinking. Once the cognitive dissonance passes, people will be enraged that they lost years of their life for no valid reason

Mortgage Lenders Provided a Record $1.61 Trillion in 2021

Armstrong Economics Blog/Real Estate Re-Posted Jan 4, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

The post-pandemic real estate frenzy led to mortgage lenders issuing more money last year than ever before. According to records, mortgage lenders in the US issued $1.6 trillion in purchase loans in 2021, an increase from $1.48 trillion in 2020. The only time mortgage loans came close to this level was in 2005, when lenders issued $1.51 trillion in loans.

Refinances declined to $2.3 trillion in 2021 from $2.6 trillion in 2020. Total originations also fell from their 2020 peak of $4.1 trillion to $3.9 trillion, with many homeowners already taking advantage of low rates. The markets are anticipating three rate hikes from the Federal Reserve this year, which would cause an increase in mortgage rates.

Mortgages are low, but home prices are at an all-time high as demand has not waned. The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta notes that mortgages are now less affordable relative to income than any period since 2008 during the subprime mortgage crisis. Home prices typically stay in line with inflation, but the 18.4% annual increase in average home prices recorded this past October shows that the market is indeed inflated.

New York Science Teacher Vaccinates Son’s Friend, Without Parents’ Consent, During Visit to Her House

This is a wild story.  A New York high school science teacher named Laura Parker Russo vaccinated the friend of her son during a visit to their house.  The kids’ parents did not give permission and had no idea about it until he came home and told them.  No one knows how the teacher got vials of the J&J vaccine and/or if there is only one victim.

What is it about unstable people being drawn to the teaching profession?  The Daily Mail has video of the event.  Mrs. Laura Parker Russo has been arrested.  Can you even fathom the mindset of a person who would do this?

(Via Daily Mail) – […] Footage made public Monday shows Laura Parker Russo, 54, cleaning the unidentified teen’s skin as she prepared to administer a dose of the J&J vaccine into his right arm. As Russo smiles, the teen can be heard saying: ‘There you go, at-home vaccine,’ in the video obtained by NBC New York.

The outlet reported the vaccine being the Johnson and Johnson brand, which is only recommended for adults. She stuck the needle into the boy’s arm on New Year’s Eve, police said. The vaccine was authentic, but it is unclear how Parker Russo – who has no medical qualifications – obtained it, and cops are now investigating the matter.

Russo, a Herricks High School biology teacher according to an online bio, was arrested and charged after the teen returned home and told his mother about the shot, according to the Nassau County Police Department.

‘The mother had not given permission or authority to have her son injected with a Covid vaccine and called police,’ a department press release said. (read more)

Can you imagine your 17-year-old son or daughter coming home from a friend’s house and saying, “Oh, by the way, Billy’s mom vaccinated me today“… wait, wha?   What kind of person would even think this would be remotely okay to just start vaccinating random kids, friends of your kids, without consent of their parents?   This is beyond nuts…

And this is the mindset of people who could be reasoned with?

Tennis Star Claims He Tested Positive for COVID 250 Times

The sports industry has long suffered at the hands of pandemic restrictions amid stadium closures, quarantines, and formerly healthy athletes dying after taking the vaccine. Despite numerous leagues throughout the world being fully vaccinated, cases of new athletes contracting COVID appear in the news daily. Tennis star Benoit Paire took to Instagram to announce he tested positive for COVID “for the 250th time.” While that may be hyperbolic, his sentiments resonate with many.

“Honestly I can’t deal with this Covid s*** anymore. How am I doing? Because of Covid I got a runny nose, but because of all these quarantines spent in a hotel room halfway across the world, I don’t feel good mentally… Last year was tough, and this year starts exactly the same way!!” As many can relate, the psychological effects of COVID restrictions have wreacked more havoc than the actual virus.

“Just one thing, I’m 100% for the vaccine, but let’s just live as before Covid, otherwise I don’t see the point,” Paire added. Perfect summarization – what’s the point? What is the point of forcing the world to adhere to mRNA vaccines, mask mandates, lockdowns, quarantines, travel bans, mass unemployment, and more if there is NO PLAN TO RETURN TO NORMAL? Make it make sense.

Neil Oliver Highlights the Ruling Class Elitist Disconnect Using Robert Malone and Tony Blair

Immediately following the scenes today in Amsterdam, this seems like a very appropriate place to put the latest remarks on the situation by Neil Oliver.

As the financially controlled GBN professional pundits walk the tightrope between their very visible ideological support for the elitist oppression, and yet tender offerings for an audience thirsting for the freedom message, the stenographers across the pond ask Neil Oliver for his perspectives as we head into the New Year.

Neil Oliver, standing firmly upon the position of the righteous, is forced to play pretend with the pundits in order to broadcast his message.  Yes, the independent and overwhelming majority of significant voices in the rebel alliance have to make these decisions.  It is what it is…. but the message is well transmitted regardless.  WATCH:

Neil Oliver knows the subtle skills it takes to move the Overton window from the perspective of the ‘right side of history.’  His comments about forced and coerced isolation as a criminal act are not only true, but also well received and well-articulated.

The ruling class, fraught with ever growing fear, has crossed into the Rubicon of lawlessness.  I agree with Oliver that overall, this will lead to a good outcome.  The line of acceptance is different for all people.   We need the forces driving that line to move rapidly in order to assemble the largest army possible.

Unfortunately, we are in an era where we see how weak many of our brothers and sisters have become as the era of dependency, example: “We are the world” collectivism, has rotted the spirit of aggressive individualism.

We are simultaneously trying to move the fulcrum bubble for characteristics like laziness, complacency, guilt and shame.  That type of effort can take a generation, because we were lazy about it before.  We rolled our eyes, dispatched the politically correct, and allowed the indoctrination machinery of education, culture and public policy to shape the landscape.  Now, now we see the longer-term consequences.

On the positive side, the rebel alliance is growing daily.  It takes moments of great consequence to overcome generational complacency.  That is the opportunity we are being given with COVID-19 and the government exploitation of it.

The hidden totalitarian nature of government and ruling class is being revealed, this is a good development for those who were trying desperately to get people to see it before.

I too am optimistic, like the moment in the battle when the disproportionate brutality becomes visible, and the tides change in favor of victim.  The cheers around the colosseum do not have to start out supporting the gladiators in order for the gladiator to ultimately become victorious.  Indeed, any gladiator worth his salt knows the primary goal is to change the chant and instill fear in one gilded chair.

The need for control is a reaction to fear.  Extreme measures to retain control are reactions to equally extreme senses of fear.

All around the world, right now, there are mini dictators tenuously clinging to power and trying to control a much larger mob.  They have multitudes of advisors helping them, they have financial resources, and they have enforcers. However, just as Gaius Julius Caesar lost control with the entire Roman army around him, so too are these dictators and totalitarians subjects to a much larger citizenry.

Squeeze harder…. Please, squeeze harder.

As fast as possible, we need to get to the point where we are finally going to deal with them.  Simultaneously, they are trying to avoid being dealt with.  Squeeze harder, says the slave gladiator as others surface to join the fight.  Squeeze harder.

This will not end well for the ruling class.  So, let’s get on with it

Squeeze harder…

Amsterdam COVID Compliance Police Release the Attack Dogs on Protesting Groups, Literally

Previously the police in Melbourne, Australia, held the record as being the most violent anti-protesting enforcement mechanism of a totalitarian state, using tanks, tear gas and rubber bullets to wage war against their citizens. However, today the police in Amsterdam said, ‘hold my beer‘ and went one step further.

Massive anti-lockdown demonstrations in Amsterdam turned into real violence with protesters mauled by police dogs and beaten with batons in the streets.  The COVID compliance police went to extraordinary lengths to be physically violent as noted in the videos from the protest. WATCH:

Another video shows just how massive this crowd was; and, at any given moment, if this crowd REALLY wanted to turn the tables on the police and put blood on the streets, it would have been entirely possible.

Sunday Talks, Is It Omicron Creating Societal Disruption via Staffing Shortages, or Are Companies Missing the Unvaccinated?

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on January 2, 2022 | Sundance | 256 Comments

An interesting question surfaces as the vaccine mandate is enforced.  Is it the Omicron variant creating the labor shortages leading to “societal disruption,” or is it the absence of the unvaccinated workers who have been removed from many companies?

In this segment, Dana Bash asks the chief White House political scientist if the nation should prepare for major societal disruption under the guise of Omicron.   As we have previously noted, the absence of a small number of highly efficient and productive employees, the vital few, can have a major impact on business operations (Pareto’s principle).  Is that what we are really seeing, and they don’t want to admit it?

It does not seem coincidental the specific areas cited by Fauci, police, fire and first responders, are the exact jobs where the vaccination mandate was the most controversial.  Additionally, the percentages he cites are very similar to the unvaccinated percentage previously reported in those work groups.

A data driven Suspicious Cat remains, well, increasingly suspicious.

You decide…

Airline cancellations today, again exceeding 4,000 [FlightAware Link]

It may be an uncomfortable or politically incorrect thing to say in modern times; however, twenty percent of the workers in your system of employment deliver eighty percent of the productivity. Yes, 20% of the workforce around you delivers 80% of the result. This natural truth has been consistent for decades, and within that truism is the nature of man – found in the Pareto Law.

What you need to remember is… if you are reading this, YOU are almost certain to be part of that twenty percentile that your employer or system operator depends on. You are a doer.

You are likely one of the top performers at your job.

You are the person they rely upon.

YOU are the most critical worker in a system that is mostly comprised of less productive people – and that fundamental truth is the important part to remember when you consider the impact of noncompliance with the vaccine mandate.

If doers do not perform their function, it is not the same as the generic Sally Smith not showing up to work. The twenty percent of the workforce that are doers produce eighty percent of the result. Ask any leader within any large organization or operation, and they will affirm this basic truth.

Doers are smart, they are beyond average in intelligence, and once they understand the mission objective, they will solve problems independently. Doers are not sheep. They are smart enough to do independent research and become well skilled and knowledgeable on any issue that is elevated in importance.

Doers don’t just dive into a project without thinking. They control their enthusiasm long enough to formulate wise objectives and figure out a production plan in order to succeed in whatever they’re set to do. Doers give themselves enough time to think and plan, but they don’t stand around debating, they SOLVE.

Doers challenge the status quo looking for ways to improve their task efficiency. Doers do not skimp on quality despite their drive to accomplish tasks. Though they thrive on increased productivity, and enjoy seeing improvements quantified, doers make sure to retain and improve standards for quality.

Doers are self-motivated. They look forward to working hard, and they keep an internal score on their own accomplishments. Doers are proficient at their tasks, and they have an exceptional work ethic. They fuel their internal drive by setting more and more challenging goals for themselves and seek continuous improvement.

Doers don’t sit around waiting for someone to tell them what to do. Doers accomplish goals and objectives with a speed and efficiency that is often annoying for those who do need to be told what to do. Doers tend to move on quickly to the next task at hand right after they finish their last one. However, doers also appreciate pausing to review their success, and they enjoy watching reasonable celebration for achievement – but they don’t dwell on it, they self-motivate to the next goal.

These traits likely sound familiar to you because YOU are a doer. YOU are part of the critical 20 percent of the larger group who accomplish 80 percent of the work. So, when you contemplate that only 20% of the workforce may stand resolute in their independent thoughts for not accepting a forced medical intervention as a condition for employment; remember, that twenty percent are the most critical of critical workers.

That 20% of independent, self-motivated, exceptionally productive – perhaps to a fault at times, workforce is the backbone of any operation, institution, system or workplace. Those who own or manage the workplace know exactly who that 20% are, and they will not want to lose the doers.

The employers and managers will not want to lose the doers, because they know the doers are the ones who can keep hundreds of plates spinning on sticks without being told which plate is wobbling, and which plate needs attention. Those who are in charge of keeping the plates spinning know the system will collapse if they are only left with plate spinners who need to be told which stick needs attention. The bosses know they will exhaust themselves having to give constant direction to the non-doers.

You are not crazy.

You are a doer.

YOU are critical.

In my opinion, this explains what the corporate executives knew, those who requested the change from the CDC, and why they made their request(s).  This fundamental point -and outcome- is an admission the political leftists in government, politics and media need to avoid.

This is why the CDC changes seem irreconcilable when contrast against over a year of false “public health” claims.
