Bygones Be Bygones – Very Interesting Day Amid Republicans on Capitol Hill as Magnamimous Trump Visits

Posted originally on the CTH onJune 13, 2024 | Sundance

A very interesting day is described by everyone in Washington DC, as President Trump strategically attends both House and Senate Republican conferences.   Magnanimous Trump arrived to heal wounds, appeal for unity and build a larger support network ahead of the Republican National Convention.

It would appear the Dr. Phil approach was attempted as promised.  According to media reports, in the upper chamber President Trump even spoke warmly with Republican Leader Mitch McConnell and the 16 Wall Street DeceptiCons who are insistent upon his permanent removal from politics.

(Politico) – “Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and former President Donald Trump set aside their years-long cold war during a private meeting with Republicans Thursday, a gathering McConnell described as “really positive.” (more)

Not surprisingly, Senator Rand Paul refused to endorse President Trump, preferring to talk positively about Robert Kennedy Jr. so far.

Factually, regardless of what any of them say, the Brutus delegation within the Senate will be sharpening their scorpion tails quietly and wait for the most vulnerable opportunity to strike. All sixteen DeceptiCons, soon to be led in 2025 by Senator John Thune, will sting viciously and simultaneously. This is the one political constant in an ever-changing universe.

[…] Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) said Trump’s message was “all positive” when talking to the conference and centered on keeping Republicans unified headed into the fall elections. Tuberville sat next to Trump antagonist Romney (R-Utah) but said the former president didn’t take aim at the senators who have not endorsed him — nor did they criticize him.

“I haven’t seen that Republican group as strongly united on all of those policy issues in a long, long time,” Rounds said. (read more)

It does not matter how much President Trump appeals to their best nature; the sixteen Republican DeceptiCon senators hate him with the intensity of a white-hot supernova.  They want to see President Trump destroyed by any means necessary, and John Thune has promised them he can deliver.

Over on the House side, Magnanimous Trump even tried to smooth things over with the two remaining Republican representatives who voted to impeach him.

(POLITICO) – […] Donald Trump made a small peace offering Thursday to the remaining House Republicans who voted to impeach him after the Jan. 6 Capitol attack, according to three members in the room.

[…] There are two GOP members left in the chamber who voted for that impeachment: Reps. Dan Newhouse (R-Wash.) and David Valadao (R-Calif.). Trump seemed to be referring to Valadao, who had skipped the meeting. Newhouse had attended but dismissed Trump’s comments when reporters asked if he read them as a dig at him, saying “he didn’t mention me at all.” (read more)

It’s All Fixable

When President Obama famously told incoming President Trump the largest foreign policy concern was the potential for near-term military conflict with North Korea, Trump curiously asked Obama, “Well, have you talked to Kim Jong-un?

President Trump has never revealed how Obama responded to that question; however, given the nature of the circumstances, what we know about DC and the background involved, we can assume the Obama reply was akin to the lightbringer telling Trump, “Things just are not done that way.”

We know what happened next; President Trump engaged directly with Chairman Kim, met with him several times and even crossed into the demilitarized zone as a physical expression of a new approach.

This was only one example of President Trump’s policy doctrine, which ran completely counter to the traditions of the professional administrative state. This was/is part of the reason why DC hated Trump.

The bureaucracy of DC exists to sustain the career influence and affluence of a group of people who would never survive in the private sector. Their weak work ethic, selfish worldview, insufferably annoying character traits, flawed logic, silly outlooks and disconnected opinions, created in a bubble that has no relationship to reality, are only useful within their echo-chambered system.

President Trump has a skillset of commonsense accomplishment that runs completely counter to the mindset of the administrative state.  President Trump thinks like you and me; Trump finds optimal solutions. Washington DC simply cannot fathom successful policy outcomes that do not come from their creation. Trump succeeded with a doctrine that was entirely unfamiliar to the DC bureaucracy. {GO DEEP}  It is absolutely critical that we never forget this.

It is important to remind ourselves of what is possible in a positive way, because everything discussed about our challenges is framed from the perspective of a flawed and corrupt DC system.   From the traditional perspective, the challenge seems overwhelming, but that’s really a misnomer.

Here’s the key – The DC challenges are not overwhelming when you take a non-traditional approach toward finding solutions.

Consider the issue of SSI supplemental benefits and budgets. Yes, from the traditional perspective the financial drain on the system can collapse the federal budget. However, if we double the size of the economy and/or modify import tariffs, we can increase tax revenue and resolve the SSI budget problem.  The problem for DC is that no one knows how to double the economy or leverage tariffs to expand the domestic pie.  President Trump does.

Again, we mistakenly view our problems through the prism of how they were created.

This paralysis by analysis is emphasized by tradition, by DC punditry and by the media complex who exist to talk about the problems.  But thankfully, President Trump views our problems through the prism of how to solve them.  President Trump doesn’t look backward, he looks forward; it is a very unique and effective approach.

We look at the problem as if we individually are given an elephant to eat.  President Trump looks at the problem as if there needs to be more of us with forks.  It is, essentially, the feed a man a fish or teach a man to fish conversation.  Which one creates the larger economic pie?

Despite the naysayers, backbiters and backseat drivers, we must continually remind ourselves that Trump’s optimal solution approach works.  We have the history of the Trump Doctrine (2017 through 2020) to review as a reminder.  It just works.

So, with that in mind…. here’s a little back-and-forth that might help break the funk and remind us to smile.

[Via Unseen] – “If Trump wins, he will be handed a country in basically a depression for a majority of its people, on the brink or actually in ww3, a wide open border and a 5th column of millions of anti-American military aged men within that border, a deteriorating military, a nation so in debt it will struggle to raise capital, a country with fragile supply lines for most of the goods it needs, a divided population with half brainwashed by the media to hate the concepts the country was founded on, and a government staffed with people who will be actively fighting everything he does. Pray for our country because regardless of who wins, it’s going to be a long, hard fight to keep this country together, let alone make it great again.” (link)

My quick ‘elevator‘ reply – “Which is exactly why Donald J Trump is the best man for the hardest job of this era. Trump will end the wars in Ukraine and Gaza within a week. Restart U.S. energy independence. Tariff China and EU, pull out of NATO, eliminate Green New Deal and then…. (2+2) along with the immediate closure of the southern border, Trump will collapse the infrastructure of Chinese EV’s in Mexico…. Then he’ll call MbS, have a Big Mac and Diet Coke and plan for day two.” (link)

Now, granted I am being a little brief and big picture in retort, but the substance of what I am sharing is completely doable.  All is not lost. It is entirely possible to reverse course and Make America Great Again.

[Anne Hyatt] – “While I like that plan, fingers crossed, I don’t see how he can end the War in Gaza.” (link)

Again, THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX – “Did you follow the Trump doctrine in ’17 through ’20?

After talking to MbS, Trump will call Egypt’s President al-Sisi, and tell all regional players that fighting immediately stops and Sisi is now leading the reconciliation effort.  Likely Hamas will balk. POTUS Trump will then tell Qatar to kick out the Hamas/MB leaders (“Drive them out” 2.0) or they will face economic sanctions. Erdogan will be told to stick a sock in it, and he’d better not give a home base to Hamas again. Trump will tell Hamas leadership they need to live in Gaza; like actually live in the region they presumably lead. Trump will tell Sisi to make part of the deal a regional rule that all Gaza political leadership must live in Gaza. Syria, Jordan and Kuwait will think Trump is nuts but keep quiet because Trump might be willing to prove he’s nuts,…. and eventually everyone will call Fattah Abel al-Sisi to find out the date for the peace summit.

After lunch, Trump calls Putin because that one is easier. (link)

♦President Trump’s foreign policy approach brought North and South Korea together away from the table of conflict. ♦President Trump’s foreign policy approach brought Serbia and Kosovo together away from the table of conflict. ♦President Trump’s foreign policy rallied the Gulf Cooperation Council to stop Qatar’s support for Islamic extremists via the Muslim Brotherhood. ♦President Trump’s foreign policy brought Turkey and the Kurdish forces together away from war and conflict. ♦President Trump’s foreign policy created a ceasefire to stop the bloodshed in Syria. President Trump mediated a cessation of hostilities between India & Pakistan in the Kashmir region. ♦President Trump’s foreign policy brought Israel and the UAE together… and then Bahrain… and then Sudan in the Abraham Accords.

President Trump executes a clear foreign policy, a unique doctrine of sorts, where national security is achieved by leveraging U.S. economic power. It is a fundamental shift in approaching both allies and adversaries – summarized within the oft repeated phrase: “economic security is national security.”

The Trump Doctrine, using economics to achieve national security objectives, was/is a fundamental paradigm shift. Modern U.S. history provided no easy reference for the effective outcome, and fearing irrelevance, Washington DC was furious at how effective he was.

President Trump is the one guy who can do it again.

Exceptional Idea to Support Trump – President Trump Proposes Elimination of Taxes on Tips

Posted originally on the CTH onJune 12, 2024 | Sundance

Last week President Trump proposed a new tax policy he would work to get passed by the legislative branch.  President Trump wants to eliminate income taxes on tips given by customers to servers and service employees.

Speaking in Nevada, President Trump remarked, “so this is the first time I’ve said this, and for those hotel workers and people that get tips you’re going to be very happy because when I get to office, we are going to not charge taxes on tips people (are) making,” Trump told a crowd of thousands.

President Trump said he would “do that right away, first thing in office,” and noted in his remarks that he would seek legislation in Congress to make the change. “You do a great job of service; you take care of people and I think it’s going to be something that really is deserved.”  WATCH:

LAS VEGAS (Reuters) -Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump told a rally in Las Vegas on Sunday that he would seek to end taxation of income from tips, a direct appeal to service workers in the swing state of Nevada, which polls suggest is leaning his way ahead of the Nov. 5 election. (LINK)

In addition to being a great financial and economic policy for the middle-class and working-class service industry, this position also solidifies a value in cash against the creation of a federal reserve digital currency.

Additionally, someone on the Twitter had a great idea for when you leave a tip at a restaurant.

Write on the restaurant check: “Vote Trump – Earn tax free tips” :))

Rubio and the $64,000 Question

JPosted originally on the CTH on June 10, 2024 | Sundance

Treeper Question:

ICTHEMATRIX – […] “Related to the topic of discerning alignment via a question, I would like to sincerely ask you your thoughts on a very real possibility:

What are we to make of President Trump’s possible choice of Marco Rubio as his VP?

In many columns and pages, you have chronicled the multiple failure points of Senator Rubio…his service within the corrupted Intelligence committee, and his non-MAGA compromises. I fear this could become another massive moment of fatally poor judgement.”

The direct issue of the vice presidential pick of Donald Trump is a fun topic often discussed, because it can easily engage everyone.  The issue of Rubio, or ‘fill_in_the_blank‘, is not really that important to me; and before your jaw opens, I’ll explain why.

My personal preference is Dr. Ben Carson, for all the reasons I have previously mentioned {GO DEEP}.  In this election, GOOD is going head-to-head against EVIL.

When I say GOOD -vs- EVIL, let me give context.  These are the stakes. Given the nature of potential nuclear weapon use, three simultaneous global conflicts (likely 4 with Taiwan), a looming World War III, hundreds of thousands (perhaps millions) of slaughtered people, the likely elimination of the dollar as the global reserve currency for around half the world, a dollar-based central bank digital currency created by the United States Treasury if Biden wins, the catastrophic consequences in the lives of ordinary Americans, and essentially the end of projected USA power and the economic security that goes with it, there may not be a familiar tomorrow if the election goes the wrong way.   With that in mind, the lowest possible consideration in my mind is 2028.

Next up, put this thinking cream into your coffee as we sip through the thought processes.

They crossed the Rubicon in 2020 with 51 high ranking Gov Intel members purposefully and specifically lying to the public.  Does everyone realize the scale of that, and what it meant when they took that position on such an openly visible lie right to our faces, using our highest-ranking government intelligence members?  They don’t exactly come back from that; it was an all-in position…. and they did it.  What does that stuff in 2020 tell you about 2024?

What they will do, based on what they have already done, is the stuff we should be thinking about.

Look at what they have done.

This doesn’t even touch on the forced vaccination and COVID madness where people literally stood outside of buildings while their husbands, wives, mothers, fathers, grandparents and children died alone, ALONE, because government people – the type who torture beagles for a living – said that isolation was what we needed to do…. because that was part of the predicate for manipulating an election.

Lawfare?  Heck, that’s the least dangerous poison arrow in their death to the republic quiver.

That’s the 2024 context.

So back to the VP possibility and Marco Rubio.

I don’t have any idea who President Donald Trump will select.  However, I can see him liking Senator Rubio, because Rubio is articulate, clean, relatively young, bilingual, has a family, is polite and well mannered, is cultured, is seemingly not in trouble, and he gives a good impression when he walks into the room and engages the guests.   Rubio outwardly checks boxes that make him appear like a safe legacy consideration.

The downside is that Rubio is a manipulative liar, untrustworthy, speaks with forked tongue, fulfills the role of Brutus, or the “scorpion” perfectly, and seemingly has done stuff early on in his life that may have created the origination compromise.  Beyond all that, the cherry on the corruption cake is his relationship with the Intelligence Community.  Any SSCI Vice-Chair who can sit with SSCI Chairman Mark Warner as a “friend across the aisle,” can never, not for a single moment, be trusted.  It’s just the reality of it.

That said, I genuinely don’t care who Trump selects as vice president.  I have my preference (Carson), but I’m situationally ambivalent to the issue, because I view my preference for Trump’s mission as something totally different than most.

WE THE PEOPLE need to take back the power from our government.  I want President Trump to operate every lever from the limited office of the presidency to give us the tools to take back that power.  WE need to be the vice president, and WE need to be the force in 2028 that determines how the deconstruction of our oppression continues.

President Donald J. Trump is our weapon, our wrecking ball to start this MAGA process.  We the People are the entities who need to support Trump, while keeping him fueled and fearless as he does it.   Depending on how much deconstruction demolition Trump is able to achieve, the next phase of operational leadership will need a different skillset.

Last point – I don’t believe that President Donald Trump has “massively failed” at anything.  I’m not going to backbite, judge or criticize the man in the arena, because he wears a different sandal or chooses a different weapon to fight the enemy.  Look around, he’s all alone.

Go back to what I wrote in July, 2015, about Donald Trump. “Why I Support Donald Trump“… Long before anyone thought he had a chance, I explained the reason I would support him in 2015. [Part 2]

I said in 2015, if Donald Trump showed up to the August Fox debate in five-inch heels, a Carmen Miranda hat and started twerking the podium of Jeb Bush, I would vote for him even harder. …. Because Trump was the only one different than the set of characters organized to help Jeb.

President Trump isn’t the cause of the GOP problems; President Trump is the result of the GOP problems. President Trump is our weapon. From that perspective, there is no alternative. And yes, he is the ONLY alternative. Whether he makes mistakes or not is a moot point against the reality of him being the only alternative to a completely corrupt system. Think about it.

There are quite enough high-horse riders and keyboard warriors who do not understand the DC system criticizing Trump. They don’t need my help. I cheer our glorious bastard every day, because every ounce of his thinking and effort comes from a place of good intention. I do not doubt this fallible, flawed and simultaneously decent, strong, purposeful and resilient man.

Beyond 2024, Good is going to have to battle Evil, and at the same time our nation will need stability, optimism and a resurgence of faith.  In short, no one is winning this political war without putting God, righteousness and prayer at the forefront, as the DC tables are overturned.

When it gets ugly, and it will get extremely ugly, something just inherently tells me, we will need Ben Carson.

People Are Calling This “President Trump’s Greatest Interview”

Posted originally on the CTH on June 7, 2024 | Sundance

Dr. Phil had a lengthy interview with President Trump, drilling down on how Trump deals with being the target of so much vitriol, hatred and weaponized targeting from every facet of the American system of government. I think the interview is being well received because the questions go beyond talking about the details of the targeting and focus on the emotional part of how President Trump and his family deal with it.

These are the types of questions that ordinary supporters of the MAGA effort would likely ask President Trump.  WATCH:

Post Verdict Polling Shows No Movement – Trump Still Leads Biden and Media Are Not Happy

Posted originally on the CTH on June 6, 2024 | Sundance

The linguistic contortions the New York Times needs to give an acceptable narrative to their audience is funny.  The NYT/Sienna did a poll of Trump and Biden supporters to see if the New York guilty verdict against Trump made a difference.  It did not.

The Times just resurveyed the same people they previously surveyed, and the result was essentially nothing, given the original margin of error which transfers to both efforts.

Trump was leading by two points before, now Trump is leading Biden by one point – nothing changed.  However, the amount of text used by the propaganda pushers in their effort to frame the predetermined narrative is a little funny.

NYT – […] In fact, the voters we spoke to who continue to support Mr. Trump appear to be more enthusiastic than ever. Many of his previously disengaged supporters seemed newly energized by the verdict, with 18 percent of his supporters who previously said they were unlikely to vote now “almost certain” to do so, compared with just 3 percent of Mr. Biden’s supporters who moved into that category. But the slight movement overall toward Mr. Biden is broadly in line with other recent surveys. (read more)

Overall, the results show that President Trump’s support is just not going to leave him, which makes sense when you really think about Trump’s support system.

One of the mistakes that many people make is failing to understand that more Americans can see the UniParty than ever before.  Once you realize there is only one party, then you realize there’s nothing to lose by supporting Donald J. Trump.  This is the baseline we spent a great deal of time explaining and discussing in 2015.

Against the outcome of the New York trial, this discussion has been taking place on Twitter.  I’m not flinching one bit, for almost all of the same reasons we held in 2015 and 2016.  President Trump has done far more than we ever expected him to accomplish.

I think many people might relate to this response on Twitter:

USER: Babe Elder – […] I didn’t watch his TV show. I didn’t read his books. I never paid attention to what some rich New Yorker did or said. Until he came down the escalator and I listened to what he said.

I understood immediately that he was not a polished speaker. He wasn’t a trained politician. And I knew what he meant.

Then, I saw how the media and random career politicians reacted. Labeling him racist over Mexico not sending their best.

He gave a rally in Arizona and McCain insulted the people who came to it as crazies. And Trump, the unpolished speaker, went right after McCain.

McCain went after The People. Trump went after McCain on behalf of The People. And me? I became a fan.

So now, here we are. I’ve watched as the idiots in the media, the uniparty, the alphabet institutions, and now, the Lawfare brigade have tried to break this one man.
For that barrage of BS, I will crawl through glass, bees, slime, and shit to vote for Trump.

He doesn’t have to pay me. He has earned my loyalty and respect. Not because of his glowing smooth perfection, but because, despite his gaffs, imperfections, and mistakes, he keeps going. For We The People.

There is no carefully crafted, vetted, and slick talking politician who will suffer, as Trump has, to protect me and mine. Trump has and will. As long as he stands. I will stand with him.

The more they hate him.
The firmer I plant my feet. (LINK)
