Ending Incentives for Migrants

Executive order “Ending Taxpayer Subsidization of Open Borders” was signed into law by Donald Trump on February 19, 2025. Homeland Security arrested around 20,000 illegal migrants during Trump’s first month in office, but that is a drop in the bucket. Agencies must now act swiftly to ensure that we are not incentivizing people to stay in the US illegally, which is a complete reversal from the actions of the last administration.

Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins has directed the Food and Nutrition service (FNS) under the US Department of Agriculture to prevent illegal migrants from accessing food stamps. “The days in which taxpayer dollars are used to subsidize illegal immigration are over,” said Secretary Rollins, “Today’s directive affirms that the U.S. Department of Agriculture will follow the law—full stop,” Rollins noted.

Rollins also noted that there have been restrictions in place since Bill Clinton was in office to prevent incentivizing illegal migration. Congress passed the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act (PRWORA, P.L. 104-193) in 1996, stating that illegal aliens may not receive federal benefits. Former President Bill Clinton signed this measure into law and it received bipartisan support at the time. “Qualified aliens” were permitted to receive benefits after residing in the US for five years. The Biden Administration completely ignored this law by opening the borders and announcing to the world that anyone who bypassed border patrol would receive a US taxpayer-subsidized easy life.

The United States is deliberately funding its own demise under the guise of humanitarian aid. DOGE is still uncovering the magnitude of this injustice that was hidden from public view. This migrant crisis is not some organic event where people decided to rush en masse to the US. Our politicians not only told them to come here to seek sanctuary, but they passed measures to incentivize everyone and anyone to enter America.

Rome fell when it stretched itself too thin, bringing in foreigners who had no loyalty to the state, all while its bureaucrats bled the treasury dry. The same pattern is unfolding today. The government is using taxpayer dollars to house, feed, and subsidize migrants, all while American cities rot from decades of economic mismanagement. This is not about compassion—it’s about control.

What people fail to understand is that this is a deliberate policy decision, not an accident. The Democrats were importing voters to ensure political dominance, creating an economic burden that will justify higher taxation and more draconian measures on the average American. We are witnessing the same strategy that has been used time and again throughout history—when governments lose control, they seek to divide and conquer their own people.

Revoking free housing, shelter, food stamps, debit cards, phones, and whatever else the Democrats threw in the care package should discourage newcomers. The ongoing arrests and deportation measures are costly while necessary. We do not know how many people are here illegally and it is unrealistic to believe everyone will willingly leave. There are valid concerns that we will witness an uptick in crime as people lose their only way to access money and necessities. What will happen to those who have already made a life here and abandoned their prior lives? Countless individuals paid smugglers to grant them entry into America. Others sold off everything they had to make it to America. Most were relying entirely on US welfare and will need to rebuild their lives entirely. Opening the border was a complete violation of human rights for not only the American people but for the migrants as well.

Cutting Government Waste – But (D)ifferent

Posted originally on Feb 28, 2025 by Martin Armstrong

The Campaign To Cut Waste established an oversight and accountability board that worked to reduce “government waste.” The program saved the US government an estimated $17.6 billion within the first six months of launching. NO—Donald Trump and DOGE were not behind these efforts, as this campaign was initiated by former President Barack Obama, who said, “No amount of waste is acceptable.”

I will give it to Barack Obama that he was a highly skilled public speaker and his rhetoric will be studied for many years to come. Even in the video above, he hints at humorous government spending that had minimal impact on reducing the deficit. But he presented his plans to the people in a manner that was easily digestible and dumbed down. Half of the nation does not understand Donald Trump or his efforts. They believe he is cruel and mean due to his aggressive delivery, but he gets the job done. At our Rome conference, Nigel Farage mentioned that Trump had a “New York demeanor,” which many cannot understand. They want to hear every message sprinkled in sugar.

I mentioned in an earlier blog post that firing past-era US Attorneys is a STANDARD PRACTICE, despite cries that it was an act of a dictator under Trump. President Bill Clinton also fired all 93 US attorneys when he came to power. “That’s a traditional prerogative of an incoming president,” Hillary Clinton said in 2007 regarding her husband’s actions.

As for slimming down the government, the Clinton Administration implemented a program of “reinventing government” to streamline federal bureaucracy and cut down on wasteful spending. The National Performance Review (later renamed the National Partnership for Reinventing Government) led to a reduction of 377,000 federal jobs from 1993 to 1999, while other sources say this figure could have been as high as 426,200.

Clinton also offered buyout programs of up to $25,000 to reduce higher management positions. He implemented attrition and “early out programs,” in which those who felt they could find gainful employment in the private sector left. Al Gore even said the goal was “to make the entire Federal Government both less expensive and more efficient, and to change the culture of our national bureaucracy away from complacency and entitlement toward initiative and empowerment.” Everyone cheered these measures which received bipartisan support.

Joe Biden may have sought to multiply the public sector, but most past administrations have attempted to wrangle runaway budgets by reducing waste. No one has taken a more aggressive approach than Donald Trump, but he has been left with no choice as his predecessor was pushing America into outright socialism. The current government structure is utterly bloated with nonsense agencies and roles that add nothing to GDP—no public agency is adding to the GDP. DOGE and Trump began with the outright ridiculous DEI programs and hires and are now on to the rest.

People are outraged at Trump and DOGE for fast-tracking the process. The government has never been larger, and the national debt has never been higher. It is simply (D)ifferent when past administrations tried to take the very same actions with a softer approach.

The Epstein Files

A tipster said that all but “approximately 200 pages of documents” concerning Epstein were still being kept secret at the FBI’s office in the Southern District of New York — despite her repeated requests for the “full” Epstein files. There are probably a number of powerful politicians listed in those files, but there may be other files regarding his fake suicide. They never put someone on suicide watch in a cell by themselves – it does not happen. The guards supposedly fell asleep. I never saw that happen, either.

I have said all along that Epstein was NOT a child pedophile. The people he was bringing in from princes, Bill Gates, Bill Clinton, etc, were to get them on film and use that for blackmail. If he was a pedophile, you do not broadcast that to influential people who might look down on you. This was a powerplay, and the real question is, who was he operating for?

At the conclusion of several bilateral breakout sessions British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and President Trump hold a joint press conference.  The largest issue on the table of conversation is the Ukraine-Russia peace agreement to stop the war and create the space for a ceasefire.

In addition to the Russia-Ukraine war, tariffs and the economic impacts from the tariff program was a key topic for media questions.

During the initial press availability, President Trump welcomes British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to the oval office.

As part of the initial discussion, PM Starmer delivered a letter from King Charles III inviting President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump to a state dinner at Windsor. President Trump accepted the invitation.

On the issue of a Ukraine-Russia ceasefire and negotiated peace deal, President Trump is non-committal to the U.S participating in a peacekeeping force, should that be the determined course of action.  President Trump again affirms how open lines of communication with Russian President Vladimir Putin is critical to stop the bloodshed and get to a place where a ceasefire is possible.

President Trump affirmed the upcoming round of tariffs are going forward on schedule both in North America and on the reciprocal tariffs that come later in April. WATCH:

I Hope Everyone Paid Close Attention to Bondi’s Epstein Mess Today, Because It’s Going to Go Downhill From Here

Posted originally on CTH on February 27, 2025 | Sundance

I will simply repeat that I hope everyone continues watching Pam Bondi’s unfolding mess in great detail. It’s going to get a lot worse as the issues get more serious.

Attorney General Pam Bondi delivered a failing performance today with a ridiculous theatrical “Epstein Binders” exhibition delivered to White House assembled “influencers.”  [They look like idiots]

A group of highly followed people from social media, were apparently recruited by someone in/around the orbit of Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt to visit the White House. I’m told the undiscussed agenda was to introduce the influencers to JD Vance, as part of the preliminary operation for Vance ’28 [Similar to Pushaw and DeSantis in ’22].

Attorney General Pam Bondi, always looking for the best performance for public imagery, took the opportunity of their visit to give the influencers an exclusive insider series of “Epstein Files” custom printed in a binder for them. However, the Epstein files delivered are nothing more than simple documents already in the public [Online pdf].

After talking for the past several days about her intention to reveal explosive Epstein files, Bondi way overpromised and severely underdelivered.  Then again, when it’s a performance, that tends to happen. But wait, it gets worse….

AG Bondi then generated a letter for public consumption, blaming the FBI New York Field Office for hiding and withholding Epstein materials.  Apparently, the Attorney General was unaware that Gislaine Maxwell was prosecuted in New York and all the Epstein evidence was co-located with the trial venue as some of the post-conviction legal arguments and appeals are taking place.

You really cannot make this stuff up…

AG Bondi has egg on her face, and instead of taking a breath – thinking carefully about the stupidity of her own actions and claims in the past week, she immediately starts blaming the FBI in New York for holding evidence of the Epstein case that took place in New York.

Again, Bondi is not a serious person, and Bondi is certainly not an intellectual legal powerhouse.   Pam Bondi is the Sean Hannity of U.S. Attorney Generals.

Back to the White House…..

Prior to receiving their binders of nonsense, the Social Media influencers (another group of not exactly bright legal or scholarly minds) assembled for discussion and consultation.  If the pictures remind you of the Pushaw operation in Florida on behalf of Ron DeSantis, there’s likely a reason for that.

We shall probably hear more from all of these names as the JD Vance operation moves forward toward 2028.

[…] The National Pulse earlier reported that influencers were caught off guard when presented with the binders during a routine policy briefing session at the White House on Thursday morning.

The morning meetings included stops by Vice President J.D. Vance and President Donald Trump. Social media influencers also had a quick tour of the Oval Office, where FBI Director Kash Patel, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, and other members of the Cabinet and senior administration officials were present. President Trump is understood to have handed out White House memorabilia such as Presidential Challenge Coins and pens.

As the group moved from the Oval Office, several of the influencers present held up their binders for the assembled press, most of whom were there to cover the British Prime Minister’s visit to the White House.

Only after this media moment were the social media influencers told that AG Bondi did not want the public to know about the distribution of the binders, a caveat that came too late. One of the sources I spoke to called the entire incident a “clusterfuck,” with many of them resenting the fact that social media influencers are getting the blame for not releasing more information when they were asked not to, but only after the assembled media had taken pictures and video of them.
