Well some times if its too god to be true “free Health Care” maybe its just a scam — Obama would never mislead the public would he?

As government watchdogs pound the White House’s incompetence and negligence over the implementation and administration of Obamacare, the law has slumped to a new low in the (generally Obamacare-friendly) Kaiser Family Foundation national survey released last week. Administration officials are warning consumers that November’s open enrollment period won’t to go smoothly, predicting “bumps” and higher premiums. The system is still disjointed because, in spite of nearly $850 million already spent on Healthcare.gov, the hub’s “back end” still isn’t built — and isn’t expected to be functional until some time in 2015. This glaring flaw has created data discrepancy headaches left and right, and has opened the door for fraud. Sticker shock and confusion have simultaneously led to some “attrition” among enrollees who purchased plans, but have ceased paying for coverage. And all of this against a backdrop of

UCSB Professor Miller-Young Pleads No Contest To Battery and Other Charges As Supporters Denounce Her Victims As “Terrorists”

milleryoungWe recently discussed the controversy surrounding a confrontation between Thrin Short, 16, and her sister Joan, 21, and Feminist Studies Associate Professor Mireille Miller-Young. Miller-Young was then charged with criminal conduct including Theft of Person; Battery; and Vandalism. While initially pleading not guilty, Miller-Young has now entered a no contest plea to charges to the three misdemeanors. Despite the videotape of the incident and violation of both criminal law and presumably university regulations, Miller-Young remains employed at the university.

Democratic Commissioner Suggests Need For Greater Speech Limitations On College Campuses

bio_yakiThere is a disturbing story how this week concerning the U.S. Civil Rights Commission and specifically Commission, Michael Yaki, a Democratic appointee who was a former senior adviser to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. Yaki spoke on sexual harassment law in education, a subject on which I have previously written to express my concerns over the loss of due process rights for accused students. Yaki’s comments however seem to threaten core free speech principles as he laid out his view of the need to curtail harmful speech. Yaki spoke of the need to outlaw unpopular or what he considers degrading speech because college students are too impressionable.

Cartoon - Government of Obama“Today, however, President Obama has taken the concept of discretion and so distorted it, and has taken the obligation of faithful enforcement and so rejected it, that his job as chief law enforcer has become one of incompetent madness or chief lawbreaker. Time after time, in areas as disparate as civil liberties, immigration, foreign affairs and health care, the President has demonstrated a propensity for rejecting his oath and doing damage to our fabric of liberty that cannot easily be undone by a successor.”

That is Judge Andrew P. Napolitano, a Fox News commentator, writing in the July 31 edition of The Washington Times.

Americans and many around the world are increasingly fearful of a President who has demonstrated no regard for the checks and balances of our incredible Constitution, the oldest in the world that still functions to protect individual rights and which sets…

When a ruler makes his own rules/laws that is the definition of a tyrant

Is Barack Obama Plotting a Coup?

Re-Posted from PowerLine on August 3, 2014 by John Hinderaker

That seems like an awfully strong word, but it is the term that distinguished law professor Glenn Reynolds, no hysteric, uses to describe the Obama administration’s oft-reported plan to issue executive amnesty to five or six million illegal immigrants in violation of federal law. Glenn’s characterization is a fair one. When a tyrant asserts the right to rule by decree in a state that has formerly been subject to the rule of law, he is commonly described as carrying out a coup d’etat.

That is just what the Obama administration has done, and reportedly will continue to do. When Obama changed the Affordable Care Act by decree–to name just one example, substituting “2014″ for “2013″ in a critical provision of the statute–he acted as a tyrant. In his refusal to enforce the immigration laws, contrary to the Constitution which requires him to “take care that the laws be faithfully executed,” he has acted like a tinpot dictator, asserting the right to change or ignore the law by fiat. If he now directly nullifies Section 274(a) of the Immigration and Nationalities Act by legalizing, and issuing work permits to, five or six million illegal immigrants, thereby repealing federal law by decree, how else can we describe his action but as a coup? The Obama administration openly takes the position that the rule of law no longer applies.

Can you imagine the furor that would have resulted if President Nixon, in the midst of the Watergate crisis, had asserted the right to repeal or amend federal statutes by decree? No, actually, you can’t. Forget impeachment; he would have been escorted out of the Oval Office by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. What, then, makes Barack Obama special? How can he claim the right to rule by decree without suffering the same condemnation? Well, the answer is obvious: he is a Democrat. But is that really enough? No president, Democrat or Republican, has ever dreamed of asserting such unconstitutional authority.

I am one of many who have ridiculed the Democrats’ seemingly weird obsession with impeachment. But perhaps there is method to the Democrats’ apparent madness. If they know that President Obama is about to do something that obviously warrants impeachment–asserting the right to rule by executive decree, and repealing the nation’s immigration laws by fiat–perhaps it is shrewd on their part to preemptively attack the idea of impeachment and commit Republicans to the fact that they have no thought of any such thing. Then, when Obama makes his move, it will be harder for Republicans to switch gears and start talking about removing him from office. That strikes me as the most logical explanation for the Democrats’ well-coordinated, but seemingly pointless, anti-impeachment campaign.

Today, the White House started backing off on plans to issue an executive amnesty. Maybe, as Glenn Reynolds says, this is a sign that someone in the White House is in touch with reality. Perhaps a coup has been averted, on this subject at least. But eternal vigilance is the price of liberty, so let’s not let down our guard.

Calif. School District Decides Learning about Diversity Is More Important Than Learning Geography

El Rancho Verde Unified School District will stop requiring its high-school students to take geography and instead require them to take a class on diversity and inclusion.

ERUSD president Aurora Villon said the class is necessary because minority students “need to feel validated.”

“When you negate their culture, they feel less than other students,” she said in an e-mail to Whittier Daily News.

House Curbs Obama’s Deportation Delays in Border Deal

The real problem is Obama since he will not enforce the existing laws, so why would anyone thing he would enforce any law he “personally” didn’t agree with. Making laws is not his job that is congress’s job but the Senate which is controlled by Obama blocks anything for the “peoples” house the house of Representatives; 435 members verses only 100 in the Senate.

deacon303's avatarWhiskey Tango Foxtrot

House Republicans worked overtime last night to pass two bills addressing the border crisis — measures all but certain to die in the Senate  – hours after President Obama threatened to act on his own.

“I’m gonna have to act alone,” Obama told reporters during an afternoon briefing, dismissing the House’s emergency spending bill in response to the surge of unaccompanied children from Central America as “extreme” and “unworkable.” The president added:

I have already been very clear. We will run out of money. We’re going to have to reallocate some resources so we can do basic functions, whether it’s making sure kids are properly housed or that there enough immigration judges to hear their cases.

In a 223-189 vote late last night, however, the House passed a revision of  legislation Speaker John A. Boehner dramatically pulled from consideration Thursday because of opposition from conservatives.

More dramatically, the House voted 216-192…

The Bureaucracy is Out of Control

Re-Posted on Armstrong Economics August 1, 2014 by Martin Armstrong

Obama should just resign. He is outrageous. He supported the NSA and has claimed the CIA does not spy on Congress. Well, the Inspector General has released his report and oops – yes the CIA spies on Congress.

Let’s get real here. I have reported that for 2 years speaking and communicating with people on the House Financial Services Committee (banking), they were telling me that the NSA was sweeping up even their emails and phone calls way before Snowden. I was told that point-blank and not in confidence. Therefore, EVERY journalist had that SAME info and refused to report it. Snowden had to go to the Guardian in Britain to get the story out because WE HAVE NO PRESS WITH INTEGRITY that is still standing in the United States.

Now they are all reporting the CIA spies on Congress (see New York Times). The executive branch led by the President controls the Judiciary as well and it is normally at war with Congress. Obama has used the NSA, IRS, and the CIA to attack everyone. At some point these people behind the curtain are the unelected. They threaten and blackmail people as part of their routine. I have seen this first hand and you do not grasp pure evil until you see it in their eyes. These types of people see themselves so above everyone else and bask in their power to destroy anyone or anything they deem inappropriate. Where this will all end is written in history and it is never pretty. Obama is either a stooge or part of the real danger to the survivability of our nation long-term intact.
