Al Jazeera is essentially the state run media outlet of Qatar. Secretary of State Rubio sat down for a lengthy interview with Al Jazeera that will be shared throughout the Arab world.
“In an exclusive Al Jazeera interview, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that President Trump always prefers diplomacy, with messages and indirect talks ongoing between the US and figures inside Iran. Rubio demanded that Iran abandon all nuclear weapons ambitions, end its missile and drone programmes, and stop sponsoring terrorism across the region. He rejected Iran’s conditions for ending the war — including sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz and financial compensation — calling the strait demand illegal and a dangerous global precedent. Rubio declared that the strait “will be open one way or another” after US military objectives are achieved, whether through Iranian compliance or an international coalition.”
“He outlined those objectives as the destruction of Iran’s air force (achieved), navy (largely achieved), missile launchers, and weapons factories — all to be completed in weeks, not months. Rubio expressed disappointment with NATO allies like Spain for denying basing rights and airspace, warning that the US would re-examine its NATO commitment. He confirmed the US would welcome regime change in Iran but insisted it was not the official objective of the current military operation. The interview also covered post-Maduro stabilisation in Venezuela and called for serious economic and political reforms in Cuba.”

As Secretary of State Marco Rubio appears for an interview on Good Morning America, President Trump released the following statement:
“The United States of America is in serious discussions with A NEW, AND MORE REASONABLE, REGIME to end our Military Operations in Iran. Great progress has been made but, if for any reason a deal is not shortly reached, which it probably will be, and if the Hormuz Strait is not immediately “Open for Business,” we will conclude our lovely “stay” in Iran by blowing up and completely obliterating all of their Electric Generating Plants, Oil Wells and Kharg Island (and possibly all desalinization plants!), which we have purposefully not yet “touched.” This will be in retribution for our many soldiers, and others, that Iran has butchered and killed over the old Regime’s 47 year “Reign of Terror.” Thank you for your attention to this matter.” ~ President DONALD J. TRUMP
Secretary Rubio responded in real time to questions about the objectives. Rubio impressively underlined the objectives in Iran, reemphasizing the core intent of the military operation to remove the capacity of Iran to pose a threat to the stable alliances that have formed in the region. WATCH:

As the ongoing Operation Epic Fury military engagement continues, CENTCOM announces the arrival of 3.500 Marines from the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit into forward position.
As negotiations with Iranian leadership are reported to be ongoing, it would appear that options are now present for President Trump to make a decision on the potential seizure of Kharg Island, a crucial oil export hub off Iran’s coast.
(Via Wall Street Journal) – The Pentagon is looking at sending up to 10,000 additional ground troops to the Middle East to give President Trump more military options even as he weighs peace talks with Tehran, Department of Defense officials with knowledge of the planning said.
The force, which would likely include infantry and armored vehicles, would be added to the roughly 5,000 Marines and the thousands of paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne Division who have already been ordered to the region.
It is unclear where precisely forces will go in the Middle East, but they will likely be within striking distance of Iran and Kharg Island, a crucial oil export hub off Iran’s coast.
Trump has repeatedly said he will open the Strait of Hormuz, with or without the help of U.S. allies. (read more)

Senator Tom Cotton is the Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI), and in that position Cotton is an intelligence Gang of Eight member who receives regular updates and briefings at essentially the same level as the President.
Senator Cotton states that from everything he has seen and been briefed about, Operation Epic Fury continues to proceed on a timeline that he feels is confident to accomplish the task in weeks, not months. WATCH:

Three days ago, the Financial Times wrote an article framed around the central thesis of the LaRouche PAC, now branded as Promethean Action PAC. The FT article accused Treasury Secretary Bessent of structuring a U.S. Federal Reserve policy disconnected from the framework of the U.K banking and finance model; essentially the article said what Promethean has been claiming about the British banking system and President Trump’s intent.
Treasury Secretary Bessent immediately responded saying the article and its claims were false, “There is much to be said about the storied Bank of England, but any recreation of its operating framework on this side of the Atlantic has never been contemplated.” CTH was waiting to see how the Lyndon LaRouche PAC would react to the Trump administration denial of their central thesis. As expected, the LaRouche group ignored it.
That said, Barbara Boyd, former organizer of “Students for LaRouche” (SLR), put together a video highlighting some of the recent remarks by Secretary Rubio, Secretary Bessent and President Trump that accurately point out how the U.S. is disconnecting America First policy from the European Union/NATO perspective. The upcoming summit between President Trump and Chairman Xi will be very interesting to watch:
While the LaRouche team at Promethean Action PAC are good at following the Trump America-First policy outcomes, the LaRouche team are British-centric in all things related to it. Decoupling the USA from the “special relationship” with the U.K is an outcome of a pragmatic approach toward America First; it is not the intention of the policy.
Lastly, each time a LaRouche PAC video is shared, the promoters of Promethean Action PAC try to obfuscate the relationship. It is a fact that Susan Kokinda and Barbara Boyd are life-long LaRouche followers and organizers. A recent tweet shared below will hopefully put this pretending (willful blindness) to rest.
The United Kingdom of Great Britain is a shell of its former self. The City of London no longer has anywhere near the influence being attributed to it and the British monarchy is in a state of freefall.
The bloom is off the ruse.
Perhaps that’s why the PAC had to change vehicles.
However, all of that said, I’m not sure MAGA is prepared to shift support toward Beijing and Chinese Chairman Xi Jinping. Then again, as long as it’s not the British crown, that’s LaRouche for ya.
Take from the information buffet all the stuff that provides value and simultaneously ignore the stuff that will have you seeing black helicopters following your car every day.
Remember, ultimately a Political Action Committee (PAC) is a fundraising vehicle.

If you’ve ever watched the intrapersonal aspects of the EU as a governing body, you have likely noticed that EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, is an annoying person always injecting herself into every discussion. The DEI infected bureaucrats always go along with it.
Last month, Kallas came to the USA to meet with members of congress sympathetic to World War Reddit and Zelenskyy. A cashmere dustup was created because Secretary of State Marco Rubio didn’t meet with her on the eve of Operation Epic Fury. Mrs Kallas felt slighted.
According to insider reports, during Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s recent visit to the G7 foreign minister’s assembly in Paris Mrs Kallas took the opportunity to snark at Secretary Rubio.
(Via Axios) – EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas asked Secretary of State Marco Rubio when the U.S. would get tough on Russia during a G7 ministers meeting on Friday, sparking a sharp retort, according to three sources who attended the meeting.
She noted that Rubio had said at the same forum a year earlier that if Russia hampered U.S. efforts to end the war, the U.S. would run out of patience and take more steps against the Kremlin.
“A year has passed and Russia hasn’t moved,” Kallas told Rubio, according to the sources. “When is your patience going to run out?”
Rubio was visibly annoyed, “We are doing the best we can to end the war. If you think you can do it better, go ahead. We will step aside,” he fired back, raising his voice. (read more)

As expected, overall CPAC 2026 has been a big dud with more than half of the events sparsely attended, and more empty seats than audience members. CPAC has been rejected by the majority of the pragmatic MAGA base, leaving only a shallow lineup of regretful podcast voices showcasing their diminished influence. It’s a hot mess.
That said, a large gathering of organized Persians and Texas evangelicals who support Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi as the outside opposition leader to Iran showed up for his keynote address. While many in the audience likely had never heard of Pahlavi prior to today, they know they do not support the religious zealots who are being confronted by President Trump.
President Trump and Secretary Marco Rubio have kept the Pahlavi crowd at a diplomatic arm’s length as they work through the optimal solutions; however, Prince Reza Pahlavi was well received at CPAC 2026 to deliver his remarks.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio takes reporters’ questions in Paris, France as he departs the G7 minister meeting for a return trip to Washington DC. There is a lot of good information in this presser.
Within the remarks and questions, [06:55] Secretary Rubio is asked about recent comments from Ukraine President Zelenskyy who said the U.S. would only give security guarantees if Ukraine gave the Donbas region to Russia. Secretary Rubio responded, “that’s a lie, and I saw him say that and it’s unfortunate he would say that, because he knows that’s not true.” … “I don’t know why he says these things.” WATCH:

The more NATO/EU hypocrisy creates friction with President Trump; the less U.S. support exists for Ukraine. That’s the dynamic Zelenskyy is trying desperately to navigate with his EU allies.
During a lengthy interview with Reuters, Zelenskyy says he has been directly told the only way for Ukraine to get security guarantees from USA participation is if he concedes the contested Donbas region to Russia and ends the conflict.
Assuming what Zelenskyy says is accurate, at this point in the ongoing stalemate, this seems like the pragmatic optimal solution. Concede Donbas to Russia, and the U.S. will mediate terms that emphasize an American willingness to protect Ukraine from further encroachment.
That said, when Zelenskyy once again starts asking who is going to pay for the needs of his country, the U.S. taxpayer eyeroll commences.
KYIV, March 25 (Reuters) – The U.S. is making its offer of security guarantees for a peace deal in Ukraine conditional on Kyiv ceding all of the country’s eastern region of Donbas to Russia, President Volodymyr Zelenskiy told Reuters in an interview.
[…] Two vital questions remained unresolved regarding security guarantees, Zelenskiy said: Who would help to fund Ukraine’s weapons purchases to sustain its military deterrent, and how exactly would its allies respond in the face of any future Russian aggression?
“The Americans are prepared to finalise these guarantees at a high level once Ukraine is ready to withdraw from Donbas,” said the 48-year-old leader, who added that he understood the “subtleties” of the American position although he had not participated directly himself in the trilateral talks.
Russian President Vladimir Putin insists that control of the whole of Donbas is an essential element of his war aims, which Moscow would achieve on the battlefield if it could not do so at the negotiating table.
But the pace of Russia’s advance has been slow over the past two years. Military analysts say it could take a long time and a significant amount of manpower to conquer all of Donbas, which includes a so-called Fortress Belt of cities heavily fortified by the Ukrainian military.
[…] Speaking in a gilded meeting room at the presidential offices in central Kyiv, Zelenskiy said Russia was betting Washington would lose interest if the peace talks stalled and would walk away. He acknowledged that there was some risk of this.
A fourth round of trilateral talks due this month was postponed due to the Iran conflict.
The Ukrainian leader shrugged off past tensions between himself and Trump. “I am not a box of chocolates or a car, to be liked or disliked by one person or another,” he said. “In my opinion, the President of the United States looks at this more pragmatically, and he probably wants the war to end quickly. We also want to do so quickly.”
[…] Following heavy Russian bombardment of Ukrainian cities on Wednesday, Zelenskiy thanked the Trump administration for maintaining the supplies of Patriot missile defence systems, despite increased demand for these weapons because of the conflict in the Gulf.
[…] “Deliveries to us were not stopped. I’m very grateful to President Trump, and to his team,” Zelenskiy said. “But this supply of Patriot missiles is not as large as we need.” (read more)
It’s never enough for this guy. Ukraine is a bottomless pit of money and corruption.
As the EU proclaims that Iran is not a NATO member and the middle east conflict is not their issue, President Trump rightly points out that Ukraine is not a NATO member, and the Ukraine conflict is not our issue.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio is heading to a G7 foreign minister summit in France, and paused to answer questions on both Iran and Ukraine from the traveling press pool.
