Bolton’s Impeachment Hell

The Snake with the Mustache

Trump Defense Counsel Ken Starr said impeachment Is ‘Hell,’ and like war, it is a bad habit to be kicked.

That was enough to inspire this cartoon. War is a bad habit, and John Bolton is a warmonger. He wanted war with Iran in particular and was frustrated when President Trump reined him in at every turn. Now he wants to use the impeachment proceedings as a means to shamelessly hype his new book and hit back at Trump.

We now see Bolton’s true neocon turncoat colors. In Dante’s “Inferno,” there was a special circle in Hell for such traitors. Bolton has penned a book that lambasts the president and accuses him of using a ‘quid pro quo’ arrangement with Ukraine in order to get Joe Biden investigated. Trump denies it, but even if true it’s not impeachable. It’s the president’s job to prevent corruption and Biden is corrupt as they come.

Bolton’s fellow turncoat, Mitt Romney, and a handful of Republicans are expressing a willingness to hear Bolton as a witness. That opens a clown car door and we’ll see who knows how many witnesses for both sides. The impeachment hell could drag on even longer, and that’s not good for our country.

Let the American people decide whether or not Trump gets a second term. Deep State partisans with Trump Derangement Syndrome shouldn’t get to decide whether or not Trump gets a second term. That decision should be left to American citizens in November.

John Bolton is a Dangerous Neocon Who Wants to Wage War On Everyone He Demonizes in His Mind

QUESTION: You have been silent on the whole John Bolton thing. Do you think this is really a smoking gun?

PN

ANSWER: I have absolutely ZERO trust or respect for John Bolton (OPINION). He is trying to overthrow Trump BECAUSE not that he was fired by Trump, but because he is a NEOCON who wants to take the country into war with every entity he can conjure up a scenario. He was fired by Trumpbecause he wanted to attack North Korea, keep the troops in Afghanistan, and wage war on Russia and Iran.

What he is doing coming forward with his claims and saying he will testify before the Senate is not that he will get Trump Impeached. He is doing this in hopes of defeating him in 2020. There are enough Republicans who know the treasonous nature of this guy and how dangerous Bolton is to the country. He is another Dick Chaney.

The Democrats will wage war as Bolton desires as long as there is enough money in it for them. Bolton is counting on Biden winning. He will say whatever he can BECAUSE he is a NEOCON who Trump hired on bad advice and then fired because Bolton will commit American boys to die or be maimed for life to fight the demons he envisions in his very dark mind.

If Bolton testifies, there will be a push to call Biden & Hunter to testify. This will become a much more nasty affair that will damage Biden and open the door for Hillary to be drafted. Hillary will not care how many Americans die on the battlefield. How much will be donated to her family will be the only question.

War is coming anyhow. There are too many people behind the curtain like Bolton working to achieve that goal.

Background Interviews With Trump Defense Team (Transcripts)…

There were two background press interviews between the media and President Trump’s legal team that were withheld from public release until today.

You can read INTERVIEW ONE – and – INTERVIEW TWO here.

During one question and answer period on Saturday, following the first round of defense points, the key framework of unconstitutional impeachment was raised:

[…] TRANSCRIPT – Question from Jeff Mason with Reuters: Can you walk us through the discrepancy between your side and the House impeachment managers with regard to the President — you guys alleging that the President was shut out from representation during the hearings? They preemptively said that that was false.

You also said today, I believe, that the reason the White House didn’t take — didn’t allow or go through with the subpoenas is because the subpoenas were invalid. Can you just walk us through the discrepancies between the two sides on that?

SOURCE ON THE PRESIDENT’S LEGAL TEAM: Sure. On the subpoena question, first: There are one of several different legal reasons that apply to different requests for documents or witnesses. And this will be explained further in our presentation, but I’ll just sort of recap what I was saying today.

One problem was that they began this impeachment inquiry in the HPSCI and the other committees that were meeting in the SCIF without any vote from the House to authorize it. And the essential point is that the Constitution gives the impeachment power to the House as a chamber — the whole House. For any committee to exercise part of that authority to a compulsory process, the committee has to be authorized by the House. That takes a vote of the House. And it could be in a resolution, it could be in a rule. It could be something that’s — but it has to be voted on by the House to actually delegate authority to the committee. There was no such vote here. And there was no jurisdiction in the standing rule to use the impeachment power for those committees.

So those subpoenas were issued without authority and they were invalid. And that’s a pretty standard analysis for how you examine and have the committee (inaudible) issue a subpoena. The courts have said you have to look at the authorizing resolution that gives it its investigatory powers, and that was our point. And this was explained in letters at the time. I put up on the screen an October 18th letter that we explained at the time this reasoning. So that’s on the invalidity of the subpoenas.

In terms of locking the President out of the process: You know, as I went through today, there was sort of an illusory offer to allow the President to have some rights in proceedings before the House Judiciary Committee. But before the deadline had even come for the President to specify how he would like to participate and what rights he would like to exercise, the Judiciary Committee had already decided they weren’t going to have any factual hearings — hear from any fact witnesses. And the Speaker had already announced the outcome of the proceedings by directing the committee to start drafting articles of impeachment.

So it was clear that the process was already a foregone conclusion, and there wasn’t going to be any real process. It was just going for show. And so the President determined that he would not sort of lend an air of legitimacy to that by participating.

And I think that that’s it.

Another Carefully Timed National Security Council Leak? – John Bolton Book Manuscript Leaked to New York Times…

The timing, purpose and narrative engineering here are transparent in the extreme.

Tonight the New York Times (Schmidt and Haberman) write an article claiming to have exclusively gained portions of a transcript of a John Bolton book manuscript that was given to the White House National Security Council for pre-publication review.

Of course The Times attempts to frame the narrative around the need for John Bolton to testify in the Senate Impeachment Trial… all too transparent in motive. Timed to work around the House fraud; impeachment article construction without Judicial review for subpoenas; and timed to bolster House managers’ unconstitutional demand for Bolton as a Senate witness.  ADD: POTUS Responds:

However, setting aside the nothing-burger details of the book as leaked, the leak itself might now reconcile an earlier event.

Remember the issue a little more than a week ago when the National Security Council senior director for European and Russian affairs, Andrew Peek, was escorted from the White House grounds and is said to be under a security-related investigation?

On Friday January 17th, 2020, the National Security Council senior director for European and Russian affairs, Andrew Peek, was escorted from the White House grounds and is currently under a security investigation.

There are few details about why Peek was physically removed and is under a very serious investigation; however, some of Andrew Peek’s professional background details tell a story.  The connection to Gen. John Allen is a MASSIVE warning flare.

Andrew Peek, the senior director for European and Russian affairs at the National Security Council, has been placed on administrative leave pending a security-related investigation, people familiar with the situation tell Axios.

First the Daily Mail:

[…] Peek had been in the NSC role for just two months, after most recently working as a deputy assistant secretary of state with responsibility for Iran and Iraq.

[…] Peek had been expected to attend the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland next week with Trump and other top aides. However, he is currently on leave pending a security-related investigation, people familiar with the situation told Axios.

[…] Peek served as a U.S. Army intelligence officer who worked under General John Allen in Afghanistan.

[…] Prior to joining the Trump administration, Peek served as a U.S. Army intelligence officer who worked under General John Allen in Afghanistan.

[…] He was also a national security adviser to Senator Gordon Smith, an Oregon Republican, and Senator Mike Johanns, a Nebraska Republican.  (link)

From a Bloomberg article:

[…] Peek previously served as a deputy assistant secretary of State for Iraq and Iran, and he was seen as an ally of Robert O’Brien.

As we shared at the time:…

[…] Andrew Peek came from the State Department.  Because the appointment happened in the past two months, it would appear Andrew Peek was recommended by the Dept. of State and accepted for the NSC post by National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien.

Here’s how it looks:  Andrew Peek was a mole.  A resistance spy sent into the Trump administration as part of the allied deep state resistance effort.  Someone caught him attempting to access something, and here’s how CTH can tell (keep reading).

Suspicious Cat remains suspicious…

The message from Bolton’s publisher:

The House motive here, the forethought within the design, is very important now because it explains why they are vociferously demanding witnesses in the Senate.  The House plan was always to work around the ability of the executive branch to go to court. The managers are now attempting to execute that plan, along with a manufactured political talking point, in the Senate trial.

The House crew intended for this to unfold exactly as it is happening.

Mark Meadows and Trey Gowdy Discuss Impeachment and FBI FISA Fraud…

Mark Meadows and Trey Gowdy appear on Fox News with Maria Bartiromo to discuss their perspectives on the ongoing impeachment trial of President Trump.  Both Meadows and Gowdy point out the important aspect in HPSCI Chairman and Lead House Manager Adam Schiff constructing false information to continue an ongoing effort; that has never ceased since the original fraudulent claims around the Russia collusion conspiracy.

Mr. Gowdy notes the unusual 2020 narrative that running for office makes you immune from any federal investigative inquiry; and contrasts that position against 2016 where candidate Donald Trump was considered a viable target by the Obama administration.

Sunday Talks: Representative John Ratcliffe Discusses House Fraud Within Impeachment Articles…

Representative John Ratcliffe appears with Maria Bartiromo to discuss the fraudulent construct of the House impeachment articles.  Ratcliffe highlights how the ‘whistle-blower’ (CIA Eric Ciaramella) and the Intelligence Community Inspector General, Michael Atkinson, have conflicting testimony in the House and that’s why Impeachment Manager Adam Schiff will not release those transcripts.  WATCH:

Sunday Talks: Senator Lankford Crushes George Stephanopoulos….

Senator James Lankford appears on ABC This Week with George Stephanopoulos to discuss his perspective around the ongoing senate trial of President Trump.

During the interview DNC operative Stephanopoulos attempts to retain an opposition false narrative and Senator Lankford just fillets the arguments with facts.  Stephanopoulos is visibly upset with his inability to upend Lankford.
