Canadian Economy Drops 31,000 Full-Time Jobs In May – Chrystia Freeland Lobbies Washington DC Ally Bob Corker…
Canada’s Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland, the primary NAFTA negotiator, went to Washington DC today for a highly political ‘in-camera’ session with the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations. [Press briefing video at bottom]
The Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee is Bob Corker, one of the largest recipients of corporate Wall Street lobbyist money in the senate. Corker is the most staunch voice in opposition to President Trump’s trade reset policy. The ranking democrat is Bob Menendez. Together Corker and Menendez represent two of the most corrupt representatives in congress. These are the allies Chrystia Freeland is counting on.
Freeland’s strategy, on behalf of Prime Minister Justin from Canada, is to leverage internal U.S. political opposition against President Trump’s NAFTA trade reset. However, while Canada and Mexico fight against any new trade agreement that eliminates their economic exploitation model, the Canadian economy is already beginning to contract; and this is happening even before any substantive U.S. trade policies are in place:
(Via CBC) The economy lost 7,500 jobs in May as a drop in full-time employment was only partially offset by an increase in part-time jobs, Statistics Canada said Friday.
The overall drop in the number of jobs came as full-time jobs fell by 31,000, offset in part by a gain of 23,600 part-time positions.
[…] the only reason why the jobless number held steady was a dip in the labour force participation rate, which declined one tick to declined one tick to 65.3 per cent. Only Canadians who are actively looking for a employment are formally counted as unemployed. (more)
In comparison the U.S. job market added over 223,000 jobs in the same month and the unemployment rate dropped to 3.8%. Companies and private industry will not invest in either Canada or Mexico while the looming probability of a U.S. withdrawal from NAFTA remains.
Canada and Mexico are doubling down on their position that current NAFTA loopholes must remain in place allowing them to operate as pass-throughs to the U.S. market for foreign, mostly Asian, goods.
After the fiasco of the G7 summit, the likelihood of any agreement in terms between the U.S., Canada and Mexico is essentially nil. There are increasingly visible U.S. economic indicators that positive U.S. MAGAnomic results are overwhelming the voices of purchased political leaders trying to sell a narrative of doom around President Trump’s tariff proposals and reciprocal trade reset.
One key index is the U.S. stock market growth amid tariff, trade and NAFTA withdrawal discussion. As CTH has discussed the eventual trade outcome now appears baked into the latest market analysis. This is the worst possible timing for Justin and Chrystia to be playing politics with the Canadian economy; but that’s exactly what their strategy appears to be committed to. Amid this U.S. MAGAnomic environment, threats of counter-tariffs by Mexico, Canada and the EU are as useless as feathers in a hurricane.
The only thing missing is the official U.S. announcement withdrawing from NAFTA… But don’t worry, that announcement is coming. Unfortunately for the politically-minded Justin Trudeau and Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland what they don’t understand is that President Trump doesn’t care about their delicate sensibilities and blame-casting maneuvers. POTUS Trump was elected specifically because he doesn’t apply a political prism in front of economic or national security decisions.
Without radical transformation to remove the loopholes, NAFTA is dead, all three countries know it. The aspect that both Canada and Mexico continue to ignore is that President Trump is in no rush to announce it.
President Trump is in no rush to announce withdrawal because the effects of withdrawal are already well underway. Investors are not going to invest in Canada and Mexico while the uncertainty of a U.S. NAFTA exit looms in the air. The political positioning of the Canadian team is entirely framed around blame casting:
.
Chrystia from Canada continues pushing the ridiculously obtuse narrative that tariffs to protect the U.S. steel and aluminum industry represent President Trump saying Canadians are a national security threat to the U.S.
Canada doesn’t make much steel and aluminum for two reasons:
#1 because the environmentalists in Canada have killed off their heavy manufacturing industrial base. Which is exactly what President Trump is attempting to ensure doesn’t happen in the United States.
#2 because it’s just easier, and more lucrative, to structure the Canadian economy as a brokerage for the assembly of pre-manufactured Asian products prior to entering the U.S. market via the NAFTA loophole. This economic model was designed by former Canadian and Mexican officials, who were well paid puppets to the plans of multinational corporations and financial interests.
It was a nice gig while it lasted; and both Canada and Mexico have had over 25 years to enjoy the construct. However, President Trump is now resetting the entire agreement to benefit the interests of U.S. workers and Main Street USA.

President Trump Discusses Singapore Summit With Sean Hannity…
Mark Sanford Defeated in SC Primary Contest – MAGA Supported Katie Arrington Wins!!
Need More Winnamins !!
South Carolina Representative Mark Sanford has been defeated by primary challenger Katie Arrington for the SC District-01 race. Sanford was an unhinged critic of Donald Trump in 2016 and continued his opposition against President Trump in 2017 and 2018.
Earlier today President Trump tweeted support for Sanford’s challenger Ms. Katie Arrington. As of 12:15am with around 99% of the vote Arrington has defeated Sanford by approximately 4 points (51/47): [SC Vote Link Here]
Understanding the reality of his position Mark Sanford conceded defeat early.
Act II – The Dance of The Dragon Continues….
China controls the DPRK, that’s the baseline reality. The question debated over the past several years, has been to what extent? Having witnessed the Singapore Summit, perhaps we now have additional understanding of the scale and scope.
Kim Jong-un “is” the Panda Mask.
If you accept the cunning nature of the Beijing Dragon, and the false geopolitical face of the Panda mask as historically presented by the control elements now represented by Chairman Xi Jinping, a striking probability looms. Not only does China influence North Korea, but China actually controls every element of the North Korean government that surrounds Chairman Kim Jong-un.
The problem for Chairman Xi is what happens when all of the political forces align to place Chairman Kim Jong-un in a position of opening the door for the U.S. and President Trump and the West (writ large) to enter North Korea under the auspices of a CVID nuclear agreement.
In essence, President Trump may now enter into a land where the officials report exclusively to Chairman Xi, and no-one knew. This presents a possibility the larger global community might soon discover the true nature of the Beijing/Pyongyang connection.
Consider that Chairman Kim was/is likely put into power not as a linear out-coming of his familial relationship, but more as a strategy of ongoing Chinese duplicity. Kim Jong-un was seen as easier to control. Consider the possibility that all of the DPRK officials who carry out the objectives of the ruling North Korean government are factually operating according to the dictates of the hidden Chinese authority.
Within this dynamic Chairman Kim received the scorn of the international community; but was -in reality- merely a figurehead, a false panda face – hiding the true authority behind all of the DPRK policy, and a designed strategy constructed by China.
Consider that by confronting the economic interests of China, President Trump fractured the decades-long ruse, and is now positioned to expose the nature of the Chinese ruling authority within North Korea. This becomes a stunning paradigm shift; a reality that few could possibly fathom, unless you consider the cunning of Beijing.
Under this scenario, it is adverse to the interest of China for a united, open and democratic Korean peninsula where the North and South are together again. It would be particularly adverse to Xi’s interests if the U.S., Japan and a united Korea formed any substantive international alliance.
The best play for China would be to control the outcomes of any unification and position China as the control agent for any united Korea. This would be critically important if, as I am now increasingly confident, North Korea was/is actually a proxy province of China and has been for decades under the complete -albeit hidden- rule of the Chinese authority.
Under this scenario, Chairman Xi has to play a very careful game of geopolitical cunning; and if at any moment he sees Chairman Kim accepting the rescue of President Trump, Xi will likely move to eliminate Kim and defend his interests quickly.
Imagine the internal stress upon the young Kim Jong-un who has been forced to ride this dragon for almost a decade, and knows his government is not actually his government but rather a governing body with all officials reporting to Beijing.
Imagine you are the next-door-neighbor to an abused child who lives inside the palace of the abuser. The abuse has been psychological and manipulative upon this child for decades. How do you rescue him? Additionally, how do you rescue him when the ultimate abuser is the king of all communities, governments, political and legal systems in/around the palace?… and only you know the nature of the dynamic….
What if….
Kim has not been victimized by the Panda mask, but rather Kim IS THE Panda mask.
Start there, and proceed with the geopolitical rescue efforts accordingly.
This presented scenario, while challenging the customary perspective, reconciles all of the conflicting aspects to the North Korean regime with the latest known empirical evidence.

Interesting Picture – Dennis Rodman Meets With Tom Bossert…
Back in April, 2018, Homeland Security Adviser Tom Bossert was essentially fired (resigned) due to a conflict with incoming National Security Adviser John Bolton.
As the story was told at the time: Bossert resisted a reorganization of the National Security Council that made him subordinate to the national security adviser, so Bolton told him to pack his bags and get out.
However, Tom Bossert was exceptional in his role as Homeland Security Adviser; with expertise on cyber defense, terrorism and national security responses to natural disasters. As a DHS expert Bossert’s communication and coordination skills during the 2017 storm season was particularly, and extraordinarily, effective.
Additionally, close-quarter White House staff held/hold very high opinion of Mr. Bossert, the highest; and POTUS Trump is not the type of person who would randomly allow such high caliber talent to leave an organization. Tom Bossert’s April announcement always seemed oddly out of step.
Today Dennis Rodman tweet’s this picture of himself and Tom Bossert in Singapore just after the summit between President Donald Trump and North Korea Chairman Kim Jong-un.
Hmmm?
Tom Bossert is no longer officially part of the Trump White House.
Yet Tom Bossert is in Singapore… liaising with Dennis Rodman.
Yesterday during a CNN interview, Dennis Rodman said he was contacted by a female emissary from the office of the president conveying thanks for his efforts and relaying a sentiment of appreciation and pride toward Mr. Rodman.
Today unofficial Tom Bossert meets with unofficial Dennis Rodman.
Curiouser and curiouser…
