Sad Meatball 2 – President Trump Beating Governor DeSantis by 41 Points in Florida

Posted originally on the CTH on December 13, 2023 | Sundance

You might be having a bad week if you are touting yourself as the next best hope for Casey’s tiara and you find yourself losing by 41 points to the guy you are being paid to beat.  Making matters worse, with the reality of the irrelevant collapse in full sunlight, the govt now steps in to prosecute DeSantis for fraud (campaign violations).  Yup, it’s how the process rolls.

It’s like a nightmare Rob, the downward spiral just keeps getting worse and worse.  DeSantis should have thought about this before sitting in the seat, because once the donor gate locks shut, you can’t get off until the ride’s over.  Sucks to be Rob.

[POLL DATA]

FLORIDA – Trump (59%) holds a commanding lead over all other Republicans vying for the presidential nomination in Florida. DeSantis (19%), Haley (8%), Christie (5%), and Ramaswamy (1%) come nowhere close. Fewer than 1 in 20 respondents indicated that they are still undecided about who they’ll be voting for in the primary this upcoming March. (link)

Yes, it’s time….

Ron DeSantis was always the counterfeit $100 bill being dragged through the MAGAhood on a fishing line by the Bush crew.  A few people fell for it at first, some even chased it. But then slowly word spread, and now people just laugh at it as it passes by.

The Stuff Not Known About Tucker Carlson Streaming Service Launch Today

Posted originally on the CTH on December 11, 2023 | Sundance

In preparation for 2024 CTH now has a strong source arsenal of very specific contacts.  I can say with certainty that Tucker Carlson publicly expresses significant support for Elon Musk and his Twitter endeavor; however, privately Tucker says he doesn’t trust Musk one bit.

What’s the motive for the two faces?  Easy, Carlson is launching his own platform, and he is publicly positioning for the largest populist audience, while avoiding the harder road of speaking true, yet unpopular opinions.   Tucker isn’t the only voice doing that, and (short term) Musk is benefiting, but watch out.  Take that reality as you will, but it’s a truthful baseline.

Massive News From Tucker Carlson

[Trending Politics] – Tucker Carlson is launching a new streaming dedicated to his brand of brash conservatism, one that is expected to rival the online efforts of Fox News and other major players in center-right news circles.

The Wall Street Journal reports that the new service, which launches Monday, is expected to cost $9 per month, or $72 per year, and offer content from Carlson and other reporters that builds on lengthy programs he has been freely releasing for months on X. Sources close to the project expect up to five shows to be ready by mid-week, a combination of interviews, short-form videos and monologues. Named the Tucker Carlson Network, the new outlet will have a red pill as its logo, a wink to conservatives who regularly use the “Matrix” reference to imply a greater understanding of truth over misinformation.

Like most online outlets, some programming on the Tucker Carlson Network will remain free and ad-supported while other interviews and monologues will be available exclusively to subscribers without ads. Carlson was taking sign-ups for the service at his own site, http://www.tuckercarlson.com, as of Monday morning. (read more)

President Trump Widens Lead in Latest Iowa Poll, Now Exceeding 51%

Posted originally on the CTH on December 11, 2023 | Sundance

Despite Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley spending massive amounts of time and resources in Iowa, President Trump is pulling away according to the latest polling.

[SOURCE]

IOWA – Donald Trump’s support now tops 50% in Iowa, where the former president has strengthened his already overwhelming lead over Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis — neither of whom has fully broken away as the clear second choice.

[…] DeSantis, who was tied with Haley at 16% in October, has gained 3 percentage points to pull away from her in second place with 19%.

Haley had seen a burst of momentum in Iowa between August and October, growing her share of support from 6% to 16% following well-received debate performances. In recent weeks, she has snagged a major endorsement from Americans For Prosperity Action, part of the Koch political network, and has amassed support from major donors looking for an alternative to Trump.

But those efforts have not resulted in a bump in the latest Iowa Poll, and she remains flat at 16% — even as other candidates have dropped out.  (read more)

For those who follow inside politics closely, you will notice the Rupert Murdoch operation has switched from DeSantis to Haley.

Murdoch outlet The Wall Street Journal is now pushing Nikki Haley as the next best candidate to stop Trump and defeat Biden.   This was/is all very predictable.

[…] “While the poll finds Trump with a dominating lead in the Republican primary, with nearly 60% support, it suggests that Nikki Haley would be the stronger general-election candidate. Haley, a former South Carolina governor and U.N. ambassador, tops Biden in a test match-up by 17 points, 51% to 34%, compared with Trump’s four-point lead.

Ron DeSantis, the Florida governor, ties Biden at 45% each. DeSantis had led Biden by 3 points in a Journal survey in April. (more)

It was always going to be Nikki despite the full-throated first wave of support for Ron.  Why was this prediction below so transparently obvious?  Simply, because DeSantis sucks as a candidate and at a certain point the management cannot overcome the candidate weakness.  The principal has to stand alone, and Ron DeSantis is not the guy to be able to handle that responsibility; he’s just too weak and controlled.

So yeah, it was always going to be Nikki as the hopeful GOPe nominee to block Trump.  CHECK DATE:

A Generational Challenge that Begins at Home

Posted originally on the CTH on November 28, 2023 | Sundance

Sometimes I am required by disposition to drop to my knees in thankful and appreciative prayer for the intellectual and honest fellowship on these pages; this is one of those times.

When I describe the nature of our affiliation to those in similar networks, some of those you would likely call familiar, I am often asked why I spend so much time reviewing the commenting section of our diverse conversation on the porch. My answer is the same as the repeated emphasis I provided to those who rescued us from the Big Tech deplatforming effort… “the conversation is the point.”

You are the absolute best group of online people assembled. PERIOD. You are what makes me smile, feel optimistic, feel encouraged and positive about the future amid the whirlwind of chaos generated by the professional political class. Quite simply, you.. that’s right, YOU, are the modern WE THE PEOPLE. Feel good about that as you look at the person you see in the mirror when you brush your teeth. Give yourself credit, you are awesome.

An incredible conversation starts with one simple and profoundly interesting point from Lorrie

“I teach humanities in a public middle school. The history portion of the curriculum is the study of ancient civilizations. I NEVER espouse either my personal religious or political views — ever!

Yesterday I asked my students to write down — as a quick write– what they knew about our current government– who is in charge… how does it work…

NADA. Zilch.

These kids write every single day in my class.

Many left the paper blank.

Most said, “I don’t know anything about our government.” A few mentioned who the president is.

Hmmmm…..

Ten years ago, I had students yammering their opinions on all sorts of political topics. I realize that usually they were parroting what they hear from family members.

Today, silence.”

Big wisdom follows from Paul:

“I don’t put it on the kids because in your original post you mention that 10 years ago, kids yammered away with opinions. Something shifted. It’s why I asked the question.

This tells me they are not hearing it at home. Their parents are not talking about it. Nor are others around them. Then they spend hours upon hours on their phones on social media.

They are isolated and being manipulated. They just don’t know it. And their parents ignore it because they too, more than likely, have been swallowed by the Borg.

Sad times.”

A simple response, with just as profound an affirmation from Oscar:

“Sad to confirm Paul but everything you say is true and has swallowed up my 20 yo daughter. The self isolation and 100% reliance on her phone for information is beyond disturbing to me. I pay for her phone because it helps her keep her job. I’m seriously thinking of pulling the plug and forcing her to pay phone expenses.

I speak with her regularly regarding current events, Gaza, Biden, etc. but have a hard time staying calm. She doesn’t read anything other than what’s spoon fed her through her iphone. She has zero historical context or background for any of her communist inspired rhetoric. She is completely manipulated. Her two brothers are complete MAGA and know what’s happening.

Her older sister is Lib and will not change due to peer pressure among the elite crowd in NYC that she works and socializes with. Obviously, my experience has been much tougher with my two daughters. I used to believe that a liberal is a future conservative once they age, pay taxes and are mugged by reality. My daughter in NYC has been mugged once by herself visiting DC and again in DC with her hyper lib, former college roommate (all within the last 18 months) and they both are still Lib. I will never give up on them. I constantly send them conservative, logical articles (VDH is a favorite) and I always try to lead by example.”

Please, if you are so inclined, let us continue this conversation in this breakout post.

There is large value within this discussion and trust me – I, along with millions of like-minded mules, some with a profound reach and beyond your imagining importance, read every single word with contemplation, introspection and appreciation.

♦ Last point. When you drop a stone into a pond a ripple is created. The ripple expands in an ever-increasing circle. Once you drop the stone, there is no way to reverse the process of the ripple expanding. Such is the pond of life and ultimately the love, wisdom and value you drop within it.

This simple fellowship we call The Conservative Treehouse exists, because of you – not me, YOU.

You are the point.

You are the value.

You are the gift.

Feel that…. along with my profound appreciation for your incredible value.

Love to all.

Moms For America Endorses President Donald Trump

Posted originally on the CTH on November 27, 2023 | Sundance

Moms for America is a dedicated advocacy group for women and children against the modern cultural Marxists.  Today they endorsed President Donald Trump for 2024.

[Endorsement Link] – […] What we need most right now are leaders who will protect the Constitution, defend the family, and stand for truth and commonsense even when it isn’t popular to do so. We need leaders who are not afraid to fight for what’s right, who will defend the Constitution and put America first. That is why Moms for America Action is endorsing Donald Trump for president.

Donald Trump has already proven himself the leader we need in these turbulent times. As president, Donald Trump was a steadfast champion for moms. He took action to keep our children safe in schools by rescinding Barack Obama’s co-ed bathroom policy – in his first week in office. He reduced taxes and cut regulations to ease the burden on hard-working American families. He instituted policies that allowed America to achieve true energy independence for the first time in half a century, slashing the prices of gas and electricity to the benefit of moms and their families.

Donald Trump was also the first sitting president ever to attend the March For Life, where he honored mothers as heroes and acknowledged the indispensable role we play in raising America’s children to become the next generation of patriots to lead this country.

That is why Moms for America Action enthusiastically endorses Donald Trump for President of the United States. He is a proven leader who has already demonstrated that he will stand up for freedom and fight for American values, even when he is viciously attacked for doing so.

As mothers, there is nothing more important to us than a free America where our children can thrive and are free to pursue their American dream.  Moms need a champion like Donald Trump back in the White House, defending our families, protecting our freedoms, and renewing hope for our children. A Hero’s Welcome – President Trump Upstages Nikki Haley in South Carolina at Palmetto Bowl

Posted originally on the CTH on November 25, 2023 | Sundance

President Trump knows how to deliver the political optics that diminish the competition, and his appearance at the South Carolina Palmetto Bowl did exactly that to Nikki Haley.

(Via Daily Mail) – [President Trump] “received a warm welcome from fans in South Carolina as he took his seat at Williams-Brice Stadium for the school’s rivalry football matchup with Clemson.

The 5-6 Gamecocks are hosting the 7-4 Tigers in the conservative-leaning state that former US President Trump won in both 2016 and 2020. But while the bulk of voters in South Carolina are Republicans, USC happens to be in Richland county, which overwhelmingly voted for President Joe Biden in 2020 and Hillary Clinton in 2016.

However, the fans in attendance at Williams-Brice Stadium on Saturday night still appeared pleased to see him, with footage on social media showing Trump earning cheers as he takes his seat in the stands.

The 77-year-old can be seen waving to the crowd before the Palmetto State rivalry game, where he is hoping to upstage his Republican opponent Nikki Haley on her home turf. (more)

As Politico noted, “this week’s NBC News poll had a stunning result: Trump led Biden among voters younger than 35, 46 percent to 42 percent.”
