Interview: You Need Two Years Worth of Food

“Legendary financial and geopolitical cycle analyst Martin Armstrong has new data on how well the Biden economy is doing. Spoiler alert: It’s not doing well, and the financial system is about to tank. I asked Armstrong if the US government could default on its debt if countries around the world continue to stop buying it? Armstrong explained, “I think the US could default on its debt as early as 2025, but probably in 2027. We have kicked the can down the road as far as we can go. It’s not just in the United States. Europe is in the same boat. So is Japan. This is why they need war. They think by going into war, that’s the excuse to default on the debt. They simply will not pay China. If they try to sell their debt–good luck. We are not redeeming it. The same thing is happening in Europe. So, once that happens, you go into war, and that is their excuse on this whole debt thing to collapse, which wipes out pensions etc. Then they can blame Putin. This is the same thing Biden was doing before saying this was Putin’s inflation. Then, with the whole CBDC thing (central bank digital currency) . . . . the IMF has already completed its digital coin, and they want that to replace the dollar as the reserve currency for the world. . . . These people are desperately just trying to hang on to power. Nobody wants to give it up, and nobody wants to reform.”
I asked Armstrong what should the common person be doing now? Armstrong surprisingly said, “I think you need, safely, two years’ worth of food supply. . . .This is what I have. It’s not just prices will go up, but mainly because there will be shortages. Then, you do not know what they are going to do with the currency. . . . They will do whatever they have to do to survive. That’s what governments always do.”
Armstrong says his most recent data suggests that government approval ratings in the USA are worse that Biden’s 8% approval rating. Congress, according to Armstrong, is dragging the bottom with a 7% approval rating. Armstrong has long said that people will buy gold and silver when faith in government crashes. That is exactly what Armstrong is seeing around the world today. Gold is bouncing around the $2,300 level, and Armstrong sees “a new gold and silver rally coming soon.” War is also coming sooner than later with the announcement that Ukraine will be joining NATO as early as July. When the next war starts, Armstrong warns, “You are going to have to watch the bank because long term interest rates are going to go up. Nobody wants to buy government debt, and you are going to have to hunker down at that stage in the game.”
Armstrong is also predicting a big turn on or about May 7th of next week. Armstrong predicts a recession will start then and go on until 2028. GDP will continue to fall, and inflation will continue to rise. Armstrong says it is the perfect storm for a dreaded “stagflation economy.”

Riots Erupt on UCLA Campus and Universities as Pro-Hamas Groups Clash With College Students

There was a meme we often shared 15-years-ago as the era of Obama’s political rise started to manifest in full glory. The Chicago Marxists, who used the power of political correctness, guilt and progressivism to manipulate public opinion, were successful.
The radicals took control of the executive branch institutions, George Soros began funding networks connected at various state levels to the judicial branch institutions and the manifesting results were predictable.
All of the current violent and extreme pro-Hamas college activity flows from the same system of NGO’s and political activist groups connected to the Obama network. They hate Israel, and they hate the USA.
CALIFORNIA – In UCLA last night protesters and counter-protesters were seen clashing with sticks, and tearing down metal barricades, TV footage showed. Others were seen launching fireworks or hurling objects at each other in the dark – lit up with laser pointers and bright flashlights.
The Los Angeles police department said that ‘officers have been deployed, and are currently on the UCLA campus, to assist in restoring order.’
The nationwide protests have posed a challenge to university administrators trying to balance free speech rights with complaints that the rallies have veered into anti-Semitism and hate.
The unrest has swept through US higher education institutions like wildfire, with many student protesters erecting tent encampments on campuses from coast to coast.
In another of the newest clashes, at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, police moved in Tuesday to clear one encampment, detaining some protesters in a tense showdown.
A week-long occupation was brought also brought to an end at northern California’s Cal Poly Humboldt while Portland State University’s campus, in Oregon, was closed Tuesday ‘due to an ongoing incident’ in the library.
Local media reported around 50 protesters had broken into the building a day earlier.
And Brown University reached an agreement in which student protesters will remove their encampment in exchange for the institution holding a vote on divesting from Israel – a major concession from an elite American university.
Shocking footage from the scene at UCLA showed both sides openly clashing as college security abandoned the scene and local police were nowhere to be seen.
Just before 11pm local time in Los Angeles, the violence escalated when the pro-Israeli side surrounded the pro-Palestine group. During this standoff, a firework was thrown at the camp.
The video showed both sides using pieces of wood as makeshift weapons. The walls of the encampment were smashed, at least one person could be seen being dragged on the ground by another group.
‘Horrific acts of violence occurred at the encampment tonight, and we immediately called law enforcement for mutual aid support,’ UCLA’s vice-chancellor Mary Osako said in a tweet.
The LAPD said in a message that their presence was requested on campus at UCLA due to ‘multiple acts of violence.’
These clashes lasted for around 90 minutes before Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass announced that law enforcement was about to be deployed at the college. At 1:30am local time police officers and the California Highway Patrol arrived. (READ MORE)
Smith & Merrick Garland of DOJ Have NO Constitutional Authority to Prosecute Trump – PERIOD!!!!

COMMENT: Mr. Armstrong, You may be a trader, but your understanding of constitutional law far surpasses that of most attorneys. I heard your father was also such a man. As you have raised, Justice Thomas even asked if Trump’s lawyer, John Sauer, had questioned Smith’s power to prosecute any president. Justice Thomas asked, “Did you, in this litigation, challenge the appointment of special counsel?” He said “We hadn’t raised it yet in this case when this case went up on appeal.” This is shocking. Justice Kavanaugh also chimed in along the same lines, warning as you do that this will establish an unending precedent. Justice Gorsuch commented that the court is “writing a rule for the ages.” Are Trump’s lawyers deliberately throwing this case?

REPLY: Yes, I grew up with debates and discussions about the Constitution. My father was a brilliant many who inspired me to discover history. It was the Age of McCarthy who was ignoring everything just to win as they are doing today. As I have said, Article I, Section 6, Clause 1 prohibits the arrest of a Congressman or Senator to interfere in their vote. The president cannot be the exception. Article II, Section 4 makes it very clear that ONLY Congress can charge the President, and he can ONLY be put on trial in the Senate:
The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.
I really do not understand fighting on immunity when they should be fighting on the lack of subject matter jurisdiction to appoint some prosecutor who is UNELECTED and UNSUPERVISED by the Senate, and he can bring charges against a president who interferes in the 2024 election. This is not going to look good historically. Justice Kavanaugh is very smart, and he understands precedents well. He explained: “It’s going to cycle back and be used against the current president or the next president … and the next president and the next president after that.” Justice Gorsuch’s comment that they are “writing a rule for the ages” is absolutely correct.

Merrick Garland and Jack Smith acted as Traitors and should be prosecuted for their actions without any authority for violating their oaths to uphold the Constitution. This would be true even against prosecuting Biden. That must rest in the hands of the House to Impeach (Indict) and the Senate to put on trial in both cases. I am shocked that nobody in Congress has moved to IMPEACH both men, and they should be put on trial themselves.
The Constitution specifically identifies what constitutes treason against the United States and, importantly, limits the offense of treason to only two types of conduct: (1) “levying war” against the United States or (2) “adhering to [the] enemies [of the United States], giving them aid and comfort.” In the good old days of England, Garland and Smith would have been hanged for treason. The Court held in Cramer v. United States 325 U.S. 1 (1945) that they MUST have given aid and comfort to an enemy. You may sympathize with an enemy’s view but you must also commit an act of comfort to the enemy, else there is no treason. This raises the question of Treason domestically when what they are doing is trying to aid the foreign economic policy of Karl Marx – a socialist. I cannot see how nobody has challenged in court that their redistributing wealth violated the Equal Protection Clause of the Constitution.
We cannot have liberty and justice for all, and then we claim that monetary means are the exception so we can discriminate by class. This is so hypocritical it goes right to the foundation of liberty and equal protection of the law. I have studied INTERNATIONAL LAW and how it has evolved since ancient times.
This is not being partisan. We are indeed staring into the eyes of the ABSOLUTE death of the United States. This is why these people want Biden; he is senile and lets them do whatever they want. They are bringing down the United States, and we are looking at not just writing a rule for the ages; we are looking at the total collapse of the United States. These people hate Trump so much that they are destroying everything the Founding Fathers envisioned, all for personal corruption.
Income Equality – Paying People Not to Work?

Under Communism, everyone made the same. That removed the incentive to even invent anything. The socialists looked at Henry Ford and despised his wealth. They ignored that Henry Ford invented the assembly line and created the auto industry; when everyone could afford a car, they expanded and began moving to the suburbs where they could commute. To the Socialists, all they look at is the money one person earns and say that is not fair. That is what destroyed Communism, and it will destroy the West as well – it’s just our turn.
The LEFT is Winning

The LEFT is ALWAYS much more violent than the RIGHT. The simple difference is that the core philosophy of the RIGHT is you leave me alone, and I will leave you alone. But the core philosophy of the LEFT is always concerned about other people, from them making more than they do to being more successful in general. The LEFT always portrays themselves as VICTIMS, and they are always oppressed because of others. It’s just not fair to them that someone gets a new car and they can’t afford it.
Ironically, women did not need to vote before socialism. There was no income tax, and the real issue would be national policies and war that did not impact the individual – man or woman. Once the United States turned to socialism, then every individual, regardless of their gender or race, was entitled to vote since now laws were being imposed on personal activity and income. The LEFT has always claimed they care, but in truth, they have always been the oppressors throughout history, seeking to dictate every aspect of how people lived their lives.
The LEFT championed the income tax and swore they were only attacking the rich. Now, you must file an income tax form to say you do not owe any tax. The crime is NOT failing to pay the tax; it is FAILURE TO FILE. We are running full-speed into Digital Currencies because the LEFT cannot sleep at night worrying about everyone getting cash under the table.
We just went through an audit in Florida, where we have no state income tax, but we have to collect unemployment taxes from workers. They were looking to see if we were paying CONTRACT WORKERS who are not on the payroll. I said we do not have such workers, which did not matter. We had to go through the audit explaining payments made to other companies, and they would check on them to ensure they were an actual company. After three months of an audit and legal and accounting fees in excess of $50,000, we ended up owing nothing – thank you very much for not believing me in the first place.
Welcome to the LEFT – they care so much about us, they do not believe anything we ever say – we are all just liars and scum. The assumption in government is that “We the People” never pay the taxes they demand. Everyone skims 35% off what they would really owe.
The solution is to eliminate ALL paper money, including crypto, and force us to use their coming digital currencies that can be traced back to their origin. If I give you a $100 bill, they do not know who gave it to me. But if it is a crypto, they know every person in that chain before me. Nobody knows who created blockchain because it was the government, and they created Bitcoin to sell this idea to the people, saying that it would be separate from the central banks and anti-fiat. Welcome to the actual end game – the government will get EVERY penny of tax they ever dreamed of.

We are the workforce.
We are also digital warriors, meme creators, artists, researchers, autists and ordinarily invisible people now considered dissidents in our own country.
We are the backbone of industry, the people who keep it all functioning, the builders, diggers and blue-collar workforce that keeps everything functioning.
We are the people they will never fully control. We speak in languages they do not understand, and we absorb targeted ridicule as fuel.
We are the movers of goods, the truckers, the farmers, the nameless people behind the skilled trades that keep what they call American society moving.
We are the people who grow the food, pick the food, transport the food, stock the food, cook the food and facilitate the life they live.
We are a visible, yet disregarded, insurgent force within their sphere of life that is never considered, yet we control the outcomes of every moment they value.
We pick up the trash, answer the phones, run cables to their devices, mow their lawns, solve their problems, control the flow of essential services and keep our heads below the radar.
We are the majority.
We are a self-reliant, freedom loving, normally peaceful and God-fearing assembly.
We drive them to their destination; we are comfortably out of mind until needed, and yet we are irreplaceable for the things they require.
We are armed with tools, hammers, pens, rulers, mice, pickup trucks, laptops, post-it notes, stickers and alternate forms of messaging that circumvent the control mechanisms deployed to create our silence.
We are inside every facility, every institution, every meeting, every moment of their existence – and we notice everything.
We have eyes of mice and ears of elephants. We are there when they do not expect, and we melt away before they notice our appearance.
We are smart, strategic, highly intelligent and carry a brutally obvious and pragmatic common sense that finds optimal solutions to everything.
We identify our tribe immediately and without conversation.
We see what they hide, we hear what they whisper, we decipher their codes, and we understand the complexity they create in their effort to conceal.
We control the physical world that operates around every element of society, and we value real and tangible assets.
We do not sit around pontificating eloquently about philosophic nuances; we get shit done.
We are the people who facilitate their ability to take us for granted, and we do so without issue, resentment or desire for recognition.
We are optimistic, affable, kind, generous, friendly, loyal, warm and quietly spiritual in purpose.
We are polite, considerate and slow to anger.
We prefer to be left alone. However, pushed entirely far enough, decisions are reached. Right now, we are tenuously staring with deepened gaze.
We are increasingly pissed off…. Big Time!
In every town, village and hamlet we are encountering the same conversation. On every porch, in every shop, at every event, the topic is the same.
Right now, we are taking this fury to the platforms of visibility where we hope to influence outcomes. But if that effort fails, and/or if the command-and-control authorities make the mistake of thinking they can shut down our visibility, destroy our leadership and therefore control the dissent, there will be no quarter provided in the aftermath.
The two biggest mistakes they can make right now is not understanding why we have begun to bow our heads.
First, our heads are not bowed because we are subservient, cowering or accepting the current effort to control us….

Their second mistake would be to ignore that we are not praying for us…
….We are praying for those who trespass against us!
They may not like what follows, “Amen!”

Mainstream News is Committing Suicide

Virtually everyone I talk to thinks mainstream news is just propaganda. COVID drove a spike through the very heart and soul of the First Amendment. Even five years later, people generally respected the news. COVID appears to have been the death knell to mainstream news. This chart shows the results of Gallip[ Polls], and the trust in American media is down well below 40%. Our models warn that when confidence in government falls below 40%, governments begin to collapse.
Last October, the Pew Research Center reported that Americans follow the news less closely than they used to. I remember growing up, and my father and mother would first watch the nightly news, and then the shows would come on. Never did I ever hear my father call the news fake or propaganda. Indeed, back in 2016, 51% of American adults surveyed indicated that they do so “all or most of the time.” That number dropped to 38% in 2022.
According to Pew, we are witnessing the complete collapse of trust in media across gender, age, education, ethnicity, and party affiliation. The collapse is greater among Republicans and even independents, dropping from 57% to 37%. Among Democrats, trust has declined from 49% to 42%.
Those who know my research are quite familiar with the process of a decline in the CONFIDENCE of government, and this is a Private War that peaks in 2032. During a private wave, we see people distrusting the government and moving to the private sector, so things like the stock market and real estate have risen because capital is moving from government bonds to private assets. The collapse in the media is part of this cycle. The media aligned with the government during the communist era – PRAVDA. While the name meant “truth” in Russia, the people knew it was all just propaganda. We now find ourselves heading in the same direction. The media will fall with the government as it did under communism.
And Here Comes April/May 2024

The Supreme Court has set April 25th as the oral argument for the decision on whether Trump has immunity. I do not know why events will always show up with our cycle targets. I have come to believe that the PRESSURE in the system compels actions to take place on these cyclical targets. Our turning point in the Ukraine-Russia War is April 19/20th. Then we have May 7th for the ECM, which was calculated back in 1977, and it turns out to be the precise day the president of Russia will be sworn in.
I cannot predict what the fundamentals will be during April—I can only make a human guess or speculate. What I find most curious is how events keep aligning with our cyclical model ascertained by Socrates as well as the Economic Confidence Model frequency.
For those who constantly claim this is just a coincidence, this 51.65 wave began in 1985.65. For this turning point to be the inauguration day of the President of Russia after the March elections coming in as Mary 7th, 2024 (2024.35), I would remind you that at the start of this wave, I laid out that the 2016 election would be the FIRST time a third party president could win. That was Donald Trump since the RINOs were just as hateful of Trump as the Democrats. Why? Those in Marxville DO NOT LIKE outsiders.
Trump was inaugurated on January 20th, 2017. That was also the PRECISE day from the start of this wave, 1985.65 + Pi—31.4 years. Add that together, and you end up with 2017.05. Take 365 days x .05 and you get 20 days into the year – the precise day Trump was inaugerated.
The Pi target during the 1929.75 Wave was 1932.89 (Mov 20th/21st) – the precise day that Hitler was offered the Chancellorship of Germany. Even the 911 attack was precisely the same Pi target. I can go on and on; I will write a book on the ECM this year.
The New Yorker called it the Secret Cycle. There is a hidden order to our very existence that is simply the rhythm that answers the question of everything. It is why no nation has ever endured, for they always crumble to dust, and empires, nations, and city-states have all been buried in a common grave for more than 6,000 years.
The ECM does NOT include the timing arrays that Socrates produces. The computer analyzes the time ENTIRELY on its own, and there is no human intervention. So when the Timing Arrays correlate with sowing 2032, I take that as a CONFIRMATION because it is NOT included in that Timing Array.
Someone put an array into Microsoft’s Copilot to see if it knew what it was. This was its response.
Then, Socrates does Pattern Recognition completely differently than anything out there. It catalogs patterns, and it has over 100,000 possibilities and counting. I have not yet released the analysis of when a specific pattern appears and what pattern comes next.
I have separate Chaos Models that reveal that there is no such thing as a RANDOM WALK. That is the excuse used by people who only see the world in a linear, straight line. They cannot see the dynamic world around them or connect the dots. Unfortunately, this is the danger of politicians making decisions in the immediate self-interest and NEVER once considering the next step. the REALITY of human society. We are again heading into World War III and it appears they are completely STUPID and once more never considering what happens if Ukraine defeats Russia in Crimea? As the Country Divides – so do Families

COMMENT: Mr. Armstrong, My son voted for Biden because he said Trump he thought was an asshole. We hardly talk any more for he is among the brainwashed. He will not change his mind, for he then has to admit he has been wrong. It has gotten to the point I am changing my will and he gets nothing. A few of my friends are in the same boat. This has divided the nation, but it is also destroying families.

REPLY: I have friend who no longer talk to their children and they are European and that is over climate change and COVID. This is the hated that is a deliberate psychological war tactic that they have used against our own people. Who cares if Trump is arrogant as long as he keeps the world at peace, protects our privacy, and stands up against the Deep State? This is becoming a vote for Trump or Victoria Nuland – because Biden is not there. Families are being broken up, and there is no going back.
My old partner, Jack King, out of the blue one day said to me if anything happens to him, make sure his children get nothing and everything was to go to his second wife. I do not know if it was a premonition, but three weeks later, Jack died of a heart attack while scuba diving. It was Jack who opened Japan. I had to honor his wishes. So, I have seen this far more often than one might think. I am in a similar position with someone else. Blood is not always thicker than water.
You cannot argue with a fool, for they will always claim to say what they know, but it takes wisdom to know what you are saying. Mark Twain said it best. It is far easier to fool someone, as your son has been brainwashed, but it is virtually impossible to reverse his thinking to convince him that he has been fooled. To a large extent, I see this in trading. People will hold onto a loss because they cannot admit they made a mistake. That is why it is a maxim in trading – NEVER marry the trade. Unfortunately, it may simply be irreversible. I have witnessed this too many times.
As I have been trying to explain, the LEFT has been engaging in psychological warfare. The routinely demonize an opponent like Sadam Huesain, Putin, and they used that tactic of Trump. So you sone has been brainwashed and it’s no different that you still see people wearing masks and driving alone in their car. They have been psychologically damaged.
Karl Marx and his followers view the family as a tool of capitalism. They believe its primary functions are to reproduce the workforce, pass down private property (maintaining class inequality), and act as a consumption unit to support the capitalist economy. It was more than just the state owning everything – you will own nothing and be happy as the World Economic Forum is pushing.
What this entire agenda is designed to do is to break up the family unit. This means that WEF, and Marxists, see society as being structured along class lines. Destroying the family unit ends the inequality for parents cannot then pass on anything of wealth to their children. There were some trying to push in Australia that upon your death, everything goes to the States – not your heirs. That did not go down very well. But it shows there are those out there with that mentality.
Marx insisted that institutions generally work in the interests of the elite bourgeoisie class, who have economic power over those of the much larger working class or proletariat. In Marxism, he attributed nothing to innovation and maintained that the bourgeoisie gains their wealth purely by exploiting the proletariat’s labor. For this reason, there is an inherent conflict of interest between the bourgeoisie and the proletariat in Marxism. Communism failed because innovation comes from free thinking. When you suppress individuality, the entire economy stagnates.
Nevertheless, no matter how often they fail, they are at it again because they are fools who never learn from their mistakes. What they are doing is the deliberate act of dividing the country and at the core they have been using Wokeness and demonizing Trump to destroy the family unit which they see as the foundation of the Communist state. Marx himself wrote:
“On what foundation is the present family, the bourgeois family, based? On capital, on private gain. In its completely developed form, this family exists only among the bourgeoisie.”
Marx advocated the confiscation of all property to destroy the family by simply abolishing the right to own property.
“The bourgeois family will vanish as a matter of course when its complement vanishes, and both will vanish with the vanishing of capital.”
The refusal of your son to objectively admit that he made a mistake in voting for Biden, which is only human. If he refuses to reconsider the facts and events since 2020, this warns that he is too far gone and likely unsalvageable. I know this is hard to swallow. Gallup Poll back in 1984 found that 61% of Americans were satisfied with U.S. democracy. It was nearly as high, at 60%, in 1991. Now in 2024, it is down to just 28%.
