Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) will never be confused for a supporter of President Barack Obama, as King has long been critical of his policies, particularly regarding amnesty for illegal immigrants and border security.

King has been pointing out how the border crisis was created by illegal immigrants exploiting weak security efforts and taking advantage of loopholes in the laws, such as the so-called “anchor baby” loophole.

According to The Hill, Rep. Steve King just reintroduced legislation in the House which would bring an end to what is known as birthright citizenship.

King says that there is an out-of-control “anchor babies agenda” being practiced by illegal immigrants, who deliberately give birth to their children on U.S. soil so that the child is automatically granted U.S. citizenship.
