Neither McConnell or Boehner are in the leased bit interested in reducing government spending; to do so would mean they cut their own income since they make their money from the campaigns to support or cut funding. In the end BHO will get his way and the R’s will claim there was nothing they could do. Bigger budgets are better for the political class (either party) as it more campaign money and more patronage jobs to dole out.
